THE ARMOR OF GOD

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord,

and in the power of His might.

Put on the whole armour of God,

that ye may be able to stand

against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,

but against principalities, against powers,

against the rulers of the darkness of this world,

against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God,

that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day,

and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore,

having your loins girt about with truth,

and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Above all, taking the shield of faith,

wherewith ye shall be able to quench

all the fiery darts of the wicked.

And take the helmet of salvation,

and the sword of the Spirit,

which is the Word of God:

Helen always seems to have negative, judgmental thoughts about family and friends.

Miles is likewise obsessed with his musical talent, even though he’s already achieved a level of greatness in that field.

Bud is constantly bombarded by homosexual thoughts, causing him to question himself.

.

Jim cannot seem to control his anger and his desire to harm people.

.

Bill has had a reoccurring dream and is frightened that it might come true!

.

Trudy is diagnosed as an obsessive-compulsive worrier.

.

QUESTION: What do these people all have in common, besides having their obsessive thoughts?

.

ANSWER: These people are all being attacked by unseen spiritual entities.

.

Yes, whether we know it or not, like it or not, this present world is ruled over by spiritual beings who, long ago rebelled against God, thus leaving their first estate (Jude 1:6). And in their warfare against God’s universal government, they have created this Antichrist world-system of which we are all a part of, to one degree or another.

.

And the leader of this rebellion is now the commander of his vast unseen armies, working their various woes and deceptions on earth’s inhabitants.

And especially in this day in which psychology and psychiatry are dominant world ideologies, it is to Satan’s advantage to plague mankind with many obsessive thoughts and lusts and desires: some desires seemingly good, while other thoughts being overtly evil and dangerous.

Yes, mankind is constantly plagued by that “prince of the power of the air, that spirit which now worketh in the children of disobedience.” 2nd Corinthians 4:4

.

“But Put Ye On the Armour of God!”

.

And tragically, many people do not have the spiritual armor to resist these unseen evil spiritual beings. They do not have what the Bible calls, “The Armor of God”.

.

Listen…“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:11, 12

.

Yes, by putting on the armor of God, a man, woman, or child can effectively resist the many attacks of these evil entities.

.

THE HEAVENWARD HIGHWAY

.

The Good News is, that it is still the day in which we may turn away and escape from this earthly prison-house of sin and deception.

.

Yes, all those who wish to be rid of their spiritual bondage, are invited to begin a spiritual sojourn out of this sad and hopeless world, in search of that everlasting life of peace and joy and love!

LOOSING THE BANDS OF ORION

God spoke several times of Orion, in Scripture. His question to Job was a very mystifying question, to say the least… “Canst thou…loose the bands of Orion?” Job 38:31. Such a strange question, indeed! How could a constellation have its bands loosed, much less, even have bands? Puzzling, puzzling!

But now, He is revealing this bright and beautiful constellation in a way that has never before been seen. God Himself is loosing Orion’s bands, as He is just now unraveling this age-old mystery. And we are beginning to understand that this most infamous of all constellations is nothing less than a remarkable metaphor concerning Jesus.

But like most of the other Signs which this website reveals, Orion too, has much more to say as he changes his position in the sky. And this Soldier in the Heavens puts on different garb, as he presents the five awesome aspects of his various offices.
