The False Prophet,

Part 31:

“The False Prophet’s Two Horns: ‘Capitalism or Socialism?'”

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth;

and he had two horns like a lamb,

and he spake as a dragon.

Revelation 13:11

.

There is a great divide in the world today.

.

It is the political schism called, “the Right and the Left”. This is likewise known as liberals and conservatives.

.

And yet, the Lord knew all about this long ago.

.

As a matter of fact, these two political groups were spoken of in the Book of Revelation…“And I beheld another beast (the false Prophet) coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.” Revelation 13:11

.

SATAN, THE TRUE “FALSE PROPHET”

.

Here is a symbolic representation of a great movement in the world, in which Satan will come, working through political and religious organizations to deceive the inhabitants of the world, as foretold in Revelation 13, concerning, “The False Prophet”.

THE THINGS OF THE EARTH

.

And this False Prophet Beast coming up out the earth, with two horns like the Lamb of God, reminds us of our current-day industrial/political machine which has become a great beast over the earth.

.

Yes, beginning in the United States, this beast has risen up via the earthly riches and earthy pleasures and lusts now seen spreading to the other nations of the earth!

.

THE LEFT AND RIGHT HORNS

.

It’s very interesting to see the two great political factions each seemingly going into the corner of their own respective economic ideologies: the left horn to socialism, and the right horn to capitalism.

.

Of course, neither of these two ideologies will exist in the New Heaven and the New Earth. And yet, for now it seems that we must suffer these two ideologies to continue for a while longer.

.

BUYING AND SELLING

.

But while the two opposing political factions each fight for their own favorite economic system, it must be stated that the Bible is satisfied for now, with capitalism.

.

In other words, the economy of buying and selling is found throughout the Old and New Testaments, while socialism is never promoted nor condoned. Oh yes, socialism has “a form of godliness”, and yet it attempts to help out the needy while being void the Spirit of true love and compassion.

.

Yes indeed, Heaven has a true love and a genuine compassion. But the love and compassion which this world exhibits are void of the Holy Spirit, making it merely a cheap imitation of the true.

.

SO, WHAT’S WRONG WITH SOCIALISM?

.

Now at this point, someone will stand up and object, saying…“So what’s wrong with socialism? After all, it helps those who are in need of help!”

.

Well, to realize the flaw with socialism one should step back and ask the question…“Well, why does capitalism seem to thrive in this world, while socialistic societies begin to crumble after a few decades?”

.

And the simple answer is that capitalism caters to humanity’s innate selfish nature. In other words, buying and selling and producing goods and services are rewarded in a capitalistic society. And so, when people get rewarded for their own personal efforts, it causes them to strive even harder.

SOCIALISM DIMINISHES AMBITION

.

One great problem with socialism is that it does not inspire people to work harder. To give financial help to people who did not work for that aid, only causes us to become lethargic and self-satisfied.

.

But also, to take away a hard-working person’s wealth will eventually cause many of them to simply throw up their hands and say, “Why should I work my fingers to the bone only to have my earnings divided up by people who did nothing to earn it? Why don’t I just get on the “gravy train” like everyone else?”

.

And so, in this selfish world, capitalism works quite well, and socialism has failed quite often.

“whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring…an offering”

Another problem with socialism is that it forces people to give.

.

And such mandatory giving always tends to dry up “the spirit of charitable willingness” in people.

.

But in Jesus’ day, Christians were never forced to give.

.

Biblical giving was always done on a volunteer basis.

.

TOTALITARIANISM

.

And so, because socialism goes against fallen mankind’s selfish nature, the government must begin to force the general populace to obey and work in this oppressive ideology.

.

And so as to keep the ever-increasing opposition to this failing ideology, the government must also do away with free speech, causing even more totalitarianism. They simply cannot allow the logic and reason of “free-market” ideas to take root in the hearts of the general populace!

.

And even now, the proponents of social-justice and the Marxist ideology are becoming increasingly intolerant and violent against capitalism and free speech. Acts of civil violence by these anarchists and censorship by the major media are increasing daily in this society.

.

Oh yes, our leaders promise us that socialism will be “democratic socialism” (the people ruling), while at the same time they are turning this society into a totalitarian/authoritarian society!

SOCIALISM: TRIED AND FAILED!

.

In the nations which have attempted to have pure socialism (aka “Communism”), it inevitably failed. And the strong and powerful ones figured out how to rig the system, to enrich their own selves, while the weaker ones eventually suffered economic oppression.

.

In other words, mankind’s innate selfishness soon prevailed over social-equity.

.

This innate selfishness is because Earth’s inhabitants have been under the authoritarian rule of “the god of this world”, Lucifer, the King of selfishness (see 2nd Corinthians 4:4). And his antichrist spirit “now worketh in the children of disobedience” (Ephesians 2:2, 3).

.

And so, try as we may, our world cannot and will not ever achieve some sort of fair and equitable government. It is ultimately destined to fail! We are, by nature, self-seeking animals. And we can erect some phony façade for a time (such as socialism). But eventually our selfish nature will prevail and be manifest to all!

“GOOD NEWS FROM A FAR COUNTRY”

Proverbs 25:25

.

Well, the Good News is, that in the place we are traveling to, there will be no need for either one of these two ideologies (Capitalism & Socialism).

.

But rather, self-sacrificing love will be the supreme law of that wonderful Land!

.

Giving to others will be our greatest delight in that place.

EVEN GREATER GOOD NEWS!

.

But the even greater Good News is that we don’t have to wait for the Promised Land, to exercise generosity.

.

No, but each true child of God can begin right now to share their wealth with those who are in need.

And the greatest need in this world is for the Gospel to be freely proclaimed to souls who are lost and in spiritual darkness!

.

“MY GOD SHALL SUPPLY ALL YOUR NEED…”

And the Bible holds out this great and precious promise…“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” Luke 6:38

.

Yes, to give willingly, out of a heart filled with self-sacrificing love, means more to God than all the treasuries of riches which are forcibly taken from the working class.

.

And this above verse holds out the promise that God will take care of all the needs of any Christian who gives willingly and generously to others!

HUMANITARIANISM IS A CHEAP IMITATION OF THE TRUE

But listen to just one more verse…“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” 2nd Corinthians 9:7

This above verse endorses the kind of giving that socialism will never duplicate nor attain to!

In Every Thing Give Thanks!?!

Part 9:

“Nick Vujicic: A Pity-Party’s Worst Guest!”

until I met a man who had no feet”

A certain Christian was going through cancer treatment, and well, was questioning why God was putting him through all this.

.

“Why do I have to wear all these tubes? Why has God allowed me to go through all this pain and suffering?” These were just two of the many questions this man was asking.

.

And so, his “pity-party” went forward, day-by-day.

.

Well, one day while listening to a radio talk show, his ears perked up to an Australian voice that belonged to a man who was born with no arms and virtually no legs, except for a small stub.

.

After listening to this man’s amazing testimony about his life, this cancer patient went online to watch one of his videos.

.

Well, needless to say, this Australian man grew up under these incredibly difficult circumstances. But one day this young man was converted to Christianity. And from that new relationship with the Lord, his life began to change: for the better!

.

And now this man (still in his 30’s) goes to various schools and auditoriums to talk to young and old alike about such themes as bullying as well as Christianity (Of course, it is in his talks at schools in which he mostly speaks against bullying, and instead encourages love and kindness to one-another.)

.

But what really affected this cancer patient is how well this disabled man has adjusted to his almost unbelievably adverse circumstances! It is amazing to hear his upbeat and hopeful message! He makes them laugh, and he makes them cry, inspiring them to be kind and loving to all!

.

Well, of course, any Christian knows, or at least should know that it is God working through this man that gives him the ability to go on and do what he does!

.

And when he speaks, his audience is absolutely spell-bound! They hear every single word he says! And after he’s finished, the subject of bullying is now a dead issue in the minds of his hearers. With tears streaming from their eyes they file past this man, Nick Vujicic, and one-by-one hug him as they leave the auditorium.

.

Well, needless to say, that cancer patient felt really petty for being angry with God. After all, just look how mightily the Lord is using Nick to spread the Word of Christ to the world! Just look how God has blessed Nick with a wonderful wife and children! Just look at all the many amazing talents that Nick possesses!

.

Yes, God “dealt to Nick a very tough hand of cards to play with”, as the saying goes! But God has turned Nick’s very tragic life into an incredible ministry and a wonderful inspiration and encouragement to all who are going through various types of pain and suffering!

.

But beware! Nick is the last guy you want to see showing up at your very own pity-party!

.

I didn’t understand all that Ephesians 6 was talking about. “What does it mean to put on ‘the breast plate of righteousness'”? This was very puzzling to me… “How does a person just put something like that on?” This was a concept above my comprehension.

***“And how does a person ‘put on the helmet of salvation'”,* I thought to myself… *“especially while Satan is condemning and accusing every moment?”***

.

“And how do you put on the shoes, with the gospel of peace’?” I couldn’t understand these concepts. I was too new in the faith.

.

ONE CONCEPT THAT DID MAKE SENSE…

.

But there was one thing I could understand. I knew what it meant to take the “sword of the spirit, which is the word of God”. Now that I got! Read the Bible! That’s a simple concept! Yeah!

.

For with what judgment ye judge,

In the April 24 devotional (click here to read) it was revealed that when the Moon is full, there are three faces etched into its surface: one that appears as a man, the second face as a wolf (or some similar dog-like beast), and the third face as a rabbit, or perhaps a mouse.

PHARISEEISM: THE SPIRIT OF PRIDE

.

But these two devotionals are focusing on the second face, the wolf-like beast.

(The sketch on left is given to make his face more easily discernable)

If you will notice, this creature appears to have somewhat of a judgmental facial expression. Yes, one of his eyebrows is raised, causing him to appear as if he is looking down at the world with a judgmental eye.

.

This face represents a proud Pharisee. This is because the Pharisees were a class of very moral spiritual leaders. And the Pharisees looked down on others with a judgmental eye (much like this wolf-like Moon beast).

.

OUR FAVORITE PASTIME!

.

Just what do you think is the greatest and most loved pastime in this world? Is it basketball? Baseball? Football? Soccer? Tennis?

.

Well, when we get right down to it, we might say that the greatest and most beloved of all pastimes in this world is “judging others”!

.

After all, if one could actually take account of his or her daily thoughts it might be discovered that more time is spent in judgmental criticizing of others than we would even imagine or care to believe!

.

Quite often, we are not even consciously aware that we are judging others. It comes so naturally to us; it is as easy as breathing! We just do it! As we work, as we walk, as we converse with others, we are constantly judging, “accusing…excusing”, criticizing, and condemning others in our thoughts, and at times, even in our words! (See Romans 2:15 for “accusing…excusing” reference)

.

LIVING IN A PROUD, FINGER-POINTING WORLD

.

And certainly, the mass media promotes judging of others! If one could honestly analyze the television or radio, judging others is a constant underlying theme. Take for example, talk shows. Judging the behavior of others is mostly the daily mental diet which these pharisean programs feed their audience! “Oh that horrible politician!” Or, “Oh, that dishonest businessman!” Or, “Just look at that filthy-looking person!”

.

These are so often the kinds of thoughts which run through our hearts and minds as we go about our day, whether we are aware of it or not.

.

SATAN STEALS OUR PERFECT PEACE

.

One great problem with listening to Satan’s whisperings, is that this is how this “Accuser of our brethren” gains access into our hearts and minds (see Revelation 12:10). And once we allow him access, he often begins to torment us with all sorts of “evil surmisings” about the motives of others. (1st Timothy 6:4)

.

We must remember the Wise Man’s advice…“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.” Proverbs 4:24-27

.

Yes, to guard the avenues to the soul, not allowing Satan any access, is our first and foremost duty!

.

GOD IS THE ONLY RIGHTEOUS JUDGE!

.

But the sad and fearful reality is, to point the accusing finger at another living soul is to place ourselves on God’s Judgment Throne against that erring person…“There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?” James 4:12

.

But as our signature verse for today points out… “For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.” Matthew 7:1, 2

.

Yes, God is the Searcher of hearts. And if we have been elected to be His royal priesthood, then we know that He will be sifting and purifying us from all our unjust judging. And when we engage in our proud finger-pointing at others, we must realize that there are three fingers pointing back at us…from Heaven!

.

SLIP-SLIDING IN OUR OWN MUDDY WAYS!

.

And so, if you or I do not wish to take the long road to Heaven, we need to replace our critical arrogance with a meek and lowly Spirit, grasping what Paul finally realized…“This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.” 1st Timothy 1:15

.

**Yes, we need to take this same attitude: “I am the chief of sinners”. And God will assist us in this process, allowing us to we are just as guilty as others!**

.

And just as Peter (in Luke 22:31) had to be “sifted as wheat” because of his foolish pride, so too will God allow us to walk through the purifying fires of tribulation: that our self-righteous pride will be purged away and replaced by a humble and meek and lowly Spirit.

.

***“GOOD* *NEWS FROM A FAR COUNTRY!”***

Proverbs 25:25

.

But the Good News is, that this is still the day of Salvation! And we can use our remaining time here spending many hours contemplating God’s Word, in hopes of allowing Him to regain His rightful place on the throne of our heart.

.

And who knows? Maybe by aggressively and prayerfully pursuing His heart-cleansing Word, we can spare ourselves a lot of needless and painful and discouraging hours slip-sliding in our own muddy ways, all because we foolishly judged others!

This nation was founded upon the principle of “freedom of political and religious speech”.

This was a response which this nation’s founding fathers implemented to be a safe-guard against the same kind of oppression that went on for centuries in Europe, in which freedom of speech and liberty of conscience were not allowed.

And this very critical component of this nation’s liberty has survived for over two centuries now.

MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE?

A certain Internet news organization has dubbed the CEOs of the major search engines and social web-giants as “Masters of the Universe”, because of their vast power to control so much of the world’s freedom of speech. Yes, once these companies were finally allowed (by paying off corrupt politicians) to achieve almost total monopolistic control of the Internet, they decided it was safe for them to become self-appointed “thought police”.

And it’s true, that these few individuals have been placed in a position which allows them to send “bots” through the Internet universe to seek and to search out any website that is publishing articles which these so-called, “Masters of the Universe” consider to be harmful or offensive, “politically incorrect”, in some way.

HATE SPEECH?

Now of course, in this day and age, society cannot come right out and ban freedom of speech. At least, not yet in this country.

No, but rather, Satan has craftily worked in the shadows to enact seemingly “good” laws which supposedly, “help people out”, by banning what has become known as, “Hate Speech”. Yes, in the name of so-called, “social justice”, our society is attempting to “protect us” by banning any speech they deem, “harmful” in some way.

And just what do they consider, “Hate Speech”?

THE WORLD “FRAMES MISCHIEF” BY ENACTING UNJUST LAWS

Here is a prophecy which is just now finding its grand fulfillment, as society begins to enact unjust laws and social maxims, which will ultimately be used to silence the true Gospel!

SATAN’S USEFUL PAWNS

And these so-called, “Masters of the Universe”, are working under the guise that they are only “protecting the public” by banning any speech which seems hateful to them, or that can, “cause a riot”, or is offensive in some way, etc…

But truth-be-told, these “Masters of the Universe” are merely useful pawns (as we all are, prior to Salvation) in the hands of “the god of this world”, Lucifer, now called, “The Devil” and “Satan”.

.

Yes, they are merely humans guided by unseen evil angels, who are carrying out the master-plan of God’s archenemy, Satan! And he will soon cut off the true Gospel from being preached. Even now, such websites have seemingly been “blacklisted” by a certain search-engine “Goliath”, and only gets a trickle of daily visitors, compared to months and years past. Hopefully, this situation will change, if God desires it.

“SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES”

But the fact is, it is not the CEOs who are doing all this mischief on the Internet. No, but rather, that old serpent, the Devil, is the actual “Master of this Antichrist World” who is cutting off the true Gospel. And the only gospels which might be allowed to continue to be preached will probably be those who preach only soft and non-offensive and worldly sentiments! The worldly-minded prosperity gospels!

Listen…“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12

.

Here above, is revealed that our struggle is not against mere humans. No, but rather, our battle is against the forces of the darkness of this world: invisible armies headed up by the true “Master of his own Universe”, Lucifer, the invisible fallen rebel angel, now reigning and ruling over this fallen, evil planet!

Well, the Good News in all this bad report is, that even though it becomes more and more difficult to preach the true Gospel, the Lord will not be hindered in His purpose for His people!

For the Lord will polish His precious jewels (His faithful followers), so that a Believer will shine increasingly more brightly until he (or she) will dazzle, yea, even blind any unbelieving onlooker, to the point that the onlooker will, “so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.” 1st Corinthians 14:25

LOCATING THE DRAGON

.

The Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months. The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield. This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is the very same constellation that comprises the head of Taurus the Bull.

.

In other words, Hyades is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull. And Hyades is the mouth of this Dragon.

.

The tip of the Dragon’s tail is composed of that star-cluster known as The Pleiades. The Pleiades is actually in the shape of a lion’s furry tassel tip of his tail. The sketch below shows this Pleiades as the tail tip.

.

Now with aid of a dark starry night, you may begin to connect this mouth and the tail with a very long body in an oval shape. The front and back legs are very well-defined with stars. The front legs are made partially of Taurus. The back legs and rear fin are made of the Cetus Constellation. But the long oval-shaped body has relatively few stars, but can been seen, howbeit with a dark starry night. The four stars of the front fins are made partially of Taurus. This Dragon constellation appears in the eastern horizon about mid-summer in the pre-dawn hours, spewing his flood-waters northward toward the Woman of Revelation 12 (Woman in Travail). The Wave of Water is primarily composed of the Constellation Auriga. The are two more less bright stars which are closest to the Dragon’s mouth. These two dimmer stars are also part of this Wave of Water.

There is a saying in the world, “It’s a ‘win-win’ situation!” Have you heard that saying? In other words, this saying makes the point that “no matter what the outcome, the participants come out winners in one way or another.”

Yes, the world is very wise about worldly matters. They sense when some venture is going to pay off! Especially those involved in stock-market trading. They are usually very savvy individuals.

EVERYTHING IN THIS WORLD IS A “LOSE-LOSE” DEAL

But for some reason, we humans just cannot see the big picture! Oh yes, we can see many “win-win” deals in this world.

But we cannot seem to see that the supposed “win-win” deals are actually “lose-lose” deals when we step back and look at them from a long-term vantage point.

Take sports, for example. My team might be winning this season. But sooner or later, they’re going to start losing.

The same with politics. My political party might be presently enjoying big victories. But sooner or later, the opposing party is going to start enjoying victories.

You might say that both sports and politics are a ‘lose-lose’ endeavor. Eventually my side is going to lose!

Yes, it’s a ‘Lose-Lose’ world we live in. We might be successful this year. But next year has no guarantees. Any one of a thousand different calamities could fall upon us and wipe us out!

And even a poor, beggarly street person is better than the greatest and richest king who now lies dead in his grave! Especially if that living beggar chooses to follow The Good Shepherd into Life Everlasting!

Yes, even the beggar has hope that he or she might turn and be saved…“For to him that is joined to all the living, there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion” Ecclesiastes 9:4

Yes, to all the living there is still hope! In that sense, a living dog is, indeed, far better off than a dead lion!

THE FLOWER OF THE FIELD CONSTELLATION

Well, God has given us a great sign in the night-heavens. It is called the “Flower of the Field Constellation”. It was formerly known as Scorpio (plus a few stars from neighboring constellations).

.

You see, this amazing constellation begins very upright in the spring. But as summer turns to fall, this constellation appears to bow down, just like actual flowers do when winter draws near.

.

THIS WORLD WILL CRUMBLE

And this present world is much like the flower of the field. Yes, most every living thing in this world enjoys a season of strength and vitality. But it won’t be long until they begin to bow down and eventually wither and die.

Even many inanimate things do the same. Various man-made institutions have their life-span. They thrive for some years. But eventually they fail and fall away. Even nations have their own ‘time in the sun’, so to speak.

.

But eventually they begin to bow down like the little flower, or they crumble like the castle made of sand.

THE FLOWER OF THE FIELD CONSTELLATION

This is perhaps one of the most amazing constellations that God has created! It truly looks like a flower, and appears to be blowing in the direction of westward. But as autumn draws near, this constellation appears to bow itself down, just like the flowers of Earth bow down, at the summer’s end.

.

And these are not merely obscure stars! No! These are among the biggest and brightest stars in the night heavens!

.

**The Two Turtle-Doves Constellation is also known as Sagittarius .**

.

The Flower of the Field is commonly known as Scorpio .

.

But there is another obvious aspect to this constellation group. Notice that the birds are flying in the same direction as the flower is bending; it is as if the east wind is blowing these heavenly messengers…

So here is another incredible Bible concept, written in the heavens! And God has spoken of these signs! Listen… “For ever, O LORD, Thy Word is settled in heaven.” Psalm 119:89

THE ZODIAC CONSTELLATION NAMES

By the way, it is not the purpose of www.theheavensdeclare.net to give any validity to the Zodiac or any pagan deities. But the common names of many constellations must be given, solely for the purpose of locating them on star-charts.

WHY IS THIS FLOWER POINTING UPWARD?

To the right is a star-chart from Wikipedia. The editor of this site has sketched in the Flower of the Field Constellation on this constellation commonly referred to as the Scorpio Constellation (plus a few other close-by bright stars).

Do you see the long blade of grass growing from the base of the Flower of the Field? This grass blade is made of the two highest stars of the Lupus Constellation, and the two lowest stars of the Libra Constellation.

As this Wikipedia star-chart shows, the flower appears to be pointing to Arcturus and the Revelation 12 Woman (shown in sketch below). Arcturus represents Jesus, as He leads His sons (and daughters) on a spiritual journey up a heavenward pathway, as is written… “Canst you bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or can you guide Arcturus with his sons?” Job 38:32.

As one looks to the south, a great constellation commonly referred to as Scorpio, begins to appear in early spring.

.

But God purposely created this constellation to look like a giant flower.

.

Yes, in the springtime, when flowers of the earth begin to appear, so does this great “Flower of the Field Constellation”!

And if this is not amazing enough, as spring turns to summer and summer turns to fall, this great flower appears to bow down, even as earthly flowers begin to bow down and eventually wilt and die.

Likewise, as time races by, we too eventually bow down, wither, and finally return to the earth.

Yes, it was not until about the twentieth century that the movie camera was able to record the progressive downturn of once lovely, once handsome superstars!

And like never before, people can see how temporal and fleeting that our lives really are!

TIME SPEEDS UP!

And let’s face it, the older we get the more rapid that time passes! It is like a locomotive that gradually picks up more and more steam, finally racing down the tracks of time, speeding towards its final destination!

GOOD NEWS!

Well, the very Good News in all this negativity is that we don’t have to accept the same fate as the little flower of the field! No, for God has created another flower constellation, known as the “Flower of Heaven Constellation”!

.

This is made up of several constellations, and appears at the end of winter, as the Signs Of Heaven story ends. And this constellation has attached itself to the “Altar Constellation” and represents all those who are redeemed from this dying planet!

.

Yes, even though we start out as the fading Flower of the Field, we can hitch a ride, so to speak, on the Altar of Heaven, the very same altar where the Lamb of God was once sacrificed on our behalf!

.

**And by so-doing, we will become like a Flower of Heaven where the roses never fade, but will bloom for all eternity in that beautiful Promised Land, a land overflowing with milk and honey!**

THE FLOWER OF THE FIELD CONSTELLATION

This is perhaps one of the most amazing constellations that God has created! It truly looks like a flower, and appears to be blowing in the direction of westward. But as autumn draws near, this constellation appears to bow itself down, just like the flowers of Earth bow down, at the summer’s end.

.

And these are not merely obscure stars! No! These are among the biggest and brightest stars in the night heavens!

.

**The Two Turtle-Doves Constellation is also known as Sagittarius .**

The Flower of the Field is commonly known as Scorpio .

.

But there is another obvious aspect to this constellation group. Notice that the birds are flying in the same direction as the flower is bending; it is as if the east wind is blowing these heavenly messengers…

“The wind blows where it desires, and you hear the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it comes, and where it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. John 3:8.

So here is another incredible Bible concept, written in the heavens! And God has spoken of these signs! Listen… “For ever, O LORD, Thy Word is settled in heaven.” Psalm 119:89

WHY IS THIS FLOWER POINTING UPWARD?

To the right is a star-chart from Wikipedia. The editor of this site has sketched in the Flower of the Field Constellation on this constellation commonly referred to as the Scorpio Constellation (plus a few other close-by bright stars).

Do you see the long blade of grass growing from the base of the Flower of the Field? This grass blade is made of the two highest stars of the Lupus Constellation, and the two lowest stars of the Libra Constellation.

As this Wikipedia star-chart shows, the flower appears to be pointing to Arcturus and the Revelation 12 Woman (shown in sketch below). Arcturus represents Jesus, as He leads His sons (and daughters) on a spiritual journey up a heavenward pathway, as is written… “Canst you bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or can you guide Arcturus with his sons?” Job 38:32.

What in the world is going on here!?

This world is getting out of control, isn’t it?

The hatred and strife is reaching such a feverish pitch that people are really getting nervous, to put it mildly.

And they’re confused about it, too! After all, it seems like the things we’ve always trusted in are beginning to crumble like the proverbial castle-made-of-sand!

A WOMAN IN TRAVAIL

Yes, as this above verse reveals, the world’s destruction is coming “as travail upon a woman with child…”.

And as most people understand, when a woman goes into birth pangs, these painful contractions begin to get closer and closer together in time until they are in rapid succession, causing the childbirth to finally come.

And isn’t it true that the troubles coming on this world have seemed like birth pangs? Just a few years ago, troubles came and went. But today, it seems like troubles are now happening in rapid succession, much like labor pains just prior to birth! The earth is beginning to shake!

As a matter of fact, this concept of a woman in labor pains is actually inscribed in the very night sky!

You see, in the spring, if you look to the north, the constellation commonly known as Ursa major actually looks like a headless woman who is with child.

REVELATION 12 WOMAN CONSTELLATION

This page is about the Big Dipper, also called the Great Bear constellation (Ursa Major ). However, the ancient pagan cultures did not see this constellation as God intended it to be seen. It is actually a headless woman in childbirth. This is seen in springtime. It is seen in the northern skies.

But as the seasons progress, this travailing woman flips upside down, now appearing as a woman with upraised arms like eagle wings who is running (eventually flying, as shown in sketch on right) into the wilderness (westward).

We have grown up in a world which has its own way of doing things.

From cradle to grave, we are taught to solve our own problems: by our own strength and wit, we are encouraged to fight every battle to gain or to retain the things that we think we own or deserve.

WE DO NOT WAR LIKE THE WORLD

Today’s signature passage from 2nd Corinthians lays out this basic concept of the difference between how the world fights and how Christians must learn to fight…“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

Here above, God lays out, through Paul, a vastly different manner of fighting the battles which come upon us daily. It’s so unlike the way that this world conducts themselves, that it’s no wonder we put Jesus on the Cross! After all, He totally condemned our faithless ways: the self-trusting ways of fallen humanity!

Yes, we humans strive on a daily basis.

We often browbeat or yell others into submission.

Or we might take our adversaries to court.

Or we often scold rude cashiers.

Or we may get angry when we feel mistreated.

Or we rush to be first in line to get that coveted item before others get it.

**Or we may feel that we must push and shove, “to claw our way up to the top”.**

We want revenge.

We often get very territorial.

We refuse to bend.

We hang on tightly to our wealth and possessions.

We covet.

We despise.

We criticize.

We retaliate.

We exact.

We judge others.

We gossip.

We protest.

We get jealous.

We refuse to let go.

In other words, we insist on doing it, “our way”, instead of leaning on the everlasting Arms of the Great Provider of all things.

And such faithless ways only rob us of attaining and enjoying that perfect peace promised to us in Isaiah 26:3…“THOU wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed upon THEE: because he trusteth in THEE!”

But Jesus came to show us the ways of faith. Yes, by putting His complete trust in His heavenly Father, Jesus gave us the pattern for living by faith in the great and precious promises found throughout Scripture.

He confidently realized that all of His necessities would be supplied by His Father in due season. And that confidence allowed Him to go through His life here on earth in perfect peace, never striving, never grabbing, never manipulating, never forcing others to do according to His own will.

.

If there was any striving in His life it was in prayer, patiently waiting in faith.

.

“But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”

.

And so, as followers of Jesus, we have our work cut out for us. We must hide all those “exceeding great and precious promises” in our hearts, so that we can live by them; so that we can more-and-more place our complete confidence and trust in God to supply our every need: in His own time, and in His own way.

And such a faith-filled life as this can often be a struggle. But through patience and prayer and day-by-day experience in Heaven’s ways, our faith-walk will become more-and-more like our Divine Shepherd, as He leads us onward and upward upon the golden pathway to the blessed and beautiful Promised Land!

ORION THE SOLDIER

7 MAJOR STARS OF ORION…

Orion Constellation can best be seen all winter (but even in August in the pre-dawn hours of morning in eastern skies) traveling east to west through the night, in mid-sky. To find the seven major stars of Orion (one star on each shoulder and one star on each foot, plus the three stars which make his belt), you can locate on just about any clear night regardless of the blackness of the night.

To find Orion’s other stars, you need more star-visibility…a darker, moonless night, and possibly away from city lights.

On the front cover of that revolutionary Sergeant Pepper album by The Beatles is a photo of Aleister Crowley (along with many other photos of various infamous persons): Crowley being a well-known Satanist from England, active during the 1st half of the Twentieth Century.

And through the last decades since then, Crowley has become a true cult hero (or better described, “an OCCULT hero”!)

Yes, Aleister Crowley has been the inspiration for rock-n-roll groups such as The Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Black Sabbath, etc., and also the role-model for many hallucinatory drug advocates over the past decades.

But the focus of today’s devotional is not on Aleister Crowley’s fame & magnetism, nor on his literary productions, nor on his occultish religion, and certainly not on his drug-use!

**But let’s instead put on our heavenly Son-glasses and examine this demented and self-deceived individual through the prism of the Word of Truth, The Bible.**

CROWLEY, “THE BEAST”?

.

The greatest evil of Aleister Crowley and other similar individuals throughout history, is that those who are unlearned and unskilled in the Word of Life, The Bible, tend to look at all this black magic and think to themselves, “Well, Crowley was truly an evil dude! And he was definitely Satan’s ‘Wing-man!'”

(“Word of Life” found in 1st John 1:1 & Philippians 2:16)

**Why, even Crowley’s own mother referred to her son as “The Beast”, a title which Crowley is said to have enjoyed, even as a young boy!**

But those who are indeed skilled in the Word, realize that men and women like Crowley are merely Satan’s “straw-men”, designed to deceive naive souls and even naive and unlearned church-attendees.

After all, let’s remember what the Bible has to say about this present world…“And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.” 1st John 5:19

Now, this above verse doesn’t say that SOME or even MOST of the world lieth in wickedness. No, but rather, the Apostle, John, reveals that “the WHOLE WORLD lieth in wickedness”!

BY COMPARISON, EVIL CROWLEY MAKES THE WORLD LOOK GOOD!

And let’s face it! Such evil men as Aleister Crowley make most other people look pretty good by comparison! And so, Crowley and other similar characters become an evil “Straw-man”, causing people to erroneously believe that there are a lot of “good people” in this world, when compared to Crowley’s wickedness.

And so, there is a general consensus in society, that evil only reigns in the wicked hearts of all despicable, lost souls such as Aleister Crowley!

But the Apostle, Paul, reveals the true condition of Mankind…“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one…there is none that doeth good, no, not one…Destruction and misery are in their ways…” Romans 3:10, 12, 16

As this verse reveals, “there is NONE that doeth good, NO, NOT ONE!”

At this point, many will ask…“So, what’s the big deal anyway? Why in the world does it matter whether I believe that the WHOLE world or just SOME of the world is evil?”

Well, for one thing, if I believe that there are a lot of seemingly “good people” in the world, then I will probably mix freely with those whom society considers to be “morally upright”.

***“COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM, AND BE YE* *SEPARATE!”***

But the Bible warns us concerning the unsaved people that they “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” 2nd Timothy 3:5

**This above verse is a stark warning from God NOT to freely mingle with unbelievers just because they seem moral, “Having a form of godliness”.**

.

And combined with similar passages such as 2nd Corinthians 6:14-18 (which warns against having fellowship with the unsaved), we realize that God really means business when He commands us to “come out from among them, and be ye separate!”

Well, the Good News in all this is that today is still the day of Salvation!

And any man, woman, or child can unceasingly plead for grace to turn away from our misguided conception of the world and divine strength to begin our Heavenward spiritual sojourn out of this evil world.

REVELATION 12 WOMAN CONSTELLATION

WOMAN ROTATES THROUGH THE SEASONS…

This page is about the Big Dipper, also called the Great Bear constellation (Ursa Major ). However, the ancient pagan cultures did not see this constellation as God intended it to be seen. It is actually a headless woman in childbirth. This is seen in springtime. It is seen in the northern skies.

.

But as the seasons progress, this travailing woman flips upside down, now appearing as a woman with upraised arms like eagle wings who is running (eventually flying, as shown in sketch on right) into the wilderness (westward). The single star representing her birth-child (Christ) now becomes her head (“Christ is the head of the church.” Ephesians 5:23

.

The 7 Stars (Big Dipper) is easy to see with its very bright 7 stars. But the Revelation 12 Woman (Ursa Major) must be seen on a dark starry night, away from city lights.

Prayer In A Fragile World!

“Praying Yourself To Sleep”

commune with your own heart

upon your bed,

and be still.

It’s so tragic that the citizens of this fallen world do not understand nor appreciate the God-given joy which Christians supernaturally experience in such things as Bible study, prayer, Christian fellowship, and partaking of Christ’s agape love for the unsaved world.

.

But the Christian, through the indwelling of God’s Spirit of holiness, is infilled with a love for heavenly things which he or she once had no love, nor stomach for!

.

Psalm 4:4

But today’s devotional will direct its focus on prayer. And not just prayer, but praying while waiting for sleep.

.

Yes, it is a real privilege and a true joy to just lie in bed and simply reach out to our heavenly Father in heartfelt prayer!

.

And for those who have trouble sleeping for one reason or another, prayer while lying in bed can be an even greater joy! (or perhaps, to listen to a nice soft audio version of Psalms may be a great way for many of us to fall asleep, and then wake again to the Psalms, and then, to fall back asleep again! And with today’s technology, the listener might be able to slow down the speed of the audio-reader, to more fully grasp what is being read!)

.

And let’s face it! It’s not very pleasant to just lie in bed, hour after hour, not being able to fall asleep.

.

But to use one’s sleepless hours in prayer can really greatly alleviate much of the torment that sleeplessness can inflict upon a person!

.

Well, this is the simple little truth that today’s devotional would like to make.

THE HOLY AND MOST HOLY PLACE

.

“And thou shalt put the Mercy Seat upon the Ark of the Testimony in the Most Holy Place.” Exodus 26:34

.

The Tabernacle in the wilderness was a picture of God. Just listen to Revelation… “And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.” Revelation 21:22.

.

So, instead of dwelling upon all the fine points of the earthly tabernacle, let it suffice to be said, this earthly tabernacle is merely a metaphor of God Himself. And the Most Holy Place is the heart of that temple, and upon the Ark, represents God’s throne, as is written…

.

“And David arose…to bring up from thence, the ark of God…the LORD of hosts that dwells between the cherubims.” 2nd Samuel 6:2.

.

So, if, as it states here, that God dwells “between the cherubims”, then this is speaking of the Mercy Seat over the Ark. But even though it speaks thus, we need to keep in mind that the temple itself, represents God Himself, as is written… “And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.” Rev. 21:22.

ARK SEEN IN HEAVEN

.

“And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of His testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.” Rev. 11:19

.

The above verse from Revelation, speaks of God’s Temple in Heaven being opened. But this great constellation, the Sagittarius Constellation is actually the constellation of the Ark of the Covenant. So these two events go hand in hand simultaneously. The Ark Constellation, as sketched into this Wikipedia star-chart, is a representation of the heavenly Ark, as God begins to open up the spiritual concepts of that true Ark to our minds.

Of course, neither of these two ideologies will exist in the New Heaven and the New Earth. And yet, for now it seems that we must suffer these two ideologies to continue for a while longer.

BUYING AND SELLING

In other words, the economy of buying and selling is found throughout the Old and New Testaments, while socialism is never promoted nor condoned. Oh yes, socialism has “a form of godliness”, and yet it attempts to help out the needy while being void the Spirit of true love and compassion.

Yes indeed, Heaven has a true love and a genuine compassion. But the love and compassion which this world exhibits are void of the Holy Spirit, making it merely a cheap imitation of the true.
