When A Good Thing Becomes A Bad Thing!

A teenage boy, whose family lived on about the 5th or 6th floor of an apartment building began to get obsessed about throwing things off his balcony. As a matter of fact, he became so obsessed, that he eventually threw his baby brother off. Fortunately and miraculously, the baby totally recovered!

.

But as we all know, even seemingly good things can become an obsession! We can become addicted to anything, can’t we? 

.

FAMOUS ADDICTS

.

Now there have been many persons who became world-class celebrities, all because they became so addicted to a certain thing, that they eventually became masters at it!

.

For instance, one famous musician admitted in a magazine interview, that he was a hopeless addict to his particular musical instrument. This magazine article showed him laying, passed-out on his bed, hands and legs sprawled-out and holding his musical instrument in his hand as if it were a bottle of alcohol. And in the article he explained the photo, saying that he was an addict to his music.

That photo was taken to tell the whole story! He was addicted and obsessed with his music!

THIN LINE BETWEEN OBSESSION & GREATNESS

There have been many, who have become so addicted to being successful in their career, that eventually they neglected even their own family members, for the pursuit of success in business, or agriculture, or even in pastoring.

.

And for the most part, such people attain to some degree of adulation and honor and even riches from the world, all because they became obsessed with their pursuit, whatever that pursuit happened to be.

.

Oh yes, they became incredible talents! But what price did they have to pay? A few self-indulgent years of fame and fortune in this fickle world? Trading eternal life  for a brief moment of selfish glory?

CHRISTIANS TO COME OUT OF ADDICTIONS

.

Well, just what is the point to all this?

.

The point trying to be made here is this. There are many different things in this world, to become addicted to. There are certain TV and radio shows, various sports, careers, hobbies, video games, restauranting, exotic places, political parties, science and history books, and a vast array of other such pursuits, that one can become addicted to. Even coffee!

.

And there are also many other intangible addictions, such as pride, anger, jealousy, self-pity (which is a form of self-worship), gluttony, etc….

.

Now for the lost people of the world, many of these obsessions may be just fine! “Go for the gusto”, they often say! But as Christians, we are not to allow any earthly thing to become our master!

.

ALL SIN ADDICTIVE

Yes, the Christian has been called to come out of this dark Babylonish world, with all its lusts and self-indulgent pursuits.

Listen to the very first Commandment… “Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.” Exodus 20:3.

.

Whatever thing or pursuit, no matter how wholesome and good it may appear to be, which becomes an inordinate affection in a person’s life, in reality becomes a god, or idol to that soul.

.

And let’s face it! All sin is addictive! We have all been obsessed with sin, in one form or another! Listen to Jesus… “Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever commits sin is the servant of sin.” John 8:34

IN SATAN’S PRISON-HOUSE OF SIN

The Bible says… “if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.” 2nd Tim. 2:24-26

.

As this above passage reveals, the people of this world are not free. Quite the contrary! They are in prison, Satan’s prison!

“THE SPIRIT THAT NOW WORKS IN US”

.

Please take careful note that the Bible reveals that Satan is the, “prince of the power of the air, that spirit that now works IN the children of disobedience”. And so, with this knowledge, it is no great wonder why we are so easily led into addictions and obsessions! He is the “prince of the power of the air”. Ephesians 2:2

.

Now exactly all that this means, none of us can fully understand. But whatever is “the power of the air”, well, Satan is the prince of that power! And he is the spirit which now works IN the children of disobedience. It doesn’t say he works WITH them. It is his spirit that works IN them! This is the “spirit of error”, which 1st John also speaks of.

LET’S NOT BE PRESUMPTUOUS

And let us not be so presumptuous to think that just because I call myself a Christian, that somehow I’m untouchable! Listen… “Wherefore let him that thinks he stands take heed, lest he fall.” 1st Corinthians 10:12.

.

No, God is no respecter of persons. We are all capable of falling! We all must be diligently watching and praying!

.

Jesus said… “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 6:41.

.

Each and every Christian must overcome the world. Listen to Paul… “And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.” Galatians 5:24.

.

Yes dear friend, if I am claiming to be Christ’s, and yet am still under the servitude of any one sin, then I am under the bondage of sin, not knowing nor understanding that sin, whatever that sin may be, is still my god and yet, still is my master!

GOD PROMISES FREEDOM

Now in spite of this not-so-great news, there is also some very Good News!

For those who desire to mortify such inordinate affections and divers lusts, God has a wonderful promise!

.

Just listen… “Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” Philippians 1:6.

.

Yes, God will continue with us day-by-day, no matter how weak we might be. And He will not give up on even one of His true followers!

HIS WORD WILL MAKE US FREE

Jesus also gave this promise… “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him, If ye continue in My Word, then are ye My disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31, 32.

Yes, here is the very place where we continue with Jesus: in His Word! That’s right! His Word, the Bible, shows us all about how to follow Him. And it is His Word that will make us free…if we will continue in the daily study/contemplation of His Word.

TWO WOMEN IN PLEIADES

.

Just who are these two women? And how can this be, that nobody has ever seen the Pleiades as a constellation of a woman? This devotional will lightly discuss this great paradox of these two women, found in the Pleiades, and what it means scripturally to us: we who comprise the global community of Christians.

.

Because this constellation, or should we say Constellations, plural, have very much to do with us: those of us who are living right now on the threshold of eternity. And as you might expect, the Bible holds the key to understanding all this.

.

DO THE PLEIADES = GOD’S HOST?

.

 “Can you bind the sweet influences of Pleiades. or loose the bands of Orion?… Can you bring forth Mazzaroth in his season?… or can you guide Arcturus with his sons?… Do you know the ordinances of Heaven?” Job 38:31-33

.

So what does the above verse mean, when it says, “Can you bind the sweet influences of the Pleiades?…

.

Listen to this verse from Proverbs… “Stolen waters are sweet… But he knows not that the dead are there; and that her (the Adulterous Woman) guests are in the depths of Hell.”  Proverbs 9:17, 18. 

.

All through Scripture, the adulterous woman keeps popping up. Actually there are two women who constantly appear: one being an adulterous Woman and the other is the virtuous Woman. One woman symbolizes the apostate portion of the Church and the other woman, the faithful portion of God’s Church.

.

“Waters” in the Bible can symbolize God’s truth. So “stolen waters”, simply put…are the sins and lies of the Devil. So when Scripture says that “stolen waters are sweet”, it merely seems to be saying, that sin can taste really good.

PAUL FINALLY REVEALS WHAT THESE TWO WOMEN REPRESENT

.

But let’s stop for a moment, and get further confirmation concerning these two women of Scripture.

.

The Bible makes it abundantly clear that women are quite often a symbol of the Church: and adulterous woman symbolizing the Church-Apostate. And a virtuous woman symbolizing the Church-Faithful. Paul makes the most incredible and bold comparison of Abraham’s wife Sarah and her handmaid, Hagar to the Old and New Covenants! 

.

“Which things (Sarah & Hagar) are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which genders to bondage, which is Hagar. For this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.”  Galatians 4:24-26

CHURCH-FAITHFUL & CHURCH-UNFAITHFUL

This is the great recurring theme in Scripture: two women, a virtuous woman and an adulterous, whorish woman. This above passage from Galatians really nails down a great concept, namely this: that Scripture presents literal historical events which God orchestrated, in order to present a spiritual concept.

.

Paul has interpreted the story of Abraham, Sarah and Hagar and their children as a picture of the Church, both the apostate portion and the True Worshippers of God.

BUT WHAT DOES THE DRAGON’S TAIL SYMBOLIZE?

.

HORSE TRAMPLES TAIL BUT GAZES AT THE TIP… The puzzling thing about all this is that the Horse Constellation is not trampling the Pleiades. Rather, the Horse Constellation seems to be glaring at the Pleiades while he’s trampling the lower part of the Dragon’s tail. It’s almost as if the Glorious Horse is trying to rescue the Pleiades. Perhaps the Pleiades represents the portion of God’s people who have been taken captive by Satan. Perhaps the Pleiades represents those who have been deceived by Satan’s lies. Listen to what God states in 2 Timothy… 

.

“And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,  In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;  And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.” 2 Timothy 2:25, 26

 Listen…

“Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:” Revelation 3:17

.

They may still faithfully attend a local congregation. They may even hold various church offices. They may be respected members of the community. But their hearts have been entangled in worldly pursuits and earthly pleasures. And slowly they have become prisoners of Satan, locked into his Babylonish-counterfeit-Christianity.

“COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE”

Revelation 18:4

.

The bottom line to all this, is to come out of Babylon. But many are asking the question, “Just how do I come out of Babylon?” Well, the answer to this question is actually very simple. The Bible is the pure Word of Truth. And for those who have been deceived by false teachings and names and doctrines which have been added to God’s Word, we need to make an exodus out of this false system. We must return to Christ and Christ alone. We must reject the false dogmas, such as the teachings that we must be “back-slapping, giddy and worldly” Christians in order to bring others into the Church. We must “put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ” in all His holiness and reverence. 

.

And the words of James has a special significance for Christians today… “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God…Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.” James 4:4, 8-10.

This entire Book of James is devoted to enlightening today’s Church, just how worldly we’ve become. We must strive with all our heart, soul, strength and mind, to become changed into the image of Christ. And seeing that we are now entering into the final crisis, there must be no delay.

REVELATION 12 DRAGON

.

 

Now this sketch is also of the Revelation 12 Dragon by itself, but without the other three constellations. And with very careful examination, it becomes apparent that the Pleiades is actually the tip of the Dragon’s tail. The body and tail of the Dragon is wrapped around in an oval shape. 

.

So if you find the Dragon’s mouth, and the Pleiades being the tip of the Dragon’s tail, it becomes noticeable that the Dragon has a body and legs much like a crocodile or alligator. As a matter of fact, the main body of this dragon is two-dimensional, unlike most constellations that pagan cultures saw. But to see the body of the Dragon, you really need to be away from city lights.

So first find the mouth and tail-tassel of this dragon, before you attempt to locate the body.

Yes, the Bible says… “for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.” Luke 16:8

Now, it’s just too bad that God’s people aren’t as zealous of imitating our King, as they are of imitating their king!

PETER LET DOWN HIS LORD

.

Peter let down his Lord by denying him thrice.

But God allowed this to happen, knowing that Peter would repent, later to become one of the most zealous Followers of Jesus.

Probably many of us Christians have let our Lord down in a big way in the past!

And like Peter, we have also repented, to become even more ardent Followers of Jesus!

HEAVY-LADEN CHURCH!

The Church, in these last days, has been flooded with every device that Satan could possibly conjure up, to cast across our pathway, and lead God’s sheep astray.

And though the Church has been greatly hindered, God is about to purify His sin-laden people, who will finally lift up the Cross of Christ with such power and glory, as this world has never before seen!

.

OBJECT-LESSON IN THE SKY

And the Reader may just discover the way that he or she might also help lift that Cross up.

And God has inscribed in the heavens, a picture of how the Church lifts up the Cross, as they imitate their Lord. So please read this very important little article.

COME, TAKE UP THE CROSS & FOLLOW ME”

Mark 10:21

.

“Let the people praise Thee, O God; let all the people praise Thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.” Psalm 67:5-7

.

Jesus came to this Earth to give His life a ransom for many. But He also came to take up His Cross as the example of how we should also love one another. And when His ministry was finished, He returned to Heaven. But He left instructions for the human family.

.

And He says to us all… “For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.” John 13:15.

.

This concept is written in the heavens! God has placed the stars in such a way that tells this marvelous concept of lifting up the Cross of Christ: self-sacrificing love for Mankind!

.

First, Orion, (star-chart left) representing Christ, lifts up the Cross. Then, just a little later, the 7 Stars Constellation (star-chart right), representing God’s Church finally lifts up the Cross, seemingly in response to Orion’s prior example.

.

These two constellations are the two brightest and most prominent constellations in the winter-night sky. And they represent the two greatest concepts of life: Christ and His Church. No, not a particular denomination. But God’s True Worshippers, wherever they may be interspersed amongst the inhabitants of the world.

.

The sketch to the right is of the ‘7 Stars’ Constellation as it is seen through winter, as it imitates Orion. “…SHALL NOT WALK IN DARKNESS”

.

Jesus tells us that “I am the way”. Jesus calls each and every one of us to “come and follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men”.

.

When a man, woman, or child gets this call, he or she then begins to embark upon a spiritual journey like none other in the world! It matters not whether a Follower is strong or weak, or even confined to a hospital bed, or even a prison cell. Because following Jesus is accomplished in the heart (our mind). And just like those 12 Disciples, the Follower begins a sojourn, which leads on an upward pathway of experience and knowledge and love (and trials).

JESUS, THE LIGHT OF LIFE

.

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the Light of Life.” John 8:12

.

OK, so the above verse says we must follow Jesus.

.

But just how does a person follow Jesus?

.

Listen… “Then said Jesus unto His disciples, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for My sake shall find it.” John 16:24, 25.

.

So Jesus here tells us the way to follow Him: lifting up the Cross in our own life!

.

THE TRUTH…

.

Jesus also says here that “I…am the truth”. Whatever we read in Scripture is seen best when contemplating Jesus. All the commandments begin to make real sense as we see just how our Savior lived out His life on Earth. The whole Bible points to Jesus… “Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of Me.” John 5:39. Many places in the Old as well as the New Testament, Jesus is found, as we see Him revealed in allegories, types and shadows.

.

So we see from this above verse, the importance of studying, contemplating, and walking by God’s Word. Because, if we persevere in God’s Word, we shall eventually overcome the world. Thus Jesus said, “…if ye continue in My Word…the truth shall make you free!” John 8:32.

However, there are those who begin in God’s Word, but do not “continue” in God’s Word, for one reason or another. As the Follower of Jesus continues to grow in the Word, he or she imperceptibly becomes more and more changed into the image of Jesus (see 2nd Corinthians 3:18).

This is the essence of what it means to “continue” in Christ’s Word.

MYSTERY FINISHED…

.

Listen to this next verse about the 7th Angel with the 7th Trumpet… “But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as He hath declared to His servants the prophets.” Revelation 10:7.

.

And what mystery will God reveal at the blowing of this 7th Trumpet? Listen…“Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:” Colossians 1:26, 27.

And so, when God’s Church finally uplifts the Cross in our own lives, then will this wonderful mystery be fulfilled! And the world, which has only heard about Christ, will finally SEE a Church manifesting, that Christ indeed lives in us!

Then will the mystery of God be finished.

LOCATING THESE TWO CONSTELLATIONS

.

This phenomenon begins in October, in the pre-dawn hours. It then begins a little earlier each night.

.

This Wikipedia star-chart to the left, has this Orion Constellation sketched in. You must locate Orion, when it is mid-sky, between east and west. You’ll be facing southward most likely, unless you are far south. Try to imagine it as a Cross on a steep hill. The 3-star belt of Orion becomes the crest of the hill. The 3 very faint stars that make up Orion’s head become the very top of the Cross.

.

 

Next, locate the 7 Stars Constellation. This 7 Stars Constellation is seen by facing northward. It stands upright a little later in the night. Eventually, Orion will lay down and no longer be seen as an uplifted Cross! Beginning in November, the 7 Stars (AKA Big Dipper) can be seen as a Cross a little bit later in evening.

When you are comfortable in locating Orion & The 7 Stars Constellations, then show a friend. This can be a great witnessing tool!

Through the ages, there have always been those who try to promote some church doctrine, based on a literal interpretation of a Bible allegory in which God was using a real-life situation or object to make a spiritual analogy.

.

For example, such misinterpretations gave rise to the impossible idea that God has some nether-world torture-chamber, in which all christless unbelievers will be tormented eternally by literal fire! (see Job 3:11-19) (you may also read the article…“Planet of Rest: Doctrine of Eternal Torment”)

LIGHTING CANDLES

.

And there have been other similar wrestlings with Scripture, such as the lighting of candles in religious ceremonies, thus misconstruing the allegory regarding the candlesticks in the sanctuary. Yes, this too resulted in people taking literally, something which was only meant to be taken allegorically!

But the candlesticks in the Old Testament sanctuary service actually symbolized the New Testament Church being illuminated by the Holy Spirit (see Revelation 1:20).

HOLY KISS

.

Another similar mis-interpretation was the idea of a “holy kiss”, taking it literally.

.

But the “holy kiss” was merely referring to the refreshing experience that Christians should feel, when in the presence of the holiness exuded from other true worshippers of God. (see Song of Songs 1:2)

A SOUL IS A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE!

.

About every 30 minutes or so, there is a humanitarian advertisement on television, concerning the physical and social needs of humanity. And so, because we Americans have grown up in front of the television, we are thoroughly conditioned to only think in terms of physical and social needs. 

.

But never do we hear the government producing TV ads, stressing the importance of the needs of the soul! And yet, the soul is infinitely more important than one’s physical needs!

.

Nevertheless, in this atheistic society, it is not popular to speak of the needs of the human soul. And so, the needs of the soul are not the band-wagon which most young people want to get on. There’s no laud nor any praise from the world for the human soul!

HUMANITARIANISM

.

And even in the Christian community, there is emerging the same kind of confusion  regarding humanitarian social justice. Just like these already mentioned examples of trying to take spiritual metaphors, and twist and wrest them back into literal worldly concepts.

.

Yes, there is an emerging effort to turn Christianity into some sort of giant humanitarian project. And this has an especially great appeal to younger people, who have been thoroughly indoctrinated by society to think only of the physical and social needs of humanity.

.

But why do Christians want to join in with the world’s programs? Listen to Jesus… “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.” John 15:19.

.

Yes, the world takes care of its own, as this verse indicates. That’s their job! And that’s a good thing, for them!

.

But our job is to declare the way of Salvation to the world: to show them the way of escape out of this doomed world!

.

WHY SHOULD THE DEVIL CARE?

.

Now make no mistake! Lucifer couldn’t care less about whether a man goes to Hell with a full stomach or an empty stomach!

.

All the Devil is concerned about, is taking as many souls as possible, down to the grave with him in an unsaved condition. And so, it is no wonder that “the god of this world” doesn’t stand in the way of humanitarian groups, seeking for social justice.

.

As a matter of fact, because Lucifer is the god of this world, he is happy to see his loyal citizens of this selfish world, performing good deeds! It only makes his secular world, that much more deceiving!

.

Listen… “For men shall be lovers of their own selves…having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” 2nd Timothy 3:2, 5. Yes, Satan loves his world to have a form of godliness. It just confuses people, as to the true nature of this planet, Lucifer’s selfish, evil, antichrist world-system!

SPIRITUAL THINGS MUST BE SPIRITUALLY DISCERNED

.

Listen to God’s Word… “Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1st Corinthians 2:13, 14.

.

In essence, this passage is merely saying that those who are carnal and worldly-minded, and lacking God’s Spirit, will not be able to properly discern the spiritual nature of the Bible. Those who are not true-worshippers, will not be privy to the deeper truths concealed in God’s Word.

“It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.”

Proverbs 25:2

But why in the world would God conceal truth, in the first place?

.

Well, listen to this next verse… “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.” Proverbs 25:2. Yes, God purposely conceals the deeper truths of the Bible, by speaking in parables and allegories. And Believers are those very kings, who search the Bible for such hidden gems of truth!

.

EMERGING HUMANISM

.

So back to this idea about humanitarianism. While the Bible certainly promotes the idea of having compassion on the poor, never should that eclipse the getting-out-the-Gospel!

.

But here is where people get into trouble when reading the Bible. Take for instance, the following passage… “For I was an hungered, and ye gave Me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave Me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took Me in: Naked, and ye clothed Me: I was sick, and ye visited Me: I was in prison, and ye came unto Me.” Matt. 25:35, 36

.

Now at first glance, this passage seems to be saying that Christians should be engaging in some sort of crusade for social justice.

.

But as with any thing in Scripture, we are not to take any passage out of context, but we are to compare “spiritual things with spiritual”.

.

BREAD OF LIFE

And as we search out what all this means, we find that feeding the hungry is actually all about sharing the “bread of Life”: sharing Jesus with the world. (see John 6:35)

CHRIST’S ROBE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

And covering the naked actually has to do with covering the spiritually naked with the “garments of Salvation”. (see Isaiah 61:10)

SATAN’S PRISON-HOUSE OF SIN

And even though God desires for the Gospel to be preached to those locked up in the world’s prisons, there are multitudes walking about in society who are prisoners of Satan. And we should visit all such with the Gospel. These also need to be loosed from their spiritual bondage! (see 2nd Timothy 2:26)

FOLLOWING PAUL’S GODLY EXAMPLE

.

Take note of Paul’s ministry! Paul’s main focus was on the care of the spiritual needs of the churches. Oh yes, the churches helped out their own, who were poor and weak. But Paul worked tirelessly to build up the body of Christ, so that those Christians might be transformed into the image of Christ. His work was for the spiritual growth of Christians.

.

But even more than working for others, Paul knew that the first and foremost ministry was that of his own transformation. Yes, in his own words, Paul exhorts us… “Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,” Philippians 3:8

.

Now Paul realized that God had raised him up to be a spiritual role-model. This is why he encouraged Christians thus… “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.” 1st Corinthians 1:11

.

“WHO IS ‘THE LEAST OF THESE MY BRETHREN?”

.

And if we really want to get down to the bottom line, the primary objective for the Christian is to loose his (or her) own bands of sin! And it is the primary duty for the Christian to feed his own self on the Bread of Life, and to freely drink the Water of the Gospel. And it is the primary duty of the Christian to clothe his own self with Christ’s robe of righteousness.

.

One great problem is, there are many who become involved with Christianity, who do not correctly see the infinite importance of Salvation. They place more importance on the physically hungry, and upon the physically thirsty.

.

These have just not sat down and considered how infinitely greater is the gift of eternal life, than any earthly consideration! 

.

This old painting is a very nice attempt to show what all Believers will one day experience when on resurrection morning, they leave this dark world, and enter into life-everlasting!

Because if we only give some earthly food and water, that person will eventually die. But if we share the bread of Heaven, and the water of eternal life, as Jesus says… “I am the bread of life: he that comes to Me shall never hunger; and he that believes on Me shall never thirst.” John 6:35

.

7 MAJOR STARS OF ORION…

Orion Constellation can best be seen all winter (but even in August in the pre-dawn hours of morning in eastern skies) traveling east to west through the night, in mid-sky. To find the seven major stars of Orion (one star on each shoulder and one star on each foot, plus the three stars which make his belt), you can locate on just about any clear night regardless of the blackness of the night. To find Orion’s other stars, you need more star-visibility…a darker, moonless night, and possibly away from city lights.

Suppose that Jesus and His Father, along with a Holy Angel, were going to come to your house for dinner tonight, and make an assessment as to just how you have been doing with your Christian life! And if that wasn’t enough, they even requested that you provide some nice music to listen to, after dinner.

And so, you frantically went through your collection of music, trying to decide just what Jesus and His Father and the Holy Angel might like to listen to.

And then, as the hour drew near, you got your house in order, and everything perfectly set in place!

Finally, at the appointed hour, you heard somebody knocking at the front door…

Well, perhaps you should have already decided this question long ago, the very first time that you chose the kinds of music which you desire to listen to!

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

The subject of music is a very touchy subject, especially since the Bible does not make any hard and fast rules.

.

But the Bible does lay down principles. And those principles can apply to various aspects of everyday life.

.

GAMBLING

.

For instance, the Bible does not expressly condemn gambling. But there are a number of principles laid down in Scripture which can very easily apply to gambling.

.

One such principle is found in Proverbs… “Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.” Proverbs 13:11

.

And so, this above proverb reveals that wealth obtained by frivolous means (such as gambling) will not be blessed by the LORD.

APPLYING BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES TO MUSIC

.

Likewise music, though not specifically defined in the Bible, can be easily defined by merely applying general principles found in God’s Word.

.

For example, the Bible says… “Be ye followers of me (Paul), even as I also am of Christ.” 1st Corinthians 11:1

.

So now we have a principle which should cause us to study everything we can in Paul’s writings, in hopes of gaining a greater and greater insight into Paul’s life, so that we can better follow his sterling example!

HOLINESS OF CHRIST!

.

Jesus said… “And ye shall be holy unto Me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be Mine.” Leviticus 20:26

.

So here we see that holiness should mark our lives, just as Jesus was and as He is… holy! Thus, our great desire should be to conform our lives to Christ’s holiness. Therefore, should we desire to study every aspect of holiness, so that our lives might be holy, even as Christ is holy!

.

Listen… “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:” Hebrews 12:14

“FOR I AM THE LORD: I CHANGE NOT!”

Malachi 3:6

.

We humans are a very fickle and changeable race of people! Fads and fashions come and go, even as the seasons change!

.

But Heaven is not like us! No, Heaven operates on timeless and unchangeable principles.

.

Oh yes, God is a lover of variety! And we must not think that Heaven will be boring or monotonous! And there may be different styles of music there.

.

For instance, while there may be great celestial choirs, singing great swelling strains in Heaven, and yet we also read of David, alone with his harp, singing soft praises to God!

.

And the Bible speaks of, “…psalms and hymns and spiritual (sacred) songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;” Colossians 3:16

.

But even though there are varieties of music, there will not be all the fads and crazes that we so often see here!

HEAVEN’S WISDOM

.

So now we have a few principles, which should apply to all aspects of our lives.

.

But here’s another principle… “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.” James 3:17

.

Now this above verse speaks of purity, and being full of good fruits. And so, not only should the words be pure, but the music should likewise be pure, if it is to convey the wisdom of Heaven. (And don’t miss the two words, “gentle” and “peaceable”, either!)

.

And we must keep in mind that music is a language, which can easily convey many sentiments and emotions! Thus, as a language, music can speak of things pure and holy, or it can speak of things sensual, earthly, and unholy!

CHRIST LIVETH IN ME!

.

Now here is another principle which is so powerful… “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:” Galatians 2:20.

.

This above verse is a testimony by Paul, that he was so dead-to-self, that it was no longer Paul, but Christ living out His life through Paul!

.

And the more that we submit our will to Christ, the more that Christ might live out His holy life through us!

.

And so, I need to ask myself the question: “What would Christ do, if He were in my situation?” In other words, what kind of conversations would Christ engage in? What manner of dealings with others would He engage in? How would Christ eat? What kind of music would Christ listen to? Which places would He go, or not go?

.

STRONG DELUSION

.

“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:” 2nd Thessalonians 2:10-12

.

God’s Word is a “two-edged sword” (see Hebrews 4:12).

.

That is, it cuts to save, or it cuts to destroy. And so, there are many tests in the Bible which reveal the motives of the heart.

.

And each individual Bible student will be required to make choices, as to which road to take: the road that leads Heavenward or the one that leads Earthward. 

.

.

.

.

.

ONLY TOTAL DEVOTION WILL FIND HIM

.

God left us two role-models in the Bible: Jesus and Paul. And if we have any question about how we are to speak, do, or say (or sing), all we have to do is to look at Christ! Or at Paul!

.

But God has also given us the Bible, and so we must keep studying that Book, with the express desire to become like Jesus in every way!

.

Listen… “And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

.

Only a total devotion to finding out all we can about our great God and Savior will result in the discovery of the true Christ. Any sort of compromised life will lead us into self-deception, confusion, and ultimate destruction!

HIDING GOD’S WORD IN OUR HEART!

.

Well, these are just a few examples of how the Christian is to apply the principles laid down by God, in His Word, to the kinds of music that glorify God.

.

And for those who encounter difficult questions or need to make perplexing decisions, the more we have hidden God’s Word in our heart, the easier it is to discern between good and evil!

.

Listen… “And this is life eternal, that they might know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom Thou hast sent” John 17:3

.

Here is a sketch of this Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12. This is the Winter Constellations of Signs Of Heaven. Besides Orion and his Horse, we also see pictured in this sketch, the Dragon of Revelation 12.

This Revelation 12 Woman Constellation is fleeing. As you can see, the Dragon Constellation is spewing a flood of water in her direction, as is written… “And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.” Rev. 12:15. This wave of water represents Satan’s lies, and his false teachers who tell those lies.

GOD’S MESSAGE: FLEE!!

.

Beholding the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation in winter, it seems that God is trying to get a very important message across to His people: that His Church is to flee! But what are they to flee from? Well, you can go to the article titled “The Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation”

WINTER CONSTELLATIONS-SEEN IN FALL: This sketch to the right is how this constellation group appears in the eastern sky in fall. This is the four primary constellations of the Winter Constellations. They can be seen in this position, in the late fall above the eastern horizon. The Woman of Revelation 12 is commonly called Ursa Major or The Big Dipper and appears in the north. Orion the Soldier is the at the bottom is to the south of the Woman. The The Dragon of Revelation Constellation’s mouth is The Hyades Cluster, and the tip of his tail is Pleiades, and his Wave of Water is primarily the Auriga constellation. The Glorious Horse Constellation head is of Perseus Constellation and his rear end is Cassiopeia Constellation.

SHE’S FLEEING TO THE MOUNTAINS

But beside the dragon, is she fleeing from anything else?

.

The opening verse in this article, is a passage which is found in three of the gospels: Matthew, Mark, and Luke.

.

Here is that passage again… “But when ye shall see the Abomination of Desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:” Mark 13:14.

.

OK, so God’s people are to flee from the Abomination of Desolation. But what is the Abomination of Desolation? And how does this wave of water coming out of the Dragon’s mouth tie in with the Abomination of Desolation?

In this high-tech world of instant communication, we now have access to nearly every part of the world.

CHRISTIANITY & WORLD MERGE!

And yet, at the very conception of the radio industry, the Christian community immediately joined the world in making music recordings. This was a fatal error, which immediately linked Christianity with the world!

Now there are, no doubt, many Christians who will argue the benefits of commercially-produced Christian music… “Oh I get such a blessing from listening to Christian radio”, many will swear!

.

Or you might hear….“Well, I can swear up and down about all the many benefits of Christian music, and how it has improved things!”

.

But the fact is, the Christian community is in terrible shambles, compared to what it was in the days of the early Church! The apostasy has now been coming to full! Even much of the so-called conservative churches are steeped in idolatry and worldly-mindedness, as they seek after the same opulence and hedonistic pleasures which the world seeks after!

IDOLS OF OUR OWN MAKING!

And just look at the Christian music-world! It is filled with idolatry! We now have Christian music idols who have gained both fame and fortune through the various media.

And it has created a bridge between the Christian world and the secular world!

And much of the music has taken on a worldly appeal, filled with sensuality and earthiness!

THE TWO ADULTEROUS SISTERS IN EZEKIEL

.

And it reminds us of God’s rebuke to His people, comparing us to the two sisters, Aholah and Aholibah, which represented the liberal and conservative portions of today’s church-world.

.

Listen… “And when her sister Aholibah saw this (the whoredoms of her sister), she was more corrupt in her inordinate love than she…She doted upon the Assyrians her neighbours, captains and rulers clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men….And that she increased her whoredoms: for when she saw men portrayed upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans portrayed with vermilion (richly red in color)…”  Ezekiel 23:11-14

.

Yes, just like these two corrupt sisters, we conservatives and liberals in the Church, have lusted after all the glorious array and pomp and display of the world, striving to compromise Christianity, by bringing these elements of the world into our worship! Yes, we have linked up with the world, and our children too!

.

Both, famous musicians as well as popular preachers have too often become modern-day idols, receiving much of the implicit trust, adoration, and praise that should only belong to God!

GOOD NEWS!

.

But there is some very Good News in all this! Yes, those who have chosen to get into the Ark, and leave this present world, have the command to… “Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?” Isaiah 2:22.

.

This verse is from Isaiah, Ch. 2, which deals mostly with our day, in which God’s people are commanded to flee from the world, as they cast their, “idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; To go into the clefts of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth” Isaiah 2:21, 22  

.

And as the sanctified Believer separates his or her self from those counterfeit aspects of the Gospel, the Lord will supply our every need and joy, which others vainly seek for in the world!

.

And as we go about our day, we can listen to the Bible on audio, or we can sing Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. And, perhaps there is a radio station or two on the Internet, which still plays sacred music, without the emphasis on self-exaltation, worldliness, and sensuality. Or, we might purchase the best of the best CD’s, and listen to those.

But remember this, O Stranger and Pilgrim, the time is very short! God is now ready to give us the fullness of Christ! But this will only be bestowed upon those who are willing to sacrifice any and every worldly pleasure and affection and idol, no matter how similar to truth that they appear to us!

This Glorious Crown Constellation looks like a wreath at first glance. It has 7 stars, plus another star in the middle. This Glorious Crown Constellation is commonly referred to as the Corona Borealis Constellation. This wreath reminds us of the victory wreath given to athletes who won races in the ancient cultures. This was spoken of by Paul as he compared those ancient races to the race that Christians must run… “Know you all not, that they which run in a race run all, but one receives the prize? So run, that you all may obtain.” 1st Corinthians 9:24 (see also Hebrews 12:1)

“A CROWN OF 12 STARS UPON HER HEAD” …

.

But upon a closer examination if you have access to a very dark sky out in the country; if you watch this wreath, you will eventually see 5 more very faint stars, making a total of 12 stars, plus that single star in the middle. This wreath now becomes a crown of 12 stars. This goes along with Revelation 12, which tells of a crown of 12 stars upon the head of the Virtuous Woman of Revelation 12.

… “And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman…and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:” Rev. 12:1.

.

But this crown is not yet upon the head of the Virtuous Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation (also known as Ursa Major). It is just above her head, as if she has yet to attain it. Of course, the 13th star in the middle would represent Christ (Who is our true Crown of our rejoicing). OK, so we have a picture of Christ and His twelve tribes of Israel. But also we have a picture of Christ and His twelve apostles, which is a picture of His Church. So this heavenly crown is a multi-faceted concept.

Apocalypse When?

Prior to 1948, the general consensus in the Christian community was that the Book of Revelation was an unfolding book, relevant for all Christians throughout the history of the New Testament.

.

They interpreted the 42 months (or 1260 days) of Antichrist’s reign as being prophetic months and not literal. In other words, this 42 month period was actually 1260 years, not days, in which Christians suffered persecution through those centuries by the Church of Rome (see Revelation 13).

.

But when Israel became a bonafide nation in 1948, then theologians began to reconsider their position, more and more interpreting Revelation as being concerned with literal Jews being persecuted for a literal three and one half year period (1260 literal days) during a future great tribulation.

THE LATE GREAT PLANET EARTH

Then in the 1960’s, this idea became wildly popular, via a book about a Rapture, in which Christians would simply disappear (taken to Heaven), followed by a 7 year great tribulation.

.

At this point, the “futurist” viewpoint quickly emerged as the dominant theory concerning the Book of Revelation.

.

And along with this, the theory that God would once again begin to work with the literal nation of Israel, a time in which a literal temple would be rebuilt in Jerusalem on the same ground in which the Dome of the Rock is currently located.

HEAVY EMPHASIS ON THE WORD, “THEORY”

.

Now, many Christians recognize that the “Pre-tribulation Rapture” is only just a theory. But many others, however, believe it to be more than just a theory. Such have no doubt that the “Pre-Tribulation Rapture” is an absolute and undeniable biblical truth.

.

Well, as we all know, if you only hear one side of an argument, then you might be convinced of just about any idea. But when one hears both sides of an argument, then there begins to be a more balanced viewpoint.

.

And so, as lovers of truth, let’s spend a few moments looking at just a few “loose ends”, which raise some doubts concerning this so-called “Futurist Viewpoint”

.

GOD’S WARNING A LITTLE LATE?

.

First of all, let it be known that Futurists mostly believe that the Rapture takes place prior to Chapter 4 of Revelation. So that means that the last 19 Chapters have nothing to do with the Church. The Church being Raptured prior to Chapter 4, according to this so-called “theory”.

.

So one very glaring inconsistency immediately arises in Chapter 16, when Christ says… “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.” Revelation 16:15. Now why would Christ insert this warning way back in Chapter 16, when the Rapture supposedly took place prior to Chapter 4? That would be like putting a “BRIDGE OUT” sign at the bottom of a river, wouldn’t it?

.

But God does nothing in a willy-nilly manner! This warning has been put in Chapter 16 for a very good reason!

.

So that is just the first loose end.

.

5 APOCALYPSE “NOW” VERSES

.

Next, there are five warnings in Revelation, that it is not for some future time:

.

1. “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which MUST SHORTLY COME TO PASS.” Revelation 1:1

.

2. “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for THE TIME IS AT HAND.” Revelation 1:3

.

3. “Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be HEREAFTER;” Revelation 1:19

.

Now these three verses are all found in the first chapter of Revelation. But the next two verses are found in the last chapter:

4. “And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servants THE THINGS WHICH MUST SHORTLY BE DONE.” Revelation 22:6

.

5. “And he saith unto me, SEAL NOT the sayings of the prophecy of this book: FOR THE TIME IS AT HAND.” Revelation 22:10

.

So both of these verses reveal that “the sayings” of this book must “shortly be done”, and we are not to seal these sayings, because “the time is at hand”.

BLOODY CHURCH HISTORY

.

And so, has not the current popular theology done exactly what God warned us NOT TO DO!?

.

Theologians have told us that the last 19 chapters were to be delayed by 2,000 years from the time these warnings were written. Thus, the last 19 chapters being postponed for 2,000 years later doesn’t exactly sound like these last 19 chapters were part of the above warnings, “the time is at hand”, does it?

.

But just look at history! Theologians don’t seem to be bothered by the fact, that the Church has gone through a very bloody history! They don’t seem to give much thought as to just why was the Church persecuted, tortured, banished, and many even murdered for a period lasting over a thousand years; and all this persecution was brought upon God’s people by the apostate churches of Europe!

.

They don’t recognize the Revelation 13 Beast for what he actually is: The unbelievers of this Antichrist world-system, along with the false brethren in the Church, being used by the Dragon of Revelation, Satan, to destroy God’s Church!

.

ANTICHRIST PERSECUTION FOR 1,260 YEARS!

.

This long tribulation lasted for many centuries! And during much of this time, the Bible was a forbidden book, banished and burned by the prelates and rulers of Europe. Torture chambers were constructed, and many Christians were burned at the stake, because they refused to pay homage to the established Church of that day. And one great reason why so many Christians fled to America was to escape the tyranny of the European Church.

.

And it is a recorded fact that those persecuted Christians took much comfort in the Book of Revelation.

.

Now just suppose we were to go back in time and tell those weary and persecuted Christians that the great tribulation wasn’t occurring for them?

.

No, we could never convince those persecuted Christians that the Book of Revelation was for some time in the far distant future! Just read the pre-amble to the King James Bible. It tells exactly who they believed the Antichrist to be!

.

And even well-respected reformers such as Martin Luther believed the Pope of Rome to be the fulfillment of the foretold Antichrist.

JUDGMENT DAY COMING QUICKLY!

.

Now having said all this, it seems very likely that the Book of Revelation will have a very horrific climactic finale in the near future. Yes, Judgment Day is at hand! And the time just before us will be a time when God’s people will no longer have any earthly support. This is also known as “The Time of Jacob’s Trouble” (see Jeremiah 30:6, 7).

.

But be that as it may, those Christians today who believe we will miss out on this soon-coming finale, because we will be taken out of the world, prior to this great and terrible Day of the Lord, need to really consider this:, by taking a relaxed attitude, and NOT preparing themselves, we might just arrive at that day greatly, or even totally unprepared!

TIME TO ARMOR UP!

So in closing, the following passage is offered… “Finally, my brethren…take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:10, 13.

Now if there’s no battle ahead for us, why in the world would God tell us to be fully armored?

LOOSING THE BANDS OF ORION

God spoke several times of Orion, in Scripture. His question to Job was a very mystifying question, to say the least… “Canst thou…loose the bands of Orion?” Job 38:31. Such a strange question, indeed! How could a constellation have its bands loosed, much less, even have bands? Puzzling, puzzling!

But now, He is revealing this bright and beautiful constellation in a way that has never before been seen. God Himself is loosing Orion’s bands, as He is just now unraveling this age-old mystery. And we are beginning to understand that this most infamous of all constellations is nothing less than a remarkable metaphor concerning Jesus.

THE 5 OFFICES OF ORION

But like most of the other Signs which this website reveals, Orion too, has much more to say as he changes his position in the sky. And this Soldier in the Heavens puts on different garb, as he presents the five awesome aspects of his various offices. A ‘HIGHWAY TO HELL’ STORY…

.

.

Sometimes a person walks through Walmart with nothing but time on their hands! And that can be dangerous! Because one might stop and casually take note of what’s playing on their televisions for sale!

.

One night, the TV in their electronics department was airing a rock band in concert. This energetic band was performing some song. And the lead guitarist was doing a skit as the band played. This lead guitarist ran up a stairway and when he got to the top it looked as though he was electrocuted. Sparks flew in all directions! And then he quickly descended, still playing, still getting hit by random sparks all the way down this fire-escape-like stairway, as if he was being chased down the stairs by some unknown entity. When he reached the bottom, he disappeared.

.

Then in a moment, the stage floor opened and up came this cage with this same guitarist inside the cage (still playing). But now he had horns like a devil. And then he threw off his English-schoolboy suit-coat, and now only had those short pants which the English school kids might wear in summer. And with only this attire he kept playing his guitar until this song ended. And all through this performance, the camera often panned the audience in the stadium, who were more than just a little enthusiastic, to say the least.

AMBASSADORS OF HELL

.

Now this devotional is not trying to promote the idea of anyone listening to this type of music. This is the Devil’s world, after all!

.

But this highly choreographed song was making a rather overt statement, that was hard to miss!

.

The stairway in the skit represented the path to Heaven.

.

Him getting burnt by sparks as he reached the top of the stairs obviously represents having a bad experience with Christianity.

.

Him getting chased down the stairs by those random sparks represents…well…getting chased out of church.

.

And of course, after he later ascends up from Hell in a cage, with the devil-horns…well…this speaks for itself.

.

But this musically choreographed scenario is nothing new, of course. Just look at this very old picture showing two pathways! One leads Heavenward, and the other leads, obviously, to Hell.

.

HELL ON EARTH! NOW!

And this rock group instinctively knows that you don’t need to die in order to go to Hell. You just live for the Devil, and you’ve already arrived in Hell: i.e., spiritual darkness!

.

Now that’s really something, if you think about it! A group of unbelievers instinctively realize that Hell exists right now, right here on Earth!

.

Now this is even more amazing when one considers that many Christians are not even aware of this fact, that Hell begins right here on Earth!

.

The moment a person becomes a captive of Satan (remember the cage in that musical skit?), does a person become a prisoner of Hell!

.

Sometimes the children of this world are more savvy than the children of light! (see Luke 16:8)

HUCKSTERS FOR HELL!

.

Watching this skit by this rock group would make any Christian appalled at what was obviously a condemnation of Christianity, and an advertisement for Satan’s alternative lifestyle! Anyone with children or grandchildren, would be really fearful that such an enticing plea was being made for living one’s life for sin and Satan.

.

Anyone might think to himself… “These poor deluded musicians really don’t realize just what depths of evil they’re dabbling in and promoting, when they promote Satan! Nor do they realize that some day they’re going to stand before a Holy God and answer for these things, and for all the young people they caused to follow their satanic ways! Or maybe they do!” 

.

SOMETIMES EVEN THE DEVIL GETS IT RIGHT!

.

Perhaps one of the points to this story is that while they were doing this skit, this pagan rock group was unwittingly presenting a Bible truth in their little skit. They were unknowingly giving a scenario which is written, not only in the Bible, but is also written in the heavens!

.

And this Valley of Decision Constellation which lies between the Summer and Winter Constellations gives basically the same skit! But it is written in Heaven! So, this sketch to the right shows this third mountain (right) with a road that goes straight down to the Dragon (the Devil). In essence, this is the Broad Way to Hell! (“The Highway to Hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way.” Matthew 7:13 NLT).

Of course, it should be of no surprise that the Devil knows all about this constellation. And so if the Devil’s own followers sometimes speak truth concerning this, or truth concerning any other thing, should not be a surprise to God’s people.

SATAN’S COUNTERFEITS

.

But Satan is the master of confusion and counterfeiting. He really knows how to prejudice the people! And of course, he has had thousands of years to interweave some of these counterfeits into the various cultures. But of course, in the instance of this rock group, Satan was just counterfeiting what God had already inscribed long ago, in the heavens, back in the days of Creation.

“NICE” PEOPLE!

.

Well, all this being translated into everyday life, there are many persons who decide for one reason or other, that they do not wish to serve God. Or perhaps, they simply fall back into a worldly lifestyle. And just like that satanic skit portrays, these dissatisfied persons, unknowingly become tools of the Devil and are then unwittingly used by him to draw away many others from God’s sheep-fold.

NICE DEVIL TOO!

And you don’t have to be a Devil-worshipping rock musician, to be a tool of the Devil. Even some nice, clean-cut, well-behaved members of the community, can deceive fellow church-members, simply by pursuing the things of the world, thus becoming a bad example to other professing Christians.

.

And just as this rock band is doing the Devil’s bidding in their career as musicians, the rest of us likewise are the Devil’s Helpers, whether we know it or not, prior to our conversion to Christianity (and sometimes after, too!)

.

GOOD NEWS!

But the Good News is, that it is still the day of Salvation!

.

The Bible says… “Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” 2nd Timothy 2:19.

.

And so, there is still time for both you and me to begin walking that upward pathway which leads to everlasting life!

.

Listen once again… “The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from Hell beneath.” Proverbs 15:24.

Yes, let’s each begin that pilgrim’s journey out of this dark hellish kingdom of Satan!

“STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN”…

 OR JUST THE “HIGHWAY TO HELL” ?…

“Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:” Isaiah 5:18 

.

Look at the slope of this third mountain, and notice that it goes straight down to the Dragon Constellation. This slope belongs to the constellation commonly called Pisces. Doesn’t it almost look like the Dragon is towing this Mountain? It almost looks like the Dragon is transporting this false mountain from the south…from Hell. And he has pulled it northward…next to these other two mountains. This would almost seem like a comical idea…if it weren’t for the destruction and death and woe caused by Satan for many-a-millennium.

Just listen to this verse… “Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:” Isaiah 5:18.

So God, it seems, has created this constellation group to present this fearful concept!

THE BROAD WAY

But there is a second meaning to this long line of stars from this Destroying Mountain down to the Dragon Constellation? It would remind one of a highway. But what kind of highway? Need there be any further explanation? They say that a picture paints a thousand words. Well this picture that God has placed in the night sky paints a very poignant portrait indeed! This represents that “broad way which leads to destruction”.

APOCALYPSE ALWAYS… If you ever have read the Book of Joel, then you are familiar with just what a fiery little letter that it is. It’s all about war! It’s all about The Day of The Lord! It’s all about battle trumpets sounding!

And Joel is a warning to God’s people to turn back to the Lord in sorrow and mourning and repentance! And such admonishments as this, though addressed to the Old Testament people of God, are just what today’s Christian needs, because of our spiritual apathy and lukewarmness.

This book is like a cold shower on “the morning after for such a spiritual drunkard as I!”

.

It is a sobering experience for the Christian, when he or she has been quickened by the Spirit of God!

The Book of Joel is for our day! Listen… “Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God. Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD. Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come!” Joel 1:13-15

APOCALYPSE SOON…

So, Joel tells us that the day is coming, in which “The Sun shall be turned into darkness, and the Moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.” Joel 2:31.

.

Now, just because each person who ever lived has gone through a type of judgment does not negate the fact that a great finale is about to happen. This pandemic show-down of Judgment Day is also called the Valley of Decision, and The Day of the Lord, and The time of Jacob’s Trouble.

GRAND CLIMAX JUST BEFORE US!

.

So yes, this grand climax to the great drama of the ages is about to conclude. And every person who ever lived may ultimately be involved in the final scenes. Some visible, and perhaps, some behind the scenes: some standing with good angels, and everyone else on the side of Satan’s angels. Then shall the wicked surround the camp of the saints. This will be the Time of Jacob’s Trouble, in which the sorely tempted and tried saints must wrestle with God until they finally will have their garments purified and made white (see Revelation 7:13, 14).

BLOOD MOON MAY BE A SPIRITUAL EVENT

.

So, the very first question to be answered, concerning the Moon is: “Just exactly how will the Moon be turned into blood? Will the Moon be turned into literal blood?” Probably very few people actually believe that the Moon will be turned to literal blood. So then, it is manifest that most everyone believes this Bible verse needs to be understood metaphorically, to some extent: the Moon will not need to be turned into actual blood, in order for this prophecy to be fulfilled. So, if you are waiting for a literal fulfillment, you may be one of those few who will be in for a bitter disappointment. And everyone else must settle for an allegorical fulfillment.

ALLEGORICAL BLOOD-MOON?

God lets us know that He often speaks parabolically, so that false brethren and abject unbelievers cannot see these things. “And the disciples came, and said unto Him, Why speakest Thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven… Therefore speak I to them (false brethren & unbelievers) in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.” Matthew 13:10-13

“MOON INTO BLOOD TRILOGY”: THE HEARING OF BLOOD

.

So having said all this, there is an answer to this perplexing question, regarding just how the Moon will be turned into blood, prior to the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord. The message presented in this Moon Into Blood Trilogy is a very fearful concept, to say the least.

.

You see, God has inscribed a fearful message upon the Moon’s surface: three faces. And these three faces are a picture of God’s people, the Church. And there are so many biblical nuances connected to these three faces. And these various aspects together, present a portrait of just what is in the hearts of God’s people, both good and bad. And every reference to blood in the Bible presents an aspect of truth, which aligns harmoniously with these three faces.

.

And so, when the Bible declares a prophecy that “the Moon shall be turned into blood, before that Great and Terrible Day of the Lord”, then it really refers to the frightening and bloody message this heavenly orb is now proclaiming.

MARK OF BEAST WRITTEN IN THE MOON!

Yes, the fearful message which the world has been waiting for, God has inscribed in the Moon. Now of course, this seems too incredible to believe.

.

“How could God possibly bombard the Moon’s surface with meteors in such a precise way!?”

.

Nevertheless, it is true! And if the Reader will go to the articles titled, “Moon Into Blood Trilogy”, this most fearful message can begin to be explored! In a very real sense, the Moon is a fulfillment of the following prophecy…

.

“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God,” Revelation 14:9, 10

.

Perhaps you could say that the Moon itself, presents the Message of the Third Angel, which reveals that bloody “Mark of the Beast” message of Revelation 14!

CONCLUSION…

Okay, so it appears that the Moon turning to blood has a number of different fulfillments. And thus it is with many other Bible prophecies.

But there is some very Good News, to all this so-called “doom & gloom” information. Yes, the Lord is graciously giving us this message in an hour when there is still just enough time to repent and prepare for the final Judgment! And while most of the world may (or may not) ignore God’s final warning, yet those who take heed, must begin to put on the full armor of God, so that we will be able to stand in the evil day. And having done everything necessary, to stand!

“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God,

.

that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand… 

.

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth,

.

and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

.

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

.

Above all, taking the shield of faith,

.

wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit,

which is the word of God:

MOON INTO BLOOD TRILOGY…

.

There are three faces in the Moon, etched by God Himself. These faces present, not only the condition of God’s house, but also, the condition of the Human Heart.

.

The first face is that of a man. The other two faces are those of a scavenger and also a predator. The first face represents the True Worshipers. The other two represent the two classes of Christians that existed in Jesus’ day: the Pharisees, and the Sadducees. The Pharisees were the Proud Scorners. The Sadducees were locked in by unbelief. They didn’t believe much of the Bible. While the second face representing the Pharisees, as they professed belief in the Bible, loved the sins of pride, the 3rd face (Sadducees) continually sought after the things of the world.

.

Yes, these faithless ones (represented by this 3rd face), didn’t believe that being Christ-like could bring the joy necessary to be content. So this 3rd face is a Seeker, so to speak. Just as the little furry critters are constantly seeking after food, so too, many Christians are constantly seeking after, and nibbling of the things of the world. Now, it’s not to say that Christians do not enjoy the things of the world. But Christians are not to make the things of the world of much importance. Their chief desire is to seek the things of Heaven.

Do you get the point of these two beasts of the Earth? And while the Moon does not deal directly with all aspects of the Revelation 13 Antichrist Beast (7 heads, 10 horns, etc.). Nevertheless, the Moon exposes the Beast Within: the Beast within the human heart.
