CUTTLEFISH: THE ULTIMATE IMPOSTORS!

One of the most amazing creatures ever created is the Cuttlefish!

.

Actually, it is not a fish, but a type of mollusk, like a squid, or an octopus.

.

One reason why this creature is so incredible, is that it can just glance at its environment and instantly change its body to imitate that environment.

.

It can even instantly grow leaf-like appendages to imitate certain sea-weeds, waiting for its victim, or to hide from an enemy!

.

This little creature is nothing short of amazing!

.

CUTTLEFISH: SYMBOL OF SATAN

Well, God has created this little predator to give us further insight into the inner working of the kingdom of Satan.

.

Certainly, Satan and his unseen minions love to make themselves invisible! That way, they can work their misery and woe upon this unsuspecting world, without its inhabitants becoming alarmed, causing us to rebel against Satan’s kingdom, as we flee to God for refuge!

.

SATAN HAS ERASED HIMSELF

Yes, this world has the deceptive appearance of being void of any spiritual realm.

And we go about our day un-cognizant that we are surrounded by angels, both good and evil, fighting over each man, woman, and child.

But as we look at this Cuttlefish, and how he waits in hiding, until he pounces upon his unsuspecting prey, we can make another earthly analogy!

You see, Satan has infiltrated the Church of God with human Cuttlefish…

Listen… “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” 2nd Corinthians 11:13-16

.

As this above passage reveals, Satan brings false brethren into the Church, imitating, “ministers of righteousness”!

ALL ARE MINISTERS

“…Therefore it is no great thing if his (Satan’s) ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” 2nd Corinthians 11:13-16

But we must not get the idea that this above passage is speaking only of some pastors.

.

No, any false brother or false sister is a minister of Satan, i.e., “ministers of righteousness”! Whether it be a pastor, or elder, or deacon, or merely a church-goer, these Antichrist impostors are Satan’s, “ministers of righteous”, as their world-loving lifestyle works its leavening effect throughout the entire congregation.

And these false brethren, like that incredible Cuttlefish, are transformed so closely into the image of a Christian, that quite often, it is virtually impossible to distinguish them from the true Christian!

This is why it is so deceptively evil that today’s Bible teachers mostly deceive their followers into the false notion that some human individual will come on the scene after the so-called “Rapture”.

In other words, the “man of sin” is already here, and has been here all along, deceiving the world ever since the 1st Century!

Yes, every human who has not yet become saved is an antichrist deceiver, even as 2nd John 1:7 informs us…“For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.”

And so, when 2nd Thessalonians 2:3 reveals that “the man of sin be revealed” in these last days, it is not only speaking of Satan, and his fallen angels, but also of every human who still serves “the god of this world”, Lucifer, now called Satan! (see 2nd Corinthians 4:4 for “god of this world” reference).

THE EVOLUTION HOAX

After all, for many decades, the Master-Deceiver, “the god of this world”, has been brainwashing our children into atheism in the public schools! (see 2nd Corinthians 4:4)

Yes, Satan, uses erring men to perpetuate the false science called “Evolution”, quite often using myths and hoaxes as proof of this devilish-designed ideology.

Even schoolbooks are repeating the fake myths and hoaxes, already exposed and discredited decades earlier, using the same phony charts and imaginary pictures once created by artists, all in attempt to keep the lie of “Evolution” going!

NATURE OUR TEACHER

Yes, the cuttlefish can teach us a great deal about the nature of evil, as it disguises itself, while waiting for its next victim.

And yet, all of nature is instructive of both evil and good!

Listen to this revelation about Creation’s instructive nature, inscribed by God, in all of His Creations…“But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. 7 STARS IMITATE THE CROSS OF ORION

.

 This phenomenon begins in late October, in the pre-dawn hours. It then begins a little earlier each night.

.

The Wikipedia star-chart to the left, has this Orion Constellation sketched in. You must locate Orion, when it is mid-sky, between east and west. You’ll be facing southward most likely, unless you are far south. Try to imagine it as a Cross on a steep hill. The 3-star belt of Orion becomes the crest of the hill. The 3 very faint stars that make up Orion’s head become the very top of the Cross.

.

Next, locate the 7 Stars Constellation. This 7 Stars Constellation is seen by facing northward. It stands upright a little later in the night. Eventually, Orion will lay down and no longer be seen as an uplifted Cross! Beginning in November, the 7 Stars (AKA Big Dipper) can be seen as a Cross a little bit later in evening.

When you are comfortable in locating Orion & The 7 Stars Constellations, then show a friend. This can be a great witnessing tool!

But in addition to giving nature the ability to become dangerous after the Fall of Man, God also designed nature to teach lessons about good and evil!

Yes, there are many creatures who exhibit appearances and behaviors, which teach us about heavenly virtues.

But many aspects of nature teach lessons about Satan’s government of Hell!

A SIGN IN HEAVEN: A GREAT RED DRAGON

Now, there are a variety of lizards throughout the world, which are no exception!

In other words, these little dragons align themselves with the great biblical Dragon, Satan…

CHAMELEON HUMAN-RIGHTS GROUPS!

Now as we look out on the current state of human affairs we see various paradigm shifts which have a curious similarity to these chameleon lizards.

For instance, it is remarkable that we are now witnessing a particular major ideology which has championed various human rights over the past decades, begin to embrace another particular religious/political ideology which is infamous for trampling on human rights! It is as if they are changing colors, as a chameleon changes colors!

So, one has to question just how genuine was this humanitarian-driven political group in the first place!

It is as if they are like the proverbial chameleon dragon, that they can so easily abandon their previous strong stance for human rights, merely to embrace such a brutal, cut-throat, oppressive political/religious group. It boggles the mind to see this happening!

Now here is one great big point that should not be overlooked!

And this is the point to be made! There are many dedicated humanitarians, who have placed great trust in that certain political group which has for so long, stood for human-rights causes!

CHAMELEON WORKERS-RIGHTS GROUPS

But this is not the only example of this amazing phenomenon!

No, this same chameleon-like color-change is going on in many areas of society!

For another example, there is a large group which has for a long time, championed the causes of workers-rights, who all of a sudden, pushed for a trade agreement for foreign-made goods to be sold locally!

.

This was a complete sell-out to their local workers!

.

They pretended to care about their workers, but completely abandoned them to support this trade agreement!

This same political group once stood for freedom of speech. But now they are trying their best to squash the speech of all those who hold opposing political/religious views.

But if we really think this through, it’s not so surprising when one considers that the people of this world are filled with the spirit of Antichrist…

Now of course, Satan is a deadly dragon. And just as this little dragon below, has a ferocious appetite for little bugs, so too, Satan has a ferocious appetite for Christians!

Well, we never should have trusted the world in the first place! And now we are learning that we cannot even place our trust in churches!

Listen… “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.” Psalm 20:7, 8

And so, as this above passage reveals, we are not to place any trust in humans, or institutions!

And as we look at the current condition of Christianity, our distrust should include Bible teachers, and churches! God and His Word are alone, infallible and totally trustworthy!

Yes, this ol’ world is now really beginning to show its true colors, as we see these humanitarian groups (and churches) betray their trusting constituents, by embracing things they once professed to oppose!

REVELATION 12 DRAGON LOCATION…

.

The Revelation 12 Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months. The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield. This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull. The Dragon’s tail-tip is Pleiades and the lower shaft of his tail is partly of Aries  and Pisces. Then with aid of a dark and starry night, you may begin to connect the mouth and the tail with a very long body in an oval shape. The front and back legs are made of a few stars: the front legs partially of stars from Taurus . The back legs and rear fin are made of 6 stars from the Cetus Constellation.

BODY HARD TO SEE

.

The long oval-shaped body has relatively few stars, but can been seen, howbeit with a dark, starry night. The four stars of the front fins are made partially of Taurus .

FIRST APPEARS IN MID-SUMMER

.

This Dragon constellation appears in the eastern horizon about mid-summer in the pre-dawn hours, spewing his flood-waters northward toward the Revelation 12 Woman in Travail (not pictured in this chart).

The Wave of Water is primarily composed of the Constellation Auriga. There are two dimmer stars (#’s 1 & 2) which are closest to the Dragon’s mouth. These two dimmer stars are also part of this Wave of Water, but are not part of the Auriga Constellation.

You Can’t Fix Hell!

When Mankind first sinned, God placed a curse upon this world, saying… “cursed is the ground for thy sake…Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;” Genesis 3:18

And Mankind has been fighting weeds ever since that day!

THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM

.

Now, one thing that many of us have learned by experience, is that it is an exercise in futility to attempt to pull weeds without getting to the root of the problem!

.

Because, it won’t be but a few days until a nice healthy weed grows back to replace the one you just pulled! Perhaps even two or three more will grow back in its place!

.

You simply have to remove the root!

NATURE TEACHERS

.

Well, of course, God has created nature to be enjoyed on several levels.

.

And not only can nature be enjoyed for its natural beauty and awesome grandeur, but also for its wisdom! Yes, all of nature was created to teach Mankind lessons!

.

Now there are probably many lessons to be learned from the thorns and thistles in the world. But the one lesson to be our focus today, is the root of the weed.

.

Yes, the root of a weed teaches us a great lesson!

.

PULLING WEEDS OF SIN

.

You see, if the weed can be compared to unwanted sin, then it begins to be understood that sin has a root, which must be removed, before it can be totally eliminated!

.

In other words, a person may put away a certain sin. But if the root cause of that sin is not removed, then that sin will eventually return, in one way or another!

.

And there are many Christians who feel the calling to correct the sins of unbelievers.

.

And so, we will go on a crusade to correct others for their failings. Maybe we complain to a store manager about his bad-tempered cashier. Or we criticize an injustice in the world. Or we lecture some drunkard about his drinking. 

.

Well, it’s not difficult to relate all this to pulling a weed, without removing the root.

JESUS WENT TO THE ROOT OF SIN

.

When Jesus came to this world, He was mostly quiet for 30 years. But then, when He began His 42 month ministry, He proclaimed the Good News of Salvation to this world!

.

But Jesus had learned well the importance of getting to the root of Mankind’s problem.

.

And so, wherever He preached, He went straight to the heart of Mankind’s sin.

.

He was not merely trying to get people to behave!

.

He knew that there must be a complete rebirth of the soul in Man!

.

For instance, in the account of the Rich Young Ruler (see Luke 18:18-30), Jesus saw that it was useless for this young man to attempt to keep the Law, while his love for earthly abundance was greater than his love for God.

BORN AGAIN!

Or take the Pharisee, Nicodemus, who came to Jesus by night.

Jesus did not mince words with that chief-Pharisee!

.

No, but He directed Nicodemus to the heart of the matter… “Ye must be born again!”

.

Now this revelation startled the Pharisee.

.

And because Pharisees were mostly interested in correcting outward behavior, Nicodemus was shaken to the very core of his soul when he heard Jesus’ stunning words!

CLEANING UP HELL!

.

The Bible warns us… “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.” Revelation 22:11

.

This above verse warns us against trying to clean up sin-ladened Mankind!

.

There is no need to attempt to correct Man’s exterior behavior. It is like trying to clean up Hell (as discussed in Part 1). All we will be doing is cleaning up the outward appearance of this totally evil world!

.

And let’s face it! The Devil loves nothing more than to have a nice and pretty veneer-like covering over his selfish kingdom!

.

And so, by trying to correct unbelievers, we make this sin-darkened world even more deceptive, giving it a bright and glossy exterior!

.

The Devil welcomes all such human “good works”!

.

O HYPOCRITE ME!

.

But God wants me to clean up my own self before I even think of trying to clean up others!

.

Listen… “And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?….Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.” Matthew 7:3, 5

.

As this passage suggests, I have enough work to do in my own heart, without trying to tackle the sins of others! Oh yes, I can (and should) tell others about the Good News of Salvation!

.

But until I get the log out of my own eye, I certainly have no business trying to correct the behavior of another! At the very least, I should do so with fear and trembling!

.

GOOD NEWS!

.

The Good News is, that I still have time to get busy and clean up the garden of my own heart!

.

And so, as I read God’s Word, and hide those precious life-giving words in my own heart, God will begin to pull the weeds of sin from the soil of my soul!

.

And when God begins pulling weeds, He gets the entire weed, root and all!

.

FLOWER OF THE FIELD CONSTELLATION…

LOCATING THIS CONSTELLATION…

.

This constellation group can best be seen in spring through summer in the southern sky just above the horizon. Like all constellations, it slowly moves westward through the months, appearing a little earlier each night. It also appears to move through the sky westward each night. It can be easily seen under any degree of darkness. In other words, you don’t need a very dark night.

.

In the sketch to the right, the ‘Flower of the Field’  Constellation `is in the lower part of the screen, directly under the Cross/Scepter Constellation. (The sketches in this site are approximate, and not 100% accurate. The individual stars have different brightness than seen here. But these sketches are close enough in order to find them in the night sky.)

.

This constellation presents one of the most beautiful verses in Scripture. And yet that Scripture presents one of the most repugnant concepts (which unsaved Mankind has tried to elude for millenniums). And that concept is, that Mankind is like the grass that withers, and his glory as the wildflower that fades away. But God’s Word and those that love it will go on for ever and ever!

THE FLOWER FADES…BECAUSE…

THE LORD BLOWS UPON IT…

.

If you go out in the springtime, your lawn may be full of those pesky little yellow flowers commonly known as Dandelions. And yet, if it were not for the weeds that follow, those little yellow flowers would no doubt be very welcome additions to our lawns.

.

The Dandelion does well for a short time. For after a few days it is bright and beautiful. But when a hot blast from the east blows upon it, it quickly dries up, turning into spindles, as seen in the photograph below, on the lower right. This reminds us of the Bible verse at the top of the page where it says…

.

“The grass withers, the flower fades: because the spirit of the LORD blows upon it: surely the people is grass.”

.`

The Bible compares the Spirit of God to wind. If you notice in the sketch on the upper right, the constellation shows a flower bent as if the wind is blowing on it; a wind from the east… “The wind blows where it desires, and you hear the sound thereof, but can not tell from where it comes, and where it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.” John 3:8

.

The above verse paints a beautiful picture of just how God leads his children. He is like a gentle breeze that pushes His children in the direction we must go.

.

But of course, the flower of the field is rooted in the earth. It cannot go with the gentle nudgings of the Holy Spirit! It forever clings to the earth and eventually passes away! And so it is with lost Mankind!

Many Bible students read this above passage, and wonder, “What in the world can this possibly be talking about!?”

.

Perhaps it could be speaking of some city in Iraq, or perhaps the city which has recently sprung up called Dubai!

.

But for those who have discovered that the Bible is a totally spiritual revelation of the Gospel, they know that the City of Babylon actually represents the world and the worldly portion of the Church, the Mystery Harlot of Revelation 17.

BABYLON IN THE HEART!

.

Have you ever heard this next saying? Listen…“Before you can take a man out of the slums, you first must take the slum out of the man!”

.

The above statement shows that the people of the world have a certain wisdom. They understand that the heart must first be changed before a person will truly be changed!

.

And so, now that God has been calling His people to come out of Babylon (the world & the worldly Church), this principle must be firmly established, that Babylon must be thoroughly purged from the Christian’s heart!

.

Otherwise, to merely remove ourselves from the apostate organizations of Babylon, will only be, “an exercise in futility”, as the saying goes!

.

OUR WORLDLY, WORLDLY WAYS!

Because we are sinners, therefore we have inherent love for this Babylonish world!

.

And just because we have gone down into the baptismal pool does not mean that our hearts have been purged from our past worldly ways! No, Babylon still exists in our heart! The ways of the world still remain firmly ensconced in our thinking!

.

And so, God has given a great commission to each and every Believer…

.

Listen… “And every man that hath this hope in Him purifies himself, even as He (Jesus) is pure.” 1st John 3:3

.

And so, as this above verse reveals, God expects us to purify ourselves, even as Jesus is pure!

WHY, WHY, WHY???

.

 

Now at this point, someone might ask the question… “Well, why has God allowed His people to get so brainwashed by Satan’s kingdom of this world, in the first place? Why didn’t He just take us out into the wilderness, like He did with His Old Testament ‘Church in the wilderness’?” (Acts 7:38)

WE GOT OUR FILL

Well, just why has He allowed us to become so polluted with the ways of the world? 

That’s a legitimate question!

Listen… “And they that escape of you shall remember Me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from Me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations. And they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.” Ezekiel 6:9, 10

Well, this is pretty rough language which God uses!

BABYLON ROSE UP AROUND US

.

But we shouldn’t think that this condemnation is merely for the Old Testament captives!

.

No, God is speaking to us… “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.” 1st Corinthians 10:11

.

Yes, God has given these Old Testament stories specifically for His last day Church! Because, truth-be-told, we have been taken captive in spiritual Babylon! Oh no, Nebuchadnezzar the king did not come with his armies, and lead us away to a foreign land! No, but rather, God has allowed Satan to raise up Babylon all around us!

.

And for many long decades, we and our children have been held captive in Satan’s prison-house, where we have learned the ways of the world!

.

JUDGMENT DAY!

.

And just as God allowed the, “Church in the wilderness” to eat their fill of flesh, to the point of vomiting through their noses, so has He done with us! (see Numbers 11:20)

.

Yes, God has allowed His New Testament Church to get our fill of this Babylonish world, to the point where we loathe the ways of this Kingdom of Babylon, the world!

.

And we weep to see how the Church has suffered under the cruel hand of the true “King of Babylon”…“O Lucifer, son of the morning!” Isaiah 14:3 & 12

.

.

.

.

GOOD NEWS!

.

But the very Good News is that the gates of Hell shall not prevail against the Church!

.

No, God has determined that we are to finally come out of Babylon!

.

Listen… “And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen…And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:2, 4

.

So here is the call to God’s people, to come out of Babylon. And from what has already been discussed, we must begin the work of heart purification, which we have long neglected!

.

And though we must do this while fleeing from the flood-waters of the Revelation 12 Dragon, it must nevertheless be accomplished!

.

THE UPLIFTED CROSS!

Yes, the Church will be victorious! But it won’t be with the help of the churches!

.

No, the corporate congregations will not join with God’s Elect! We must learn to lean fully on the Everlasting Arms! Our earthly support will be removed, to the point that we will finally walk totally by faith! And at this point, the Church-Elect will lift up the Cross for all the world to see!

.

Then will the following words be fulfilled… “Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.” Matthew 13:43

.

DOUBLE ENTENDRE OF REVELATION 12 WOMAN

“For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the Church: and He is the Savior of the body.” Ephesians 5:23

This page concerns the constellation which is commonly known as “The Big Dipper” and the “Great Bear”. It actually appears in the summer months as a woman travailing in child-birth. God has purposely given her no head. But God did this to present a very important concept.

Yes, this woman represents the Church, the, “Jerusalem above, which is free, and is the mother of us all” (see Galatians 4:26).

.

You see, the single star she is giving birth to typifies the Christ child. Reading in Ephesians that Christ is the “head” of the Church, this single star is logically going to become her head. But how will that be accomplished? .

WOMAN FLIPS AROUND IN WINTER

.

.

Now, if this Woman-in-Travail were all that the Lord created in the heavens, it would be nothing short of amazing! But God, in His infinite power and majesty, has made this a great sign in Heaven, just as Revelation 12 proclaims. Because as the summer passes, this constellation begins to slowly flip around, until the stars representing her arms now become her legs. And the stars that once represented her legs now become her arms.  And finally, it appears as the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12. And at that point, this single little star in her womb-area, representing the Christ-child, now becomes her head! And of course, this reminds us of the passage… “And He (Christ) is the head of the body, the Church…” Colossians 1:18.

YESTERDAY, THE WORLD, TODAY, THE CHURCH

.

In past devotionals, it has been a constant theme that Babylon, i.e., the world, has its own way of handling life’s problems.

.

And when we become a Christian, we still have much of these worldly ways firmly entrenched within our thinking!

.

And yesterday (click here), the encouragement was made that we must strive to become renewed in knowledge and wisdom of the Word of Christ.

.

Today however, we will see how we Christians have been somewhat deceived into wrong thinking, and as a result, have been living a compromised life, instead of the purity of Christ…

.

COMPROMISE NOT ACCEPTABLE!

.

Yes, we Christians, for the most part, believe that we can live a compromised life, instead of the purity of Christ…

.

Listen to God’s command to the prophet, Jeremiah… “Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before Me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as My mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them.” Jeremiah 15:19

.

In this passage, God is speaking to Jeremiah, warning him to separate himself from the apostate people of God of that day!

.

And the second message in this verse is for Jeremiah to, “take forth the precious from the vile”, so that God can become as Jeremiah’s mouth.

.

PURIFYING THE HEART, A MUST!

.

Listen once again to God’s command to Jeremiah…“Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before Me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as My mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them.” Jeremiah 15:19

.

Well, this above passage is repeated throughout the Bible in various ways. And this message of separating the precious from the vile, is a message for God’s people today…

.

Listen… “And every man that hath this hope in Him (the hope of meeting Jesus in peace), purifies himself, even as He (Jesus) is pure.” 1st John 3:3

.

So here we see the great work before us: to purify ourselves even as Jesus is pure!

.

LIFT UP THY VOICE LIKE A TRUMPET!

.

“Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show My people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” Isaiah 58:1

.

Now it should be a very distasteful duty to point out the sins of the Church.

.

But unless it is done, too many people remain in a fog, concerning just exactly what are the problems within the Church!

.

But to merely summarize what is wrong, and what is right, let it suffice to say that we just are not purifying ourselves even as Christ is pure! To a great degree, we’ve taken our eyes off Jesus! We don’t really believe that we need to become exactly like Jesus!

.

We think that God will accept some hybrid version: partly like Jesus, and partly like the world!

.

PRESUMPTUOUS SINS

.

In other words, we believe we can talk like the world, as long as we are kind to people.

.

We believe that we can pursue the materialism of the world, as long as we pay our tithes and go to Church, etc..

.

We have been convinced that we can spend hours each day indulging our minds in worldly amusements, such as TV, etc., as long as we don’t watch the “bad programs”.

.

We are under the notion that we can carry on our worldly fellowship with unbelievers, and not be affected by their world-loving ways!

.

We think that as long as we pay our tithes, we can lavish ourselves with the rest of our rather large incomes, when instead, we could easily give 20% or even 30% to the Lord’s cause!

.

We listen to quasi-Christian music, believing that the sensual earthiness of that music won’t have a negative affect on us.

.

We build lavish church buildings, not realizing that if today’s apostate Church was truly faithful to our divine commission, that Satan would immediately tear or burn our buildings down!

.

And so, just what is the Good News in all this?

Is there any happy side to all this?

Well, maybe not for the corporate churches.

But for the individual Christian, there is great hope!

Yes, there is great news!

You see, God in His great mercy, has provided time for His people to seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways!

.

Oh no, we do not have lots of time!

.

Just enough time!

Now, if this Woman-in-Travail were all that the Lord created in the heavens, it would be nothing short of amazing! But God, in His infinite power and majesty, has made this a great sign in Heaven, just as Revelation 12 proclaims. Because as the summer passes, this constellation begins to slowly flip around, until the stars representing her arms now become her legs. And the stars that once represented her legs now become her arms.  And finally, it appears as the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12. And at that point, this single little star in her womb-area, representing the Christ-child, now becomes her head! And of course, this reminds us of the passage… “And He (Christ) is the head of the body, the Church…” Colossians 1:18.

Many Bible students read this above passage, and wonder what in the world it could possibly be talking about!

Perhaps it could be speaking of some city in Iraq, or maybe the city which has recently sprung up called Dubai!

Now for sake of time, this little devotional will not try to go over old ground. The reader can read such articles, as… “Fleeing to the Mountains: The Abomination in the Church, Part 1” to explore the reasons why these things are so.

But the question to be touched on today, is this: “How can I come out of Babylon? Where do I flee to? How can I escape the plagues which God is about to pour out on her?”

REVELATION: AN UNFOLDING BOOK

.

Well, in the first place, the Book of Revelation has been a book for all generations!

.

It is not (as some suppose), merely for the last few years of time. It has been written for the Church (“I Jesus have sent Mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.” Revelation 22:16)

.

Yes, the Book of Revelation has brought comfort and deliverance to those who were persecuted and murdered by the Anti-Christ church/civil powers of Europe, during the Dark Ages!

.

And so, the admonitions found in ALL 22 chapters of Revelation are not just given for a select few, but have been a great source of spiritual help for all generations of Christians, since it was first penned by John (“The Revelation of Jesus Christ…to show unto His servants things which must SHORTLY come to pass” Revelation 1:1)

“BABYLON IS FALLEN, IS FALLEN”

.

Now, the command to “Come out of her My people”, can be looked upon as an admonition to literally come out of the apostate religious organizations, which constitute the “Mystery Harlot”! 

.

Or even to literally come out of the world, since this world is likewise considered Babylon (“Babylon is fallen, is fallen” Revelation 18:2).

.

In other words, Babylon is twice fallen: The fallen world, and the fallen churches.

BABYLON IN THE HEART!

.

The problem is, merely removing ourselves physically from the apostate churches, or moving out to some country or wilderness location, does not completely solve the problem!

.

There is an old saying which goes something like this: “In order to take the man out of the slum, you must first take the slum out of the man!”

.

Well, this little proverb can very well apply to our coming out of Babylon! Yes, to come out of Babylon, we must remove our love of Babylon. And this is a work of the heart! We must purge Babylon from out of the midst of our heart!

.

This is a work of transformation (Romans 12:2). This is our commission from God to, “Purify your hearts, ye double-minded!” (James 4:8)

.

HOW TO REMOVE BABYLON?

.

Now just where does one begin, in attempt to get Babylon out of the heart?

.

Perhaps I can go on a food-fast, until Babylon is removed! Or maybe I can just go into my prayer-closet, and not come out till God has removed Babylon out of my heart!

.

Well, fasting is good! And unceasing prayer is also recommended in Scripture (see 1st Thessalonians 5:17)

.

But to come out of Babylon, one must begin to un-learn the ways of this faithless world, and begin to learn the ways of Heaven! 

.

“FOLLOW ME!”

.

When Jesus first began His earthly, public ministry He called His disciples, by saying… “And He saith unto them, Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19

Here in the above verse, Jesus is calling, not only those few disciples, but all of Mankind to come, “Follow Me!

.

But how do we follow Him, when we can’t even see Him?

.

MANY MORAL PERSONS

And at this point, someone might stand up and object, saying, “But I live a pretty good life! I’m kind to people, and obey the laws, and try to do the right thing!”

But the answer comes back to us… “For therein (in the Gospel) is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17

.

Yes, it is true, that there are many who attempt to live correct lives in this world! But to live the life of faith, exceeds the standards of morality as, “light excels darkness!” Ecclesiastes 2:13

.

FOLLOWING JESUS REQUIRES FAITH

.

Jesus came to this world to show us how to live by faith. And He also laid down many teachings about living by faith.

.

For example, Jesus said… “Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;” Matthew 5:43, 44

.

Now, this one little passage is presenting such a giant concept, that just implementing this one passage alone into the life, will radically change how a person lives! But it takes faith to live this way! It requires trust in God’s promises!

.

And without trust in God’s promises, it would not be very long until that person reverts back to his or her old Babylonian ways!

A REST UNTO YOUR SOUL!

And so, just how can I get faith? Where is faith found?

.

Well, faith is the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Faith is the gift of God. And it can only be given by God’s grace.

.

But in spite of that, the call goes out to the whole human race, to, “Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

.

Yes, this above passage is a call which goes out to all those who are weary and heavy laden with the back-breaking burdens of this Babylonish world! It is a call to finally renounce this messed-up world, and to begin to learn about Jesus! And as we learn of His ways, we will begin to live like Him! This is the essence of what it means to follow Him!

A NEW HEART! A NEW LIFE!

Yes, the life of faith is an entirely new life!

And as we grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus, our lives will more and more become transformed into His glorious image!

This page concerns the constellation which is commonly known as “The Big Dipper” and the “Great Bear”. It actually appears in the summer months as a woman travailing in child-birth. God has purposely given her no head. But God did this to present a very important concept.

Yes, this woman represents the Church, the, “Jerusalem above, which is free, and is the mother of us all” (see Galatians 4:26).

.

You see, the single star she is giving birth to typifies the Christ child. Reading in Ephesians that Christ is the “head” of the Church, this single star is logically going to become her head. But how will that be accomplished?

Building Relationships

There is a doctrine which has been blowing through the Christian world for many decades. It is the idea that Christians need to be building relationships with unbelievers, so that we can eventually win them over to Christ!

.

Now this devotional would like to ask the question: “How in the world am I going to build relationships with unbelievers, and still remain a Christian!?”

JESUS, SEPARATE FROM SINNERS!

And so, if we try to build a relationship with an unbeliever, are we going to switch over to ungodly conversation? And do you ever read about Jesus building relationships with unbelievers?

.

Listen to Paul’s assessment of Jesus… “For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, SEPARATE FROM SINNERS, and made higher than the heavens…” Hebrews 7:26

.

So it says that Jesus was “separate from sinners”. Did Jesus ever lower His standard of conduct, so that He could better relate to a worldling in a worldly way? Did Paul ever keep company with unbelievers? You never read about Paul having secular relationships, do you?

WITNESS BUT NOT FELLOWSHIP

Where did we get the idea that we are supposed to build relationships with unbelievers, so that we can lead them to Jesus?

.

Not from the Bible! Well, Satan always likes to take Christians too far in one direction, or another!

.

And of course, the Christian has been told to preach the Gospel! But Satan has taken this admonition to the next level, by preaching that we must build personal relationships with unbelievers!

.

And he does this, so that he can work through that unbeliever to pull that weak Christian back into the world!

.

WHO CONVERTS WHO?

.

One of the big problems is, that by so-doing, the Christian is more likely to be converted by that unbeliever, back into the world!

.

In other words, by constantly associating with unbelievers, the Christian is likely to become worldly and vain, as a result!

.

The Bible says, “Be not deceived! Evil communications corrupts good manners!” 1st Corinthians 15:33

.

Don’t let anyone deceive you! By constantly associating with the world we will begin to act and we will begin to react like unbelievers, for the most part! We will become giddy and frivolous! We will begin to seek after worldly entertainment! We will easily lose our temper! We will laugh at naughty jokes! And we will lose our love for Bible study and meditation and prayer!

ALONE WITH GOD

.

But rather, Paul exhorts us to… “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?…Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” 2nd Corinthians 6:14-18

.

Rather than building worldly relationships, we need to build a better relationship with God! We need to spend as much time as possible, praying and contemplating His Word!

.

We need to get alone with God as much as possible!

THE SOCIAL GOSPEL

.

But it seems as if the very ones who are most vocal about building relationships, are the very ones who are the least vocal about becoming changed into the glorious image of Christ!

.

These worldly-minded individuals speak about loving our neighbor, but rarely speak about living the sanctified life!

.

They have a worldly idea about loving one’s neighbor. They view neighborly love in much the same way that the world understands love!

.

STRIVING LAWFULLY

.

The fact is, if a Christian does not have the burning desire to become like Jesus in every way, then it is quite possible that such a Christian has never truly become Born Again! 

.

Because, to become changed into the image of Christ should be the supreme desire of every truly saved person! Oh yes, we have been given the burning desire to tell the world about Jesus! But to cast aside our piety so that we can relate to unbelievers, is an abomination to God!

.

Listen to Paul… “And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.” 2nd Timothy 2:5

.

We are counselled to strive lawfully! If we simply do all things according to the Bible, God will use us to convert others!

Experts tell us, “The last 18 chapters have nothing to do with Christians, because we are not appointed to wrath.”

And so, true Christians will be removed from the earth, prior to all this happening, via the Rapture!

THE RAPTURE: MAN-CONTRIVED NAME, MAN-CONTRIVED DOCTRINE!

There are several problems with this notion.

First, God’s people today are in no spiritual condition to be carried out of this world!

And second, the Bible speaks nothing about a “Pre- Tribulation Rapture”! This so-called “Pre-Trib Rapture” is a totally Man-concocted name, and doctrine! (The proper name is, “the coming of the Lord”. 1st Thessalonians 4:15, James 5:7, 8)

“Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand”

The Book of Revelation was specifically given to the Church to show them what they could expect in their lives and in the future… “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto Him, to show unto His servants things which must shortly come to pass;” Revelation 1:1

.

Yes, this above verse has been a comfort to all Christian pilgrims throughout the entire Church era, revealing just what they could expect as they sojourned through this fallen, evil world. And let’s face it. The history of the Church has been a very brutal and bloody history.

.

So, to imagine that God gave all those past persecuted Believers no spiritual road-map, such as Revelation is, shows just how ignorant and spiritually blind we are today!

TRIBULATION: OUR PORTION

.

God has put us here to be a testimony to the world, both in good times and in bad! God clearly teaches us, “that we must, through much tribulation, enter into the kingdom of God.” Acts 14:22  

.

It is through trials and tribulation that God perfects Christlike character in Christians! And let’s be honest with ourselves!

.

Our characters are, well, not yet Christlike, are they?

REVELATION FOR CLEANSING

Listen to Revelation… “After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude…And one of the elders answered, saying unto me…These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” Revelation 7:9, 13, 14

.

Now does this above passage sound as if it is speaking only of 144,000 Jews?

.

No, it is speaking of, “a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues,” Revelation 7:9

.

And furthermore, this great multitude of all nations, kindreds, people and tongues have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb!

.

And so, let’s get rid of this notion that the coming Great Tribulation is only for the purpose of God’s wrath!

“Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand”

Matthew 13:13

The problem is, most Bible teachers and theologians today, attempt to interpret Revelation as literally as possible. And so, mostly all they can see is a book which is filled with terrible disasters and awful condemnation. 

.

But if they would only interpret the Bible, comparing spiritual things with spiritual, they would begin to discern that Revelation is all about the Church and its relationship with Christ and its conflict with the forces of darkness. And they would see that Revelation is all about how God brings His people through the many experiences and trials which He allows for the cleansing and purification of His chosen people!

And so, even in that fiery little Book of Revelation, we can be thankful that God has worked all these things for the benefit and glory of His chosen people!

And so, there is nothing to fear in the coming days and months, as we now see the approaching storm coming our way!

GRASPING FOR SCEPTER AND A CROWN…

.

This page however just deals with the Woman travailing in child-birth. When she is in labor, she appears to reach out her hand southward to grasp a The Cross/Scepter, which is coming from the South, out of an ark-like box. There also is a Crown of 12 Stars (13 counting a star in the center). But the Crown (the Corona Borealis Constellation) is not yet on her head. The crown is to the south of her. So she is grasping for the Cross/Scepter. She doesn’t yet wear the crown. This reminds us of that well-known passage in Philippians which states…

.

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13, 14

.

And also another verse of the apostle Paul… “Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:8.

So this woman with child is grasping, either for that Cross/Scepter, or perhaps that crown, or both. This is such an incredible scenario in the heavens! But this is a very complex concept. Because this headless woman-with-child, which turns upside down in winter to become the “Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12”; and combine this with that Crown and that Cross/Scepter, of which she appears to be grasping for in summer, and these various aspects present a great portion of what the Bible is about.

Farthest to the north is the Woman of Revelation 12 part one (Woman in Travail) (AKA Ursa Major). Of course, in this sketch is the desert with several Joshua Tress and some mesas, and a few other plants.
