Those who consider themselves to be “Dispensationalists” are in a very sad and dangerous situation, to say the least!

.

They cannot enjoy all the wonderful hidden gems of truth which are veiled within parables and allegories!

.

And as a result, they are missing out on truths that are critically important in these last hours!

.

.

.

.

REVELATION CLOSED UP

.

And one of those areas which Satan has deprived them of, is the Book of Revelation.

.

They have a totally non-biblical hermeneutic which demands a literal interpretation of Scripture, unless context demands a spiritual interpretation, and has all but closed up Revelation for them!

.

For instance, when they see “Jew” in Revelation, they can only assign that name to literal Jews after the flesh, and not to those who are a “Jew inwardly”, as it refers to Christians so often in Romans, and other places.

“ALL SCRIPTURE PROFITABLE”

But for those who know that everything in Scripture is to be understood spiritually, the Book of Revelation becomes just as relevant as, say, the writings of Paul!

Listen to Paul…“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” 2nd Timothy 3:16

.

Here is revealed that every verse of the Bible is relevant to our spiritual growth!

REVELATION IS FOR NOW!

Now why even bring this up?

.

Well, so-called, “Dispensationalists” (as they refer to themselves), have “put far away the Evil Day.” (see Amos 6:3)

.

They do not understand that Revelation is for the Church at any time in history!

A CLIMACTIC FINALE!

Oh yes, there will be a great and fearful climactic fulfillment at the very end.

.

But Revelation is also about “the things that are”. (see Revelation 1:19)

.

In other words, Revelation is not only about the “things which shall be hereafter”, but also about, “the things which are” happening right now! (Revelation 1:19)

.

FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY

.

Very simple! By putting far away the evil day, a great portion of the Church has been misled into thinking that they can enjoy, “peace and safety” when the Bible clearly says…“from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely. For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of My people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace!” Jeremiah 8:10, 11

.

THE CHURCH ASLEEP

.

And so, the end result of this great error in the Church is that the professed people of God, to a great extent, have no idea that a spiritual battle is raging all around them!

.

And to make matters even worse, their leaders have caused them to err by leading them to think that they are going to completely miss out on the battle!

.

Yes, their leaders have deceived them into the unbiblical notion that by being “Raptured” out of this world just prior to the great Day of Almighty God!

.

Consequently, the Church, to a great extent, has been lulled to sleep in “the evil day!” Amos 6:3 & Ephesians 6:13

.

ARMOR SHOULD BE ON!

.

But the Bible repeatedly warns Christians… “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore…” Ephesians 6:13, 14

.

As this passage and many others declare, the evil day is now!

.

Satan and his vast armies are stealing a march at every turn upon these naive and unsuspecting church-goers!

.

And while God’s professed people are enthusiastically pursuing the pleasures and cares of this present world, the Enemy of Souls is busy night and day, making sure that each and every church-goer and their children will be totally bankrupt when standing before the Judge on that fearful day of reckoning!

LOOSING THE BANDS OF ORION 

.

God spoke several times of Orion, in Scripture. His question to Job was a very mystifying question, to say the least… “Canst thou…loose the bands of Orion?” Job 38:31. Such a strange question, indeed! How could a constellation have its bands loosed, much less, even have bands? Puzzling, puzzling!

.

But now, He is revealing this bright and beautiful constellation in a way that has never before been seen. God Himself is loosing Orion’s bands, as He is just now unraveling this age-old mystery. And we are beginning to understand that this most infamous of all constellations is nothing less than a remarkable metaphor concerning Jesus.

MICHAEL, THE SOLDIER

.

Last is Michael the Soldier, who battles against the Dragon: “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.” Revelation 12:7, 8.

.

Contrary to popular opinion, Michael here represents Christ as He battles this dragon. This will be adequately proven in this article and in various other sections of this website. No, Christ is not merely an angel. Christ is very eternal God. But Christ is often represented as various entities, such as a rose, or a burning bush, as well as many others things in the Bible.

As evidence to this great societal metamorphosis, while Christians have enjoyed a peaceful co-existence with the world, this long-standing facade of “peace-and-safety” is now starting to crumble before our eyes!

Christians are beginning to “feel the heat”, so to speak!

Laws are even currently enacted, designed to make life difficult for those who truly desire to faithfully follow the Bible.

Yes, it seems we are now living in a “911-wake-up-call-world”!

THE MARK NOW GIVEN

And Christians understand from the Book of Revelation, that the long-promised day was foretold, when it may be impossible to buy-and-sell, except they receive the Mark, or the name, or the number of the name of the Beast. (see Revelation 13)

And even now, Satan’s beast-like world-system is beginning to show its sharp fangs against those who are sojourning to that Celestial City of God!

.

Yes, “the god of this world” is now working through this Antichrist world-system with the ultimate goal of making life unbearable, even impossible for Christians!

“COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE!”

But Satan knows well that the day has arrived when God is calling His people out of this Babylonian world (and worldly churches).

And no longer will God’s people be deceived by the pretentious friendship which the world has feigned toward the Christian community for so long!

INTO THE FIERY FURNACE

Oh yes, all those who remain in the churches, and refuse to “come out of her”, may still continue to enjoy friendship with the world.

.

But all those who, like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, refuse to worship the golden image of Satan’s world-system, will be cast into the fiery furnace of afflictions. (see Daniel, Chapter 3)

.

And just as those three Hebrew worthies remained unhurt by the fiery flames, so too, God’s people will discover that today’s fiery furnace will become God’s chosen means of purifying away every last trace of dross from their heart, so that they may come forth as brightly shining vessels of silver and gold!

“WILL SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN”

And in that day, God’s people will shine forth as the Sun, because they will finally and fully reflect the glorious image of Christ to a world lost in sin and selfishness!

“FLEE TO THE MOUNTAINS!”

And so, O Christian, if ever there was a time to cast away our idols, “to the moles and to the bats”, it is now! (see Isaiah 2:20, 21)

And if ever there was a time to flee to the heavenly mountain of God (Mount Sion), it is at this moment!

.

And those who do so will be delighted to discover that our heavenly bread and our pure, refreshing waters of grace are in abundant supply “upon every high hill and…mountain in the day when the towers (churches) fall! (see Isaiah 30:25)

FROM WHERE & TO WHERE DOES SHE FLEE?

WOMAN ROTATES THROUGH THE SEASONS…

This page is about the Big Dipper, also called the Great Bear constellation (Ursa Major ). However, the ancient pagan cultures did not see this constellation as God intended it to be seen. It is actually a headless woman in childbirth.  This is seen in springtime. It is seen in the northern skies.

But as the seasons progress, this travailing woman flips upside down, now appearing as a woman with upraised arms like eagle wings who is running (eventually flying, as shown in sketch on right) into the wilderness (westward). The single star representing her birth-child (Christ) now becomes her head (“Christ is the head of the church.” Ephesians 5:23

.

The 7 Stars (Big Dipper) is easy to see with its very bright 7 stars. But the Revelation 12 Woman (Ursa Major) must be seen on a dark starry night, away from city lights.

Eternal Torment?

“And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever:

General consensus is, that this above passage from Revelation 13 concerns the torment of all the unsaved of the world beginning in the very last moments of time, and continuing onward, throughout all eternity future!

“FOR THE LORD WILL NOT CAST OFF FOREVER!”

Lamentations 3:31

And yet, if the Bible student digs much deeper, it is discovered that God has no desire to needlessly torment lost souls throughout eternity… “But though He cause grief, yet will He have compassion according to the multitude of His mercies…Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.” Lamentations 3:31-34, 40, 41

.

Here is seen that God afflicts the children of men for the purpose of turning us away from our sin, and returning back to God.

THE OLD MAN & THE NEW MAN

.

You see, the Bible reveals that each genuine Believer has two opposing forces within: “The Old Man of Sin”, and the, “New Man”, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness” Ephesians 4:22-24

.

And so, when a man or woman turns to the Lord for Salvation, the work of sanctification has just begun! And God sits as a purifier of gold and silver, to purify the hearts of His people.

.

And even as gold and silver are purified by fire, so too, each Christian must be cast into the furnace of affliction for the purpose of heart-purification.

GOD’S PEOPLE PURIFIED BY FIRE

.

Now of course, this is not currently the interpretation embraced by the so-called “orthodoxy” of the church-world.

.

They see God as a heartless tyrant, who will continually watch the billions of unsaved multitudes roasting in fire throughout the ions of time and eternity!

.

Oh no, they don’t come out and say that God is “merciless”. But this is what they are selling to the public, by their misunderstanding of what the Bible says about the true nature of Hell.

.

THE LORD’S BREATH IS LIKE BRIMSTONE!?!

.

But listen to the fire and brimstone which Isaiah speaks of…“For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; He hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.” Isaiah 30:33

.

Here is revealed that the fire of Hell (Tophet) is not a literal fire, but is actually a spiritual fire, kindled by the breath of God, “like a stream of Brimstone”!

FURNACE OF AFFLICTION?

.

But let’s take a moment to explore just how God afflicts His people for the purpose of crucifying the Old Man… “Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.” Isaiah 48:10

.

Here is seen that God chooses His people “in the furnace of affliction”.

.

And truth-be-told, we go through many types of afflictions in this life, physical, mental, and spiritual.

.

CRUCIFYING THE OLD MAN

.

So what kinds of affliction do Believers go through, for the crucifixion of the selfish Old Man within?

.

Well, for instance, listen to this passage from Proverbs 14:14…“The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways:”

.

Here is a tiny verse which reveals a giant concept!

.

It is akin to this next verse from the same Book of Proverbs…“The blueness of a wound cleanseth away evil: so do stripes (whippings) the inward parts of the belly.” Proverbs 20:30

.

These two verses from Proverbs reveal that those of us who have iniquity in our hearts may be subjected to having our noses rubbed in our own dung, so to speak.

GLUTTONY

Yes, God looks upon the heart of a man, and sees that wickedness is found there, which must be purged out.

For instance, those of us who are plagued by the sin of gluttony will often have to repeatedly suffer the torment of overeating.

.

And so, day and night, the smoke of this torment causes us to fall to our knees in prayer and pleading for deliverance from such affliction which continually plagues us!

“NO REST, DAY NOR NIGHT!”

.

“So am I made to possess months of vanity, and wearisome nights are appointed to me.” Job 7:3

.

And those of us who have been cast into the miry pit of our fleshly sins, fully understand how Satan uses these painful months of affliction to discourage us, to make us doubt, and to cause us to murmur against God… “God, why aren’t You helping me!? Why don’t You deliver me from this sin!? Why are You allowing Satan so much leeway in my life!?”

.

And God looks down on us with great sympathy because of our sufferings, knowing that these afflictions are necessary for the crucifixion of that Old Man of the flesh.

ANOTHER DEVOTIONAL?

.

Well, it’s too bad that time doesn’t permit a full exploration of this subject. But perhaps it can be continued in a future devotional.

.

But let it suffice to be said, that those of us who are now suffering the torment of remaining in the miry pit of our fleshly sins, will not be forever tormented.

.

But, “after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” 1st Peter 5:10

.

FORMER THINGS PASSED AWAY

.

The very wonderful Good News is that our present sufferings will not last forever! No, one day soon God is going to create a New Heavens and a New Earth!

.

And all the former things, such as suffering, sorrow, pain, tears and death, will be forever vanquished out of existence! (see Revelation 21:4)

.

And instead, the entire universe will then become a place of peace, and joy, and rest, and purity, and love.

.

And throughout all the lush green eternal valleys and hills will be heard the echoes of innocent laughter, and singing, and freedom bells ringing in the total and final victory over sin.

.

And we will be forever young! And no more will there be a place of suffering and torment!

.

And this Promised Land will continue on for ever, and ever…Amen!

ORION, THE GOOD SHEPHERD

This star-chart from Wikipedia, has Orion sketched in by the editor of this website. With the addition of a single star, Theta Geminorum (the left hand of the Castor twin of Gemini), the sickle in Orion, the Reaper’s hand (sketch to left), now extends the blade, thus transforming that sickle into the hook of a shepherd’s rod and staff. And so now this little Gemini star becomes the tip of Orion’s Shepherd’s rod & staff. Thus with this additional star, Orion the Reaper Constellation now becomes the 5th personality of Orion: The Good Shepherd (sketch below right). Theta Geminorum is a class A3, 4th magnitude star, which means it is much fainter than either of the stars, Castor or Pollux. But faint as This little star may be, it nevertheless presents a giant concept, turning Orion’s sickle into a shepherd’s rod. And this is a very wonderful and beautiful Bible truth: namely, that Jesus is the Good Shepherd, as is written…

Up until the mid-twentieth century, there was a steady and gradual downhill decline of morality and Christianity in the 1st world nations: the very nations which once enthusiastically embraced the Christian Reformation.

But with the advent of modern media, the decline began to become a rapidly descending slope!

And concerning the spiritual decline of those nations, let it also be said that there are many who have sought to understand the Book of Habakkuk over the past centuries.

But this was not possible, because the vision of Habakkuk had not yet been revealed. Habakkuk was written especially for our day.

And now, the vision of Habakkuk is finally able to speak to our current situation in the world.

And just what is today’s situation that makes the Book of Habakkuk relevant?

GOD’S PEOPLE SURROUNDED

Well, let’s listen to Habakkuk’s complaint to the Lord…”Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.” Habakkuk 1:4

.

Here is seen that the prophet is perplexed and distraught concerning the overwhelming flood of unbelievers which cause God’s people to “err in vision, and stumble in judgment” Isaiah 28:7

.

In other words, God’s people were surrounded by Chaldeans (Babylonians, i.e., the world). And this overwhelming influence was causing God’s people to lose their biblical sensibilities.

SWIFTER THAN LEOPARDS

Now today’s devotional is titled, “Television, Swifter Than Leopards!”

.

So what has happened that causes this title to be fulfilled?

.

Listen again to our signature passage for the day…“For, lo, I (the Lord) raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs…Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves…They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.” Habakkuk 1:6-9

.

Here is seen, howbeit in veiled allegorical language that in the last days, the Chaldeans (the unsaved multitudes of the world & worldly church) will come as swift as leopards to spoil God’s people!

Never before has such a thing been possible until our day. But with the advent of television, radio, and Internet, this is now all too possible!

Just think about it! By means of these modern-day high-tech inventions, a rapidly growing portion of the world can receive images almost instantaneously! Around the world!

And even in the third-world nations, television and Internet is now possible! Entire villages can now gather around a television or computer and watch well-trained and highly polished personalities telling them how to dress, what to eat, how to behave, what to believe in, and what to reject, who to love and who to hate!

TELEVISION: THE MODERN-DAY PIED PIPER!

Yes, by means of the modern-day pied-pipers, called television, radio, and Internet, the entire world is now under the control of these swifter-than-leopards devices.

SATAN THE TRUE ENEMY

And even though TV has been mass-produced by humanity, nevertheless, mankind is not the true villain here.

No, the Bible tells us…”For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand!” Ephesians 6:12, 13

Here is seen that it is not flesh-and-blood which is the enemy!

But it is the unseen spiritual forces which are orchestrating the events, the inventions, and the tides-of-change sweeping through the land, “swifter than leopards, and more fierce than the evening wolves”!

SATAN IN CONTROL LIKE NEVER BEFORE

Satan now has the ability to control the world like never before in history, via these high-tech inventions!

And let’s not forget that the Bible calls him, “‘The Prince of the Power of the Air’, that spirit that now works in the children of disobedience!” Ephesians 2:2

.

Satan is now gathering the world’s inhabitants to the great day of the Valley of Decision, via these devices! The world has its own form of godliness. Satan is now getting ready for the final showdown against the armies of Heaven!

And he can now marshal the peoples of the world in unison against the armies of Heaven and against the chosen and elect remnant of God!

HABAKKUK SAYS, “RUN!”

.

And so, just what is the solution to this seemingly impossible situation?

.

Well, the prophet Habakkuk says in Chapter 2…“And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:2, 3

.

Here we see that it is now time to “RUN!” Here it is seen that it is no more time to be planting, building, buying, selling, marrying (and divorcing)!

.

No, it is time for God’s sorely tried people to run to the safety and refuge in the appointed hiding place in the heavenly mountains which surround the “Jerusalem now…in bondage to sin” (see Galatians)

.

FLEE TELEVISION!

.

Well, obviously, the very first place to run for safety is from the presence of these unwholesome influences. 

.

But we are not to force others into submission to our will! 

.

And so, in the secret pavilion of God, the Believer can pray for his or her family, that they too may eventually come along on this end-time exodus out of this world.

.

Yes, as Habakkuk encourages, “but the just shall live by his faith. ” Habakkuk 2:4

.

And our faith will continually grow as we exercise great patience in waiting for our family’s salvation without attempting to force them into submission!

.

WIDE & NARROW GATES IN THE HEAVENS

As the opening verse says, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:13-14

So what are these two gates all about? And how can I choose the right door? Well, just read this article and these questions and more will be answered.

But before we explore these questions, let’s take a look at why these two sets of stars represent these two biblical gates.

.

HOW THE GATES RELATE TO ORION & DRAGON

.

.

This sketch below is when these constellations are in the eastern sky in early winter (However, this constellation group can even be seen as early as July, in the pre-dawn hours). In the eastern sky, it’s not so easily seen which gate the Revelation 12 Woman will enter. The Wide Gate is made of the two brightest stars of this Wave of Water Constellation. Satan spews out the deadly water of his false worldly ideologies; which many of these ideologies have a form of godliness, but in some way are not in harmony; or perhaps these worldly ideologies add to the Bible, which is strictly forbidden (see Deuteronomy 4:2).

On the other hand, the Strait Gate (narrow gate) is composed of the two brightest stars of the Orion The Reaper’s sickle. The true Strait Gate represents Jesus, the Word of God.

Listen… “I [Jesus] am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” John 10:9

Do you remember the story of the demon-possessed man who lived in the caves in the region of the Gadarenes, on the far side of the Sea of Galilee?

A DEMON-POSSESSED WORLD

Well, would you believe that this is the spiritual condition of the unsaved?

Oh no, most people do not live in caves, nor walk around naked, wearing chains.

Or do they?

.

You see, the Bible is a spiritual book.

And so, each detail of this story must be compared with similar details found elsewhere in the Bible before this story begins to truly makes sense.

TWO SPIRITS IN THE WORLD

But even without deciphering each little detail, it is manifest that every unsaved member of the human family has a spirit within.

.

And there are only two types of spirits in the world: the “Spirit of Christ” and the “spirit of Antichrist”.

.

Oh yes, there are a myriad of angels in the world, both good and evil.

But these countless spirits are either from one camp or from the other camp: some are of Heaven, and the rest are of the Hellish darkness of this lost world.

1st John speaks of these two spirits as, “spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.” 1st John 4:6

MANKIND: PRISONERS OF SATAN

But the Apostle, Paul commented regarding those who are prisoners of Satan…

“And that they (the unsaved) may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil,

who are taken captive by him at his will.”

2nd Timothy 2:26

Here we see that the unsaved of the world are prisoners and captives of Satan, “the god of this world” (see 2nd Corinthians 4:4)

We are the captives of one master or the other.

CHAINS OF DARKNESS

But once we able to decipher the spiritual, it becomes evident that these accounts are speaking of the people of the world.

For instance, this man with a legion was bound with chains.

.

Well, likewise, the Bible speaks of angels in chains…“He (God) hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.” Jude 1:6

.

So there are “chains of darkness” spoken of in Scripture.

PROUD PHARISEES POSSESSED BY 7 EVIL SPIRITS

And listen to this next quote by Jesus to Pharisees…

“When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man,

he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none…

Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself;

and they enter in, and dwell there:

and the last state of that man is worse than the first.”

You see, these proud Pharisees had “religious” devils working within!

So, what is the conclusion to all this?

Simple! There are many proud people in the world who think we are very moral, even religious!

But we are in just as much spiritual darkness and bondage to Satan as those who are held in slavish bondage to drugs, alcohol, and in any other form of debauchery!

And those of us who still sin are likewise held fast in our bonds of selfishness to a certain degree!

STILL TIME TO TURN!

Well, the very Good News is that today is still the day of Salvation!

.

And those who still have “an ear to hear”, can begin to cry out to God, and not cease to cry out until the day that God releases us from the hard bondage to, “the god of this world”

And as already mentioned, there is a wonderful prize just waiting for those who choose to begin the Heavenward journey!

.

Eternal life!

.

Eternal love!

.

And an everlasting joy in a world without the sickness and sorrow and wretchedness which pervades this current hopeless world of sin and selfishness!

.

And in that soon-coming Promised Land, we will be forever happy!

7 HEADS, 10 HORNS, & 7 CROWNS OF THE DRAGON

“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.” Revelation 12:3

In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.

However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not.

.

But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.

Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars.

.

The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7). 

And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10).

So we have this 7 and 10 numbering.

And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent.

Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).

For example, environmental enthusiasts now issue a yearly warning against the most toxic pesticide-laden fruits and vegetables which they term as “The Dirty Dozen fruits and vegetables”.

But there are also, “The Dirty Dozen Environmental Polluters”, and “The Dirty Dozen Bad Excuses”, and “The Dirty Dozen Mechanical Practices, etc…

Well, you get the idea.

So, let’s just relate this worldly tag to the Bible.

Maybe, just maybe, there could be a similar “Dirty Dozen” category for the most widely embraced false church doctrines.

Perhaps these false doctrines could be called, “The Devil’s Dirty Dozen Doctrines”.

FROM WHERE &TO WHERE DOES SHE FLEE? WOMAN ROTATES THROUGH THE SEASONS…

This page is about the Big Dipper, also called the Great Bear constellation (Ursa Major ). However, the ancient pagan cultures did not see this constellation as God intended it to be seen. It is actually a headless woman in childbirth.  This is seen in springtime. It is seen in the northern skies.

But as the seasons progress, this travailing woman flips upside down, now appearing as a woman with upraised arms like eagle wings who is running (eventually flying, as shown in sketch on right) into the wilderness (westward). The single star representing her birth-child (Christ) now becomes her head (“Christ is the head of the church.” Ephesians 5:23

The 7 Stars (Big Dipper) is easy to see with its very bright 7 stars. But the Revelation 12 Woman (Ursa Major) must be seen on a dark starry night, away from city lights.

NO SHORTAGE OF SOFT SERMONS!

But on the other hand, just consider for a moment all the nice pleasant sermons that are out there, being preached each week all over this society.

You don’t have to search very far to hear a nice encouraging sermon on family values, do you?

.

And don’t you constantly hear that “God is Love”, and that He has a wonderful plan for your life? (And let’s face it! Today’s church-world mostly likes to keep their “Eternal Torment” doctrine well-hidden, in the proverbial “back-closet”)

.

And you don’t have to search very long to hear a nice loving non-offensive sermon being preached on television or radio. No, those kinds of sermons are literally everywhere!

.

And there is no shortage of nice, flowery daily devotionals! You can even find those in secular book stores!

.

THE CHURCH IN A SAD STATE

.

And yet, where is the fruit of their harvest? Are these euphemistic and encouraging sermons and devotionals having a positive effect upon the Church? Are they causing the listening multitudes to turn from our selfish ways?

.

No, rather, statistics present a dismal picture of today’s Church.

.

Alcoholism, divorce, adultery, Bible illiteracy are at an all-time high in the church-world. Most Christian children attend public schooling. Even Christian academies have mingled much of the ways of the secular world into their daily activities. (And tragically, we are totally ignorant of the fact that back in the Reformation era, young school-children committed to memory, large portions of the Bible!)

.

As a result of all these things, young adult Christians are renouncing their faith at alarming rates! And many or perhaps most Christians are not warned by their leaders against embracing the amusements and ambitious pursuits of the world.

.

And churches do not properly warn parishioners to separate from freely mingling with unbelievers, to the poverty of their soul, in spite of the Bible warnings against this sinful practice!

CRITICISM, AN UNPLEASANT TASK

It’s never pleasant to have your particular sins pointed out. And no matter how this is accomplished, there will be hurt feelings.

Listen to Proverbs 15:10…“Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way:”

There’s just no nice way to offer correction to those who have fallen away from the Lord.

.

But hopefully, the one being criticized will eventually be humble enough and honest enough to respond to such criticism with meekness and repentance.

A ‘DON’T JUDGE ME’ WORLD, TODAY!

But today, we are living in a “Don’t Judge Me” world!

Mostly no one wants to be corrected, it seems!

“ITCHING EARS” GOSPELS TODAY

Listen to this prophecy concerning our present-day condition…“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2nd Timothy 4:3, 4

Today’s Christians living in the western nations (the very nations which once embraced the Christian Reformation), have now become greatly intolerant of the straight truths of the Bible.

“SPEAK SMOOTH THINGS!”

This intolerant condition is reminiscent of Isaiah’s and Jeremiah’s day in which the Lord complained…“this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:” Isaiah 30:9, 10

Yes, as it was back in Old Testament times, so it is today! Nothing has fundamentally changed from Old Testament times!

Most parishioners today still want a smooth sermon, and a nice soft and flowery devotional.

GOOD NEWS: TIME FOR REPENTANCE!

The very Good News is that there is a solution to all this!

Yes, God is calling His professed people to return to Him in deep repentance.

.

Listen to the New Testament Book of James…“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God…Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.” James 4:4, 8-10

.

Yes, this above passage offers the remedy for those who find themselves grieved whenever criticized.

.

Because, by returning to the Lord with deep humility and sorrow for sin, as this above passage commands, the Lord will hear, and heal our many backslidings, giving us His Holy Spirit of meekness, humility and on-going repentance!

From the beginning of spring to the end of winter, the constellations move slowly westward through the night-sky, offering a spectacular display of three sets of Bible constellations: the summer, fall and winter constellations!

Now one of the major Bible constellations of this Gospel-written-in-the-sky, is seen in Ursa Major, commonly referred to as, “The Great Bear”.

THE REVELATION 12 WOMAN

.

But this infamous constellation was originally created to portray a woman. In the spring and summer months she appears as a headless woman who is with-child. But as the seasons change, this constellation flips completely upside down, and now appears as a running woman. And the little star that represented her child-in-the-womb, now symbolizes her head. That is, this single little star, now positioned where this woman’s head should be, becomes representative of Christ, whom the Bible refers to as being, “the head of the body, the Church” Ephesians 5:23 & Colossians 1:18

And so, in the winter, she now appears as the fleeing woman of Revelation 12, fleeing westward.

GOD’S PEOPLE TO FLEE

Now, Matthew, Mark, and Luke each speak of a day in which God’s people are counseled to “flee to the mountains!”

.

Listen to Matthew’s prophecy…“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:” Matthew 24:15, 16

.

Now of course, this above passage is written in veiled, allegorical language.

.

And so, most people who look at it think it only speaks of those living in literal Jerusalem.

.

But that is why this above verse cautions, “Whoso reads, let him understand.”

.

HABAKKUK SAYS, “RUN!”

.

But the prophet, Habakkuk, also speaks of a time when God’s people are to flee.

.

Listen again…“And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:2, 3

.

Here again, this passage is concerning the last days: “the end”.

.

And so, Matthew 24, Mark 13 & Luke 17, along with Habakkuk 2:2 all counsel God’s people to, “FLEE!” at the end of days!

HOW CAN I KNOW FOR SURE?

Well, there are other similar passages.

But the question that must be asked is, “How can I know that God really wants ME to flee? And just where is it that I am supposed to flee to? After all, both passages are confusing, to say the least!”

Now here is where this marvelous sign in the heavens makes clear just where God wants His people to flee…

You see, Ursa Major is just one constellation among a number of Signs Of Heaven constellations.

One winter constellation is that of Orion. The other interactive constellation is that of the Revelation 12 Dragon. And one aspect which makes them interactive is that the two brightest stars in Orion’s Sickle, and the two brightest stars in the Dragon’s Wave of Water symbolize the Narrow Gate and the Broad Gate, as spoken of in Matthew 7:13, 14

Listen…“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:13, 14

.

And if this isn’t remarkable enough, the Revelation 12 Woman is running toward both, and yet is decidedly swerving toward the Narrow Gate!

NARROW GATE AND WIDE GATE CONSTELLATIONS WITH REVELATION 12 WOMAN: This is how these three constellations appear when just above the eastern horizon. The woman, however appears more in her upright “Fleeing” position than this sketch shows. It is somewhat of an optical illusion because of the “canopy effect” of the night sky. So it is impossible to sketch this on a flat surface. Nevertheless, this sketch shows this woman appearing to be drawn toward these two warriors; the Reaper, of course is Orion . The Dragon of Revelation 12 Constellation is not a commonly recognized constellation. His mouth is made of The Hyades Cluster of Taurus, and the tip of his tail is The Pleiades Cluster. The two bright stars on Orion The Reaper’s sickle is the Narrow Gate. And the two bright stars of the Dragon’s wave of water is the Wide Gate. When in the eastern sky it is not so clear as to which Gate she will enter. Woman is commonly known as Ursa Major (or the Great Bear or The Big Dipper)

CRITICS & SKEPTICS NEED NOT APPLY

And so, God has created this marvelous and unbelievable constellation group to show where He wants His people to flee: to the Narrow Gate!

.

But there are many skeptics and critics in today’s world. And to see this great phenomenon in the sky probably requires more time, effort, and fervent prayer than most are willing to devote themselves to. And let’s face it, skeptics are NOT normally given to true child-like faith, which is another necessary ingredient to being a truth-seeker.

.

But those who are indeed truth-seekers will be delighted to spend the time and effort necessary to “search the scriptures daily” (and the heavens nightly), to see, “whether those things were so.” (see Acts 17:11)

.

THE BIBLE ALREADY REVEALS THESE THINGS

.

And anyway, these signs are only revealing truths which the Bible already reveals. And so, even a blind person can prove all this by merely hearing God’s Word on audio.

.

Therefore, these, “signs in the sun, moon, and stars”, are an added blessing, merely putting an exclamation mark on what the Bible already says!

SATAN NOW MARSHALS HIS HELLISH HOST

.

But the bottom line is, as we see Satan marshaling his Antichrist world forces together, in effort to make life impossible for Christians, it is becoming more and more evident just how we can escape all these things: by fleeing into that Narrow Gate which leads to life!

.

And God is allowing all this to drive His people into the Narrow Gate, for safety!

.

IDOLS WON’T FIT THROUGH NARROW GATE!

.

And this heavenly sign lets us know for a certainty that we must cast away all our earthly idols, “to the moles and to the bats, to go into the clefts of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth.” Isaiah 2:20, 21

.

Yes, all those earthly idols belong over in the Broad Way, and will not fit through the Narrow Gate.

.

But those who are willing to forsake all, will fit through that Narrow Gate, only to find a safe refuge and a peaceful hiding place from the approaching storm!

FROM WHERE & TO WHERE DOES SHE FLEE?

WOMAN ROTATES THROUGH THE SEASONS…

This page is about the Big Dipper, also called the Great Bear constellation (Ursa Major ). However, the ancient pagan cultures did not see this constellation as God intended it to be seen. It is actually a headless woman in childbirth. This is seen in springtime. It is seen in the northern skies.

.

But as the seasons progress, this travailing woman flips upside down, now appearing as a woman with upraised arms like eagle wings who is running (eventually flying, as shown in sketch on right) into the wilderness (westward). The single star representing her birth-child (Christ) now becomes her head (“Christ is the head of the church.” Ephesians 5:23

.

The 7 Stars (Big Dipper) is easy to see with its very bright 7 stars. But the Revelation 12 Woman (Ursa Major) must be seen on a dark starry night, away from city lights.
