Come Out of Her, My People! Part ?: “Tell-Tale Signs of Satan’s Presence in the Churches”

“For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.” 2nd Corinthians 11:4

CITY OF CONFUSION

.

Babylon was given its name during the building of that infamous Tower of Babylon, because God confused their speech…

.

Listen… “Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.” Genesis 11:9

.

And so, the name, Babylon, actually means, “City of Confusion”.

“COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE”

Revelation 18:4

.

The call is now going out to anyone who will listen… “Babylon is fallen is fallen…Come out of her My people, that ye partake not of her sins, and receive not of her plagues” Revelation 18:1, 4

.

Yes, the time is come for God’s people to make our Exodus out of the “City of Confusion”, the various Christian organizations. And this is a literal Exodus! And yet, before we can completely come of her, we must come out of her in our minds. In other words, we still have great confusion about what is truth and what is merely the wine of her false doctrines, that we have been drinking for so many years.

Now, the subject today is this: “what are the tell-tale signs of Satan’s presence in today’s churches?”

Unfortunately, we cannot see evil angels. But we can only see their long trail of woe and misery.

But the Bible says…When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:” Matthew

So here is some veiled language which warns God’s people to flee to the mountains when we see the abomination of desolation standing in the Holy Place.

But how can we see evil angels? And how can we see their leader, the Devil?

Well, again, there will be tell-tale signs in the Holy Place, that is, in today’s churches.

The problem is, statistics show that most church-goers know very little about the Bible. For instance, a survey found that a great percentage of Christians actually believe that “God helps those, who help themselves”, is a verse from the Bible. And very few Christians can recite the Ten Commandments, much less recite them in order!

And so, with this great ignorance (which itself, is one sign that Satan has entered already) of the Bible makes it that much more difficult to discern the presence of Satan in the Holy Place, the churches!

If only God’s people could study to comprehend what is the standard of conduct for the Church, as seen in the early Church, as revealed in the Book of Acts. If only God’s people fully understood the standard by which the individual Christian is to live, as reveal by the role-models, Jesus, Paul, and even the Apostle, John!

You see, God gave us these role-models (the early Church, Jesus, Paul, John) as the standard by which we are to live in this present world.

But to a great extent, today’s church-world has lost sight of this standard. And so this great ignorance has created an open door for Satan and his fellow soldiers to come in and take over, bringing in various abominations into today’s churches.

This is why we see all sorts of non-biblical “trash” in today’s church-world!

And just what is some of this so-called trash?

Well, for one thing, perhaps the most insidiously evil which has crept in unawares is all the non-biblical terminology which has perverted true biblical doctrines. Such unbiblical names, which God did not name, as the so-called “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”, or the so-called, “Trinity”, which should be properly referred to as, “The Godhead”.

You see, the Bible warns Christians not to add to, or diminish ought from His infallible Word! And it is the spirit of presumptuousness that causes Christians to invent and accept such ignorant and ungodly terminology as if God is pleased with these man-concocted names!

Another abomination in most churches today is the giddy foolish talk and jesting which is heard in both the pulpit and pews! The Bible warns us to be reverent and holy. But the Christian community is more interested in imitating the world than they are in imitating Christ!

And so in addition to The Pleiades appearing as the Harlot Mother, we also see this second depiction of The Pleiades as an angel, which symbolizes God’s people, walking the downward pathway to destruction. They must be called out of Babylon before it’s too late!

SOME REFUSE TO COME OUT OF BABYLON

Having said all this, there are many who realize that the churches have become apostate, and yet still believe they must continue to attend.

.

One of the most common sentiments among churchgoers is the following statement…“Oh, my church has nice children’s programs, so I have to still continue there!”

.

Or perhaps this next excuse is commonly heard…“Oh my entire family attends and cannot get along without me there.”

.

But the question one must ask, is this…“What good does it to attend church, if the Holy Spirit has been removed, and Satan has moved in to replace Him?”

“A FORM OF GODLINESS”

2nd Timothy 3:5

.

Listen…“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only He who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed…whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,” 2nd Thessalonians 2:7-9

.

So, this above passage reveals that Satan will work in the churches with, “all power and signs and lying wonders,”

And so again, the question must be answered, “What possible good can be accomplished, by attending a presentation conducted by that “angel of light” impostor, Satan?”

GOD CANNOT BLESS

.

The answer to this question is found by answering this next question…“Why in the world would God ever bless the workings of this great Deceiver, Satan!?! If God would bestow spiritual (and physical) blessings on all those who remain in the apostate churches, He then would be a partaker of Satan’s sins, as well as being a partaker of the sins of His disobedient people, wouldn’t He?”

But not only does God refuse to bless those who refuse to come out of Babylon, the churches, but just the opposite is true…“Come out of her (Babylon), My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4

.

As this above verse warns, all those who refuse to come out of the harlot churches, will be subject to her sins, and recipients of her plagues!

A WORLDLY SPIRIT

.

When starting church, new parishioners soon become filled with a worldly spirit, soon partaking of the same folly as the older members in that church.

.

“They (antichrists) are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.” 1st John 4:5

.

This above verse reveals that the spirit of Antichrist is merely a worldly-minded spirit!

.

MANY OTHER REASONS

.

Now, this devotional has only touched on just one particular aspect, as to why it is imperative to, “Come out of her (the Harlot, Babylon), My people!” Revelation 18:4.

.

But this website is filled with many other reasons why we cannot miss out on the end-time exodus, which is now occurring out of the fallen churches.

FLEE TO MOUNT SION

And so, it is no wonder that God refers to today’s church-world as Mystery Babylon. It is filled with error and confusion.

And God is now calling His people to come out of this City of Confusion, and flee to the spiritual Mount Sion, to take their stand with all those who, “follow the Lamb withersoever He goeth.” Revelation 14:4

“HOW TO RAISE UP GOOD LITTLE BABYLONIANS”

**In a moment of unchristian sarcasm, one might write a devotional, titled, “How To Raise Up Good Little Babylonians”.**

.

And it would not be very difficult to write such a satirical article.

.

All one would have to do is to observe how Christian parents are currently raising their children.

.

MARRY A HALF-HEARTED CHRISTIAN? “

2nd Corinthians 6:14 says, “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers…”

.

For instance, many church-going singles end up marrying a spouse who has little love for the Bible and even less desire to follow the counsels therein!

.

And so, many young couples start off in life with less-than-optimal conditions for raising God-loving children.

.

Because invariably, the nominal Christian spouse will want as much of this selfish world as possible, thus bringing up children who will likewise love this Babylonian world!

.

SEND THEM TO SECULAR SCHOOLS

.

Another key ingredient to raising up little Babylonians can be observed by the incredibly high percent of Christian children who attend public schools.

.

These schools have been greatly turned into indoctrination centers in which children are filled up with worldly ideals and philosophies: atheism, perverted lifestyles, books on witchcraft, etc., socialism, eastern religions, and other similar ideologies are beginning to be freely taught to Christian children in today’s public schools.

(And now even racism is the lens which many schools teach through!)

.

Oh yes, there may be many fine and dedicated teachers.

.

But “the god of this world”, Satan is not derelict in his tireless efforts to wipe away every trace of love for the Bible out of the hearts of Christian children! Thus, our children end up graduating with a doctorate degree in, “The Ways and Wares of Babylon, the World!”

.

QUASI-CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS

.

And even those few parents who can afford to send their children to a private Christian school, will be dismayed to find that most Christian schools have integrated many worldly elements into those Christian schools. And even if they wanted to keep it Christian, the secular government (and societal peer-pressure) is demanding more and more secular requirements, leaving little time in the school-day for Bible study.

.

But most Christian schools do not need any encouragement to adopt the ways and wares of Babylon. Quite often, these schools compete with secular schools in sports, some even having cheerleaders.

.

Now for the secular schools, there may be nothing wrong with all this, considering that the dust of this earth will be their eternal resting-place.

.

But God has called Christians out of the world, to walk in the ways of Heaven. And so, for these Christian schools to allow and even promote secular music, sensual dancing, secular conversation, and secular lifestyles, as a means of “staying relevant”, only further indoctrinates young people into a secular mind-set.

WATCH TELEVISION

.

Now, if all this is not bad enough, young children come home from this quasi-Christian education, to find the parents watching television.

.

A recent Barna Group survey found that “active Christians who attend church each week” watch over 3 hours of television per day! Now just imagine if those same parents spent those 3 hours studying their Bibles each day! Then there would be no need for scathing devotionals to be written! We would have a Church full of Apostle Pauls!

.

But instead, we have a Church which Christ says, “I will spew the out of My mouth!” Revelation 3:16

.

MINGLING WITH UNBELIEVERS

.

Now, the next ingredient, which is commonly found in Christianity today, is for parents to let their children play with secular children after school. Talk about getting a street education!

.

Listen to Paul…“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,” 2nd Corinthians 6:14, 17

.

As this above passage promises, by separating ourselves from unbelievers, God will begin to treat us as His children!

“The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.”

1st Corinthians 15:56

.

Another tragic mistake made by many parents, is to treat sin with casual and cavalier lightness.

.

For example, the parent might say with a chuckle, “Now Johnny, we don’t want to be telling fibs, now do we?”. Such flippant and apathetic responses to a child’s sins, only deadens their little consciences to the horrific nature of sin, thus unfitting them for Heaven.

.

Listen to Paul…“…that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.” Romans 7:13

.

Of course, the root of the problem is, the parents, themselves, have blunted consciences, and so they naturally treat sin with slightness, not only in their own lives, but also in their children’s lives!

.

Such a modern-day tragedy!

There is a way to admonish children in a gentle and loving, yet serious tone, which godly parents will strive to always achieve and maintain.

“And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord”

Ephesians 6:4

.

An integral part of counteracting the overflowing tide of evil in this fallen world, is for parents to make every effort to reflect the loving ways of Jesus to our children. In simpler terms, we must make sure to live with our family in such a way as to show them that Heaven is a place of joy!

.

And the parents need to show much heavenly love for our children. Whether engaging them in their little games and sports, or hugging them often, or just making life in the home nice and breezy.

.

This is an integral part of what it means to “bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord”

.

The Christian parents must, kindly, patiently, and gently, guide our children through their childhood in such a way which will cause them to desire, yes, even yearn, to walk side-by-side with us along the joy-filled highways and byways of eternity-future!

(Of course, Satan & his evil-angels will try their best to somehow disrupt the Christian household.)

“COME OUT OF HER (HARLOT BABYLON) MY PEOPLE!”

The Good News in all this bad news, is just this: God is now calling His people to come out of Babylon, the world, and Babylon, the tragically fallen church-world! Yes, Babylon is twice fallen: the world and sadly, the worldly churches fulfill the two-fold Divine sentence, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen!” Revelation 18:2

.

Therefore, to come out of the world-system, as far as possible is not optional, but is mandated by God, at the threat, “that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues!” Revelation 18:4

.

And so, the great underlying message of Revelation 18 is that God does not want His faithful people to share any further in the corrupting influences and spiritual bankruptcy of today’s churches.

BREAD OF LIFE AND LIVING WATERS

.

But the really great news is, that God has spread a table in the wilderness for His people…“And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.” Isaiah 30:25

.

Here is a wonderful promise, howbeit, veiled in allegorical language, that there will be an abundance of living waters for those Christians who are escaped from Babylonian captivity! And these High Mountains and hills which Isaiah 30:25 speaks of, are actually the separated life which God wants His people to enjoy, as they hide in God’s secret pavilion, the Bible.

.

And as Christian parents separate themselves from our worldly connections and begin to live out the pure uncompromising Christlike life, our children will begin to make a distinction between, “those who serve God, and those who serve Him not!” (See Malachi 3:18, for exact quote.)

“COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE”

The call is now going out to anyone who will listen… “Babylon is fallen is fallen…Come out of her My people, that ye partake not of her sins, and receive not of her plagues” Revelation 18:1, 4

**Yes, the time is come for God’s people to make our Exodus out of the “City of Confusion”, the various Christian organizations. And this is a literal Exodus!**

There is a general consensus in today’s Christian community, which says… “Oh we LOVE the Bible! And my church teaches right out of it every week! Nothing else, but the Bible!”

Well, this testimony is very commonly heard today, echoing through the halls of Christendom.

GREAT IGNORANCE TODAY!

But while churchgoers say these things, statistics show that just the opposite is true!

**For instance, surveys reveal that the phrase, “God loves those who help themselves” is commonly thought to be a verse from the Bible, by many current-day churchgoers.**

‘SOLA SCRIPTURA’ HYPOCRITES US?

And if we really believe that popular mantra, “Sola Scriptura”, then why do we waste so much of our day watching and listening to secular entertainment and political talk shows? After all, Jesus spoke through the man, Job, saying, “I have esteemed the words of His (God’s) mouth more than my necessary food.”

.

Yes, not only were these the sentiments of Job, but also of Jeremiah, Paul, and most all other Bible heroes.

.

It is reported that during his years as a theologian, Martin Luther even loathed the minutes he had to put down his Bible, to eat his meals!

.

But today, the Devil has flooded this society with so many intriguing pastimes, all in hopes of diverting us from spending hours studying and contemplating God’s Word, the Bible!

.

**So then, how can we boast that old mantra, “Sola Scriptura”, and at the same time, entangle and pollute our hearts with the words and affairs of unsaved men, via these high-tech devices? So sad!**

IGNORING UNPOPULAR TRUTHS

The fact is, there are many passages in the Bible which are very unpopular truths!

And these unpopular truths are often ignored or rejected altogether.

MOST IGNORED BIBLE PASSAGE

For instance, the Apostle Paul said… “For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.” 1st Timothy 6:7, 8

Now really! Just how much of today’s churches teach this very inconvenient truth? Well, this passage might get a brief mention every now and then.

But the sad fact is, that it is perhaps one of the most ignored of all New Testament passages! And it is not urged upon the parishioners, in a day in which a great portion of the Church is enthusiastically pursuing earthly Mammon!

THE CHURCH GLORIFIED

The end of all things is at hand. God is wanting to show off His precious jewels for all the universe to behold! But for the most part, today’s churches are content with the low level of piety, and the high level of worldliness now maintained by the congregation.

And so, God is now calling His people to, “Come out from among them, and be separate!” 2nd Corinthians 6:17

GOD’S JEWELS

We are in that Day in which God will make up His precious jewels for all heaven and earth to behold! Listen…“And they shall be Mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that Day when I make up My jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth His own son that serveth Him.” Malachi 3:17

Yes, God knows just who are truly His. And the Day of separation of the wheat and tares is now here!

But those who profess to love the Bible, and yet have spurned the many unpopular truths which require self-sacrifice, will likewise not hear this message to, ‘come out of her, My people’!

And those who loved the pursuit of worldly treasures and earthly pleasures, to the neglect of their own soul’s Salvation may have to sadly take their stand with the apostate churches in these last days!

THOSE WITH EARS TO HEAR

But those who rejoice whenever they can give up some little cherished idol, for the sake of becoming more like Jesus, will joyfully hear this message and, “Come out of her, My people!” And those who truly love the Bible, even though it says many things which require them to trade away this present world, will gladly hear this clarion call!

.

And God’s true Church will shine like the brightness of the Sun, in that Day. And they will shine with the brightness of Jesus to a world that has rebelled against God’s Word!

And so, let us each begin to use the remaining time on earth, to beg for the grace to joyfully and enthusiastically pursue our Salvation as the precious jewel that it truly is!

GOD’S PEOPLE TAKEN CAPTIVE

God has a people in Babylon. Yes, Mystery Babylon is the Mother of Harlots. The sketch to the left shows her riding this beast with 7 heads and 10 horns.

But in that spiritual city, there are those who still love God to a certain degree. And before the final plagues are poured out upon her, God has been and will continue to call His people out of her… “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her (Babylon), my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4

And so in addition to The Pleiades appearing as the Harlot Mother, we also see this second depiction of The Pleiades as an angel, which symbolizes God’s people, walking the downward pathway to destruction. They must be called out of Babylon before it’s too late!

In Every Thing Give Thanks!?!

Part 6:

“Though He Slay Me, Yet I Will Trust Him”

“In every thing give thanks:

for this is the will of God

in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

1st Thessalonians 5:18

In the Book of Job (pronounced with a long, “o”), the Devil had brought Job down to a wretched condition in hopes of getting Job to curse God.

.

But though Job’s trials were far greater than most of us have had to endure, Job remained faithful to God, exclaiming the following…“Though He (God) slay me, yet will I trust in Him:” Job 13:15

.

Though this above verse is only ten words, it has been a giant encouragement to many thousands, through the ages, who have had to endure painful illnesses and sufferings as they could just narrowly cling to their faith and to their trust in God!

GOD’S ETERNAL PURPOSE

.

So very often, we Christians make plans and have dreams about the future in this world. And God will often give us times of rest, refreshment, and enjoyment.

.

But we must keep in mind that the great purpose of God is to crucify the Old Man within. And so, when at various times, our plans and dreams seem to go awry, we must keep in mind that God is allowing us to suffer for our own good!

.

In Genesis, God revealed to the disobedient pair…“cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread,” Genesis 3:17-19

.

God pronounced the curse on Mankind for the ultimate benefit of Mankind. Because it is through disappointment and even through tragedy that Mankind seeks to return to God.

PARABLE OF THE PRODIGAL SON

.

In that well-known parable In Luke 15:11-32, it tells of a wayward son who only returned back to his father’s house when all his other options ran out!

And only in his misery and affliction was he inspired to go back and become an obedient son.

PROSPERITY GOSPEL MISSES POINT

.

Today’s so-called “Prosperity Gospel” that has enveloped the Christian community completely misses the point of what God’s purpose is for His people!

.

God is not desiring for us to have a nice and peaceful cornucopian dream-life. Just the opposite, God is crucifying our “Old Man” of the flesh! And God will work through the various events and circumstances of our life to accomplish His eternal purpose within us.

.

STOP TRUSTING MY OWN SELF

.

And so, we must ultimately come to the point that we no longer try to muscle our way through life according to our own understanding!

.

Listen to the Wise Man, Solomon…“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil…” Proverbs 3:5-7

.

Here is a passage which is worthy of memorization, since it presents a concept which flies in the face of conventional wisdom! We must learn to walk by faith and not lean on our own human wisdom. And this is so contrary to our former way of thinking! Yes, it is opposed to the ways in which we once handled the affairs of life, prior to our Salvation!

THE GREAT TIME OF TROUBLE, NOW!

.

If you or I have been called to become warriors in God’s Army, then we need to get this notion out of our head, of living a life of peace and prosperity.

.

Oh yes, we can have perfect peace. But that perfect peace may be ours while standing in the fiery furnace of afflictions!

.

Because, as never before in history, God is working through each of His Elect and Chosen ones to cause each Christian to, “purify himself, even as He (Christ) is pure”! (1st John 3:3)

.

And He is molding us into Christ’s image, so that we will “walk, even as He (Jesus) walked”! (1st John 2:6)

.

PAUL’S ATTITUDE ON SUFFERING

.

And if our chastening comes in the form of great illness, we must ask for the grace to have the same degree of faith that Paul had…“Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” 2nd Corinthians 12:10

.

Wow! What an attitude! Paul actually took pleasure in his own infirmities! But Paul had nothing that we cannot also obtain. And we must plead for this same unwavering faith, so that we also might take pleasure in our own personal infirmities, knowing it is for both our temporal and eternal benefit!

But what possible good does it do to suffer?

JESUS LEARNED OBEDIENCE BY SUFFERING

Listen to Paul’s commentary of Jesus’ suffering…“Though He (Jesus) were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered;” Hebrews 5:8

And so, Jesus learned obedience through suffering!

.

PARTAKING OF CHRIST’S SUFFERING

Now listen to Peter’s commentary on our own suffering… “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.” 1st Peter 4:12, 13

.

So here we see that our present suffering will be for our future glory and joy!

OUR LIGHT AFFLICTION?

.

And finally, listen to Paul’s encouragement concerning our present sufferings…“For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2nd Corinthians 4:16-18

.

So here is another passage worthy of memorization! God calls our afflictions, “light”. Oh yes, they are terrible! But compared to what they will joyfully accomplish throughout eternity, they are light by comparison!

KEEPING OUR EYES UPON JESUS

And so, the whole trick to having perfect peace in the midst of life’s storms is found in Isaiah 26:3…“Thou (God) wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because He trusteth in Thee.”

Here is the great goal of the life of every true worshiper of God: to keep our mind fixed on Jesus! This is the only way to have perfect peace, whether in times of calm, or in times of storm!

.

Perfect peace! What an incentive to continue on in the way of the Lord! Perfect peace! Even in our infirmities and afflictions and sufferings…“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7

I didn’t understand all that Ephesians 6 was talking about. “What does it mean to put on ‘the breast plate of righteousness'”? This was very puzzling to me… “How does a person just put something like that on?” This was a concept above my comprehension.

***“And how does a person ‘put on the helmet of salvation'”,* I thought to myself… *“especially while Satan is condemning and accusing every moment?”***

“And how do you put on the shoes, with the gospel of peace’?” I couldn’t understand these concepts. I was too new in the faith.

ONE CONCEPT THAT DID MAKE SENSE…

.

But there was one thing I could understand. I knew what it meant to take the “sword of the spirit, which is the word of God”. Now that I got! Read the Bible! That’s a simple concept! Yeah!

.

Today’s Bible teachers and theologians try their best to deny and cover up the fact that historical records give Cyrus I. Scofield credit for popularizing this false doctrine of the “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”, first invented by another 19th-century false Bible teacher, one John Darby of The Plymouth Brethren cult.

Today’s Bible teachers/theologians would love you to believe that the name “The Rapture” is the proper biblical name for Christ’s Return. But the fact is, in the New Testament centuries prior to these two men, the God-given, biblical name, “The Coming of the Lord” was correctly used. (Study prayerfully/carefully, 1st Thessalonians, 4:15-17)

“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed”

The host of a popular radio Bible call-in question talk show, was asked the following question: “When it says that the Lord shall return “at the last trumpet”, how can this possibly be speaking of a so-called Pre-Tribulation Rapture? After all, there are 7 trumpets way back in Revelation, Chapter 11…

.

But even more than that, there is a “great trumpet” which Christ blows on the “Last Day” in Matthew 24:31? Obviously, that trumpet has to be the very last trumpet ever to be blown!”

(John 6:39, 40, 44, 54 all speak of the resurrection happening on “the Last Day”)

WHEN DOES THE LAST TRUMPET SOUND?

.

Listen to the Scripture verse concerning the last trumpet of Revelation 11:15…“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in Heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever.” Revelation 11:15

.

Now this trumpet of the seventh angel in Revelation 11:15, is the very last trumpet mentioned in Revelation.

.

And the language in this above verse sounds as if it is speaking of Christ’s Return.

THE LAST TRUMPET OF MATTHEW 24:31

.

Now, even if the seventh trumpet in Revelation 11 is not the very last trumpet, the trumpet which Christ blows in Matthew 24 is definitely the last trumpet!

.

Listen…“Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And HE SHALL SEND HIS ANGELS WITH A GREAT SOUND OF A TRUMPET, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Matthew 24:29-31

.

This is speaking of Christ’s return “AFTER the tribulation of those days”!

.

**But those who insist on a so-called “Pre-Tribulation Rapture” must do amazing gymnastics in attempt to wrestle that trumpet out of Christ’s hand which He blows on “the last day”.**

(John 6:39, 40, 44, 54 all speak of the resurrection happening on “the Last Day”)

.

GOING TO OUTSIDE SOURCES

.

Well, the radio talk-show host explained that according to history books, there were “other trumpets” which were blown at different times.

.

Now, do you see what just happened here? This talk-show host, who constantly affirms his faith in, “the Bible only”, and in the infallibility of the Bible, just went to outside historical secular sources to find “another set of trumpets”.

.

In other words, in order to maintain his Pre-Tribulation Rapture doctrine, he had to set aside his so-called, “Bible-only” mantra, and reach for his history books to cite some secular author on the subject!

.

Incredible?

.

Yes, very incredible!

.

And a false and heretical teaching, as well!

.

THOU SHALT NOT ADD!

You see, the Bible is its own interpreter. There is never any need to go outside and beyond what the Bible says, to interpret God’s Word. As a matter of fact, Scripture warns against adding anything to His Word… “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:” Revelation 22:18

.

And so, from this above warning, it is seen that this radio talk show host was adding to God’s Word, in order to cling to his Pre-Tribulation Rapture theory.

.

He had to find another set of trumpets. Otherwise, he would be forced to admit that the last trumpet is mentioned in Revelation 11, thereby disproving the so-called church-doctrine, the so-called “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”.

.

STAY WITH SCRIPTURE ALONE!

.

And so, today’s devotional is an encouragement to simply stay with God’s holy Book, and not go beyond, in attempt to justify some church-doctrine!

Carry a little pocket Bible in your back pocket and read it whenever you have a spare moment!

There is an old saying in Christendom, which goes something like this…“If you lived on a deserted island, and a King James Bible washed ashore, would you be able to prove your favorite church-doctrines?”

.

Well, this analogy has a certain amount of merit. After all, there are many different church-doctrines blowing in the wind these days!

.

And so, it might be well for the Christian to begin to examine the Bible with fresh eyes!

.

You know! As if we were on a deserted island!

.

Without any pre-conceived notions about the Bible!

.

Without having any previous theological baggage!

.

You know! Free from all that dogma which they put on us, the moment we began attending church!

.

So, let’s just think of ourselves as Deserted Island Theologians…

.

T.U.L.I.P.

.

Perhaps it was the Dutch Reformed Church who decided to take John Calvin’s interpretations on the nature of grace, as it applies to Salvation, and came up with the acronym, “T.U.L.I.P.”.

.

Yes, this clever little acronym stands for the so-called “5 points of Calvinism”:

Total depravity,

Unconditional Election,

Limited Atonement,

Irresistible Grace,

Perseverance of the Saints (also known as, Once Saved Always Saved)

.

MANY ZEALOUS ADHERENTS

.

Now these so-called, 5 points of Calvinism are embraced by a somewhat lesser segment of today’s Church-community.

.

Nevertheless, many of these adherents could be called, “zealots for the cause”, since they are always willing to defend this church-doctrine, sometimes even to the point of a verbal knock-down-drag-out debate, in its defense!

.

LIMITED ATONEMENT?

.

But while four of these tenets seem reasonable, the 3rd point, “Limited Atonement”, just doesn’t seem to square up with Scripture.

.

Oh yes, 1: Total Depravity of humanity,

2: Unconditional Election,

4: Irresistible Grace, and

5: Perseverance of the Saints, all seem to be very clearly taught in Scripture.

.

**But this idea of 3: Limited Atonement is another story!**

.

Because, as we all know, that Jesus spoke of the universality of His Atonement to Nicodemus… “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16, 17

.

So, here it says that Christ died for the world. But what it doesn’t say, is that Christ died for only His Elect, Chosen ones.

.

So just how did Calvin arrive at the idea that He merely died for only SOME of the world?

LEANING ON OUR OWN UNDERSTAND

.

Well, those who have studied Calvin, reveal that his doctrine of Limited Atonement is based on human reasoning.

.

**And what was that human reasoning, which caused Calvin (an otherwise great theologian) to formulate this church-doctrine of Limited Atonement?**

.

CROSS NOT FOR ALL?

.

Well, it was Calvin’s realization that if Christ indeed paid for all the sins of each and every human, then their sins were paid for!

.

In other words, if a man’s sins were atoned for by Christ’s blood shed on the Cross, then those sins were nailed to the Cross.

.

And thus, Calvin continued his reasoning, that if the greater portion of Mankind will spend eternity in Hell for their sins, then how could their sins be paid for? “That just doesn’t make sense!”, or so Calvin surmised!

BY HUMAN LOGIC, IT MAKES SENSE!

.

Well, all Calvin’s human reasoning seems to make a whole lot of sense! After all, if Christ died for my sins, then all my sins have indeed been paid for!

.

The problem with all this is, Calvin needed to refrain from using human reasoning to come up with a church-doctrine! All truth must be based on Scripture and Scripture only!

.

NOT SUBSTANTIATED BY SCRIPTURE

.

Now, this website has no disagreement with Calvin’s conclusion that if Christ died for ALL mankind, then their sins must ALL have been paid for. No argument with that!

.

But to then conclude that Christ could not have died for each and every human is going too far. Well, if Calvin could have found a Bible verse or two which clearly supports Limited Atonement, then he would have had some biblical grounds for his conclusion.

“WE KNOW IN PART & PROPHESY IN PART”

1st Corinthians 13:9

.

What Calvin neglected to realize is, that God is infinite, and His Word is likewise infinite! And while Calvin was a very intelligent guy, he was by no means as smart as God! Nor did Calvin understand everything in Scripture!

.

Thus, Calvin, an otherwise great theologian, attempted to nail down a church-doctrine, not understanding that this seeming contradiction might just have an answer beyond our present human understanding!

.

Or, perhaps, Calvin was not aware of a yet undiscovered Bible truth, which answers this great and perplexing conundrum!

CALVIN, A GREAT THEOLOGIAN

Well, let’s not be too hard on Calvin. Word has it that he was a great theologian in many respects.

.

And his reasoning that if Christ indeed died for all mankind, then all mankind has had their sins paid for, is worthy of our consideration. And so, let’s not, ‘throw out’, the proverbial, ‘baby with the bath-water!’

.

“CALVINISM”: AN ARMENIAN’S “STRAW-MAN” & “SCARLET-LETTER”!

.

Now, at the other end of theological fanaticism are those who are followers of Jacobus Arminius, who ardently taught the false church-doctrine known as “Free-will Salvation”!

.

And this popular notion, that God looked down through the corridors of time, and saw all those who would choose to follow Jesus, thus saving them, is widely taught today!

.

And as a cudgel, they will hang the Scarlet-letter, “C” around the necks of anyone who believes in predestination, even though most do not believe in “Limited Atonement”, nor have ever read Calvin’s writings. “Oh, so you’re a Calvinist?”, they will say!

.

And so, as a retaliation, many who believe in Predestination will fire back, “Oh, so you’re an Armenian?”

.

And on and on this 400+ year debate has continued!

MATTERS TOO GREAT!

.

But let’s just be meek and humble enough to admit that we don’t quite understand everything in the Bible! Doesn’t that sound reasonable?

After all, even the great David confessed…“LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me. Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.” Psalm 131:1, 2

.

And so, if David was content to refrain from matters too high for his understanding, how much more should we be willing to do the same?

JUDGMENT DAY WILL ANSWER

One thing is for certain, on the soon-coming Day when we will all be standing before the Throne of the Almighty Judge, all our questions will then be answered! So, in the meanwhile, let’s just behave and quiet ourselves, even as a little child!

Perhaps this last verse really sums up this little discussion…“The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Deuteronomy 29:29

HEAVENLY OBJECT LESSON

“Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.” Isaiah 24:23

When God created the Moon and the stars, He ordained them to “rule the night” (Gen. 1:16). The Moon, especially when it is full, can light your pathway through the night, as it reflects the light of the Sun.

So too, the Christian is to be a light to the world: to this sin-darkened world. But as the Moon must reflect the light of the Sun, in order to be a light to the world, so also must the Christian reflect the light of Jesus, to be a spiritual light to this planet in rebellion. Listen…

“Ye are the light of the world…Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

.

However, during an eclipse, the Earth passes directly between the Sun and the Moon, preventing that sunlight from shining on the Moon’s face. This is an incredible object-lesson about when the child of God allows the world to come between him and his Lord. Like the eclipse, that person no longer reflects the light of Jesus, because his or her love of this dark world of sin has eclipsed the light from the “Sun of Righteousness” (see Malachi 4:2).

Come Out of Her, My People!

Part 38:

“Up Into The Promised Land! (When Jesus Steps Into The Boat!)”

In the 6th Chapter of the Book of John is a little account of the night when the Disciples of Jesus were in a little ship by themselves, on the dark stormy waters.

.

And a strong wind blew, causing the sea to arise. And it was dark.

.

But as they rowed, “they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.” John 6:19

.

But Jesus said unto them, “It is I; be not afraid. Then they willingly received Him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.” John 6:20, 21

.

A GREAT PROPHECY FOR TODAY!

.

Now, why even bring this little historical account to mind?

.

Because the Bible is a prophetic book, written by God, to give comfort and knowledge to His faithful remnant!

.

And this true story is also a prophecy which has great implications for God’s people today!

ALL ABOUT GOD’S ELECT TODAY!

.

**Now the Church-Elect (God’s true worshipers), are likewise in a ship on the stormy sea!**

.

Well, aren’t we? Are we not trying to get to the other side? To reach the Promised Land?

.

Well, just listen to Psalm 107…“For He (God) commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up the waves thereof…their soul is melted because of trouble…Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and He brings them out of their distresses…Then are they glad because they be quiet; so He brings them unto their desired Haven.” Psalm 107:25-30

.

THE CONFLICT INTENSIFIES!

And just like those disciples in that ship, the Church-Elect will go through the great storm just ahead of us, called, “The Time of Jacob’s Trouble.”

.

And through the coming months, as our situation in the world gets more horrific, God’s people will pray and beg and plead with God for deliverance! And the Devil will be constantly pouncing on us, reminding us of our past sins, and of our present un-Christlike characters.

.

Oh yes, we have been striving to become Christlike. But just like those disciples in that ship, it seems as if we are rowing against the wind!

.

We are only halfway there, at best!

.

TESTIMONY OF JESUS CUT OFF

In the meanwhile, the peoples of the world (symbolized by the stormy sea), will be making life more and more difficult for us!

.

All attempts to witness for Christ will be closed off. Freedom of speech will undoubtedly become, “a thing of the past!”

HIGH-TECH TORTURE

.

We recall, during the Dark Ages of old, that the people of God faced cruel torture of various kinds.

.

Well, nowadays, Satan will come at God’s people with torture devices that make “The Rack”, “The Wheel”, and “The Stake” look like child’s play!

.

But now, with all the modern-day drugs and high-tech devices, Satan can accomplish everything he desires, with, “no fuss and no muss”, as that old saying goes!

LIKE POOR DISCOURAGED ELIJAH

.

And as our conflict continues, it will eventually seem as if each Believer is the only one left in the earth!

.

At this point in time, we will say along with discouraged Elijah… “(O Lord, They have) slain Thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.” 1st Kings 19:10.

.

Yes, just as poor weary & discouraged Elijah was pursued by wicked Queen Jezebel and her armies, so also, God’s faithful remnant will be pursued by the world and by the worldly Church!

.

LIKE JACOB’S NIGHT OF WRESTLING

.

As our conflict continues, things will become so tumultuous that it will seem as if we mount up to the heavens, and then are thrust back down into the very depths of Hell!

.

And we will reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man! The world, along with Satan’s evil angels, will seem to hedge us in on every side.

.

But we will wrestle daily in prayer for God’s mercy and providence to help us remain ever-faithful to God’s Word, even as Jacob wrestled through the night with that Stranger!

.

We will struggle under the Tempter’s cruel attacks, to not let go our “shield of faith”! Ephesians 7:14, 17

.

Hence the name of this conflict, “The Time of Jacob’s Trouble!” Jeremiah 30:7

.

THE NIGHT GETS DARKER!

.

Now, nobody knows for certain, just how long this great Time of Trouble will last.

.

But the longer it continues, the darker and more dangerous things will seem! And our deliverance will appear more and more hopeless!

.

**And month after long month will pass, with, “no apparent light at the end of the tunnel”, of our great tribulation!**

.

MANY PITFALLS AHEAD!

.

And it will be only by our remembrance of the many “exceeding great and precious promises” of God’s Word, that we will walk through the midst of Satan’s deadly snares! (2nd Peter 1:4)

.

In a very real sense, it will almost seem like one of those video games in which we must hop over one deep pit after another, so as to not fall in!

.

Yes, but because this faithful remnant spent much time in the past months, hiding God’s Word and His precious promises in their heart, they will be able to walk the narrow pathway through the foreboding jungle of terrors, with deadly snares on every side…“by the word of Thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.” Psalm 17:4

.

IN THE DEPTHS OF HELL!

.

And as the dark stormy night continues, and we will seemingly descend down deeper and deeper into Hell, it will appear as though God has all but abandoned us!

.

There doesn’t seem to be any release! No deliverance! Our prayers will get feeble, and yet we don’t give up, nor do we give in to Satan’s fierce temptations!

.

And finally, in the blackest moment of our great and hopeless despair, we will finally cry out…“My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me?” Matthew 27:46

.

WHEN JESUS STEPS INTO THE SHIP

.

It is at this point that we will slowly look up and behold Jesus walking on the stormy waters, coming in our direction!

.

**And in our fear we will cry out! But Jesus will answer us with these comforting words…“It is I; be not afraid!“**

.

And then to our utter joy, Jesus will get into the ship. And even though we have made seemingly little progress over the years, in our countless attempts to, “walk, even as He (Jesus) walked”, the moment He steps into the ship, we will have immediately reached the other side! (1st John 2:6)

.

We will have arrived at our desired Haven of Rest! The Celestial City of God!

NEVER GIVE UP! NEVER!

(Love never gives up! 1st Corinthians 13:7)

Well, dear Stranger and Pilgrim, this is more or less the scenario which is before us!

.

And though this fallible pen can only inscribe a faint picture of what is coming upon us, today’s encouragement is this: “If we don’t give up, we will eventually win the war!” (see Hebrews 10:37-39)

.

In the coming days, it might seem as though we have failed miserably! Satan will accuse us terribly! We may even begin to doubt the end-time message which God has given us!

We will have no earthly comfort!

.

The entire world will seem like our enemy!

.

But all along, God was quietly working behind the veil, always in total control! And He will only allow that which will be for our ultimate victory over sin and Satan!

.

And when we finally come out victorious, we will have feet as burnished brass, and hearts of pure gold, transformed by God into the glorious likeness of Christ!

INTO THE PROMISED LAND!

And at this point, we will walk onward and upward out of this dark world, and into the Heavenly Promised Land: a land of milk and honey!

A land of joyous laughter and singing, with distant bells ringing out songs of victory which will echo through the lush green everlasting hills…for ever and for ever! Amen.

ETERNITY NOT A PUFFY LITTLE CLOUD!

.

“Where there is no vision, the people perish” Proverbs 29:18

In the beginning, God placed our first parents in a beautiful garden. But as a result of sin, this world lost much of its beauty. The curse has marred, to a great extent, the pristine condition of nature.

.

But there are perhaps many, who are under the impression, that God’s redeemed will spend all eternity sitting on a puffy little cloud, strumming a harp. Nothing could be further from the truth! “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:” Revelation 21:1

.

Do we really imagine that the same God who created that incredible garden for our first parents, would then put us through all this sorrow and hardships of this life, only to now stick us in some boring situation, for all eternity? Such people don’t know God nearly well enough.

.

**The beauty and innocent joys of this present world, are just a faint reflection of what awaits all those who persevere on the upward pathway to that Celestial City of God.**

.

LET’S CATCH A VISION OF THAT PROMISED LAND

.

So Signs Of Heaven encourages the reader to begin to get a vision of the New Heaven and New Earth, and begin to get excited about it. When we hear the cry of a new born baby, or the innocent laughter of little children. When we see a little forest creature having fun, or we enjoy a walk along the sand at the ocean, and hear the majestic roar of the crashing waves. These, and the many other joys of life were created by the One who has also gone to prepare an even more beautiful place for us to live. He knows our needs, and will provide a place: a far more wonderful home than this sin-cursed Earth!

And when we finally cross that river, and we stand together on the shores of that world to come, we will look in amazement at what He has in store for us there. And then we will know for certain, that “His mercy endures forever”, because “God is love”!

Liberty of Conscience in the Family

“For I (God) know him (Abraham),

and they shall keep the way of the LORD,

to do justice and judgment”

God has put us in a world in which we all want to have things our own way.

.

**And man’s innate desire is to have all things go “according to plan…according to HIS plan”.**

IN CENTURIES PAST

.

In centuries past, the family was often ruled over by the stern hand of the father.

.

Divorces were rare and family members knew they had to obey when in the sight of the father.

FAMILIES TODAY

Fast-forward into our current-day society. To a great extent, the father no longer enjoys such supreme authority.

Maybe in some other cultures. But not the western nations so much. And decreasingly so in all cultures, pretty much.

As a matter of fact, it is not uncommon for the wife to be the head of the household.

Yes, we live in a very different world today.

Oh no, not that this world was ever a good place.

But as evil and selfish as this world has always been, it has been devolving even more in these last years.

THE CHRISTIAN HOME

.

But for the Christian home, things should be much closer to Heaven’s way of governing. In other words, the Christian father and mother should take their respective roles, bringing up their children wisely and patiently and godly.

.

Well, at least that’s the way it should be. But of course, it isn’t that way…most of the time. Yes, most of the time, one spouse is probably closer to the Lord than the other spouse. And so, it is not uncommon for there to be continual contention between husband and wife, over many issues.

.

And in most cases, the children have been greatly influenced by outside associations (TV Internet, radio…and even comic books, friends, public schooling, etc…)

.

And so, needless to say, family life in the west has become very complicated for all, but especially for the Christian!

**Quite often, the newer Christian is very zealous to “command his (or her) children and his household after him”, just like faithful Abraham.**

.

But more often than not, the new Believer soon discovers that in today’s world, “the god of this world” has worked 24/7/365 to destroy the family unit, making things extremely difficult, especially for Christians!

.

“Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly…Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock”

1st Peter 5:2,3 (condensed)

.

When a man or woman becomes a Christian, the great desire is to bring the entire family along the upward pathway. But chances are, that is not what happens, especially if the spouse and children are not already Believers.

.

And so, the new Believer quickly discovers that he or she cannot bring them along on the Heavenward sojourn.

.

At this point, the Believer may begin to nag and push at the family, all for little or no avail.

.

But God is well aware of that discouraging situation. And God has allowed that Christian to begin to trust in the “exceeding great and precious promises” found in the Bible. And thus begins a process in which the Believer begins to exercise great patience and forbearance toward the other unsaved family members.

“And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord”

Ephesians 6:4

.

And as the Believer becomes more seasoned in the Word, he or she begins to let go of the “tight grip on the reins”, so to speak, thus allowing more breathing room for family members to continue their world-loving lives.

.

This, of course, makes the Christian’s life extremely bitter at times, since the family’s Salvation is so critically important to that Believer!

.

And thus, the frustrated Believer spends copious amounts of time in his or her “prayer closet”, praying and pleading for their Salvation!

.

And this sad state of affairs causes the Believer to determine to live closer and more devoted to the Lord’s service in hopes of finally gaining the blessing of Salvation for the spouse and children.

.

And this is the life that so many Christians must live. It is a life of struggle and striving, but also of faith and hope and promise.

.

And truth-be-told, God allows all this in His divine will and mercy for that Believer to finally and fully die-to-self, becoming changed into Christ’s image, all due to his/her self-sacrificing effort to save their own family.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”

Romans 8:28

Thus, even in such adverse and sorrowful circumstances which today’s devotional has highlighted, God is able to take such bitter situations and turn them around for that suffering Believer’s future eternal joy!

Yes, God will work ALL THINGS together for good, even both the big and little problems of everyday life!

.

**But we have the following “exceeding great and precious” promise that we must cling to…**

.

Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD;

that walketh in His ways.

For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands:

happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house:

thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

In the beginning, God placed our first parents in a beautiful garden. But as a result of sin, this world lost much of its beauty. The curse has marred, to a great extent, the pristine condition of nature.

But there are perhaps many, who are under the impression, that God’s redeemed will spend all eternity sitting on a puffy little cloud, strumming a harp. Nothing could be further from the truth! “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:” Revelation 21:1

.

Do we really imagine that the same God who created that incredible garden for our first parents, would then put us through all this sorrow and hardships of this life, only to now stick us in some boring situation, for all eternity? Such people don’t know God nearly well enough.

.

**The beauty and innocent joys of this present world, are just a faint reflection of what awaits all those who persevere on the upward pathway to that Celestial City of God.**

.

***LET’S CATCH A VISION OF THAT PROMISED* *LAND***

.

So Signs Of Heaven encourages the reader to begin to get a vision of the New Heaven and New Earth, and begin to get excited about it. When we hear the cry of a new born baby, or the innocent laughter of little children. The First Shall Be Last!

Part 1

It’s so sad to see the nations, in both America and Europe, beginning to crumble under the same judgment as Sodom & Gomorrah. And these were the very nations who once received the Gospel with such love and dedication! Yes, to this very day, the remnant of Christian values are barely lingering. And yet, these nations, including America, are falling quickly into the bottomless pit of sin and moral degeneracy!

.

It’s so sad! They just didn’t know what they had! Now God has washed His hands of these nations, giving them over to the same sins which overthrew Sodom & Gomorrah!

SATAN’S OWN COUNTER-REFORMATION

.

Yes, Satan had his own version of the Counter-Reformation, as he doused those nation’s holy zeal under a flood of materialism and opulence! And just as that same opulence and decadence swept over Sodom and Gomorrah, so too, these decadent nations of Europe and America are now reaping the whirlwind!

.

Jesus said… “So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.” Matthew 20:16.

.

And now, many are weeping to see these formerly great societies being destroyed by Satan, giving themselves over to decadence, crime, and immorality!

1st BEAST’S DEADLY WOUND HEALED!

Yes, those nations were the first to really embrace the Gospel, as they finally saw the Beast receive his deadly wound by God’s glittering sword, the Bible.

Oh yes, those European printing presses began churning out Bibles by the thousands.

.

And as a result, the apostate churches of Europe could no longer keep the great masses in spiritual ignorance. And there was a season of rejoicing over most all of the European nations.

.

At last, Christianity had triumphed over the Beast of Revelation 13: that evil Beast which persecuted anyone who loved the Bible for so many centuries!

But alas, that deadly wound was slowly healed.

And it was time for the 2nd Beast, the False Prophet to bring in that flood of opulence and decadence, which swept over those liberated nations.

.

And soon, the joy of the Gospel began to wane, as Europeans and Americans began to rejoice over material prosperity, much the same way they once rejoiced over the Gospel!

.

OPULENCE & DECADENCE

.

Yes, this 2nd Beast stole away the pure rejoicing in Jesus Christ, and replaced it with a fervor for the things of the earth!

.

That is one great reason why the Revelation 13:11 states that this 2nd Beast would be “coming up out of the earth”! Yes, the earth, and all it produced, became the worst enemy for those Gospel nations.

.

Listen… “Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die: Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.” Proverbs 30:7-9

.

Yes, this above passage from Proverbs seems to encapsulate what happened in Europe. You see, the 1st Beast made life depleted by means of a flood of stark austerity.

.

But the 2nd Beast did just the opposite, by flooding us with more than the heart could wish! So much so, that we are now denying Jesus.

.

APOSTASY NOW COMING INTO FULL

So now, those nations who were the first to joyfully receive the Gospel, are now losing everything God once blessed them with.

.

And now, those who are last, in the third-world nations, are currently receiving the Gospel, while Europe and America are losing the Gospel.

.

Oh yes, there are prosperity-driven gospels which are thriving here in America. But these are merely the itching-ears gospels which Paul forewarned would eventually bring the church-world into utter apostasy!

.

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2nd Timothy 4:3, 4

.

This above verse speaks of total apostasy of the corporate churches, both liberal but also conservative!

So, what are we to do? What are we to say to an angry, yet merciful God?

Let each of us remember that we have been elected to be priests of the Lord.

And now, the Book of Joel commands us…

“Gird yourselves, and lament,

Yes, the Day of the lord has come like a thief in the night! And we have been caught sleeping when we should be watching!

THE THIRD MOUNTAIN…CHOICE ‘C’…

“Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.” Jeremiah 51:25

These three mountains are called “The Valley of Decision Constellation Group”. The first two mountains on the left in this sketch are known are the Mounts of Blessing and Cursing, as found in Deuteronomy 27:11-26 & Chapter 28. The valley between these two mountains is called the Valley of Decision, as is written… “Multitudes, multitudes in the Valley of Decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the Valley of Decision.” Joel 3:14. The Valley of Decision is not a physical place, but a spiritual valley in which each person of the world will make up his or her mind, as to just whom they will serve: God or Satan; God’s kingdom or this world (Satan’s kingdom). From the Mount of Blessing are heard all the blessings which result from serving God. From the Mount of Cursing are heard all the curses which result from disobedience to God’s will. And those in the valley will listen to both sides, and make up their minds, just who will they serve. A very simple choice, right? Wrong!

COUNTERFEIT KINGDOM

.

Now that this basic concept of the first two mountains (Blessings & Cursing) has been presented, it is time to take note of this third mountain; a counterfeit mountain. Oh yes, such a simple choice of life or death is just far too easy for the Dragon (Satan) to accept. No, Satan’s main deception in this world is to create a counterfeit “look-alike” alternatives; attractive choices. Satan really knows how to complicate and confuse the simplicity of the Gospel. Hence the name, Babylon, which means “City of Confusion” (Isaiah 24:10). A perfect and fitting name for Satan’s kingdom!

In Jeremiah 51:25, Babylon is referred to as “O Destroying Mountain”. It is the name of this counterfeit mountain. It is Satan’s kingdom, made up of all Satan’s followers, both humans and evil angels. Satan’s kingdom also includes this fallen world, with all its governments and ideologies. It is that great city…Babylon the Great! The world! Satan’s prison-house!

SATAN: KING OF BABYLON

Also, in Isaiah, the King of Babylon is referred to as Satan… “That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon… the golden city ceased! How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!…” Isaiah 14:4, 12. So here it says that Lucifer, the fallen angel is called the King of Babylon. And this King of Babylon, Lucifer is called in 2nd Corinthians, “the god of this world”. So the world itself is Lucifer’s kingdom. Babylon.

THE VALLEY OF DECISION CONSTELLATION GROUP. They appear in mid-summer in the eastern skies in pre-dawn hours. These are made of Cassiopeia (mount on left), and various stars from the Andromeda Constellation (valley) Pegasus (Mount of Cursing (middle mount) & Destroying Mount (right)), and Pisces (Broad Way to Hell). The galaxy which appears to be climbing the Mountain of Blessing is the Andromeda Galaxy.

Actually, these Valley of Decision Constellations appear in mid-summer after midnight. The mountain to the left (AKA Cassiopeia) is the Mount of Blessing (Grace). The middle mountain is the Mount of Cursing (the Law). And the third mountain to the far right is the Destroying Mountain (Babylon). The straight line from the Destroying Mountain to the Dragon is called the Broad Highway to Hell.

CITY OF CONFUSION

Babylon was given its name during the building of that infamous Tower of Babylon, because God confused their speech…

And so, the name, Babylon, actually means, “City of Confusion”.
