On current talk shows, large groups of citizens are sometimes chosen to offer suggestions on how to solve the current perplexing issues which are apparently taking this world down into destruction.

And these discussions are usually heated, to say the least! Each person has their own idea of how to solve the growing crisis in the world.

.

One person advocates “more government”.

.

The next person says “less government”.

.

Another says “more taxes”.

.

Another, “less taxes”.

.

One person recommends a stronger police force.

.

Yet another wants to abolish the police altogether.

.

Another calls for a stronger military…

.

And on and on goes the discussions.

.

A VERY HEATED DISCUSSION!

Well, these discussions are never ending.

.

People often shout over one another.

.

And frequently, the hosts just barely keep these discussions from getting completely out-of-hand!

All are fully engaged and passionate about their own personal “solution” to the world’s problems.

HOW TO SOLVE IN 5 MINUTES OR LESS!

But since this website has no representatives present at these discussions (well, no human representatives present), it will now take this opportunity to offer its own solution to the growing cancer which appears to be destroying this society and this world.

.

So, the title of this devotional is, “How To Solve The World’s Problems in 5 Minutes or Less”. And just how can this be accomplished?

.

How could the world’s problems all be possibly solved in such a short time?

.

That’s an insane idea!

IF WE ALL TURNED TO JESUS…

OK, well just imagine that the entire world decided to turn to Jesus and begin to walk in His ways.

Just imagine how differently all the matters of life would be handled!

.

For instance, just think about all the little squabbles that happen daily in this world. Squabbles within the family, the neighborhood, the workplace, in government, and between all the various governments! GONE!

.

Yes, all those squabbles would be replaced by meekness and humility, and even by brotherly love! No more would pride get in the way of harmonious relationships! And all selfish motives would be replaced by unselfish kindness! People would be willing to give up an argument for the sake of maintaining peaceful relationships!

LIKE OLD EBENEEZER SCROOGE!

And what about hunger and poverty?

.

Gone, gone!!

.

Well, because the Bible encourages generosity, there would be an immediate effort to share with those who are underfed and needy of the basic necessities of life.

.

It would be like Ebeneezer Scrooge’s morning of repentance times 7 billion! Just like Scrooge on the morning after the night of his ghostly epiphanies, multitudes would be skipping down the streets, singing and joyfully sharing with those who are truly needy!

.

The great masses, now all indwelt by the Holy Ghost, would realize that they will live forever, and respond as if miraculously cured from some terminal illness!

.

There would be singing and dancing and hugging and shouts of joy heard on every street in every town and city, in every nation around the world!

.

Former terrorists would throw away their weapons of war!

.

Thieves would return what they had stolen!

.

SATAN WOULD LOSE HIS POWER

And the Devil! What about the Devil?

Well, he would quickly lose his hold on people!

His power would be gone, gone, gone!!!

No more would he be able to work his woe and deception!

No longer would he be able to cause all the misery and sickness and death which he has enjoyed doing for so long!

.

His ruling authority would finally come to an end!

THE GOOD NEWS!

The Good News is that God will soon replace this current failing world-system with His own government of Christlike love.

.

And all those who are tired of supporting this current Antichrist-system still have the opportunity to finally renounce Lucifer’s government of selfishness, and get on-board this soon-coming new heavenly government.

THE INHABITANTS OF THE WORLD FALLEN?

And for those who think this is a ridiculous idea to imagine the entire world repenting and turning back to the Lord, may indeed be correct.

And yet, God holds out the possibility by saying the following…“We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.” Isaiah 26:18 .

.

This above verse from Isaiah reveals that because God’s people have not rightly represented God to the world, the world’s inhabitants have not fallen. That is, the people of this world of sin have not surrendered their rebellion.

“every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.”

Romans 14:11

Listen to 1st Corinthians 14:25…“And thus are the secrets of his (the unbeliever’s) heart made manifest; and so falling down (on his) face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth!”

Yes, this verse from 1st Corinthians speaks in similar language to Isaiah 26:18, using the term, “falling” to refer to “surrendering”.

“LOVE HOPES ALL THINGS!”

1st Corinthians 13

Oh yes, there are many passages which would tend to convince us that there will be plenty of lost souls at the time of Christ’s Return.

But the Bible also has plenty of passages that give us hope that there will be a mass repentance at the very end.

.

And so, while we don’t want to start teaching something that will eventually be proven wrong, neither should we get too dogmatic one way or the other on this issue, either!

THE FREE-WILL GOSPEL

Perhaps the greatest abomination which appeared during that movement was the idea that a man chooses God instead of the other way around.

Yes, this idea borne out of incomplete and careless Bible study, took such verses as…“choose you this day whom ye will serve…but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15

.

Now just about everyone believes that God is the one that chooses Christians.

.

And yet, this so-called “Free-Will” gospel believes that because God is omnipotent, He foreknew just who would choose Him and who would not.

HUMAN WORKS WORTHLESS TO SAVE

And so, this whole notion that it is the human who first chooses to serve God is based on Salvation by Grace + Good-Works.

After all, choosing God is a good work, much like Little Jack Horner here, pulling out a plum and saying, “What a good boy am I!”.

.

It presumes that some humans have an innate inward goodness that causes them to turn to God while others refuse Salvation.

SOME HAVE INNATE GOODNESS?

And with just a quick look around the Christian landscape this idea that some men have the desire to serve God while others do not, often manifests itself in the belief that by merely saying “The Sinner’s Prayer”, or by water-baptism, or by church-attendance, or by accepting certain church-doctrines, paying tithes, partaking of the Lord’s Supper, maintaining some degree of morality, or any combination of these aforementioned good works, man thereby secures his own Salvation.

WE CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT?

One very popular man-made analogy often used is that God writes the check of Salvation, and the sinner has the choice of cashing it or not.

Another popular man-made analogy is that God puts a gift in your hands, but it is your decision to accept that gift and open it, or not.

Now while these human analogies may seem to possess much common sense, the Bible says just the opposite.

Listen to the Bible…“Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit,” John 15:16

.

What could be clearer than this above statement?

.

CAPTIVES OF SATAN

Yes, what could be clearer than this above statement…“Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you”?

It is not man that first chooses God.

.

After all, the Bible clearly teaches that…“In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.” 2nd Timothy 2:25, 26

.

As this above passage clarifies, the human race is captive to the Devil. And as such, they do not have free-will.

And as this passage reveals, only God can give those captives any true repentance.

.

SPIRITUALLY BLINDED BY SATAN

.

Now listen to this next passage…“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” 2nd Corinthians 4:3, 4

.

Here again is a passage which reveals the hopeless condition of Mankind; a condition which began way back in the Garden, and continues on to this very day! Mankind has been blinded to the Gospel.

Satan has blinded Mankind. They cannot choose God, nor do they want to!

So then, why does God tell us such things as the following statement from Acts 2:21, “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved.”???

STRONG DELUSION

We must understand that God presents many truths in such a way that they can easily be misinterpreted.

.

And He does this purposely to bring “strong delusion” to those who are of a “different spirit”…“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2nd Thessalonians 2:11, 12

ALL SCRIPTURE TO BE HARMONIZED

On the other hand, those who have received the love of the truth will not take such verse out of context, but instead will combine them with other verses, such as this…“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Galatians 2:8-10

BEWARE OF OLD COVENANT VERSES

.

God has written the Bible in such a way, that the Old Covenant appears in many passages.

.

Sometimes God presents truth in such a way that He puts the proverbial “cart before the horse”.

.

For example, even the New Testament has verses such as…“And we are His witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey Him.” Acts 5:32

.

Now from a quick reading, it is very easy to get the idea that God gives His Spirit to those who obey God by their own supposed goodness.

.

But nothing could be further from the truth! This verse should actually be understood that the Holy Spirit is given to CAUSE them to obey God.

.

And so, the Bible can be a very difficult Book, since God tests His people with such verses as this.

In yesterday’s devotional (click here), it was established that the Book of Revelation has been an unfolding Book since the day it was written.

The problem is that the majority of the church-world has been misled into believing that Scripture must not be interpreted spiritually and allegorically, except when context demands such a spiritual, allegorical interpretation.

REVELATION IS NOW!

.

Therefore, today’s Bible teachers cannot understand that Revelation is written in allegorical language.

.

For them, it is a closed book, to a great extent.

.

Oh yes, they may try to look out into society and see if there is some new locust-like war machine that resembles Revelation Chapter 9 composite beast.

.

But they imagine that all these things will have their fulfillment AFTER the Church has been “Raptured” out of the world.

.

“THE TIME IS AT HAND”

.

But the Book of Revelation was written by God for His Church.

.

And five times, God makes similar statements as this…“And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.” Revelation 22:10  (see also: Rev. 1:1 Rev. 1:3 Rev. 1:19 and Rev. 22:6).

.

For some reason, theologians and Bible teachers cannot discern what these verses are saying, or they merely ignore them, or even twist them until they say something completely different!

But still, the main topic of this two-part devotional series has not yet been addressed…“Perfect Peace in the Fire!”

REVELATION NOW!

.

The Book of Revelation is not only for the grand finale showdown at the end of time, but also concerning “the things which are” now. (see Revelation 1:19)

.

But the Christian may just look around and say, “I don’t see any great tribulation happening right now!”

.

Well, one reason that so many faithful church-goers do not see the Book of Revelation unfolding, is because Satan has successfully cut off the greater part of the church-world from the battle which is now raging all around them!

.

LOVE FOR THIS SELFISH WORLD!

.

That’s right! Satan has deceived and diverted the majority of the church-world away from their wholehearted devotion to the Gospel, and instead has led them into the enthusiastic pursuit of the cares and pleasures of this selfish world!

Listen to the 7th and last church written to in Revelation… “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of My mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:” Revelation 3:16, 17

.

Yes, this terrible judgment was pronounced against the Church at Laodicea (Laodicea = “people of Judgment”).

.

And isn’t it true that the Church in the industrialized nations is steeped in earthly prosperity, to a great extent?

.

PRESCRIPTION FOR SPIRITUAL LIFE

.

But to the Laodicean church, Jesus recommends the prescription for spiritual life…“I counsel thee to buy of Me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see…Behold, I stand at the door, and knock:” Revelation 3:18, 20

.

So here, Jesus counsels us to purchase from Him, this three-fold remedy.

“I HAVE CHOSEN THEE IN THE FURNACE OF AFFLICTION”

Isaiah 48:10

.

You see, “Gold tried in the fire”, refers to the trials and tribulation which all Believers must endure that they may, “come forth as (purified) gold” Job 23:10

.

And this is the theme and main point to this two-part devotional.

.

In other words, those who are willing to forsake this present world will soon discover that they have been cast into the fiery furnace of afflictions.

.

LIKE SHADRACH, MESHECH, AND ABEDNEGO

.

Yes, just as the three friends of Daniel were cast into the fiery furnace for refusing to bow to the King of Babylon’s image, so too, those who refuse to indulge themselves in the cares and pleasures of this life for Jesus’ sake, will begin to suffer various soul-purifying trials.

.

And God only allows just the necessary afflictions that He will use to strengthen our faith, and crucify that “Old Man” of the flesh that seeks to rule and reign within our soul.

THE FIERY DARTS OF THE WICKED ONE

And so, all of a sudden, various afflictions will ensue the faithful Christian: fiery trials which begin to chip away our love for this world.

And these trials will begin to require the Christian to put on his or her heavenly armor: Bible study, hourly contemplation of precious promises, and unceasing prayer will become the fortification necessary to defend against the fiery darts of the Wicked One! 

.

“LIKE…BURNISHED BRASS”

Ezekiel 1:7

And thus, these fiery trials may continue all the way until Christ returns in the clouds of glory.

.

But the Christian will find himself getting stronger and stronger.

.

And the more precious promises that he hides in his heart, the greater will be his perfect peace!

.

“PERFECT PEACE”

.

And speaking of precious promises, just listen to this grand-daddy of all promises found in Isaiah 26:3, 4…“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:”

.

Every Christian soldier must hide this precious promise in his or her heart, since it is one of the greatest over-arching truths of the Christian life!

.

Because, through trusting in God’s Word, and keeping focused upon Jesus and His sufferings for us, the Christian will gain the necessary strength to maintain that perfect peace, even in the midst of the fiery trials ahead!

“ON A SEA OF GLASS”

.

Yes, “after ye have suffered for a while” you will find yourself standing, “on a sea of glass, mingled with fire.”

.

In other words, you will be able to walk through your fiery trials with perfect peace! (see 1st Peter 5:10 & Revelation 15:2)

.

LOOSING THE BANDS OF ORION 

.

God spoke several times of Orion, in Scripture. His question to Job was a very mystifying question, to say the least… “Canst thou…loose the bands of Orion?” Job 38:31. Such a strange question, indeed! How could a constellation have its bands loosed, much less, even have bands? Puzzling, puzzling!

But now, He is revealing this bright and beautiful constellation in a way that has never before been seen. God Himself is loosing Orion’s bands, as He is just now unraveling this age-old mystery. And we are beginning to understand that this most infamous of all constellations is nothing less than a remarkable metaphor concerning Jesus.

MICHAEL, THE SOLDIER

Last is Michael the Soldier, who battles against the Dragon: “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.” Revelation 12:7, 8.

Contrary to popular opinion, Michael here represents Christ as He battles this dragon. This will be adequately proven in this article and in various other sections of this website. No, Christ is not merely an angel. Christ is very eternal God. But Christ is often represented as various entities, such as a rose, or a burning bush, as well as many others things in the Bible.

And that saying swept around the world like a wildfire…“Is God Dead!” And this mantra by the atheist community became the hot topic of conversation, seemingly everywhere!

About that same time, a world renowned pop musical group proclaimed to the world… “We’re more popular than Jesus Christ!”

Finally, after the King of Rock-n-Roll suddenly and unexpectedly died, a popular saying came about, and is still used even today… “‘The King’ has left the building!”

“WISER IN THEIR OWN GENERATION”

Well, first, let it be noted that so many things in this world of sin have a somewhat eerie connection to the Bible.

Yes, the Bible says that…“the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.” Luke 16:8

.

It seems that the people of the world have a wisdom about them that causes them to do and say things in the natural world, which can easily be translated into the spiritual realm!

.

And these three above sayings are no exception!

HOLY SPIRIT REMOVED

.

Listen to this…“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed,”  2nd Thessalonians 2:7, 8

.

So here is seen that some great restraining power will be taken out of the way, allowing, “that Wicked”, to, “be revealed”!

.

Now many correctly assign this passage to the Church, and the removal of the Holy Spirit from the apostate church-world in the last days.

But it also seems to apply very correctly to the Holy Spirit being removed from the entire world in the last moments of time!

“THE WRATH OF GOD…”

Listen to this assessment of the world by God…“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men…Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:” Romans 1:18, 29-31

Not a very nice description of mankind, wouldn’t you agree?

“GOD GAVE THEM UP!”

Now listen to the divine sentence pronounced against this rebellious planet… “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts…For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections…God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;” Romans 1:24, 26, 28

.

Three times in this 1st chapter of Romans, it is declared that God “gave them up” (the human race).

Now this prophecy is concerning the last days in particular (although it has applied to a lessor degree at any time throughout history).

GOD WORKED BEHIND THE SCENES

What the human race race doesn’t understand is just how much God protected people in the past.

We just don’t realize that the Lord has quite often plucked a little child out of harm’s way.

Nor do we understand how God helped long-lost loved ones to reunite.

Or how He secretly healed an ailing human, or rescued those who were in distress for one reason or another…

Listen…“Then they (the human race) cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses…Oh that men would praise the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!” Psalm 107:13-15

Read this entire Psalm 107! This wonderful psalm reveals just how intimately God has been involved in the affairs of men!

A TIME OF TROUBLE

But just before the end, Almighty God is going to allow mankind to experience how things will go, when God is no longer helping!

And sad to say, that day has already arrived! This is why we’re now beginning to see so many incredible horrors and unthinkable atrocities around the world!

This is why our governments are doing so many crazy things that make little or no sense!

.

This is why courts are handing down unjust decisions which also make little sense!

.

This is why our government is committing financial suicide with the economy!

.

This is why the most unthinkable crimes are now being committed!

.

This is why the government and schools are promoting sexual perversions as if they are good and wonderful!

GOOD NEWS!

There is some very Good News, however! Even though God has given up this world, He is still saving individuals!

And the invitation is now going out to every unsaved man, woman, and child…“And I (God) will show wonders in the heavens…before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered:” Joel 2:30-32

.

As we look around at all the mayhem and madness which is currently flooding the world, God is giving us a wake-up call, to turn away from this doomed planet, and return to the Lord before it’s too late!

In the first part of this discussion on yellow journalism today, it was revealed that not the news media, but Satan is the true Yellow Journalist. Yes, as “the god of this world”, Satan is the true evil dictator of this world. And yet, he so cleverly disguises himself, that he has all but erased himself out of existence, or so it seems!

.

But make no mistake, Satan and his countless evil-angels are tirelessly working around the clock to lead the world’s inhabitants into the iron-like jaws of Judgment Day.

.

And now, as never before, Satan is orchestrating the various news organizations to indoctrinate the great multitudes, both in the world, and in the churches, to prejudice their minds against the great present-truths of the Bible, which God is giving to His people for such an hour as this!

.

News story after news story are being published in attempt to prejudice the people against these truths. And story after story is being published to prejudice the great multitudes against God’s people.

.

But, as already stated, it is not the various news organizations which are behind this effort. No, it is actually the Revelation 12 Dragon and his vast armies who are busily working around the clock, publishing these subtle and not-so-subtle biased and even dishonest news stories which are seen and heard on a daily basis, on TV, radio, Internet, and newspapers/magazines.

.

So, just what is the point to highlighting these things? Simple! Let’s not be ignorant of his devices, as it says in 2nd Corinthians 2:11.

.

Well, if there is any Good News in all this, all these incredible attacks against the Bible and against God’s people, should be a clarion call to come out of Babylon! And coming out, God’s people need to flee to the spiritual Mount Sion for refuge and safety! Yes, this is the mountain on which we are to take our stand in the great showdown soon to take place, between the armies of Heaven and Hell!

.

And there are many out there, both in the world and in the churches, who will hear this trumpet blast, and begin to make necessary preparations, “To go into the clefts of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth. Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?” Isaiah 2:20, 21

.

And we need not fear, for God will supply abundant provisions for those who do flee to the spiritual mountains as is written…”He shall dwell on high: his place of defense shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure. Thine eyes shall see the king in His beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.” Isaiah 33:16, 17

.

Yes, we need not fear that by our vacating the churches, we must suffer spiritual malnutrition! No, but rather, our heavenly Manna and our waters of grace are awaiting us in those mountains!

Who Are The 144,000?

“And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion,

and with Him an hundred forty and four thousand,

having His Father’s name written in their foreheads…

These are they which were not defiled with women;

for they are virgins.

These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth.

These were redeemed from among men,

being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

And in their mouth was found no guile:

for they are without fault before the throne of God.

It is a real tragedy that Christians have allowed that great Master Deceiver to lock them out of the last 19 chapters of the Book of Revelation.

.

If only they could appreciate this above passage from Revelation 14, which speaks of the 144,000, who follow the Lamb of God whithersoever He goeth!

As a matter of fact, by carefully studying the above description of the 144,000, it becomes evident that it is speaking of ALL true followers of Jesus!

MOUNT SION, AN HEAVENLY MOUNT

.

For instance, these 144,000 all stand on Mount Sion, as is written in Hebrews 12:22…“But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,”

.

So here it reveals that the Book of Hebrews was written for ALL true Believers, not just literal Jews! We are ALL “come unto Mount Sion”, as it plainly states here!

.

A NEW SONG

.

And then Revelation 14 continues by saying, “And they sung as it were a new song before the throne,” Revelation 14:3

.

This, of course is spoken of in Psalm 40:3…“And He (God) hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.”

.

So here again, this new song which the 144,000 will sing is also given to every true Believer. Here is more proof that the 144,000 symbolize all true worshipers of God!

THE FIVE WISE VIRGINS

.

Next it says in this above passage from Revelation 14:4…“These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins.”

.

Now here is another very simple allegory concerning being defiled with women, symbolizing being defiled by apostate churches which Scripture often refers to as “women”…“for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.” 2nd Corinthians 11:2

“COME FOLLOW ME!”

Next, it says of this 144,000…“These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth.” Revelation 14:4.

.

But this is merely reiterating what Jesus says to us all…“And He saith unto them, Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed Him.” Matthew 4:19, 20

.

There are three components to this above command: 1. To follow Jesus. 2. To let Him make us into fishers of Men. 3. To forsake the pursuits of this life, that we may follow Him without distraction.

A JOY-FILLED LIFE!

.

Oh, that we could realize what a joy-filled life it is to follow Jesus! It is not at all as “the god of this world” would have us to believe. Satan works overtime to create the false illusion, that Christianity is a stark, austere, and bleak existence.

.

But what most do not realize is that by receiving the Spirit of Heaven, we actually become filled with new desires and new joys and new goals! In essence, we become brand-new beings!

.

No longer does the pursuit of this world’s selfish treasures and earthly pleasures hold our fascination.

.

Now, we are filled with the desire to imitate the Holy One, Who rules and reigns throughout the vast heavens, but even leading us humans through our each and every new day!

.

Now we are filled with the desire to let our light shine before all Mankind, that they also might also become followers of Jesus.

.

And now, we desire and delight to engage in ceaseless prayer and continual contemplation of God’s Word, as we go through our day!

WHO ARE “THE FIRST-FRUITS?”

.

Next, this 144,000 passage from Revelation reveals that, “These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.” Revelation 14:4

.

Now, by going to the New Testament Book of James, it is revealed concerning “firstfruits”…“Of His own will begat He us with the Word of Truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.” James 1:18

.

OK, so being “a kind of firstfruits of His creatures” is referring to Believers…ALL Believers!

ALL BELIEVERS ARE OF THE 12 TRIBES!

But notice who this little book of James is addressed to…“James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the TWELVE TRIBES which are scattered abroad, greeting.” James 1:1

So now it is revealed that James refers to Believers as “The Twelve Tribes”. Well here is a Bible truth which totally demolishes this false and non-biblical doctrine called, “Replacement Theology”.

No wonder that the Bible never uses this unbiblical term, “Replacement Theology!”

.

No wonder that Satan had to concoct this totally non-biblical name, “Replacement Theology”!

NO GUILE

.

“And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.” Revelation 14:5

.

And so, as this above verse reveals, this 144,000 have no guile in their mouth (guile = deception or dishonesty) 

.

But this kind of honesty has been the standard for God’s people throughout time!

.

Listen…“Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.” Psalm 32:2 (see also 1st Peter 3:10)

REVELATION FOR THE CHURCH, NOT JUST JEWS!

.

And so, the Book of Revelation is proven once again to be for all God’s people, both Jews and Gentiles. And that is why the Bible repeatedly refers to Christians in such terms as “The Commonwealth of Israel”, and “The Israel of God”, and as “A Jew…inwardly”, and “the seed of Abraham”. (see Ephesians 2:1, Galatians 6:16, Romans 2:28, 29, Romans chapter 9)

.

God is no respecter of persons. He loves all Believers from every race, kindred, tongue, tribe, nation, and people!

.

And this elite group of 144,000 is essentially the true nation of Israel, comprised of both Jews and gentiles.

.

And even though these 144,000 spoken of in Revelation may indeed be a special group at the end of days, nevertheless this elect group of 144,000 has always existed at any time and in every era throughout the past 2,000 years!

.

We know this because the description of this 144,000 in Revelation 14, is a description of Christians at any time in history!

SO WHO ARE THE 144,000?

And so, just who are the 144,000? They are those who follow the Lamb up the heavenward pathway to the celestial courts above! These are those who love the Bible more than their physical food (see Job 23:12)! And they are those whose great desire is that Christ may shine brightly out from within, and give light to those who dwell in darkness and in the shadow of death! The 144,000 are, “the redeemed”, which are…“out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;” Revelation 5:9

SPECIAL LAST-HOUR FULFILLMENT

Now having said all these things, we must not think that there won’t be a grand finale to the prophecy of Revelation. Yes, the Bible informs us that the Church will finally triumph gloriously, for all the world to see!

This above passage sings of Mount Zion, in the sides of the North!

But if one looks to the Northeast in late Summer and into Fall, there is a constellation which God created to be a heavenly picture of the Heavenly Mount Zion. And it is commonly known as Cassiopeia. But God has created it to symbolize the true Zion, which is in Heaven.

Listen…  “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,” Hebrews 12:22

.

Yes, Jerusalem and Mount Zion here on earth are merely earthly types, to represent the true Heavenly Jerusalem and Mount Zion.

LOCATING HEAVENLY MOUNT ZION

But if the Reader will go out in August and well into November, this wonderful constellation can be seen in the Northeast night-sky. But don’t wait too long! Because once it enters the western sky, it flips upside down and can no longer be seen as a mountain.

Now, this constellation is the very same constellation as the Mount of Blessing Constellation in the Valley of Decision Constellation Group. And it represents the favored mountain to which the people of God are to climb.

There are many who ask the question, “Why is God wanting us to give up all these things, only to live an austere life? What’s wrong with enjoying all these things He has provided for our happiness?”

The call is now going out…”18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation

God is calling His people to come out of Babylon: Babylon the world, and Babylon the worldly Church.

.

Oh no, we cannot just yet come all the way out of Babylon the world. We still must work and live here and provide for the needs and comfort of our families.

.

But God is wanting to show off His precious and highly polished jewels as it says in Malachi. And as long as we are intertwined with the selfish wares and ways of this sinful world, it is impossible for the world to truly see Christ in us! We merely appear as a compromised people to the onlooking world.

.

And so, God has now begun His program to purify His people from the Babylonish pollutions all around us. He wants His people to shine as the Sun as we reflect the glorious light of Jesus Christ in all His purity!

And so, God is calling us out of our compromised circumstances to the point that Christ is clearly seen in us!

Perhaps because of the dangers from hostile enemies.

Or because of famine or pestilence.

Or merely from the desire to explore and discover new places.

Whatever the reason, humans have always blazed new trails.

Now, quite often, those trailblazers have left markings along the way, to guide others who were to follow.

Maybe they left cuttings in trees.

.

Or maybe they left various rock formations.

.

Many of them made crude maps of their journey.

But whatever the markings, these became a great assist for those who followed.

THE BIBLE A MAP

Now the Bible itself is a type of map.

It shows us the way to Heaven.

Yes, in a very real sense, there is a pathway which God’s people must walk, that leads to the Celestial City of God.

The great problem is, that the Enemy of Souls has obscured that well-marked pathway to Heaven, with many misleading signposts!

In other words, Satan has introduced many false doctrines which have greatly confused the true heavenward pathway!

And as a result, God’s people have left the true pathway, and have taken a wrong turn on a spurious pathway which the Bible calls, “The Broad Way that leads to destruction!”

More and more, the Church has become filled with false doctrines and worldly pollutions.

“Foolish talk and jesting” and “mockery”. Ephesians 5:2 & Proverbs 14:9

.

Earthly prosperity and mammon-loving gospels. (1st Timothy 1:6)

.

Sensual dress and fashion. Fads and “hip” behavior. (1st Timothy 2:9 & Hebrews 13:8)

.

Clubs and organizations. (2nd Corinthians 6:14)

.

Television, games and entertainments. (1st Corinthians 15:33)

.

False doctrines, such as “Eternal Torment”, “Pre-Tribulation Rapture theory”, “Free-will Salvation”, “False hermeneutics which forbid spiritualizing Scripture”. (2nd Timothy 3:16, 17)

.

All these and a host of other unbiblical elements have been brought into Christianity in hopes of misleading and destroying God’s people from the true narrow pathway.

It is Satan’s design to keep God’s people from making their spiritual exodus out of this world!

.

And these aforementioned world-loving elements only keep God’s people prisoners in this lost world!

LOCATING CASTOR AND POLLUX…

.

These two sketches below are the same picture, one with stars only, the other with embellishments. These stars appear more or less like this when they are in the western sky, just before they sink below the western horizon (please excuse the less-than 100% accurate sketch). At the top of the sketches in the center is the Big Dipper. But with other surrounding stars, the Big Dipper is known as Ursa Major or the Great Bear. But as this website points out, Ursa Major is actually the Revelation 12 Woman. (Ursa Major appears much larger in the sky than this sketch shows. But in order to fit her into this drawing, the artist had to depict her much smaller)

IN THE WEST

This most amazing phenomenon is seen throughout the winter, and even into June at the beginning of night. It is seen best when it is the western part of the sky. Orion, the Dragon, and the Glorious Horse are beginning to descend into the western horizon. And at this point it is apparent that the Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation is veering toward the Narrow Gate Stars as you can see just to the left of the mountain.

A dark night is best for seeing this. It begins with the Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation going towards these two doors. The doors are each composed of two bright stars.

.

The two bright stars that comprise the Narrow Gate are the two brightest stars of the Orion the Reaper’s sickle.

.

.

The two stars that comprise the Wide Gate Stars (to the right of the mountain) are the two brightest stars of the Wave of Water (AKA Auriga Constellation) that comes out of the Dragon Constellation’s mouth (for explanation of “Wave of Water”, just click here). The stars that make up the Narrow Gate are about one-third less the width of the Wide Gate. The two bright stars which symbolize the Wide Gate are Capella and Menkalinan. These are the brightest two stars of the Auriga Constellation. (For more information on Orion’s sickle, just click here, “Orion The Reaper”. )

ABOVE PICTURE: Revelation 12 Woman (Ursa Major Constellation including the Big Dipper) swerving toward the NARROW GATE STARS (Castor & Pollux from Gemini Constellation) AND WIDE GATE STARS (the two brightest stars from Auriga Constellation): This is how these three constellations appear when just above the eastern horizon. The woman, however appears more in her upright “Fleeing” position than this sketch shows.  It is somewhat of an optical illusion because of the “canopy effect” of the night sky. So it is impossible to sketch this on a flat surface. Nevertheless, this sketch shows this woman appearing to be drawn toward these two warriors; the Reaper, of course is Orion  . The Dragon of Revelation 12 Constellation is not a commonly recognized constellation. His mouth is made of The Hyades Cluster of Taurus, and the tip of his tail is The Pleiades Cluster. The two bright stars on Orion The Reaper’s sickle is the Narrow Gate. And the two bright stars of the Dragon’s wave of water is the Wide Gate. When in the eastern sky it is not so clear as to which Gate she will enter. Woman is commonly known as Ursa Major (or the Great Bear or The Big Dipper)

And let’s face it! This is a dangerous and evil world we live in! This world is filled with all kinds of evils, just lurking in the shadows, ready to pounce upon any vulnerable potential victim!

But what the world doesn’t understand is that physical health and safety are the result of God’s blessings.

The Bible is literally teeming with account after account of God’s protection for His people.

AHAB DESTROYED

Take for example, the death of King Ahab.

.

Here is a perfect example of how futile it is to attempt to protect one’s self against danger.

.

We read that Ahab was going to war, but it was prophesied that he would die in battle.

.

And so, he disguised himself so that no one would recognize him as being the king of Israel.

.

And yet in the heat of the battle, a stray arrow struck him between the shoulder blades and he died!

NOBODY DELIVERED BY HIS OWN STRENGTH

.

King Ahab’s fate is just one example of what the Bible plainly tells us…“There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear Him, upon them that hope in His mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.” Psalm 33:16-19

.

Here in Psalm 33, the Lord reveals through the Psalmist, David, an important truth: that human strength and wisdom are worthless to deliver a person from trouble.

It is the Lord that delivers a person from danger and destruction!

“GOD IS OUR REFUGE AND STRENGTH”

Psalm 46:1

.

Now listen to this next verse… “Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for He it is that shall tread down our enemies.  Psalm 60:11, 12

This passage basically says the same thing: safety is from the Lord, and “vain (worthless) is the help of mankind!”

Now, God is a very merciful God!

And He has often protected unbelievers and their children from dangers and disasters!

If we only knew how often God has delivered us out of the hand of evil, we would fall to our knees in grateful adoration of our Heavenly Father and His great mercy for mankind!

And yet, God does allow evil to have its way in this sad and hopeless world!

.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. And while we cannot completely escape all evil, we can enlist God’s protection for our family.

And so, just how does a parent attempt to build a wall of protection around the family?

A PRECIOUS PROMISE!

.

Listen…Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in His ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.” Psalm 128:1-4

.

Here is a great promise, howbeit in poetic allegorical language: a promise that should inspire hope and faith in God within the hearts of His people!

.

It is by walking in the Way, the Truth, and the Life of Christ that a person enlists God’s protection and blessings!

A GREAT & PRECIOUS PROMISE

.

Here’s another precious promise, one of the most renowned promises in the Bible…“I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust. Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my Refuge, even the Most High, thy Habitation;” Psalm 92:2-9

.

And so, with promises such as these, what’s stopping us from throwing ourselves entirely upon the mercy of the Lord?

ENLIST GOD’S PROTECTION

.

Therefore, dear child of God, there is nothing wrong with our concern for our children’s safety. And certainly we must watch over them and provide a safe environment for them.

.

But we must realize that only God can truly protect them from harm. Therefore, above all things, we must be daily drawing ourselves closer and closer to Jesus, hiding His precious promises in our heart.

.

In that way, we will gain a peace that surpasses all understanding, as we cast upon Him all our worries and cares about our children, and begin to pray for power to walk according to those promises!

FLOWER OF THE FIELD CONSTELLATION…

LOCATING THIS CONSTELLATION…

.

This constellation group can best be seen in spring through summer in the southern sky just above the horizon. Like all constellations, it slowly moves westward through the months, appearing a little earlier each night. It also appears to move through the sky westward each night. It can be easily seen under any degree of darkness. In other words, you don’t need a very dark night. In the sketch to the right, the ‘Flower of the Field’ Constellation `is in the lower part of the screen, directly under the Cross/Scepter Constellation. The sketches in this site are approximate, and not 100% accurate. The individual stars have different brightness than seen here. But these sketches are close enough in order to find them in the night sky.

.

This constellation presents one of the most beautiful verses in Scripture. And yet that Scripture presents one of the most repugnant concepts (which unsaved Mankind has tried to elude for millenniums). And that concept is, that Mankind is like the grass that withers, and his glory as the wildflower that fades away. But God’s Word and those that love it will go on forever and ever!

Another hotly debated issue within the Christian community is about the nature of baptism, and exactly how it is to be performed.

Some believe in “sprinkling”!

Some require a baptismal class to learn the basic tenets of Christianity.

Others require a person to have first quit smoking and drinking!

.

Others have absolutely no requirements!

“WASHING OF THE WATER OF THE WORD!”

Listen… “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it; That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word…” Ephesians 5:25-27

.

So here it is revealed in Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, that our true washing and cleansing comes from, “the washing of water by the Word”!

“THE WASHING OF THE WATER by THE WORD”

Ephesians 5:25

Listen again… “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but He that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:” Matthew 3:11

.

And so, by putting these two verses together, there begins to be seen a much greater fulfillment to the idea of baptism: “the washing of water by the Word”, and the baptism, “with the Holy Ghost and with fire”!

DAY & NIGHT MEDITATION

.

There are many Bible students who suppose that they can do a 15 minute Bible study per day.

.

And such an abbreviated Bible study might not be such a bad thing if it was followed up by a day-long meditation of what was studied.

.

“But his delight is in the law (Word) of the LORD; and in His law (His Word) doth he meditate day and night.” Psalm 2:2

.

Yes, the fact is, true Bible study is a 24/7/365 endeavor.

.

No, the Bible student needs not spend the entire day searching through the Bible.

.

But those who are filled with the Spirit of Truth will naturally search out truth in their minds as they go about their day.

.

.

“WITHOUT ME, YE CAN DO NOTHING!”

John 15:5

.

And what we need to understand is that it is only through the power of the Holy Spirit that this kind of Bible contemplation can happen.

.

Those who are still filled with the spirit of the world would find this kind of total immersion in God’s Word to be a repulsive idea!

SHEEP ALWAYS NIBBLE!

.

But God compares His people to “the sheep of His pasture”. Psalm 100:3

.

And one thing about sheep is, they never quit nibbling the grass!

And the Christian is no different! All through the day and night, the Christian nibbles a little bit here and a little bit there.

.

This is the joy which comes from the abiding presence of God’s Spirit.

PUTTING BIBLE INTO PRACTICE

Oh yes, the Christian must engage in his or her daily duties.

.

And those duties which require full mental concentration might prohibit one from consciously thinking on Bible verses.

.

But even here, decisions must be made, requiring God’s Word to be put into action.

.

And so, God’s Word can be one’s contemplation even during these demanding moments!

.

FULL IMMERSION IN GOD’S WORD!

And so, O my soul, if I fully immerse myself in God’s Word, allowing that Word to wash me from my old worldly ways, then I have the true baptism of the Spirit.

And now, I begin to cease from the vain conversation of the world, and begin to live by every Word that proceeds forth from the mouth of God!

.

So yes, this website endorses full immersion!

That is, this website endorses full immersion in God’s Word, by the indwelling power of the Holy Ghost!

.

No baptismal ceremony in literal water is needed, as such ceremonies are merely a shadow of the one and only true baptism: “the washing of the water by the Word”, via “the Holy Ghost, and with fire”(Ephesians 5:25-27 & Matthew 3:11)
