Today’s Devotional -April 20th

.

THE HEART,

.

Part 1:

“TREASURE CHEST OF THE MIND”

THIS IS AN EXCERPT FROM THE ARTICLE… “The Abomination in the Church part 2”

.

“…and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace…THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS…THE WORD OF GOD”

Isaiah 9:6, Jeremiah 23:6, Revelation 19:13

.

Here is just another very revealing Bible verse, “For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched…But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem…”, Hebrews 12:18

.

From reading this, we now begin to see the spiritual nature of the Bible. But then, “comparing spiritual things with spiritual”, this next verse must likewise be understood spiritually and not literally…

.

**Listen… “And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with Him an hundred forty and four thousand, having His Father’s name written in their foreheads.” Revelation 14:4.**

.

Do we really believe that God is going to have 144,000 with tattoos on their foreheads, standing on literal Mount Sion over there in Jerusalem by the Mediterranean?

.

No, the “name” of God is His character as revealed in His infallible Word. And it is His Word that we, His Elect have been hiding in our hearts.

.

WHERE IS THE HEART?

.

**Listen again…*“Thy Word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee”*** Psalm_119:11.

.

So obviously, God knows where our brain is located.

.

That is to say, this verse, “Thy Word have I hid in mine heart” concerns our brain…our mind. That is where our heart is. And it is this treasure chest called the heart, which is where God’s Word is to be kept safe.

.

HEAVENLY ZION

Constellation- Woman of Revelation 12 flees to the mountains Mark 13:14

Likewise, to stand on Mount Sion (Zion) does not refer to that hill over there in Palestine.

.

It refers to the same hill spoken of in Hebrews… “For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched…But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem…” Hebrews 12:18, 22.

.

Obviously, we are to flee to Mount Sion; Heavenly Jerusalem’s Mount Sion, that is! Another clue as to just what is Mount Zion, is found in this Psalm… “They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.” Psalm 125:1.

.

**WOW! Now we are amazed to discover that, “they that trust in the Lord shall be as Mount Zion”. And this Mount Zion “abides FOREVER”, as the above passage reveals.**

.

HINDS’ FEET UPON MY HIGH PLACES…

.

Now there are other verses which tell us just how and just where we must flee to in these last moments of this earth’s history.

.

Listen as Habakkuk reveals the remedy to this problem…

.

“And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it….The LORD God is my strength, and He will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine high places.” Habakkuk 2:2 & 3:19. So here we see that Habakkuk is a really simple book in the following three respects…

.

1. It tells us the problem: the wicked are surrounding God’s people, causing them to err in good judgment.

.

2. It tells us what to do about the problem: “Run!”

.

3. And it even tells us “where to run”.

.

Listen again… “The LORD God is my strength, and He will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine high places.” Habakkuk 3:19

.

**Yes, our “high places” are where we must run!**

.

SO WHERE ARE “MINE HIGH PLACES”?

.

**So where are the “mine high places” in which we are to run? Listen to Scripture…**

.

“and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth” Isaiah 58:14.

.

Tie this above verse together with this next verse… “And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.” Isaiah 30:25

.

So again, from this allegorical passage, we see this same theme of escaping to the mountains.

.

But that doesn’t fully answer our question of just where are “mine high places”?

.

WHERE ARE THE MOUNTAINS?

.

Listen again to this encrypted prophecy… “And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.” Isaiah 30:25

.

Praise the Lord! This above verse gives us a clue as to just what are “mine high places”. It tells us that there will be a place of refuge in the day when the towers fall. What towers? The towers of the wicked, both in the world and the worldly churches. Those are the towers which will fall.

.

But what about God’s tower? Will it fall too? No, no!

.

Just listen… “The God of MY ROCK; in Him will I trust: He is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, MY HIGH TOWER… He makes my feet like hinds’ feet: and sets me upon my high places.” 2nd Samuel 22:3, 34.

.

So God is our “Rock” and He is our “High Places”. God is the Mountain we must flee to. He is the spiritual “Mount Zion”. And His faithful redeemed ones “shall be as Mount Zion…forever!” Psalm 125:1

.

FURTHER CONFIRMATION

.

Just listen, as Psalm 125 continues… “As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about His people from henceforth even for ever.” Psalm 125:2.

.

So, God here, is comparing Himself to the mountains round about His people. And now we’re getting closer and closer to the real meaning behind God’s admonition to “flee to the mountains”.

.

And here’s another passage… “And I will make all My mountains a way, and My highways shall be exalted.” Isaiah 49:11.

.

So again, God is using mountains to symbolize the place of refuge for His people.

.

Here is just one more verse… “But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity” Ezekiel 7:16.

.

This verse is very prophetic and will have its dramatic fulfillment in these last days, as God’s Elect, who have departed from Babylon, will take refuge in those spiritual mountains, and mourn for our past sins, “like doves of the valleys”.

REVELATION 12 WRITTEN IN HEAVEN

“And there appeared a great wonder (or sign) in heaven; a woman…And there appeared another wonder (sign) in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads…And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God…And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.” Rev. 12:1, 3, 6, 15

Here is a sketch of this Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12. This is the Winter Constellations of Signs Of Heaven. Besides Orion and his Horse, we also see pictured in this sketch, the Dragon of Revelation 12.

This Revelation 12 Woman Constellation is fleeing. As you can see, the Dragon Constellation is spewing a flood of water in her direction, as is written… “And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.” Rev. 12:15. This wave of water represents Satan’s lies, and his false teachers who tell those lies.
