Who would have ever imagined that God had long ago placed the starry constellations in such a precise way, that they would become a heavenly portrait of the Gospel of Jesus Christ?

.

It’s such an incredible idea, that those who do finally discover and confirm these signs for his or her own self, they will no doubt continually marvel at this heavenly gift right up to the time when Christ appears in the clouds of glory!

“WISE MEN STILL SEEK HIM!”

(A currently popular saying)

.

But in addition to the sheer wonder of it all, these starry signs give God’s people confidence that the Way in which He is now wanting them to go, has been clearly marked out by these heavenly signposts!

.

Yes, just as that star long ago guided the wise men from the East to the afore-promised Messiah, these “signs in the Sun, Moon, and stars” are now guiding wise men today, to the long-awaited Return of the Son of Man! (see Luke 21:25)

.

And so, that first star, 2,000 years ago, was a forerunner of Arcturus, as this great star now guides its sons (and daughters) in these last moments.

ARCTURUS, THE GUIDING STAR TODAY

Listen as God Himself asks this question…“or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?” Job 38:32

This little prophecy, tucked way back into that Book of Job, is now being fulfilled as we behold that very bright star, Arcturus, seemingly leading these great constellations on a northward sojourn through the dark night sky.

THE WALK TO EMMAUS

But today’s devotional is concerned with two disciples who carried on a sad and woeful pilgrimage to the little town of Emmaus.

.

Yes, their Lord had been crucified, and they still hadn’t embraced the Good News of His resurrection.

.

“And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning Himself.”

Luke 24:27

.

But as they walked along, a Stranger began to walk alongside with them saying, “What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?” Luke 24:17

.

Well, you probably know the rest of the story, how Jesus (Whom they did not recognize at that moment) began to expound the scriptures to them, showing that the Old Testament was all about Jesus and His wonderful Salvation, and of His crucifixion and resurrection.

“…Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Matthew 28:20

Well, isn’t it true that so many of these historical accounts found in the Gospels reveal how Jesus patiently and lovingly deals with Believers throughout the New Testament era in their everyday lives!

And this story is no exception!

.

Yes, even today, as we go through our daily routines and duties, the Lord invisibly walks beside us, and helps us to remember various aspects of the Gospel: sometimes bringing back verses to our memory, and other times, relating various Bible truths to our everyday dealings in life.

.

“…so that day come upon you unawares”

.

The point is, we Christians need to make room in our lives for Jesus to walk with us, via His Holy Spirit. In other words, we must not fill our day with so many pleasures and cares that Christ is squeezed out of our thoughts!

.

Listen…“And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:34-36  

.

As this above passage warns, the fearful day that is coming, is going to be a snare for our souls. And right now, while there is still time, we must make room for Jesus to walk beside us through our day, keeping our prayerful thoughts fixed upon heavenly things!

LOCATING ARCTURUS…

.

An easy way to find Arcturus is to follow the arc of the handle of the Big Dipper, in the spring through fall (these are the months in which Arcturus is visible). 

.

SUMMER CONSTELLATIONS: (Sketch to right: constellations span the heavens (Ark in south, 7 Stars in north), and travel from east to west through the night.

This sketch is of the Summer Constellations as they appear when in the western half of the night sky. The box-like constellation is the The Ark of the Covenant (AKA Sagittarius) is in the south. To the right is both the Flower of the Field Constellation (AKA Scorpius) and the The Cross/Scepter Constellations. Up in the night heavens is seen one of the most awesome and easily located constellations. It is of course, the 7 Stars, commonly referred to as “The Big Dipper”.

But the Bible speaks of “The 7 Stars” in Amos 5:8…“Seek Him that maketh the Seven Stars and Orion,”

7 STARS REPRESENT 7 ANGELS (OR MESSENGERS) TO THE 7 CHURCHES

Also, the Book of Revelation likewise mentions the 7 Stars in Revelation 1:20… “The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels (or, “messengers” of the seven churches”

.

Here is revealed that the Seven Stars (aka “The Big Dipper”) is speaking of the angels of the seven churches.

THE ‘POURING OUT’ EFFECT IS WITNESSED

And if one follows this constellation through the night, it appears as a bowl being turned upside-down until it is in a pouring-out position.

This, of course, brings to mind the prophecy from Revelation 16:1, 2…“And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth;”

Eventually, all seven vials are poured out by those seven angels.

LOCATING THESE TWO CONSTELLATIONS: The 7 Stars Constellation & Orion

.

This phenomenon begins in October, in the pre-dawn hours. It then begins a little earlier each night.

.

This Wikipedia star-chart to the left, has this Orion Constellation sketched in. You must locate Orion, when it is mid-sky, between east and west. You’ll be facing southward most likely, unless you are far south. Try to imagine it as a Cross on a steep hill. The 3-star belt of Orion becomes the crest of the hill. The 3 very faint stars that make up Orion’s head become the very top of the Cross.

.

 

Next, locate the 7 Stars Constellation. This 7 Stars Constellation is seen by facing northward. It stands upright a little later in the night. Eventually, Orion will lay down and no longer be seen as an uplifted Cross! Beginning in November, the 7 Stars (AKA Big Dipper) can be seen as a Cross a little bit later in evening.

When you are comfortable in locating Orion & The 7 Stars Constellations, then show a friend. This can be a great witnessing tool!

Back in the 1970’s, a certain saying was popularized…“The Devil made me do it! The Devil made me do it!”

And this was merely mocking Christians, who were seemingly obsessed with pointing the finger at the Devil.

Then this unbelieving world could all joke and mock “the silly and absurd notion” that Satan is a very active and powerful force controlling the peoples of this world, by laughingly saying…“The Devil made me do it! The Devil made me do it!“

SATAN, “THE GOD OF THIS WORLD”

2nd Corinthians 4:4

But the horrifying fact is, the Devil does indeed cause the vast percentage of the world’s inhabitants to do a great amount of things!

After all, Ephesians, Chapter 2 reveals a truth that practically nobody realizes nor accepts! It is perhaps the most egregious truth in all of the Bible!

So just what did these three completely separate news stories all have in common with each other?

Well, it was later discovered that in each case, these persons all claimed to have heard an inner voice directing them in what to do or in what to say. (In the case of the preacher, he freely revealed that he was spoken to by an unseen entity who gave him that prophecy.)

THE DEFINITION OF INSANITY?

And on a popular daytime secular television talk show, one of the hosts called a well-known political figure, “crazy”, because he believes that Jesus talks to him occasionally. “That’s the very definition of ‘insanity'”, she laughingly remarked.

And this kind of thinking should not surprise us. And ol’ Siggy here would, little doubt, whole-heartedly agree with such an assessment!

.

After all, we’re living in a very atheistic society! And so, most people would agree that anyone hearing voices must have some sort of mental illness.

“AND HE HAD POWER TO GIVE LIFE UNTO THE IMAGE OF THE BEAST”

So, what’s going on? Was that TV talk show host correct? Are those who hear inner-voices merely crazy?

The fact is, that we are now living in a day in which thousands, even millions are claiming that they are hearing a voice which talks to them at times.

Is this some sort of mass insanity?

THE IMAGE GIVEN POWER TO SPEAK

And what does the Bible have to say about all this? After all, the Bible is filled with true historical accounts of God speaking to various persons on sundry occasions.

.

The fact is, we are now living in the very day in which the Bible foretold the following…“And he (the 2nd Beast of Revelation 13) had power to give life unto the image of the (1st) beast, that the image of the (1st) beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the (1st) beast should be killed.” Revelation 13:15

.

Here is foretold that the day would come in which an image would be given the power to speak.

MASS HIGH-TECH BRAINWASHING

And anyone familiar with this website probably knows that this talking-image has been identified as being the various high-tech electronic media such as television, Internet, radio.

Yes, Satan is now able to project his evil and selfish image through the airways, transferring that image into the hearts and homes of an ever-increasing percentage of the world’s inhabitants.

.

After all, does not the Bible call him, “The Prince of the Power of the Air”? Ephesians 2:2

.

But this talking image of Revelation 13 is not limited to these devices alone. No, Satan has now been permitted to speak directly into the minds of men, women, and even children, leading unsuspecting millions to believe that it is God speaking to them.

But it’s not God. It’s the Devil.

SATAN NOW PERMITTED TO SPEAK

And that mother was fully convinced that it was God telling her to do the unthinkable to her four precious children, before they reached the so-called, “Age of Accountability”!

.

And that teenager who slaughtered his peers, reveals to police that it was a voice telling him to commit this heinous and horrific act…that it was “a real-life video game”!

.

And that evangelist freely acknowledges that the “Holy Spirit” was giving him that prophetic utterance.

ANY GOOD NEWS HERE?

So, just what’s the Good News in all this?

.

Well, this is still the day of Salvation. And if anyone is plagued by this false Holy Spirit or any other identified voice in their mind, there is deliverance. And those who are held captive in this web of sin in the form of familiar spirits, are warned to “flee to the mountains”: that is, the spiritual “mountain of His (God’s) holiness”! (Mark 13:14 & Luke 21:21 & Psalm 48:1)

.

And through unceasing prayer and Bible contemplation and total consecration to Christ, that needy soul can be freed from the Antichrist image which has now been given power to speak.

7 HEADS, 10 HORNS, & 7 CROWNS OF THE DRAGON

.

“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.” Revelation 12:3 

.

In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns. However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not.

.

 

But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns. Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars.

.

The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7). And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10). So we have this 7 and 10 numbering. And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent. Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).

Jesus spoke to His disciples about the various signs of the end, and of His Second Coming.

And among other places in scripture, these signs were foretold of in Luke 21:25…

“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring… “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” Luke 21:25, 28

SIGNS OF HEAVEN

This Part 6, will hopefully encourage both of us to look up, and lift up our heads, just as verse 28 of Luke commands… “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”

“Then Look up, and lift up your heads”

In these last moments of time, the Lord is commanding His people to, “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”

.

The signs we are now witnessing around the world all seem to point to where we are in prophetic time: “the end of all things is at hand” 1st Peter 4:7

.

But God has also given us some very amazing signs written in the Sun, Moon, and stars which likewise reveal that we are at the end.

2nd Corinthians 4:18

But “the god of this world” would love nothing more than to discourage us with doubt and uncertainty about all these things.

.

And so, the Great Deceiver is trying his best to take our eyes off these signs in the heavens and cause us to look back down instead of up!

.

Yes, the world is full of his deceptions and alluring temptations. Confusion, doubt, and distrust all abound in this dark world below!

.

And the voices of the world-loving multitudes are just now beginning to call this solemn last-day message just a “delusional deception!”

.

But those who continually and steadfastly fix their gaze “on things above, not on things on the earth”, will undoubtedly remain faithful as they continue to walk through the floods of lies and skepticism and through the fires of tribulation!

A HEAVENLY HOBBY

The above verse is a plea from God to look up at the Heavens and behold Who has created these things.

In this busy work-a-day world, there are many very interesting things which can occupy one’s time and energy: hobbies, and careers, and entertainments and worries, and habits, to name just a few.

But as the child of God devotes his or her life to God, there should be a jealous guarding of one’s own heart… “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23.

.

The Christian wants nothing to get in the way of running that Christian Race.

“AND WHEN YE SEE THESE THINGS…

LOOK UP, LIFT UP YOUR HEAD”

But having said this, there is one hobby which every ‘Noble Berean’ may take up, which only compliments the pursuit of the heavenly Prize.

Yes, Signs Of Heaven becomes a wonderfully rewarding hobby which, unlike many less meaningful hobbies, pays off with rich, heavenly rewards. Everlasting rewards!

And unlike the person in this photo with equipment, all you need is fairly good vision, and a dark, starry night.

.

And once a person really gets to know these heavenly messengers, it will become very apparent that the message connected with these signs is truly a message to be heeded.

Thus will the Christian be able to share this message with others. And there are perhaps many nuances and hidden biblical truths to these signs which have yet to be discovered.

FIRST FIND ORION & 7 STARS

.

The very first step in finding these many constellations, should be to find the two main constellations: Orion, and the 7 Stars (aka, The Big Dipper).

.

These two constellations represent Christ (Orion), and His Church (7 Stars).

.

And just as these are the easiest constellations to find, so too, the first place to begin studying the Bible is the Four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John).

.

These four books present Christ and His Church, when He walked the earth, just as Orion and the 7 Stars represent Christ and His Church, as seen up in the heavens.

.

Then, once you are comfortable finding these two constellations, you can begin to locate the next closest constellations, and so on.

.

ANOTHER HEAVENLY HOBBY: PRAYER-WALKS

Now if you’re fortunate enough to be able to go on nightly walks, and you live in an area where you can safely view the stars, here is another Heavenly Hobby which Signs Of Heaven endorses…

Why not combine star-watching with prayer, as you walk? What a great way to draw closer to God!

.

It cannot be over-stressed, just how wonderful it is to walk under the dark canopy of Heaven, while lifting up one’s heart to our Heavenly Father! There is a closeness to God that cannot be described with words!

(And even if you cannot safely do this, you can always do such prayer-walks in the daytime, in a safe place, such as a mall, which is every bit as effective, prayer-wise.

And for those who are in confinement, one can view these starry signs on the Internet, or simply listen to Scripture on audio.

Either way, all such may enjoy God’s richest blessings at this very time in which God is pouring out all Heaven’s treasures upon anyone willing to forsake all, and follow Jesus!)

THRICE-DAILY PRAYERS

.

Now of course, the Bible commands us to, “pray without ceasing“. The Christian is to constantly talk with our Heavenly Father throughout the day.

.

But the Bible also holds up the godly life of Daniel, who, when captive in Babylon, still set aside three times daily, in which he knelt for special prayer.

.

And furthermore the Bible also says… “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice.” Psalm 55:17.

.

Even those who are bed-fast or in a prison cell can begin to imitate Daniel in this way. And if one is fortunate to be able to walk, then this thrice-daily prayer regimen can be combined with three walks daily and even nightly.

Just listen to this amazing revelation from the Epistle of Peter… “We have also a more sure word of prophecy (The Bible); whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, UNTIL THE DAY DAWN, AND THE DAY STAR ARISE IN YOUR HEARTS” 2nd Peter 1:19.

Peter here tells us to cling to the Bible as that sure Word of prophecy.

But he also says we cling to that Bible till the, “dawning of the Day”.

So we now begin to see that there is more to Christ’s Second Coming than we originally thought.

THE TIME OF JACOB’S TROUBLE

Jeremiah 30:7

This next passage reveals a great concept… “Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.” Jeremiah 30:6, 7

“JACOB…WRESTLED…UNTIL THE BREAKING OF THE DAY”

Okay, so by examining that story of Jacob wrestling with the angel of the Lord, there can be seen a great picture of just what we must endure in the coming trial before us.

Listen… “And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until THE BREAKING OF THE DAY…And he said, Let me go, for the DAY BREAKETH. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. And he said unto him…Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.” Genesis 32:24, 26-28

Jacob represents all Christians who must wrestle through this coming “Time of Jacob’s Trouble”.

ESAU: “THE OLD MAN” OF THE FLESH

Now the story of Jacob and his brother, Esau, is likewise the story of the Christian life. 

.

But like Jacob’s night of wrestling, this account is also veiled in allegorical symbolism.

.

Esau represents “The Old Man” of flesh, spoken of by Paul, in such places as Ephesians 4:22.

.

Jacob represents the man of the Spirit.

.

And just as Jacob and Esau were born as twins, so too, the Christian has a dual personality, so to speak.

JACOB REPRESENTS TRUE-WORSHIPERS

And there still exists in every Christian a struggle between the spirit and the flesh.

.

The Christian constantly battles against the flesh.

.

Listen to Scripture… “For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.” Galatians 5:17.

So, it now is evident that there exists a struggle in the life of each and every genuine Christian.

“THE DAWNING OF THE DAY”

The coming conflict will be a time in which each Christian will wrestle for the victory over self.

.

And though like Jacob, the Christian will think he or she is wrestling with the enemy. But when the “dawning of the day” arrives, it will be discovered that their true struggle was actually with the Lord.

.

And at that time, the Christian will, like Jacob, lose his or her old name, “Jacob, the Deceiver”. And they will be forever pronounced with their new name, Israel.

.

Just like Jacob, they will have prevailed with God.

.

And like Jacob, they will be able to say, “for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” Genesis 32:30.

.

At that time, we will have completely overcome the “Old Man with his deeds.” Colossians 3:9

THE REVELATION 12 DRAGON & THE PLEIADES (THE HARLOT & CAPTIVE ANGEL CONSTELLATION)

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her (Babylon), My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4

.

The story of the Levite and his Concubine is a concept which God has written in the Stars. You see, the Revelation 12 Dragon is a picture of Satan and his armies. But if you look closely at the tip of his tail, you will notice that it is made of a cluster of Stars known as The Pleiades.

.

This cluster is in the shape of the tip of a lion’s tail. But if you look closer (looking with telescope or looking just at photos) you see that The Pleiades looks like a woman (photo to right). On one hand it appears as a harlot, riding a beast with a wine-cup in her hand. But then, if you step back you will see this same constellation. God has a people in Babylon. Yes, Mystery Babylon is the Mother of Harlots. The sketch to the below left, shows her riding this beast with 7 heads and 10 horns.

GOD YET HAS A PEOPLE IN BABYLON

.

But in that spiritual city, Babylon, there are those who love God. And before the final plagues are poured out upon her, God will call Hispeople out of this spiritual city, Babylon, represented by this harlot… “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her (Babylon), my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4

.

And so in addition to The Pleiades appearing as the Mother of Harlots, we also see this second depiction of The Pleiades as an angel, which symbolizes God’s people (see picture below, right). They must be called out of spiritual harlot city, Babylon (picture to left).

.

THE CAPTIVE ANGEL IN PLEIADES

.

And so the story of this concubine from Judges 19, who played the whore, but at the end she came back, only to die, clinging to the threshold of the door; this is the same portrait which The Pleiades presents. That is, this Pleiades Constellation presents a picture of the Church, portrayed as a harlot, but also as an angel taken captive.

THE DAWNING OF THE DAY

.

But the story of this concubine has a climactic moment of truth, as this concubine returns to the door, following the night of her being abused. And this dramatic moment happens at the dawning of the Day. Listen… “Then came the woman in the dawning of the day, and fell down at the door of the man’s house where her lord was, till it was light.  And her lord rose up in the morning, and opened the doors of the house, and went out to go his way: and, behold, the woman his concubine was fallen down at the door of the house, AND HER HANDS WERE UPON THE THRESHOLD.” Judges 19:26, 27.

holding the four winds of the earth….

This above passage from Revelation 7, concerning the four winds, is generally not understood by the vast majority of today’s theologians and Bible teachers.

.

Well, for one thing, most evangelicals have been told that they will be “Raptured” away from earth prior to the unfolding of Revelation.

.

And of course, none of us fully understand all that the four winds represent, since we only, “know in part and prophesy in part”. (1st Corinthians 13:9)

.

Nevertheless, there are some biblical insights that can be offered.

SEPARATING THE WHEAT FROM ITS HOUSING

.

All through the growing process, the precious wheat kernel was held safely in its housing, until the time of harvest.

.

But at harvest time, the wheat kernel must be separated from its housing.

.

And so, when the strong winds begin to blow, a process known as winnowing is implemented by the farmer.

.

In this process, the wheat is tossed into the windy air, and the wheat is separated because the lighter chaff is carried away with the wind, while the weightier kernels fall to the ground.

.

“Therefore speak I (Jesus) to them in parables”

In God’s infinite wisdom, He has created all these things to teach an object lesson about the great harvest which is just now beginning.

.

Yes, just as those precious kernels of wheat must finally be separated from the chaff, so also, God’s people must likewise go through a very similar separation process.

.

SEPARATION TIME NOW IN THE VALLEY OF DECISION

.

You see, right at this very time in history, God’s great harvest is just now beginning.

.

And it is presently the time for His precious wheat to be separated from their housing.

.

Listen…“Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.” Joel 3:13, 14

.

Here is revealed that the time of harvest is very much connected with the Valley of Decision. And right now, the human race is entering into that great moment of decision!

But how is this to be accomplished? How must we be separated from the chaff?

WINDS OF STRIFE NOW BLOWING

.

Well, just as the harvest-time winds began to blow, so also, the winds of strife and confusion are now beginning to blow all around the world!

.

Yes, we are living in the very time in which great turbulence, political, social, and religious strife are now intensifying on a pandemic level!

.

And even in the church-world, various ideologies and “every wind of doctrine” are blowing from every direction! (Ephesians 4:14)

.

Now God’s Elect and chosen ones cannot be tossed about by every wind of doctrine.

.

And yet, all those things in the church-world which can be shaken, will be shaken, and soon taken away by those winds of confusion and strife!

.

But God’s true worshipers will remain steadfast! In this way, the precious wheat will be separated from its housing.

.

“Come out of her My people!”

Revelation 18:4

.

And so, it should be no surprise that all around us, we will sadly watch our housing fall away. Yes, the various churches and denominations will be carried away by every wind of false doctrines. And even now, the church-world is filled with false teachers, who are mingling the truth with many false doctrines, leading multitudes into error and confusion!

.

But the end result will be a separated, but a purified Church. Our housing will have all been blown away by all the false doctrines which the apostate portion of the Church has clung to, and refuses to let go of.

.

And all those who refused to separate from the housing, will be blown away in those winds of strife and confusion!

.

It reminds us of the following verse….“A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; [but] it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.” Psalm 91:7, 8

.

But the glorious aspect to all this is, that God will have finally purified His Church from all defilement. And like a mighty army, God’s true Church will stand as a witness to all the onlooking world!

LOCATING THE DRAGON

.

THE DRAGON of REVELATION 12 CONSTELLATION . The Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months. The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield. This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is the very same constellation that comprises the head of Taurus the Bull. In other words, Hyades is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull. And Hyades is the mouth of this Dragon.

.

The tip of the Dragon’s tail is composed of that star-cluster known as The Pleiades. The Pleiades is actually in the shape of a lion’s furry tassel tip of his tail. The sketch below shows this Pleiades as the tail tip.

.

Now with aid of a dark starry night, you may begin to connect this mouth and the tail with a very long body in an oval shape. The front and back legs are very well-defined with stars. The front legs are made partially of Taurus. The back legs and rear fin are made of the Cetus Constellation. But the long oval-shaped body has relatively few stars, but can been seen, howbeit with a dark starry night. The four stars of the front fins are made partially of Taurus. This Dragon constellation appears in the eastern horizon about mid-summer in the pre-dawn hours, spewing his flood-waters northward toward the Woman of Revelation 12 (Woman in Travail). The Wave of Water is primarily composed of the Constellation Auriga. The are two more less bright stars which are closest to the Dragon’s mouth. These two dimmer stars are also part of this Wave of Water.

than those in Thessalonica,

in that they received the word

with all readiness of mind,

and searched the scriptures daily,

whether those things were so…

So, in this little series, the subject of those noble Bereans has been introduced. And today, it is still worthy of a little more exploration into another area of concern.

.

Let’s review the key Bible passage… “And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming there, went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Acts 17:10, 11

AN OPEN-MINDED SPIRIT IN BEREA

.

Okay, so those in Berea were more noble, because they:

.

1. “Received the Word with all readiness of mind.”

.

2. “And searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”

.

And because of this excellent, open-minded Spirit, the Bereans were ready to receive new teachings, which no doubt, conflicted with the supposed, “orthodox” teachings of that day.

.

Thus there was an open-minded love for truth which permeated their hearts, and a willingness to search the Scriptures daily, in hopes that these seemingly new teachings were indeed true!

THREE ANGEL’S MESSAGES

And so, the big question which any logical person would ask, concerning the three messages presented on this website is, “Why is there disagreement between these three messages? And how can all these teachings be reconciled, so as to find harmony between these teachings?”

GOD’S WORD ALONE IS INFALLIBLE!

.

As to the first question, “Why is there disagreement between these three messages”, let it be stated that the Bible alone is the infallible Word of truth.

.

Never in the New Testament era, has there been an infallible teacher since the days when God completed the closing words to His Book, The Bible. Not Calvin, not Wesley, not Luther, not anyone!

.

ELLEN WHITE & HAROLD CAMPING

And both Harold Camping and Ellen White freely proclaimed their teachings to be fallible and subject to correction, if necessary. Indeed, Camping gave a warning multiple times each night on his telephone question/answer radio talk show…“Don’t trust me! I have feet of clay! Trust only the Bible!” Every night this same disclaimer was uttered by Camping, perhaps five or six times per show.

Ellen White likewise made a similar disclaimer…“I have never made the claim that my writings are infallible. God alone is infallible.”

THE THIRD ANGEL’S MESSAGE

.

And now comes the third message which is to tie all three messages together. But this message makes no claims of infallibility either.

.

Well, the fact is, God doesn’t wish to give another infallible message. He’s already done that! It’s called, The Bible…The Book!

.

And what God now wants, is for His people to place their trust in His infallible Word, the Bible, and begin to prayerfully search out what it says for their own selves!

.

“For when for the time ye ought to be teachers”

Hebrews 5:12

.

In other words, every true worshiper must strive to attain teacher-status in his or her own life. This requires a whole lot of study, and prayer, and contemplation!

.

But that’s what we are to do. And if we don’t have the ability to study for some reason, then we must beg God to graciously allow us to have that ability, no matter how much time and how many tears it takes!

.

“Open Thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy law.” 

Psalm 119:18

And so, in answer to the second question, “How can all these three messages be reconciled, so as to find harmony between these teachings?”, we need to plead with God to allow us to study these three messages against the Bible to ultimately strike a balance, “rightly dividing the word of truth”. 2nd Timothy 2:15

Of course, this third message, written in the Sun, Moon, and stars, has attempted to balance the first two messages, harmonizing them with its additional teachings.

But once again, this third message makes no claim of infallibility.

The Bible alone, and in its entirety is the infallible source-book of Truth!

But we can take comfort in the words from John’s 1st Epistle…“But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him.” 1st John 2:27

.

Yes, as this verse informs us, God’s Holy Spirit of Truth will assist every true worshipper of God in arriving at a saving knowledge of the Bible. 

.

And that’s an “exceeding great and precious promise”, which each and every Noble Berean can cling to in these days of error, confusion, and apostasy!

HEAVENLY OBJECT LESSON

.

“Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.” Isaiah 24:23

.

When God created the Moon and the stars, He ordained them to “rule the night” (Gen. 1:16). The Moon, especially when it is full, can light your pathway through the night, as it reflects the light of the Sun.

.

So too, the Christian is to be a light to the world: to this sin-darkened world. But as the Moon must reflect the light of the Sun, in order to be a light to the world, so also must the Christian reflect the light of Jesus, to be a spiritual light to this planet in rebellion. Listen…

“Ye are the light of the world…Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

.

However, during an eclipse, the Earth passes directly between the Sun and the Moon, preventing that sunlight from shining on the Moon’s face. This is an incredible object-lesson about when the child of God allows the world to come between him and his Lord. Like the eclipse, that person no longer reflects the light of Jesus, because his or her love of this dark world of sin has eclipsed the light from the “Sun of Righteousness” (see Malachi 4:2).

.

The Church community has long ago adopted a theologian-concocted hermeneutic which demands a literal interpretation unless that passage specifically demands a spiritual interpretation.

.

And so, the many articles on this website encourage Christians to throw off that false and unbiblical hermeneutic and begin to search out the true spiritual nature of those Bible stories and parables. And by prayerfully and carefully “comparing spiritual things with spiritual”, the Bible student can eventually arrive at the true spiritual interpretation of each allegory and parable. (see 1st Corinthians 2:13)

THE HOLY GHOST RIDER CONSTELLATION

.

This newest Signs Of Heaven Constellation (Fall, 2013) is by far the faintest of constellations, but is a very incredible and awesome one in a number of ways (which this article will explain).

.

It is primarily comprised of the Camelopardalis Constellation (head and upper back), plus about 5 stars from the Cassiopeia Constellation (his leg), plus some random stars. It appears as an outline of a rider. Only the back of his head is detailed. And his back and the back of his legs are also detailed. Both sides of his arm are visible, and his hand is gripping the horses mane, and that is detailed by three stars (which are also part of the horse’s mane). The rider is in a position vaguely similar to a race-horse jockey. The two brightest stars in this constellation, are from the Cassiopeia Constellation, and are part of his leg. All the rest of the stars are very faint, and must be viewed on a very starry night.

.

Since this constellation has just been revealed, there may be more to this constellation in the coming months. But if you can locate the Goodly Horse in Battle Constellation, then you shouldn’t have too much trouble locating this Rider Constellation, provided you have excellent star-watching conditions. 

.

“HE THAT HATH EARS TO HEAR”

.

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;” Rev. 2:7, 11, 17, 29, 3:6, 13, 22

.

As you can easily see, this horse has some very big ears. Of course, this presents a very big concept. And since this Rider represents the Holy Spirit, it is obvious that He is leaning close, as if to whisper His words in the horses’ ears. And so what is He (The Spirit) whispering in this horses ears? Well, primarily the messages to the 7 churches, found in Revelation Ch.’s, 2 & 3.

.

But not everyone has ears to hear. Listen to Ezekiel… “Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.” Ezek. 12:2. Yes, the rebellion amongst God’s professing people was great, and they had all but closed their ears from hearing truth.

.

Well it’s the very same problem in the New Testament. Listen to Jesus… “If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.” Mark 7:16.

.

So this Rider whispering into this Horse’s ears is a heavenly picture of this concept… “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;” Rev. 2:7, 11, 17, 29, 3:6, 13, 22.

.

Now the great lesson to be learned, is that there are certain truths, which those who are rebellious in God’s house, will not be able to hear. And these messages to the 7 churches are those very types of messages, that many “Christians” just do not like to hear.

.

And so, what is the bottom line. Well, it would be a very good idea, for each and every one of us to humble ourselves before God, and plead with Him to give us spiritual ears to hear these deeper truths which God is trying to tell us.

For those of us who grew up on stories like Robin Hood, the carefree renegade life of Robin and his, ‘merry band of marauders’, has held a special place in our hearts!

After all, what could hold a greater magical fascination than to live in those enchanting days, eating and drinking and laughing and joking while taking from the rich and giving to the poor?

.

What a carefree life they must have lived, above the law of the land and beyond its reach!

TAKING FROM THE RICH, GIVING TO THE POOR?

And taking from the rich and giving to the poor!

Such a noble cause! Right?

“No”, you say?

Well, you’re correct, of course! Yes, as Christians, we understand that it’s not right to steal, even from the rich! And even if it were legal to do this, it still doesn’t square with the Bible!

No, all such acts of humanitarianism should emanate from the love and self-sacrificing generosity of the heart!

To feel sorry for the poor is one thing.

But to demand others to give their hard-earned money to relieve those poor is quite another thing!

.

That may be the way socialistic governments operate, but not Christians!

LUCIFER, THE GOD OF THIS WORLD

.

But there is another aspect to Robin Hood which must be addressed. And today’s devotional will present a very big concept about how this fallen world operates, and how it deceives earth’s inhabitants.

.

You see, long ago, Lucifer, the fallen rebel angel of Heaven was cast down to this earth and allowed to mold this world into his very own selfish image. Most people are oblivious to this truth. And even a great percentage of the Christian community do not fully understand this truth.

Nevertheless, even though most people don’t believe this fact, doesn’t make this fact any less true! After all, this unseen rebel angel and his fellow fallen angels can do their deceptions and destruction far more easily if nobody believes they really exist.

THIS ANTICHRIST WORLD-SYSTEM

Now, one of the ongoing projects of this master-deceiver was (and is) to create a world-system in which earth’s inhabitants are molded into his fallen image, thereby securing them solidly under his control and rulership.

ROBIN HOOD:  CHEAP IMITATION OF JESUS & HIS FOLLOWERS

Now just what does that quaint and charming book (and movies), Robin Hood, have to do with Satan, “the god of this world”?

.

Well, Christians are not to be “ignorant of his devices”, as 2nd Corinthians 2:11 admonishes us! We are to be savvy about this world, and not to be the least bit naive or unlearned.

.

Robin Hood is actually a very cleverly written counterfeit of the Bible! Just look at how Jesus led His own disciples about during His earthly ministry. Can’t we see the similarity between these two groups? Yes, just like the mythical character, Santa Clause, is a counterfeit of God, so also, Robin Hood and his followers were created by Satan to take the place of Jesus and His followers!

A WORLD FULL OF CLEVER COUNTERFEITS!

But the story of Robin Hood is just one of countless counterfeits which the Devil has invented to obscure the truth! There are perhaps thousands or even millions of close counterfeits which Satan has invented over time, or raised up in centuries past, to erase, confuse, or obscure the truth. Why, even some of the great Christian Reformers have had their own testimony almost completely erased by counterfeits bearing their signature!

For instance, when the name, Martin Luther is mentioned, most people no longer know who he was! And this is incredible since God dramatically changed the entire course of history through the ministry of Luther. But Satan greatly buried Luther’s accomplishments in the minds of Mankind.

“GOOD NEWS FROM A FAR COUNTRY!”

Proverbs 29:29

Well, the Good News is that this is still the day in which any and every man, woman, and child can renounce this evil world (in the quietness of their own heart).

And those who do throw off Satan’s counterfeit regime, can begin a spiritual sojourn out of this world of confusion and begin to climb the pathway of truth, which leads to life-everlasting!

And one day soon, all who did make this end-time exodus will finally enter into the long-awaited Promised Land of joy-unspeakable, which God has waiting for all the Heaven-bound Pilgrims who likewise made that sojourn, throughout history!

LOCATING THE ARCHER

.

“He hath bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow. He hath caused the arrows of His quiver to enter into my reins. I was a derision to all my people; and their song all the day.” Lamentations 3:12-14

Orion travels through the night skies, starting about late September in the pre-dawn hours. This 1st office which Orion holds, as an Archer, is fairly easy to see. His bow is pointed and bent as if ready to shoot his arrows.

.

But why astronomers have never noticed this Dragon to his left, is truly a puzzle! It’s so obvious; at least his crocodile mouth is obvious. (Perhaps God is sending the message that Satan (the real Dragon) is so obviously real, and yet so few in this world are ready to recognize him.)

.

This Archer-Orion corresponds to the 1st Horseman of Revelation, Chapter 6, speaking of a rider with a bow who goes out conquering.
