Global Warming Alert!

There has been an alarm sounding for several decades now, concerning global warming.

.

Day and night, the media has been warning the world that our technology and industry has created an increase in global temperature.

.

IS THE PLANET WARMING, COOLING…OR BOTH?

.

Well, of course, there is an ongoing debate as to whether or not the globe has been going through a number of years of global cooling now. Certainly in some areas of our land, there has been severe drought for a number of years. So instead of calling it “Global Warming”, they now call it “Climate Change”, which allows for cold spells as well as hot spells, making these climate activists look, not nearly so fraudulent.

But just how significant the role that technology and industry plays in affecting the climate has also been part of the current ongoing debate.

.

But perhaps it’s true. Yes, maybe our powerful high-tech/industrial world does indeed affect the climate.

.

But the truth is, nobody actually knows for certain (even though many claim they know for sure).

.

CLIMATE CHANGE IN CENTURIES PAST

.

However, the fact is, regional drought and even warming is nothing new.

.

Yes, throughout history there has been warming in certain areas.

.

For instance, during the warming of one particular part of the globe, long extinct ancient villages and remnants of ancient forests have been exposed from the receding glacier ice in those areas.

.

Also, the Bible reveals that much of the Middle East was once very lush, tropical forests and meadows, such as ancient Israel. And the ancient city-state of Babylon was probably another area which was once very lush and green during the days of Nebuchadnezzar, before it finally became a barren desert as it is, even now. 

.

“He turneth…a…fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.”

.

But just what was the source of that global warming back in those days? After all, there was no industrial technology back in those past millenniums.

.

Well, the Bible reveals one very important truth about climate change in Psalm 107:33, 34…“He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground; A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.”

.

Here we realize that it is God who sometimes punishes a culture’s immorality by turning its luscious greenery into dry desert.

.

It’s just very sad that this current-day atheistic culture no longer understands nor assents to these proven Bible truths, as did many of the western culture’s Christian forefathers!

.

“He turneth…dry ground into watersprings.”

.

Furthermore, should a society return from its licentious and/or its unjust/violent ways, God can certainly reverse that judgment…

.

Listen again to this same Psalm 107…“He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings. And there He maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation; And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.” Psalm 107:35, 36

.

And so, whatever the reason for our current global warming (or “global cooling”, as many other meteorologists insist) which is now occurring, God can easily bless a nation which returns in full and true repentance back to Heaven’s ways! As the above Psalm 107 affirms, God can easily turn, “the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.”

The great question which must be answered is simply this: “Are we willing to turn to Him for help? Will this unbelieving and antichrist society ever return back from our rebellion against Heaven?”

.

LOOSING THE BANDS OF ORION

.

God spoke several times of Orion, in Scripture. His question to Job was a very mystifying question, to say the least… “Canst thou…loose the bands of Orion?” Job 38:31. Such a strange question, indeed! How could a constellation have its bands loosed, much less, even have bands? Puzzling, puzzling!

But now, He is revealing this bright and beautiful constellation in a way that has never before been seen. God Himself is loosing Orion’s bands, as He is just now unraveling this age-old mystery. And we are beginning to understand that this most infamous of all constellations is nothing less than a remarkable metaphor concerning Jesus.

THE 5 OFFICES OF ORION

But like most of the other Signs which this website reveals, Orion too, has much more to say as he changes his position in the sky. And this Soldier in the Heavens puts on different garb, as he presents the five awesome aspects of his various offices. And all this great cosmos we live in is not merely the product of some mindless explosion in which chaos and confusion transformed its own lifeless self into a vast universe full of life and law and order and beauty and poetry and wisdom and grandeur…and love!

But this is actually an awesome expanse of our Heavenly Father, the infinite Creator’s own making.

HEAVENLY OBJECT LESSON

.

“Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.” Isaiah 24:23

.

When God created the Moon and the stars, He ordained them to “rule the night” (Gen. 1:16). The Moon, especially when it is full, can light your pathway through the night, as it reflects the light of the Sun.

.

So too, the Christian is to be a light to the world: to this sin-darkened world. But as the Moon must reflect the light of the Sun, in order to be a light to the world, so also must the Christian reflect the light of Jesus, to be a spiritual light to this planet in rebellion. Listen…

.

“Ye are the light of the world…Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

.

However, during an eclipse, the Earth passes directly between the Sun and the Moon, preventing that sunlight from shining on the Moon’s face. This is an incredible object-lesson about when the child of God allows the world to come between him and his Lord. Like the eclipse, that person no longer reflects the light of Jesus, because his or her love of this dark world of sin has eclipsed the light from the “Sun of Righteousness” (see Malachi 4:2).

.

In yesterday’s devotional (click here) it was revealed that when the Moon is full, there are three faces etched into its surface: one that appears as a man (right), the second face as a wolf (see photo below), and the third face as a rabbit, or perhaps a mouse (left).

PHARISEEISM: THE SPIRIT OF PRIDE

.

But these two devotionals are focusing on the second face, the wolf-like beast (both of these pictures, left and right, the picture right being a cariacture of the picture left).

.

If you will notice, this creature appears to have somewhat of a judgmental facial expression (drawing to the right is exaggerated for clarity). Yes, one of his eyebrows is raised, causing him to appear as if he is looking down at the world with a judgmental eye.

.

This face represents a proud Pharisee. This is because the Pharisees were a class of very outwardly moral spiritual leaders. And the Pharisees looked down on others with a judgmental eye (much like this wolf-like Moon beast).

.

TAKING CREDIT FOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Well, Let’s pick up where we left off.

.

Yes, in yesterday’s devotional (click here), a number of Bible passages were offered to confirm the idea that it is God, and not man who chooses the life circumstances of each and every human.

.

Listen to Paul’s rebuke to the Corinthians for their pride…“For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?” 1st Corinthians 4:7

.

Here is yet another proof-text that confirms the Divine Providence of our infinite God! These Corinthians were proud of their accomplishments, not realizing that they were perhaps the most spiritually deficient of all the churches in Paul’s day. But Paul pointed out to them that if there actually was anything good about them, it was merely a gift from God, and not inherently their own virtue.

GOD MADE…”THE DUMB…DEAF…THE SEEING…THE BLIND’

Exodus 4:11

.

And this same self-approbating error exists in today’s church-world. Today’s churches do not properly emphasize the fact that any truly good thing that a person possesses, is actually a gift of God.

.

But on the other hand, those who are living in unfortunate circumstances are not merely the products of bad choices, but are probably being pressed down by the unseen forces of Hell: Satan and his fellow evil-angels.

.

If the citizens of this fallen planet would really take hold of this truth, then all judging and condemning would come to a complete halt.

.

But the world cannot receive this truth because it is only through the power of God’s indwelling Spirit that these difficult truths can be understood and accepted.

.

“And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and He (God) doeth according to His will…among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay His hand, or say unto Him, What doest Thou?”

It must be remembered that, compared to God’s infinite knowledge and wisdom, we are like little ants in our miniscule understanding. And yet, in His great love, our Heavenly Father has put each of us in our very own circumstances for various reasons:

1. To discover for our own self, that “my selfish ways do not bring me true happiness or peace, but rather bring sorrow, disappointment, and ultimately, sickness and death”.

2. In hopes that I might grow tired and weary of my selfish ways, and at last, begin to seek out to find Him, and return to Him forever.

LIVING IN A SPIRITUAL BATTLE-ZONE

And so, in light of these two devotionals, the plea goes out to each and every one of us to stop from all judging others, be they rich or be they poor, moral or immoral, sober or drunk, industrious or dysfunctional, etc…

.

We just do not realize how the unseen powers, both heavenly or hellish, are working behind the scenes in the life of each and every living soul!

.

“Judge not, that ye be not judged.“

Matthew 7:1

.

And now that we have finally reached that great and fearful day of God’s Judgment, it is quite possible that those of us who thought that we were better than others just might find ourselves caught in a dramatic role-reversal!

.

Yes, the day has arrived in which those of us who looked down our noses at others might just wake up to discover that “I” am now the one begging on the street-corner or “I” am now the drunkard lying in the gutter, etc….

“GOOD NEWS FROM A FAR COUNTRY!”

Well, the Good News is, that we modern-day “Corinthians” can still repent of our proud phariseeism, and plead for God to burn away the antichrist spirit completely and utterly out of our heart. Yes, we can fall down before the throne of God (spiritually, not literally) and beg for Him to do a work in our heart to crucify the “old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;” Ephesians 4:22

.

And then, when that Old Man is fully crucified, we will wholeheartedly agree with Paul…“Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.” 1st Timothy 1:15

“THE SCORNER (THE PHARISEE)”

.

Please tilt your head to the left. Do you see a man with a very long pointed nose. (Obviously, the sketch to the right is just an exaggeration in order to help you find the face in the photo to the left.)

Do you see an angry look? His right eye-brow is raised as if he is judging.

.

This second face in the Moon appears to be that of a combination of a man as well as a fox. Or maybe a wolf. Doesn’t he have a long narrow nose like a wolf or fox? Maybe even a dog. Nevertheless, the expression on his face, as he appears to look down upon the Earth, is that of scorn.

.

Unlike the first Moon-man’s sad look of shock and awe (click here to see and read about); this ‘man/fox/wolf/dog’ appears to be that of anger and scorn. As if he is disgusted at the sinful planet below. He is very moral, you see.

Well, the Bible has much to say about Pharisees. And the Bible has much to say about wolves, and foxes, and dogs. And this wolf-face inscribed in the Moon has much to tell us about ourselves. So if you are a truth-seeker, then this article will be an eye-opener, as we explore just what the Bible has to say about these things. And the fact is, this Pharisee Moon-Beast is in the heart of each and every human. And so, if you (or me) find that this wolf-man has some things in common, please don’t despair. For God is giving us these signs, while there still is time. While there still is hope.

THE PHARISEES…

Yes this wolf-like beast-face in the Moon, is what the Bible calls a proud Pharisee. They were the morality crowd. They were the finger pointers. They were the scorners. They didn’t realize that their own pride was even more reprehensible to God than the drunkenness, immorality, or sexual perversions of the unsaved of the world.

Alexander Hislop, a minister of the Gospel, back in the mid-nineteenth century, made a compelling case in his renowned (and much despised and maligned) book, The Two Babylons, concerning the Church of Rome being an extension of ancient Babylon.

Hislop went step-by-step, showing that the various customs, practices, doctrines, and holidays of that Romish religion were actually originated in ancient Babylon and other neighboring pagan cultures.

VERY SLOPPY BIBLE INTERPRETATION!

But the real problem comes in when church leaders and theologians concoct and canonize a new day of worship without any biblical authority.

.

Listen to this stark warning from God…“Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him. Add thou not unto His words, lest He reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” Proverbs 30:5, 6

.

God is very jealous for His Word. Nothing should be added nor taken away from His Word (no matter how insignificant such a change may seem!)

.

And let’s face it! The Bible has been written by God to be a legal document. It is the infallible, inerrant covenant between God and man. In other words, it must totally agree with itself. It is an air-tight contract!

.

“For precept must be upon precept…line upon line”

Isaiah 28:10

.

But when mere erring humans begin to make church doctrines based on faulty and incomplete scriptural interpretation, they break that sacred covenant. In other words, this new sabbath day (or ‘The Lord’s Day’, as they now call it, which the Bible never assigns ‘The Lord’s Day’ to any one particular day of the week), requires its adherents to make conclusions of its sacredness based on assumption and presumption rather than on a plain, “Thus saith the Lord”. They must take a theological leap across all biblical prudence in order to justify that day.

We cannot just concoct a new sabbath day from midnight to midnight on the 1st day of the week using sola-scriptura, “The Bible only”! It’s just not there!

.

A THEOLOGICAL LEAP TO ASSUME CHRIST’S RESURRECTION JUSTIFIES A NEW SANCTIFIED DAY OF WORSHIP.

.

And yes, Jesus was resurrected on the 1st Day of the week. But that in itself does not validate nor condone any concocting of a new sabbath, or a new sanctified day of church gathering to worship.

.

And oh yes, as already said, the Church could have met on this or any other day of the week and hopefully on all seven days!

.

But for the most part, they didn’t.

.

And yet, in the Book of Acts, we see that the early Church did indeed meet every day of the week, as is written…“And they (Jesus’ followers), continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house” Acts 2:46

.

“MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS”

Revelation 17:5

But as Alexander Hislop painstakingly laid out in his book, The Two Babylons, the current-day church world is following its ‘Mother Church’, which has her roots deeply embedded in ancient Babylonian/pagan festivals, traditions, and doctrines.

Yes, Sunday worship is actually a weekly pagan celebration once known as “The Venerable Day of the Sun”, which Emperor Constantine, an avowed Sun worshiper, incorporated into the Christian religion in attempt to make Christianity more acceptable, not only to himself, but to the sun-worshiping pagan world, as well.

.

And so, he brought this and several other Babylonian holidays into the Christian world, giving them a thin Christian veneer: Easter (the resurrection of Tammuz, spoken of in Ezekiel 8:14) and Christmas (Saturnalia).

Listen…“On 7 March 321, Constantine I, Rome’s first Christian Emperor (see Constantine I and Christianity), decreed that Sunday would be observed as the Roman day of rest: On the venerable Day of the Sun let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed.” (taken from Wikipedia)

And considering all the other various unbiblical and Babylonian-based customs and holidays which the current-day church now celebrates, it should make it abundantly clear that the churches have become assimilated into this present-day Babylonian world.

THE WINTER CONSTELLATIONS

This Woman of Revelation 12 is definitely fleeing to the mountains . As you can see in this sketch below, The Dragon of Revelation 12 is spewing out his water of falsehoods: false gospels, false ideologies, various temptations, false brethren who will embrace her with the poisonous wine of the The Great Harlot of Babylon. These are what comprise this wave of water coming forth from the Dragon’s mouth. (see “Flood Waters of Satan”)

In yesterday’s devotional (click here to read) it was revealed that when the Moon is full, there are three faces etched into its surface: one that appears as a man, the second face as a wolf (or some similar dog-like beast), and the third face as a rabbit, or perhaps a mouse…a rodent of some type.

PHARISEEISM: THE SPIRIT OF PRIDE

.

But these two devotionals are focusing on the second face, the wolf-like beast.

.

If you will notice, this creature appears to have somewhat of a judgmental facial expression. Yes, one of his eyebrows is raised, causing him to appear as if he is looking down at the world with a judgmental eye.

.

This face represents a proud Pharisee. This is because the Pharisees were a class of very morally proud spiritual leaders. And the Pharisees looked down on others with a judgmental eye (much like this wolf-like Moon beast).

.

TAKING CREDIT FOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Well, Let’s pick up where we left off in our last devotional on this subject.

.

Yes, in yesterday’s devotional (click here) a number of Bible passages were offered to confirm the idea that it is God, and not man, who chooses the life circumstances of each and every human.

.

Listen to Paul’s rebuke to the Corinthians for their pride…“For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?” 1st Corinthians 4:7

.

Here is yet another proof-text which further confirms the Divine Providence of our infinite God! These Corinthians were proud of their accomplishments, not realizing that they were perhaps the most spiritually deficit of the churches in Paul’s day. But Paul pointed out to them that if there was anything good about them, it was only a gift from God and nothing they could take credit for.

GOD MADE…”THE DUMB…DEAF…THE SEEING…THE BLIND’

Exodus 4:11

And this same self-approbating error exists in today’s church-world. Today’s churches do not properly emphasize the fact that any good thing that a person possesses, is a gift from God. And those who are living in unfortunate circumstances are not merely the product of bad choices, but are probably being pressed down by the unseen forces of Hell: Satan and his fellow evil-angels.

If the citizens of this fallen planet would really take hold, fully, of this truth, then all judging and condemning would soon come to a complete halt.

.

But the world cannot receive this truth because it is only through the power of God’s indwelling Spirit that these difficult truths can be understood and accepted.

It must be remembered that, compared to God’s infinite knowledge and wisdom, we are like little ants in our miniscule understanding. And yet, in His great love, our Heavenly Father has put each of us in our very own circumstances for various reasons:

1. To discover for our own self, that “my selfish ways do not bring me true happiness or peace, but rather bring sorrow, disappointment, and ultimately, sickness and death”.

2. In hopes that I might grow tired and weary of my selfish ways, and at last, begin to seek out to find Him, and return to Him forever.

LIVING IN A SPIRITUAL BATTLE-ZONE

And so, in light of these past several devotionals on this subject, the plea goes out to each and every one of us to stop from all judging of others, be they rich or be they poor, or moral or immoral, sober or drunk, industrious or dysfunctional, etc…

We just do not realize how the unseen powers, both heavenly or hellish, are working behind the scenes in the life of each and every living soul!

“Judge not, that ye be not judged.“

And now that we have finally reached that great and fearful day of God’s Judgment, it is quite possible that those of us who thought that we were better than others just might find ourselves caught in a dramatic role-reversal!

Yes, the day has arrived in which those of us who looked down our noses at others might just wake up to discover that “I” am now the one begging on the street-corner or “I” am now the drunkard lying in the gutter, etc….

Well, the Good News is, that we modern-day “Corinthians” can still repent of our proud phariseeism, and plead for God to burn away the antichrist spirit completely and utterly out of our heart. Yes, we can fall down before the throne of God (fall down spiritually, not literally) and beg for Him to do a work in our heart to crucify the “old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;” Ephesians 4:22

And then, when that Old Man is fully crucified, we will wholeheartedly agree with Paul…“Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.” 1st Timothy 1:15

Please tilt your head to the left. Do you see a man with a very long pointed nose. (Obviously, the sketch to the right is just an exaggeration in order to help you find the face in the photo to the left.)

Do you see an angry look? His right eye-brow is raised as if he is judging.

.

This second face in the Moon appears to be that of a combination of a man as well as a fox. Or maybe a wolf. Doesn’t he have a long narrow nose like a wolf or fox? Maybe even a dog. Nevertheless, the expression on his face, as he appears to look down upon the Earth, is that of scorn.

Unlike the first Moon-man’s sad look of shock and awe (click here to see and read about); this ‘man/fox/wolf/dog’ appears to be that of anger and scorn. As if he is disgusted at the sinful planet below. He is very moral, you see.

SOME REALLY WORLDLY ADVICE!

But when confiding to this friend (a fellow church-attendee), the suggestion came back to this very sad man, “You really need to start taking antidepressants for your depression.”

Well, then the sad widower called another church-member for advice, and was counseled, “What you need to do is get involved with some social clubs.”

And a third friend said, “What you need to do is start eating healthier foods, and exercising in the fresh outdoor air! Maybe join a jogging club”.

“O TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD!”

The fact is, God often permits us to enjoy years with many of life’s good things, so that we can…“taste and see, that the Lord is good!” Psalm 34:8

Unfortunately, today’s churches quite often mislead their flock into the notion that God’s chief desire is for His people to live a long, happy, and prosperous life.

And this is the essence of what has now been tagged as, “the prosperity gospel”.

“Supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself”

It doesn’t matter whether one attends a liberal church or a conservative one, this prosperity-driven gospel is currently being taught, to some degree.

Yes, if one surveys today’s Christian community, most churches teach this false doctrine to one extent or another!

.

And whether taught from the pulpit or taught by the wrong example set by fellow parishioners, far too many church-attendees are completely in the dark as to the actual reason why God ultimately put us here: to learn to hate this evil, selfish world, transforming and conforming ourselves into Christ’s glorious Image, thus becoming a living witness to all!

Oh yes, God has left many good things in this world to enjoy: marriage, family, nature, work, sleep, food, social togetherness, as well as many similar tokens of God’s goodness.

But this antichrist world-system is basically evil. And God wants to raise up His own army of ambassadors for Heaven, to go out and call the lost souls of this, the Devil’s world, to return back to God from our rebellion against Heaven.

.

But this great truth has greatly been lost sight of! And even those congregations which still teach this truth, actually teach just the opposite, by their poor example of a world-loving personal daily lifestyle.

“That ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction” 

1st Corinthians 7:35

And so, instead of urging that sad, elderly man to begin to learn to live by God’s “great and precious promises”, well-meaning parishioners will often encourage the grieving one to “Start taking antidepressants” or to “Become socially active”, or even to “Start a daily regimen of healthy diet and outdoor exercise”, or even, “Find another spouse”.

They just do not understand that God often allows one spouse to go before the other spouse, to give the remaining spouse time to learn to fully lean upon God’s promises instead of relying so heavily upon that deceased spouse, as they had done for so long.

The fact is, the church-world is fallen and apostate. And so, we shouldn’t be surprised to hear such stories like this one about that grieving elderly widower.

And this is just one more reason why God is calling His people to “Come out of her, My people, lest you partake of her sins, and receive of her plagues” Revelation 18:4

.

Yes, today’s devotional presents just one more example of the erroneous teachings now occurring in the current-day Christian community. And God is warning us to flee from that dangerous environment and find refuge in God’s “mountain of holiness”, the heavenly “Mount Zion”.

And in that spiritual mountainous stronghold, the Christian can rest assured that his “bread (of Heaven ) shall be given him; his waters (of grace) shall be sure!”

LOCATING THIS CONSTELLATION…

This constellation group can best be seen in spring through summer in the southern sky just above the horizon. Like all constellations, it slowly moves westward through the months, appearing a little earlier each night. It also appears to move through the sky westward each night. It can be easily seen under any degree of darkness. In other words, you don’t need a very dark night. In the sketch to the right, the ‘Flower of the Field’ Constellation `is in the lower part of the screen, directly under the Cross/Scepter Constellation. The sketches in this site are approximate, and not 100% accurate. The individual stars have different brightness than seen here. But these sketches are close enough in order to find them in the night sky.

This constellation presents one of the most beautiful verses in Scripture. And yet that Scripture presents one of the most repugnant concepts (which unsaved Mankind has tried to elude for millenniums). And that concept is, that Mankind is like the grass that withers, and his glory as the wildflower that fades away. But God’s Word and those that love it will go on forever and ever!

When the Moon is full, there are three faces etched into its surface: one that appears as a man, the second as a wolf (or some other dog-like beast), and the third as a rabbit, or perhaps a rodent.

.

Well, without getting too complex, let’s just examine the wolf-like face.

.

If you will notice, this creature appears to have somewhat of a judgmental expression. Yes, one of his eyebrows is raised, causing him to look as if he is looking down at the world with a judgmental eye.

.

This face represents a proud Pharisee. This is because the Pharisees were a class of very moral spiritual leaders. And the Pharisees looked down on others with a judgmental eye (much like this wolf-like Moon beast).

PHARISEEISM IS THE SPIRIT OF SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS

Well, there may be no more Pharisees existing in today’s world. Nevertheless, the spirit of Phariseeism is still alive and well! This is because this world is filled with pride, pseudo-moralism, and judging. As a matter of fact, the average person probably judges others (in thought) throughout his or her entire day!

And so, the spirit of pride and judging can be found in every human, to one extent or another.

JUDGING OTHERS

You see, the Pharisees were extremely moral, wealthy, full of good works, and looked down on others whom they deemed less than themselves in those same areas. In other words, they judged others by their own personal standards.

And in today’s world, we tend to judge those who are “the dregs of society” as deserving of their unfortunate circumstances because they are just a product of a lifetime of making bad choices.

Now listen to God’s assessment of the human race…“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that  seeketh after God. Yes, this indictment by God covers the entire human race, including you and me!

GOD CHOOSES OUR HABITATION

Listen to how God is in total control of each human…“God that made the world and all things therein…and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after Him, and find Him, though He be not far from every one of us:” Acts 17:24, 26, 27

Here is a very cryptic but revealing passage which says that it is God who chooses “the bounds of their (and our) habitation”.

In other words, it is He who determines each of our living situations, and not we ourselves! In this way, He orchestrates our individual circumstances to draw us to Him.

“THE SCORNER (THE PHARISEE)”

Please tilt your head to the left. Do you see a man with a very long pointed nose. (Obviously, the sketch to the right is just an exaggeration in order to help you find the face in the photo to the left.)

Do you see an angry look? His right eye-brow is raised as if he is judging.

.

This second face in the Moon appears to be that of a combination of a man as well as a fox. Or maybe a wolf. Doesn’t he have a long narrow nose like a wolf or fox? Maybe even a dog. Nevertheless, the expression on his face, as he appears to look down upon the Earth, is that of scorn.

THIS BEAST WITHIN

Well, the Bible has much to say about Pharisees. And the Bible has much to say about wolves, and foxes, and dogs. And this wolf-face inscribed in the Moon has much to tell us about ourselves.

.

So, if you are a truth-seeker, then this article will be an eye-opener, as we explore just what the Bible has to say about these things. And the fact is, this Pharisee Moon-Beast is in the heart of each and every human. And so, if you (or me) find that this wolf-man has some things in common, please don’t despair. THE PHARISEES…

Yes this wolf-like beast-face in the Moon, is what the Bible calls a proud Pharisee. They were the morality crowd. They were the finger pointers. They were the scorners. They didn’t realize that their own pride was even more reprehensible to God than the drunkenness, immorality, or sexual perversions of the unsaved of the world.

Back in the 1970’s, a certain saying was popularized…“The Devil made me do it! The Devil made me do it!”

And this was merely mocking Christians, who were seemingly obsessed with pointing the finger at the Devil.

Then this unbelieving world could all laugh and scorn “the silly and absurd notion” that Satan is a very active and powerful force controlling the people of this world, by laughingly saying…“The Devil made me do it! The Devil made me do it!”

SATAN, “THE GOD OF THIS WORLD”

2nd Corinthians 4:4

But the horrifying fact is, the Devil does indeed cause the vast percentage of the world’s inhabitants to do a great number of things!

And this above verse from Ephesians reveals that Satan is indeed… “the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:”

And let’s face it! To admit that the entire world’s inhabitants are filled with this evil and invisible antichrist spirit is more than most are willing to accept, much less even admit!

SATAN, THE GREAT PUPPET-MASTER!

In yesterday’s devotional (click here), the Devil, being called, “the god of this world” in 2nd Corinthians 4:4, was put forth as an evil puppet-master, controlling and orchestrating so much of the goings on in this, his self-seeking world.

Oh yes, God is ultimately in control, and only permits Satan to work within the parameters which Bible prophecy lays out, concerning his workings of deception and evil. And Satan must get permission before he can do anything, as revealed in the first chapter of Job, as well as other places in Scripture!

WORLDLY ROLE-MODELS?

But today’s devotional will attempt to home-in on the world of entertainment, and how and why things are done in that electronic sphere.

Whether it’s the television or the movie industry, or the sports world, or the music industry, or any other area of entertainment, the “god of this world” makes sure that the earth’s inhabitants have many role-models to look up to and admire.

.

.

“ARE YOU GOOD ENOUGH!?”

.

Yes, this luciferian world, whether overtly or covertly, presents a challenge to the onlooking multitudes who indulge in various fields of entertainments:

.

“Can you do it?”

.

“Are you talented enough?

.

Beautiful enough?

.

Tough enough?

.

Smart enough?

.

Rich enough?

.

Fast enough?”

.

And that wily serpent-of-old knows exactly how to fill the hearts of his loyal subjects with jealousy. He knows how to make us covet what these world-class entertainers have achieved.

And that’s exactly why he raises up these “stars” of the sports and entertainment industries: to make us burn with lust and envy, as we attempt to emulate these modern-day idols in our own little sphere.

CHOSEN TO JOIN SATAN’S ARMY

But the big point of today’s devotional is to reveal that it is no accident that certain individuals attain to stardom in their own particular field.

.

It is “the god of this world” who carefully and precisely (with God’s permission, of course) chooses the ones that he raises up to be his front-men (and women) in this or that area of the sports and entertainment world.

.

And with the advent of television, radio, Internet, and the printed media, Lucifer’s ability to parade his human idols before the on-looking public is a hundred-fold more powerful and effective than in previous centuries.

.

SATAN INCITES LUST AND ENVY

.

And just think about all the youngsters around the world who see these famous ones and burn in their hearts to someday achieve such worldly greatness! So sad and very tragic!

But what few people realize is, that unless one has been chosen to be a mega-star, there really isn’t any possibility of achieving fame and fortune in these fields of entertainment. It’s already been decided by “the rulers of the darkness of this world!” (see Ephesians 6:12)

.

And as already mentioned, ultimately it is only God who allows Satan to use this or that person for his own evil purposes.

USEFUL PAWN FOR SATAN?

But why in the world would anyone want to knowingly become a front-man for Satan in the first place?

.

After all, even if you happened to be one of his ‘chosen ones’, all it would mean is that you would become his useful pawn to deceive earth’s inhabitants, mis-leading them further into sin and destruction!

.

And when Satan was finished using you, he would merely discard you, and choose a newer, younger version to take your place!

.

Well, the Good News is, that anyone who desires to turn to Jesus can become a superstar in the eyes of Heaven! Oh no, you won’t be adored by this world. But you will be greatly loved by all the heavenly host!

And those who do turn away from this world’s glory, seeking Heaven’s glory will never be discarded nor replaced! No, you will live forever in the wonderful Promised Land, where this world of idolatry and lust will be forever destroyed!

In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns. However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not.

But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns. Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars.

The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7). And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10). So we have this 7 and 10 numbering. And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent. Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).

Back in the 1970’s, a certain saying was popularized…“The Devil made me do it! The Devil made me do it!”

And this was merely mocking Christians, who were seemingly obsessed with pointing the finger at the Devil.

Then they could all laugh and mock “the silly and absurd notion” that Satan is a very active and powerful force controlling the people of this world, by laughingly saying…“The Devil made me do it! The Devil made me do it!”

SATAN, “THE GOD OF THIS WORLD”

2nd Corinthians 4:4

But the horrifying fact is, this invisible spirit of evil does indeed cause the vast percentage of the world’s inhabitants to do a great number of things!

.

After all, the above signature verse reveals a truth that practically nobody realizes nor accepts! It is, perhaps, the most egregious truth in all of the Bible!

And this above verse from Ephesians reveals that Satan is indeed… “the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:”

And let’s face it! To admit that the entire world’s inhabitants are filled with this invisible evil antichrist spirit, is more than anybody is willing to accept, much less even admit!

THE UNSEEN BATTLE RAGES ALL AROUND US!

We live in a world in which the armies of both Heaven and Hell are unseen and extremely low-profile!

Heaven has its own reasons for doing this, and Hell has its own reasons for virtually erasing itself out of existence. Heaven’s reasons are true and upright while Hell’s motives for its invisibility are evil and deceptive!

And so, it has been relatively easy for Satan, “the god of this world” to propagate this false ideology known as “atheism”.

SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST DWELLS WITHIN THE HUMAN RACE

But make no mistake! While Satan and his fellow angels are very invisible to mankind, we should never get the idea that they are just sitting around. No, they are now actively working “in the children of disobedience” (see Ephesians 2:2, 3).

.

Listen to this very revealing passage from Ephesians 2:2…“Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:”

.

Here, God, through the hand of Paul, exposes the extent to which the spiritual powers of Hell exert, both over and within the lives of this world’s inhabitants: “the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that NOW WORKETH IN the children of disobedience:”

“HEREBY WE KNOW THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH AND THE SPIRIT OF ERROR’

Wow! What a frightening verse is Ephesians 2:2! Satan’s spirit actually works “in” the children of disobedience!

And this, plus other similar passages, such as this above verse from 1st John 4:6, reveal that this is so! The spirit of Antichrist indwells the unsaved human race! Not only so, but that spirit “now works” in the earth’s inhabitants!

This revelation explains a whole lot about why this world seems to be orchestrated so well in many ways.

THE IMAGE THAT SPEAKS

For example, just look how the inventions of television, Internet, radio, newspapers are increasingly becoming the standard in the lifestyles of the human race! Even throughout the third-world nations, these devices are popping up like the proverbial mushrooms!

Is all this just an accident?

No, it wasn’t an accident!

.

After all, the Bible foretold of this very day…“And he (the 2nd Beast) had power to give life unto the image of the (1st) beast, that the image of the (1st) beast should both speak…” Revelation 13:15

.

Never before in history has there existed an image which was given life and given the ability to speak!

.

But this invisible world-ruler, Lucifer, is carrying out his master-plan to engage in his end-time assault upon the world, but especially upon God’s people.

But now, via television, radio, and Internet, the unseen agencies of evil have a giant megaphone, so to speak, in which to broadcast their hellish lies and devilish deceptions into the homes and into the hearts of men, women, and children everywhere!

And so, it would be very naive for anyone to get the notion that all this world’s daily events are just the products of human effort!

No way! Satan is the great puppet-master! He leaves nothing up to chance!

And as Christians, “we are not ignorant of his devices!” (2nd Corinthians 2:11)

THE WHOLE WORLD TAKEN CAPTIVE!

And so, don’t imagine for a moment that the people and events we witness each day are just happenstance!

No, the people of this fallen world are captives and prisoners of Satan. His Antichrist spirit is now working in them.

And they surround God’s people on every side, working their deceptive ways to destroy God’s people as far as they possibly can!

“GOOD NEWS FROM A FAR COUNTRY!”

Proverbs 25:25

Well, the Good News is, we don’t have to be “useful pawns” in Satan’s giant chess-game called “Planet Earth”. No, it is still “the day of Salvation!” (Isaiah 49:8 & 2nd Corinthians 6:2) And there is still time to turn with all our heart to the One who is able to save all those who truly call upon His Name!

And very soon, we will be delivered out of this sad and sin-sick world, into the long-awaited Promised Land, far out of the reach of the Enemy of Souls!

.

And no more will we be subjected to this Puppet-Master who orchestrates all the daily goings-on in this world, surrounding us with all his “useful pawns” who dance and sing and act, and tell us jokes, and entertain us, and slap us on the back, and make us think they are our friends!

.

No, the Land which awaits us, will truly be a land of liberty and freedom and joy in which we will be happy forevermore, and will never grow old, but rather, be forever young!
