Habakkuk Says “Run!”,

.

Part 3 “Heavenly Pavilion”

Okay, so in the last two devotionals, it was hopefully seen that Habakkuk’s prophecy is for the Church, God’s Elect, both Jews and Gentiles alike!

.

And since the Bible is a spiritual book, these prophecies must be “spiritually discerned”, “comparing spiritual things with spiritual”, “line upon line, here a little, and there a little”! (see 1st Corinthians 2:12-14 & Isaiah 28:9-12)

.

And so, Habakkuk speaks of spiritual ideas, spread upon a canvas of earthly types and shadows. Yes, God’s people are to flee from Satan’s armies! But we just can’t pack up and flee to the literal mountains!

“In the day when the towers fall!”

Isaiah 30:25

.

Well, as we look around, it is not hard to discern that the towers of man’s institutions are now falling, as Isaiah 30:25 foretells! And not just the Twin Towers in New York City!

.

Just look around! Public schools are beginning to promote sexual deviancy to young children! The television has become an advertisement for the qualities of Satan’s character! Courts are losing respect for the rule of law! Government is borrowing and printing money in an apparent financial suicide attempt!

.

“Thus saith the LORD, …maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;”

Isaiah 44:24

Everything around the world is going topsy-turvy, and all this leaves us bewildered as to just what is happening!

.

And if all that is not a fulfillment of the “towers falling”, just look at the churches and denominations! They are crumbling faster than society! Sexual deviants, spiritualists, ear-tickling-new-age “Christian” gurus, money grubbing carpetbaggers are taking over, it seems!

.

Even the conservative churches are greatly concerned with earthly prosperity and hedonistic pleasure-seeking!

.

HOW AND WHERE ARE WE TO FLEE?

.

And so, just how are we to flee unto Heavenly Sion? How are we and our children to escape the Sodom and Gomorrah, which just now springing up all around us?

.

The Bible tells us, in somewhat veiled, allegorical language… “In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; To go into the clefts of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth. Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?” Isaiah 2:20-22

.

So here it says that we must cast away our idols of silver and gold and go into the ragged rocks, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of His majesty, when He arises to shake terribly the earth! And as we look around at all that’s going on, we might be able to conclude that God is now shaking the earth terribly!

.

But how are we to flee?

.

HIDE YOURSELF…FOR A LITTLE MOMENT

Listen… “Come, My people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.” Isaiah 26:20, 21

.

So, this above passage reveals a little more about just how we are to escape all these things! We are to go into our chambers and hide as it were for a little moment. But what chambers? And how are we to hide?

.

Listen again… “Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought His judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.” Zephaniah 2:3.

.

Okay, so this above verse reveals that it is by seeking after meekness and righteousness, that the Lord might hide us in the Great Day of His Wrath!

And so, it’s high time that we take Habakkuk seriously, and begin to run that Christian race before us!

.

And as Isaiah 2:20, 21 counsels, we need to cast away our idols of silver and gold, and flee to the Rock of Ages, and hide ourselves in the secret place of His pavilion! And as Paul says, we must mortify our earthly body, and become a spiritual being, sitting with Christ in the Heavenly Most Holy Place!

.

After all, God has chosen us to be a Royal Priesthood! So as priests of God, where else would we possibly want to be, but in the priestly courts above where Christ sits as He ministers His priestly duties?

LOCATING THIS GROUP…

. .

These two sketches below are the same picture, one with stars only, the other with embellishments. These stars appear more or less like this when they are in the western sky, just before they sink below the western horizon (please excuse the less-than 100% accurate sketch). At the top of the sketches in the center is the Big Dipper. But with other surrounding stars, the Big Dipper is known as Ursa Major or the Great Bear. But as this website points out, Ursa Major is actually the Revelation 12 Woman. (Ursa Major appears much larger in the sky than this sketch shows. But in order to fit her into this drawing, the artist had to depict her much smaller)

IN THE WEST

.

This most amazing phenomenon is seen throughout the winter, and even into June at the beginning of night. It is seen best when it is the western part of the sky. Orion, the Dragon, and the Glorious Horse are beginning to descend into the western horizon. And at this point it is apparent that the Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation is veering toward the Narrow Gate Stars as you can see just to the left of the mountain. A dark night is best for seeing this. It begins with the Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation going towards these two doors. The doors are each composed of two bright stars. The two bright stars that comprise the Narrow Gate are the two brightest stars of the Orion the Reaper’s sickle. The two stars that comprise the Wide Gate Stars (to the right of the mountain) are the two brightest stars of the Wave of Water (AKA Auriga Constellation) that comes out of the Dragon Constellation’s mouth (for explanation of “Wave of Water”, just click here). The stars that make up the Narrow Gate are about one-third less the width of the Wide Gate. The two bright stars which symbolize the Wide Gate are Capella and Menkalinan. These are the brightest two stars of the Auriga Constellation. (For more information on Orion’s sickle, just click here, “Orion The Reaper”. )

Today’s Devotional – August 12th

.

Habakkuk Says “Run!”,

.

Part 2 “Heavenly Zion”

In yesterday’s devotional (click here to read), Habakkuk’s prophecy was lightly touched upon, to ask the question, “What does the Book of Habakkuk have to do with the Church today?”

.

And if you will read Part 1 (click here to read), it will begin to be seen that Habakkuk’s prophecy has everything to do with our current situation, as we see both the world and the churches being commandeered by Babylonians (the worldly-minded).

.

**Yes, secularists, and spiritualists, and lovers of “filthy lucre”(corrupt riches) have been moving in for years, but who, as of late, have stepped up their march against God’s little flock!**

.

And there is a giant paradigm-shift which is changing the face of the Church, the nation and the world with the speed of leopards! (“swifter than leopards” Habakkuk 1:8)

.

NOWHERE TO RUN!

.

**And so, because we are now seeing Habakkuk’s vision beginning to speak, we are commanded to “run”!**

.

But where are we to run to? After all, we just can’t flee to the wilderness! No, there are laws preventing God’s people from homesteading in our wilderness areas! Those days are long gone!

.

And so, here is a real dilemma! There doesn’t appear to be any place to run to! Satan has made sure of that!

.

So just what are we to do? Where are we to go?

.

SIGN IN THE HEAVENS

.

Well, the very Good News is, that God has given us a great sign in the heavens, which only confirms what the Bible already says!

.

And so, just what is this great sign, written in the very heavens?

.

You see, God has created a great constellation, which Babylonians have named Ursa Major. But Revelation 12 speaks of this same sign as a woman who gives birth to the Christ, but then flees to the wilderness, in attempt to escape the flood of evil water coming out of the mouth of Satan, that great red Dragon!

.

But here’s the amazing turnabout! You see, this headless woman with child slowly turns upside down as winter arrives, and finally appears like a fleeing woman, just as it says in Revelation 12.

.

And in this upside-down position, that single birth-star now becomes her head, just as Christ, “He is the head of the body, the Church”! Colossians 1:8

.

FLEEING FROM THE SERPENT

.

Listen… “And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.” Revelation 12:14, 15

.

And so, this constellation appears to be fleeing from the Dragon’s wave of water, just as it states above, in Revelation 12!

.

But where is this woman fleeing to?

.

Well, if a person waits till the last of winter, it can be seen that this woman leans forward and begins to fly. (You can also see this earlier in the season, by viewing her at the end of night)

.

But where is she flying to?

.

The wilderness?

.

Yes, but much more!

.

THE NARROW GATE & THE WIDE GATE

.

You see, if you look ahead of this woman, to the west, you will notice that there are two sets of twin stars.

.

One set is narrower than the other set. And these represent the Narrow Gate and the Wide Gate, spoken of in Matthew, Chapter 7.

.

Listen… “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:13, 14.

.

Okay, so this concept of these two gates, is right up there in the night sky! And these gates symbolize the two forms of Christianity in the world. One type of Christianity is pure and Christ-like. But the other, depicted by the wide gate, is worldly-minded and self-seeking!

.

MINE HIGH PLACES

.

But then Habakkuk gives another statement, likewise written in veiled, allegorical language!

.

Listen again … “The LORD God is my strength, and He will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine high places.” Habakkuk 3:19

.

**Okay, so here is where God’s people are to flee to. “Mine High Places”. But just what or where are “mine high places”?**

.

Well, in various places, the Bible speaks of these things in similar terms.

.

For instance, listen to Matthew… “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:” Matthew 24:15,16

.

Again, here is veiled, allegorical language, which basically says the same thing as Habakkuk.

.

We are to flee to the mountains.

.

But what mountains?

.

HEAVENLY ZION

.

Listen again… “They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about His people from henceforth even for ever.” Psalm 125:1, 2

.

So it says here that Mount Zion symbolizes those who truly trust in God.

.

And God compares Himself to the mountains surrounding Jerusalem. So, are we to flee to this spiritual Mount Zion? And are we to flee to the mountains which represent God Himself?

.

Well listen once more… “For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion: in the secret of His tabernacle shall He hide me; He shall set me up upon a Rock.” Psalm 27:5

.

So yes, you could say that heavenly Zion and the mountain of God Himself, are the “mine high places” spoken of in Habakkuk!

.

And of course, Paul only further confirms this idea!

.

Listen… “But God…hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:” Ephesians 2:4, 6

.

KINGDOM OF GOD WITHIN

.

And so, we are to flee to the Heavenly throne room of God, to sit with Him in the Heavenlies!

.

But how are we to flee to God’s mountains?

.

And so, this little discussion will, by the grace of God, be continued in tomorrow’s devotional.

And though all this information may be confusing to the new Reader, but as he or she continues on this website, a greater clarity may be achieved.

WIDE & NARROW GATES IN THE HEAVENS

.

As the opening verse says, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:13-14

.

So what are these two gates all about? And how can I choose the right door? Well, just read this article and these questions and more will be answered.

.

But before we explore these questions, let’s take a look at why these two sets of stars represent these two biblical gates.

.

This sketch, while not 100% accurate, gives a fair portrayal of how this constellation group appears at winter’s end and even into June, when above the western horizon.

.

HOW THE GATES RELATE TO ORION & DRAGON

.

This sketch below is when these constellations are in the eastern sky in early winter (However, this constellation group can even be seen as early as July, in the pre-dawn hours).

.

In the eastern sky, it’s not so easily seen which gate the Revelation 12 Woman will enter. The Wide Gate is made of the two brightest stars of this Wave of Water Constellation. Satan spews out the deadly water of his false worldly ideologies; which many of these ideologies have a form of godliness, but in some way are not in harmony; or perhaps these worldly ideologies add to the Bible, which is strictly forbidden (see Deuteronomy 4:2).

.

**On the other hand, the Strait Gate (narrow gate) is composed of the two brightest stars of the Orion The Reaper’s sickle. The true Strait Gate represents Jesus, the Word of God.**

.

Listen… “I [Jesus] am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” John 10:9

.

Today’s Devotional – August 11th

.

Habakkuk Says “Run!”

.

The Book of Habakkuk has been the source of great intrigue and much speculation! After all, it is a prophecy which concerns the last days.

.

And Habakkuk speaks of a time in the future in a mysterious manner…. “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:2, 3

.

And as this above passage says, there will be a vision which speaks at the end. And when this vision finally speaks, then whosoever reads and understands that vision, may run.

BUT WHERE DO WE RUN?

.

And so, just what was that vision which Habakkuk did see? And where must we run to when that vision begins to speak? And what or who should we run from in that day?

.

Listen… “For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwelling-places that are not theirs.” Habakkuk 1:6.

.

So, this above verse tells the great problem: Chaldeans (Babylonians) were moving in and possessing dwelling places, not their own.

.

But why was this a problem?

.

CORRUPTING, UNGODLY ASSOCIATIONS

.

Yes, why was this a problem? Just why were Babylonians a problem?

.

Listen again… “Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.” Habakkuk 1:4.

.

So here was the great problem. Babylonians were surrounding God’s people, causing a corrupting influence in God’s house.

.

OLD TESTAMENT STILL RELEVANT

.

But how can this be translated into our current situation? After all, the Bible clearly teaches… “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” 2nd Timothy 3:16, 17.

.

Yes, “all Scripture is profitable for Doctrine, and Reproof, and Correction, And Instruction in Righteousness”, that we may become perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works! And so, as this passage confirms, the Book of Habakkuk is likewise for our spiritual perfection, just as all the other books of the Old and New Testaments!

LUCIFER: KING OF BABYLON

.

Well, Isaiah, Chapter 14:4, 12 reveals that the King of Babylon is none other than Lucifer, that great fallen angel, whose invisible and undetected presence is nevertheless made manifest by all the sin, hatred, and misery around the globe.

.

And Revelation, Chapter 18 reveals that Babylon, though now a spiritual city, yet still exists, and has caused all nations to drink of God’s cup of wrath. And so, these two chapters, plus other places in the Bible reveal that Babylon symbolizes Satan’s kingdom of sin and selfishness: This present world-system!

.

And so, what Habakkuk was seeing can likewise be translated to, “we upon whom is come the ends of the world!” And all we have to do, is to look at what’s happening in the world and in the church-world, to see that a paradigm shift, like none other in history is going on all around us! And even in the church-world, there is a takeover being commandeered by false brethren! And so, the current apostasy is sweeping through the churches, “as swift as leopards”, as Habakkuk 1:8 says.

APOSTASY THROUGHOUT HISTORY

.

But all this was abundantly prophesied of! For instance, listen to Paul… “For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.” Acts 20:29

.

Now, of course, the great apostasy has been going on ever since Paul was executed! So, what’s new?

.

Well, actually, there has been two great apostasies. The first was in Europe, during the Dark Ages, and ended after the Reformation with the invention of the printing press, which churned out Bibles by the thousands! (see Revelation 13:14)

.

APOSTASY NOW!

.

But ever since Christian persecution ended in Europe and America, the churches in those Reformation nations have been more and more mingling with the world, bringing many worldlings (Chaldeans) into the church!

.

And so, the churches have mostly existed in a state of apostasy, to a greater or lesser degree, throughout history.

.

So exactly what is the difference at the end, which will cause God’s true worshipers to run?

.

Well, as Habakkuk says… “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:2, 3

.

And so, there will be a time when Habakkuk’s vision will begin to speak to God’s Elect. And at that time, God’s people are commanded to flee!

“And there appeared a great wonder (sign) in heaven; a woman…And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. This above passage is a very condensed version of Revelation, Ch. 12. (To read entire Chapter 12, click here)

From time to time, the Book of Revelation mentions stars. But when we get to Revelation Chapter 12, it speaks of two “great signs in heaven”. First, it speaks of the sign in heaven of a woman with child. Then it speaks of the sign in heaven of a great red dragon, with a tail that sweeps one-third of the stars and casts these stars down to the earth. So we get the sense that this phenomenon that the Apostle John was seeing, was closely intertwined with the starry host of the heavens. WORLD-WIDE POWER OF TELEVISION

.

In yesterday’s devotional (click here), a case was presented, that TV is an integral part of what the Image and Mark of the Beast is all about. And in order to properly understand all that was presented, the Reader would have to read yesterday’s short article (about 10 minutes of reading)

.

**Well, yesterday’s devotional (click here) laid the basic foundation of what the Mark of the Beast and his Image is about.**

.

But today’s devotional is concerned with the heart, and just why and how it must be purified.

.

“(UNBELIEVERS SHALL BE)…THORNS IN YOUR SIDE”

Numbers: 33:55.

.

Perhaps, the best place to begin today’s devotional, is with God’s purpose for all the killing in the Old Testament. And let’s face it! With all the many thousands of lives that were forfeited in the Old Testament, you could say that God was really putting an exclamation mark on what He was trying to convey to us!

.

And so, this is perhaps one of the most important concepts in Scripture… “Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places…for I have given you the land to possess it.” Numbers 33:52, 53 (condensed for brevity)

.

The driving out of all the non-worshippers of Jehovah was one of the great themes of the Old Testament! It is the subject of many of the Old Testament stories.

.

But just what was the purpose of all that killing? Is God some sort of tyrant? Does God have so little regard for human life?

.

“COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM!”

2nd Corinthians 6:17

.

When Jesus came to the earth, He put to rest much of the notion that God is a vengeful God. Yes, Jesus was totally a man of peace, never once retaliating against one of His many foes!

.

So then, in light of Jesus’ peaceful ways, just what was the reason for all those bloody battles in the Old Testament?

.

Well, it must be understood that all those OT stories about the children of Israel rooting out the enemies were actually metaphorical pictures of what Christians must do in our own hearts and minds.

.

That’s right, we must purify our hearts! We need to root out all those sinful traits which have long ruled over our minds. Those sinful traits which are common among the unbelievers of the world, but have no place in the hearts and minds of God’s people!

.

Just listen… “And every man that hath this hope in Him purifieth himself, even as He is pure.” 1st John 3:3.

.

Notice this verse says “EVERY MAN that has this hope in Him (Jesus), purifies himself…”. So, this commandment to purify our hearts, is not just for some, but for every Christian!

EVIL COMMUNICATIONS CORRUPT!

.

And so, our great commission to purify our hearts and minds, was God’s purpose in giving us those many stories of bloody battles!

.

But why is it important to separate from sin and sinners? Why are we to “come out from among them, and be ye separate” from unbelievers? (2nd Corinthians 6:17)

.

Well, the Bible makes it very clear that “Be not deceived! Evil communications corrupts good manners (behavior)” 1st Corinthians 15:33. And so, separating from ungodly influences is an integral part of the purification process!

.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TRUE & FALSE

.

So here we see the difference between a true child of God, and a false brother. The false brethren love this world and have no desire to be fully purified into Christ’s image.

.

Oh yes. they are very happy to put Jesus on a pedestal and to venerate Him. And they don’t mind being somewhat moral. But never to become like Him within!

.

To be truly Christ-like requires death-to-self. And death-to-self would be much too great of a sacrifice for any worldly-minded “Christian”. After all, to die-to-self, and become totally Christ-like, would then require the Christian to forsake this world with all its selfish pleasures and ambitious pursuits. And to give all this up would be totally unacceptable to the worldly-minded.

THE MARK = IDEALS OF THE HEART

.

**If you or I have the attributes of Satan’s evil World-System guiding our lives, then, in essence, we have the Mark of the Beast.**

.

On the other hand, if we have the virtues and attributes of Jesus guiding our lives, we then have God’s seal in our foreheads (“in our forehead” actually means, in our heart and mind—see Deuteronomy Ch. 6:6-8). To put it concisely, it’s all about “just who is ruling my heart?”.

.

Listen… “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” 2nd Corinthians 10:4-6.

.

This passage is commanding Christians that our hearts and minds must be totally purified and filled with godly thoughts. Now as we can see, Paul put this above passage in military terms. And he did this for a very good reason! This is the battle we must fight! This is the hill we must conquer! And this is the war we must win!

.

To overcome “self” is the great work before us.

BATTLEFIELD OF THE HEART

.

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee.” Isaiah 26:3.

.

This above verse is a much more peaceful and pleasant way of saying the very same truth which Paul just spoke of. Yes, to keep our minds totally fixed upon Jesus and His Word, is a much more pleasant way of saying what Paul put in military terms!

.

But Paul said it in battle-ready terms… “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and…etc…”.

.

And the reason Paul put it in military terms, is because he knew this would be every bit as much a battle as was the overtaking of the Promised Land by the children of Israel! Oh no, we are not to use slaughter weapons as does the world, to win our war. But we are to root out the enemy…out of our heart. This is the Christian warfare. This is what overcoming is all about for the Christian!

ANTICHRIST SPIRIT

.

If God is ruling, then my heart will be filled with God’s attributes. And God wants no compromise. God does not accept a divided heart. “Ye cannot serve God and Mammon.” Matthew 6:25. If Lucifer is ruling, then my heart will be filled with the attributes of the world.

.

Listen to what God has to say about Antichrists… “They (antichrists) are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.” 1st John 4:5.

.

SIMPLE SOLUTION!

.

Well, the very Good News is, that the solution to all this is very simple! God wants us to cease from hearing and seeing the evil instruction which we are bombarded with, every day! And instead, God wants us to fill our heart with His life-giving instruction which comes from His glorious Word, the Bible.

.

The difficult part of all this is, that this is an entirely impossible mission, without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Yes, only by God’s wonderful gift of the Holy Spirit, can we even do the tiniest work of God upon our heart!

.

But in these last days, God has given us a wonderful promise… “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13.

.

Yes, in these last hours of earth’s history, God is willing to pour out all Heaven’s resources, to ensure our complete victory!

**In the winter-night skies, this most amazing constellation can be seen. It is called “The Chariot of Orion Constellation”.**

.

Yes, this most remarkable constellation is spoken of in Psalm 104…“O LORD my God, Thou art very great; Thou art clothed with honour and majesty. Who coverest Thyself with light as with a garment: Who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain: Who layeth the beams of His chambers in the waters: Who maketh the clouds His chariot: Who walketh upon the wings of the wind:” Psalm 104:1-3

.

As this star-chart reveals, Orion, along with the Beta-star from the Eridanus Constellation, depicts Orion riding on a chariot made of clouds, being pulled by sheep.

.

WHY SHEEP?

.

Now, the reason why sheep are illustrated in those clouds, is because, when viewing Eridanus in the night-sky, one can see that it appears like sheep (however, not so much when looking at a star-chart).

.

And, one reason for clouds is because the chariot wheel is only partially represented by stars. In other words, this constellation is incomplete, as far as the wheel has been depicted by our Creator Who fashioned it in the day when He created this constellation.

.

And so, because Eridanus has these sheep-like, cloud-like curves, and the partial wheel, the natural inclination was that God fashioned this constellation to depict Psalm 104’s description…“Who maketh the clouds His chariot”.

Television & The Beast’s Mark!

.

Part 1

TALKING IMAGE PROPHESIED OF…

“And he (the 2nd Beast) had power to give life unto the image of the (1st) Beast, that the image of the (1st) Beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the (1st) Beast should be killed.” Revelation 13:15

.

TELEVISION: GREATEST INVENTION EVER?

.

Is the above title true? Is television the greatest invention ever? Well, one thing is for sure: television has had an enormous impact upon the world!

.

Truly in many households, it has become the centerpiece of everyday life! And also, it makes a wonderful babysitter for the young, and even a faithful friend to the old and to the infirm and to the confined.

.

But television has not remained constant. No, television has devolved from a somewhat quasi-moral beginning, and has gradually slipped down, down, down, into deeper and darker decadence and immorality. Since its first appearance in the mid 20th Century, it has morphed from a “Leave It To Beaver” mentality to a…well…let it suffice to say: it’s less than it once was, to put it mildly!

MIND CONTROL!

.

“Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causes to err from the words of knowledge.” Proverbs 9:27

.

This above verse cautions us to be careful about what we hear! False instruction has a deleterious effect upon our heart and soul!

HIGH-TECH BRAIN-WASHING

.

**Of course, the Enemy of Souls understands this, and in these last days, Satan has developed the means of exerting mind-control over the masses: Christian and secular alike!**

.

Yes, Satan knows that he is in danger of losing control over humanity, in these last days! And so, in effort to marshal his vast armies, he has developed the means of “brain-washing” and exerting mind-control, via the high-tech devices now being used by more and more of the world’s population!

.

Oh yes, these devices have a seemingly benign purpose for communication.

.

But this devotional will attempt to show how “seemingly” good things are being used also, as tools of Satan to control the minds of the people and nations around the world.

.

“THEY (people of the world) SHOULD MAKE AN IMAGE TO THE BEAST”…

Revelation 13:14

.

Television is Satan’s Ultimate Mind-Control Device! It is a very powerful medium. The music, the lighting, the drama, the false goodness. Television, Internet, radio, etc., possess a powerful persuasion that is often more than Humankind can resist.

.

As one Nazi leader once put it, “If you tell a lie often enough and loud enough, eventually people will begin to believe it!” And television not only tells such lies 24/7/365, but also dresses up those lies, making them look and sound very appealing, mingling them with truth and beauty.

.

But what does this have to do with “Me” making an image to the Beast? After all, I’ve never even carved one single statue in my lifetime!

.

But wait! If my character becomes conformed to the qualities which our modern-media society compels us to conform to…then I, myself, become an image…an image to Satan’s world…and ultimately, into an image of Satan, though to a lesser degree! In a very real sense, I have carved an idol in my heart!

THE TRUE IMAGE IS IN MY OWN HEART

.

So now it begins to be seen that this image is much more than just television. It really has to do with just who is sitting upon the throne of my heart. What or who a person worships, is really about whoever a man, or woman, or child gives homage to; and the modern media is all about character.

.

Just listen… “And (the False Prophet) deceiveth them that dwell on the earth…saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast…” Revelation 13:14.

.

Notice that it says here that the people of the world are commanded to, “make an image to the beast”. Now obviously, not every person is making a television, are they? But those in the world who are being conformed to the image of the Beast (this Anti-Christian world system) are indeed, making an image right in their very own heart!

EVIL COMMUNICATIONS CORRUPT

.

And what about this next passage?… “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee an evil mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.” Proverbs: 4:23, 24. Incredible! This verse warns that the heart, above all things, must be protected!

.

When I seek after the companionship of television or radio, I slowly and imperceptibly become like the programs watched, or listened to, to a certain degree.

.

If the program is constantly pointing the accusing finger at others, this will rub off on the listener.

.

If the program displays violence and murders being committed…the viewer becomes desensitized to violence and even to murder!

.

If the show has joking and jesting, then the viewer tends to become a jester.

.

If it is sensual, his or her heart tends toward sensuality.

.

If it is about atheistic science and other faithless ideologies…it tends to inspire faithlessness and pseudo-science within the viewer.

.

If it is filled with common and worldly chatter, the listener will speak as the world speaks, instead of as Jesus spoke!

.

And on and on it goes!

“THEY HAVE NO CHANGES”

.

“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” 1st Corinthians 15:33.

.

In the simplest terms, a person becomes changed into the image of what he or she fills up the heart and mind with. This, by the way, is the essence of what the Mark of the Beast is all about: whose image, whose likeness have I been filling up my heart with?

.

And on Judgment Day, it says… “As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when Thou awakest, Thou shalt despise their image.” Psalm 73:20.

.

Yes, we’ve all wondered if God has been asleep on the job. But that Day is coming! And our infinite, all-seeing God will not be slumbering on that Day! And it will be revealed to each of us, just whose character has been impressed upon the tablets of our heart!

But we have this wonderful promise, that by beholding Jesus, through all-day contemplation of His Word, we can become changed, more-and-more into His glorious and wonderful image and likeness…

“But we all, with open face

“THE SCORNER (THE PHARISEE)”

THIS BEAST WITHIN

Well, the Bible has much to say about Pharisees.

.

And the Bible has much to say about wolves, and foxes, and dogs. And this wolf-face inscribed in the Moon has much to tell us about ourselves!

.

So if you are a truth-seeker, then this article will be an eye-opener, as we explore just what the Bible has to say about these things. And the fact is, this Pharisee Moon-Beast is in the heart of each and every human.

Today’s Devotional – August 8th

Ten Sleeping Virgins!

.

“Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.” Matthew 25:1-5

.

Most all of us have heard that infamous parable about the Ten Virgins, and how five were wise and five were foolish! And we frown at those Five Foolish ones, don’t we?

.

But the fact is, all ten were sleeping! So why were the wise any more wise than those foolish ones?

.

WHAT KIND OF SLEEP?

.

First, it must be understood what kind of sleep both groups were engaged in, when the call came… “Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him!” Matthew 25:6

.

Well, perhaps the last verse of this parable will help… “Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.” Matthew 25:13

.

And so, this parable ends with Jesus warning us to WATCH! But obviously, if one is sleeping, they cannot be watching, can they? Therefore, all ten virgins, both wise and foolish were not watching like they should have been! They were all having a good time, like these virgins seem to be doing in this painting!

TWO DIFFERENT SLEEPS!

.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee,” Hosea 4:6

.

Perhaps this next painting might help us to understand more about the sleepiness of all ten virgins. Yes, all ten in this painting look sleepy. But there is a big difference between the two camps, isn’t there? One group is sleepy, yet have their Bibles open, and are praying, and are doting upon Jesus, etc..

.

But the other five are sleepy with the amusements and pursuits of this world of selfish pride and pleasures.

.

WICKED COMPASS THE RIGHTEOUS!

And of course, we all know that Salvation is a free gift, not at all dependent upon any work!

.

But what many in the Church are ignorant of is, that those who truly receive that gift, will ultimately overcome the world, and will finally crucify the “Old Man” of sin, within! (see Ephesians 4:22, regarding;”Old Man”)

.

And so, Salvation is not the result of overcoming, but overcoming is the result of true Salvation!

And this great ignorance is because many biblically illiterate church-goers are putting their trust in false shepherds who tell them that they have “peace and safety” (see 1st Thessalonians 5:3).

Yes, many “grievous wolves” in today’s pulpits are leading their parishioners to the slaughter-house of the Devil! (Acts 20:29)

.

Listen… “O My people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.” Isaiah 3:12

.

This verse from Isaiah warns us, just who it is, which will deceive God’s people: not the cults, not the secularists, but our very own, beloved church leaders!

THE WISE GO INTO THE MARRIAGE

.

**Yes, it’s true that even the wise ones in the “Commonwealth of Israel” are sl**eeping: that is, Christians, spiritual Israel, are sleeping! (Ephesians 2:12)

.

God’s people are just not watching to the degree that we should be! And the example set by the Foolish Virgins within Christendom, has had such a degenerating influence on the Wise, that the Wise, just like the foolish, have had the bottle of Babylon’s wine put to our lips, and have drunken from it!

.

But the Good News is, that “there has been found some good thing” in them: a tiny flicker of light from the holy lamp doth yet shine within their hearts! Yes, and because it still shines, those Wise Ones can see their way into the Marriage Supper of the Lamb!

.

Listen… “And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.” Matthew 25:8-10

OIL RAN OUT!

Now, sadly, the Foolish Ones were so busy enjoying this present self-seeking world, that they didn’t bother to hide God’s Word in their hearts! Nor did they learn or practice daily, walking by God’s “exceeding great and precious promises”. (2nd Peter 1:4)

.

And they were so busy with their lucrative careers and/or time-consuming pleasures, that they neglected the heart purification process. They were still worldly and unconverted! And when the call came, and the light of the Bible is extinguished, they begged for the Wise Ones to remain in their fallen congregations to share their heavenly light and Bible wisdom.

.

But in the house-apostate, there was no marriage supper! It was business as usual for those in the fallen and desolate house: one day giving lip-service to God, and the other six days, rendering heart-service to the many idols and pleasures and proud pursuits of this world, the kingdom of selfishness!

BIBLE STUDY, PRAYER, CONTEMPLATION

And so, if there is one point to be made from this devotional, it just might be this: we’ve all been deceived! We’ve all allowed our shepherds and fellow church-members to dissuade us, to a great degree, from being fully engaged in the purification process of our heart!

.

Yes, as Habakkuk warned us… “Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.” Habakkuk 1:4.

.

And as this above verse reveals, the corrupting influence of apostate churches has caused even the Five Wise ones to become spiritually drunk and drowsy! And yet, to a degree, they have still improved upon the talents given them: the talents of Bible study, prayer, and seeking to become transformed into the Lord’s Image!

SOME GOOD NEWS!

Now amidst all this negativity, there is some Good News! Yes, God is graciously giving us a little time to turn from our sleepy-eyed ways, and put our heavenly armor on!

And so, let’s awaken from our deep slumber and arise and shine! Because, the Son of Righteousness is even now arising with healing in His wings!

So let’s turn from our former ways, and put our heavenly armor on!

This constellation was identified on May 22nd, 2014. It is simply five stars, two from the Serpens Constellation, and three from the Hercules Constellation.

What gives this constellation impetus and significance is that it appears as five evenly positioned stars, in a slight oval pattern, as if they were sitting in a meeting, listening, or perhaps watching someone.

Second, they appear to be gathered in front of The Crown of Revelation 12 Constellation. (just below Corona Borealis in this Wikipedia star-chart, in which the editor of this site sketched in these two constellations)

GATHERED AROUND GLORIOUS CROWN!

The position of these stars is significant in a number of ways. The first, being that these Five Wise Virgins are gathered around the 12-star Crown of Revelation 12. And the obvious message here is, that these wise virgins represent the faithful portion of God’s Church. And as wise virgins, they understand the importance of winning the glorious crown of victory, which Jesus promised.

Listen… “Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.” 1st Corinthians 9:24, 25.

.

And so, God is showing us the difference between the wise and the foolish in His Church. While the wise are gathered around this crown of victory, the foolish are nowhere to be found. This is because the foolish in the Church are much more concerned about the world, with all its pleasures and pursuits. They have little or no time to devote themselves to the pursuit of the treasures of Heaven! They pride themselves into believing that their industrious work-ethics have God’s approval. But God merely sees them only as workers of iniquity.

Valley of Decision Now!

Part 2:

“Wise & Foolish?”

A continuation of Part 1, “August 5th (Valley Of Decision, Now!)”

.

In August 5th, Part 1 (click here to read), the basic concept of the Valley of Decision was briefly spoken of. Yes, it is a valley which comes to each and every human who comes into the world.

.

Listen… “That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.” John 1:9.

.

As this above verse reveals, every man, woman, and child who is born into this world will have opportunity to decide whether or not to worship the true Creator/Redeemer God.

VALLEY OF DECISION NOW APPEARING IN SKY!

.

Now as we look into the night heavens in mid-Summer through Fall, the Lord has created a constellation group to represent this Valley of Decision concept! It appears as two mountains, with a valley between. One Mount represents the Mount Gerizim, the Mount of Blessings, and the other represents Mount Ebal, the Mount of Cursings, as spoken of in Deuteronomy 11:29.

Listen… “These (6 tribes of Israel) shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are come over Jordan…And these (the other 6 tribes) shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse;” Deuteronomy 27:12, 13

.

And so these two mountains represent the blessings which come to those who obey God, or the cursings which come upon the disobedient!

Okay, so this is a really simple concept! Blessings for the obedient! Cursing for the disobedient! Not much to get mixed up with!

.

But Satan is not satisfied with such an either/or choice! No, Satan has made it his chief goal to confuse the issue! And so, he has created the societies of the world to make it seem as though there is a third alternative!

.

In other words, Satan has designed this world to be a place of exciting and intriguing people, places, and things to do! It is a world of selfish pleasures and self-promoting ambitions! And yet, the people to a great extent are seemingly moral and law-abiding.

.

Very confusing, to say the least!

“O DESTROYING MOUNTAIN, BABYLON”

.

And so, if you look carefully, there is a third mountain to the right. And in the summer/fall night-sky, it is to the south of the other two mountains, as you look eastward.

.

You see, this third mountain is called, “O Destroying Mountain, Babylon Constellation”. It represents the kingdom of Satan, which he has created this world to be. Yes, Satan has done an incredible job of creating this world to be a sort of alternative choice to God’s universal kingdom of unselfish love! Satan, however, offers Mankind his own kingdom: a kingdom of selfishness in which a person can “do his own thing”, as the saying goes!

“THE WAYS OF DEATH”

Proverbs 14:12

The problem is, while God’s kingdom leads to life everlasting, Satan’s kingdom leads to destruction and finally, death. As you can see in this drawing, there appears to be a highway going straight downward to the Revelation 12 Dragon. This Dragon represents Satan. And you will notice a five-star wheel-like configuration which appears to be rolling down that highway toward the Dragon. Well, that represents the Five Foolish Virgins, as foretold in Matthew, Chapter 25. These Foolish Virgins represent all those who begin the Christian life, but who still try to hang on to the pleasures and proud pursuits of this selfish world. Yes, this five-star wheel is rolling straight down into the “belly of Hell”!

WISE VIRGINS

.

Now, if you will also notice the oval-shaped object which appears to be making its way up the side of the Mount of Blessing (mountain farthest to the left). This object is actually the largest looking galaxy in the night-sky, commonly referred to as Andromeda. Well, this galaxy represents the Five Wise Virgins! And that same passage in Matthew explains that the Five Wise Virgins represent those who come into the Church, who use their time and means, to purify their hearts, in hopes of becoming transformed into the likeness of Jesus!

And so, right up there in the night-sky, God has given us a picture of the basic concept of the battle-lines between Satan and his deceived, foolish captives, and God and His wise followers!

WISE & FOOLISH VIRGINS IN WEST!

.

Now, if this isn’t amazing enough, there is much more to all this! You see, on the other side of the night-sky in August and September, in the first hours of darkness, there appears another constellation group. And this group is also known as the Five Wise & the Five Foolish Virgins. They depict the very same Wise & Foolish Virgins which are in the east, in the Valley of Decision Constellation Group.

.

Now these Wise & Foolish Virgins in the west are located on either side of the 12-Star Crown of Revelation 12 Constellation (aka, Corona Borealis). But the Five Wise Virgins are somewhat encircling that Crown, while the Foolish are curved away from that Crown! And this represents the two divisions of the Church: those who are wise and faithful, and those who are foolish and apostate! The wise are paying attention to this Crown of Victory, while the foolish have their backs turned to that Crown. In other words, only those who are wise will understand and appreciate just how important the gift of Salvation is. And so, only the wise-ones in God’s house, are striving to win that Crown of Victory, as is written… “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.” James 1:12

THE SERPENT OF OLD CONSTELLATION

Now all this is a lot to try to comprehend in one sitting. But this devotional will attempt to present just one more aspect to these two constellation groups.

.

You see, the Five Foolish Virgins which are encircling the Crown, are part of a long snake-like constellation, which is called the “The Serpent of Old Constellation”. The head and jaws of this serpent is made of the same four stars commonly known as Draco the Dragon. Yes, the ancient astronomers got it partially correct, when they named this dragon, Draco! However, the body of Draco is completely different from “The Serpent of Old Constellation”.

SERPENT’S JAWS POINT TO TWO DESTINATIONS

Now as you can see, the Serpent of Old Constellation appears to be heading straight across the heavens in the direction of The Valley of Decision Constellation!

.

Now here is the really amazing part of all this! If you go out in the night, and find these constellations, you might be able to see that the two jaws of Draco are pointing in two very different directions! One jaw is pointing to the Mount of Cursing in the Valley of Decision Constellation. And the other jaw points straight to the Broad Way to Destruction which goes from the O Destroying Mountain, Babylon Constellation down into the Revelation 12 Dragon Constellation!

Now the obvious message here is that God has created these two constellation groups to present a clear picture of Salvation of His Elect, wise ones, and the damnation of all those who foolishly try to hold on to this selfish world of sin!

LOCATING THIS CONSTELLATION GROUP…

.

Look eastward in the early summer through fall. Find the Cassiopeia Constellation. Cassiopeia is the Mount of Blessing. In the sketch, it is the farthest mountain to the left. In the sky, it is the northern-most of these three mountains when facing eastward. It resembles a pyramid. Then find the next pyramid to its right (south). Then go a little further south to the next third pyramid. The third snow-cap is the Destroying Mountain Constellation. These three pyramids are the snow-capped portion of these three mountains in this sketch. (of course, you won’t see the snow-caps in the sky. They are just an embellishment in this sketch to present a concept-EDITOR).

“Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.” Micah 4:1, 2

THE VALLEY OF DECISION CONSTELLATION GROUP. They appear in mid-summer in the eastern skies in pre-dawn hours. These are made of Cassiopeia (mount on left), and various stars from the Andromeda Constellation (valley) Pegasus (Mount of Cursing (middle mount) & Destroying Mount (right)), and Pisces (Broad Way to Hell). The galaxy which appears to be climbing the Mountain of Blessing is the Andromeda Galaxy.

The above Wikipedia star-chart shows this amazing constellation group as it appears from June to fall, just prior to the winter constellation group. Actually, this Valley of Decision Constellations appear in early summer in the pre-dawn hours. (Editor of this website has sketched in this constellation group onto this above Wikipedia star-chart.)

Now another incredible aspect to all this is that this snake/serpent is winding its way around the backside of this Crown. And it is traveling in a direction away from the Crown! And one really phenomenal aspect to this, is that each jaw (composed of two stars each) is pointing in two directions. In other words, if you drew a line parallel with these two sets of stars (the head of Draco), they each go in two directions: one leading to the Valley of Decision Constellation, and the other going straight to the Broad Way to Hell Constellation (AKA Pisces).

.

Now if one studies the Valley of Decision Constellation, it is soon discovered that the same concept, of the Wise and Foolish Virgins, is also depicted in this constellation group. The Five Wise Virgins being depicted by the Andromeda Galaxy, and the Five Foolish Virgins, looking like a wheel, rolling its way down into the Dragon Constellation!

Now, before this gets too confusing, perhaps we should dissect each aspect individually, to get a basic understanding of just what all this means.

Valley Of Decision Now,

Part 3:

“Which Jesus To Choose?”

for the day of the Lord is near in the ‘Valley of Decision’.”

SATAN COMES AS AN ANGEL OF LIGHT!

If only the Valley Of Decision were as simple as choosing between Jesus or Satan! But Satan has made sure the choice is very difficult! You see, the Enemy of Souls has complicated the situation greatly by raising up false gospels.

Listen… “For Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” 2nd Corinthians 11:13-15

.

And so, the true Gospel of Jesus is not so easy to discern, especially in these days of high-tech communications! Yes, with just a simple click, a person can listen to just about any type of gospel that their heart desires!

And so, this Valley Of Decision comes to us and asks us the question, “Which Jesus will you choose?”

Oh, is this above question surprising? Is there more than one Jesus? What does the Bible say about this?

Listen once again… “For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.” 2nd Corinthians 11:3, 4

.

Yes, as this above passage reveals, Satan has greatly obliterated the “simplicity that is in Christ” And so, by impersonating Christ, Satan comes as an angel of light, inspiring his “ministers of Righteousness”, to take control of as many pulpits as he possibly can!

AGAIN, WHAT JESUS WILL YOU CHOOSE?

And so, as a result, there is no shortage of Jesus’, which one can choose to serve.

And so, the Valley Of Decision comes, and asks each of us the question: “Which Jesus will you choose to serve?”

Or maybe a “good-works Jesus”? That way, I don’t have to die-to-self. I can just pay my tithes, go to church each week, do some good works and still go after this selfish, materialistic world!

Or maybe a “sensual Jesus”? Just sing some sensual praise songs, wave my hands in the air, close my eyes, and utter some verbal “praises”. That way, I can still live my selfish (but very moral) life, and mingle with unbelievers!

Maybe an “anything-goes Jesus”? This Jesus allows me to pursue just about any lifestyle I wish!

Or maybe a “dashboard Jesus”? That way, I can put Jesus and the other saints on a pedestal, and simply pay homage to them, instead of following Jesus!

AT THE CROSSROADS OF LIFE…

As we all know, life is made up of one decision after another. Some are of little consequence. Others are more important. And then there are those times which require life-changing decisions.

The Bible speaks of the Valley of Decision…“Multitudes, multitudes in the ‘Valley of Decision’…for the day of the Lord is near in the ‘Valley of Decision’.” Joel 3:14. Of course, this valley is a spiritual concept and not a literal place.

.

**But God has inscribed this very truth in the heavens. It is called “The Valley of Decision” Constellation. It speaks of that valley that each person must walk through.**

.

LOCATING THIS CONSTELLATION GROUP…

.

Look eastward in the early summer through fall. Find the Cassiopeia Constellation. Cassiopeia is the Mount of Blessing.

.

In the sketch, it is the farthest mountain to the left. In the sky, it is the northern-most of these three mountains when facing eastward. It resembles a pyramid. Then find the next pyramid to its right (south). Then go a little further south to the next third pyramid. The third snow-cap is the Destroying Mountain Constellation. These three pyramids are the snow-capped portion of these three mountains in this sketch. (of course, you won’t see the snow-caps in the sky. They are just an embellishment in this sketch to present a concept-EDITOR). .

Valley Of Decision, Now!

Part 1

“Multitudes, multitudes in the ‘Valley of Decision’…

for the day of the Lord is near in the ‘Valley of Decision’.”

Joel 3:14

What if someone told you that a great image of the Valley of Decision, spoken of by Joel, the Prophet, was up in the night-sky? Would that make you nervous? It probably would, wouldn’t it?

.

But the fact is, the Valley of Decision is much closer than that!

.

Oh yes, it is even much closer than that Valley of Megiddo, over in there in Palestine!

.

VALLEY COMES TO US IN OUR HEART!

.

You see, the Valley of Decision comes to us right in our very own heart and mind!

.

It is a valley that each and every man, woman, and child must walk through in his or her lifetime!

.

And it can come at any time in one’s life.

.

Perhaps even on the very day prior to a fatal accident!

.

“…WHICH LIGHTS EVERY MAN…”

For the unbeliever, The Valley of Decision is spoken of in John 1:9 as “the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world.” John 1:9.

Yes, this light shines in every man’s heart and beckons him to, “Go and sell that ye have, and come and follow Me.”

.

And for the one who has already begun to walk the Pilgrim’s Way, to follow Jesus, as a disciple, the Valley of Decision can still yet come to that person, asking the question… “Are you willing to forsake all, and follow Jesus even into that death-to-self, which kills all selfish desires? Are you willing to trade that “self” for the incredible Agape love of Jesus?”

MANY TURNED BACK!

Yes, there were many disciples in the days of Jesus’ earthly ministry, who finally could take no more of His self-sacrificing life, and simply turned away from following Him, and walked no more with Him!

And so, the Valley of Decision comes to us, silently in the night, and asks the question, “Will ye also go away?” John 6:67

Well, this article began by asking the question… “What if someone told you that a great image of the Valley of Decision, spoken of by Joel, the Prophet, was up in the night-sky?

VALLEY OF DECISION NOW APPEARING!

Well, the fact is, the Valley of Decision is up in the night-sky! Yes, there is a constellation group which is called the Valley of Decision Constellation Group.

And it first appears in Summer, and comes out each night well into Fall. And God is now revealing the Signs Of Heaven promised in Luke 21:25.

.

Listen… “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars…And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” Luke 21:25, 28

.

And so, it says here that… “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”

LOCATING THIS CONSTELLATION GROUP…

.

Look eastward in the early summer through fall. Find the Cassiopeia Constellation. Cassiopeia is the Mount of Blessing. In the sketch, it is the farthest mountain to the left. Now another incredible aspect to all this is that this snake/serpent is winding its way around the backside of this Crown. And it is traveling in a direction away from the Crown! And one really phenomenal aspect to this, is that each jaw (composed of two stars each) is pointing in two directions. In other words, if you drew a line parallel with these two sets of stars (the head of Draco), they each go in two directions: one leading to the Valley of Decision Constellation, and the other going straight to the Broad Way to Hell Constellation (AKA Pisces).

.

Now if one studies the Valley of Decision Constellation, it is soon discovered that the same concept, of the Wise and Foolish Virgins, is also depicted in this constellation group. The Five Wise Virgins being depicted by the Andromeda Galaxy, and the Five Foolish Virgins, looking like a wheel, rolling its way down into the Dragon Constellation!

Now, before this gets too confusing, perhaps we should dissect each aspect individually, to get a basic understanding of just what all this means.

**Have you ever heard the expression, “Preaching the right sermon to the wrong crowd”? Well, there’s a lot of that going around in today’s Christendom!**

.

An earlier devotional, “March 29th (Preaching to the Wrong Church!)” (Click here to read), dealt with this modern-day spiritual plague!

.

In that devotional, it was discussed how preachers today, like to talk to their congregation, as if they are all, “signed, sealed, and delivered saints”!

.

And probably just the opposite is true!

.

SODOM RISING

.

Yes, in this current generation of the great apostasy of today’s churches, the chances of finding “ten righteous men” in any one congregation, are about as slim as they were in Sodom, on the day of her destruction!

.

And yet, pastors are preaching sermons that would be okay, if only they were preached to the Church of Philadelphia.

.

But what today’s church needs, is a sermon for the church of Laodicea… “knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:” Revelation 3:17.

.

This is the message we need to hear, today!

PREACHING TO THE WRONG CROWD

.

**Now in yesterday’s devotional (click here to read), a certain You-Tube evangelist/humorist was telling his audience how important it is to be rejoicing in the Lord, at all times!**

.

Well, to tell the Church of Philadelphia that we need to “rejoice in the Lord always” would be a very correct message. But today’s church is anything but the church at Philadelphia! At best, we are the church at Laodicea! Both you and I and all of us need to hear sermons directed to that Lukewarm church!

.

The fact is, we need to be weeping and mourning! Paul said to “rejoice in the Lord always”. But he was addressing this statement to the Philippian church. They had every reason to rejoice! We don’t!

.

JOEL IS WHO WE NEED TO HEAR!

.

What we all need is to have the book of Joel preached to us. Oh no, not the part about seeing visions and dreaming dreams! No, we need to hear… “Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine, for it is cut off from your mouth.” Joel 1:5

.

Yes, we have been drunken with the wine of Babylon, which is served up to us daily.

.

And if we watch a copious amount of television, as this certain aforementioned You-Tube pastor admits to watching, to some degree, then we are certainly drinking the poisonous cup of Babylonish wine!

‘Come, lie all night in sackcloth!”

.

Listen to more of Joel… “Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God…Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD. Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.” Joel 1;13-15.

We have been called, in Peter’s letter, to be a royal priesthood! We are the only true priesthood in these last moments of time! There is no other priesthood but us!

And as priests, God’s priesthood needs to weep and howl for the apostate condition of the Church and even their own family members, but mostly for their own self!

OLD TESTAMENT PROPHECIES ARE FOR US!

And don’t think that those Old Testament rebukes are not in the New Testament! Listen to the New Testament… “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God….Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.” James 4:4-6, 8-10

.

This above passage from James is every bit as fiery as any Old Testament command!

.

And we should not think this command from James is for a mere one-day sorrow and tears! No, until we are all completely cleansed from every single sin which that book of James lays to our charge, then we need to keep weeping and begging and pleading for God’s mercy and cleansing!

“GOOD NEWS FROM A FAR COUNTRY!”

Proverbs 25:25

But the Good News is, that our failures are God’s opportunities! And God can turn our failures into far greater blessings than had we not fallen at all!

.

And so, let’s turn off all hedonistic entertainment of this Neo-Sodomic society and begin to fulfill the Book of Joel’s admonition to spiritually fall down and to literally weep and howl and beg and plead for God to return with a blessing for the Church-Elect, and for our family!

.

**And let’s continue to do so, until we see our children rise up and take the-mantle-of-that-double-portion-of-God’s-indwelling-Spirit, and begin to walk, even as Jesus walked!**

This Woman of Revelation 12 is definitely fleeing to the mountains . As you can see in this sketch below, The Dragon of Revelation 12 is spewing out his water of falsehoods: false gospels, false ideologies, various temptations, false brethren who will embrace her with the poisonous wine of the The Great Harlot of Babylon. These are what comprise this wave of water coming forth from the Dragon’s mouth. (see “Flood Waters of Satan”)

Okay, so in the last two devotionals, it was hopefully seen that Habakkuk’s prophecy is for the Church, God’s Elect, both Jews and Gentiles alike!

.

And since the Bible is a spiritual book, these prophecies must be “spiritually discerned”, “comparing spiritual things with spiritual”, “line upon line, here a little, and there a little”! (see 1st Corinthians 2:12-14 & Isaiah 28:9-12)

.

And so, Habakkuk speaks of spiritual ideas, spread upon a canvas of earthly types and shadows. Yes, God’s people are to flee from Satan’s armies! But we just can’t pack up and flee to the literal mountains!

Well, as we look around, it is not hard to discern that the towers of man’s institutions are now falling, as Isaiah 30:25 foretells! And not just the Twin Towers in New York City!

Everything around the world is going topsy-turvy, and all this leaves us bewildered as to just what is happening!

And if all that is not a fulfillment of the “towers falling”, just look at the churches and denominations! They are crumbling faster than society! Sexual deviants, spiritualists, ear-tickling-new-age “Christian” gurus, money grubbing carpetbaggers are taking over, it seems!

Even the conservative churches are greatly concerned with earthly prosperity and hedonistic pleasure-seeking!

HOW AND WHERE ARE WE TO FLEE?

And so, just how are we to flee unto Heavenly Sion? How are we and our children to escape the Sodom and Gomorrah, which just now springing up all around us?

But how are we to flee?

HIDE YOURSELF…FOR A LITTLE MOMENT

So, this above passage reveals a little more about just how we are to escape all these things! We are to go into our chambers and hide as it were for a little moment. But what chambers? And how are we to hide?

Listen again… “Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought His judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.” Zephaniah 2:3.

.

Okay, so this above verse reveals that it is by seeking after meekness and righteousness, that the Lord might hide us in the Great Day of His Wrath!
