The Sign Of The Son Of Man In Heaven,

“The world cannot hate you;

but Me it hateth,

because I testify of it,

that the works thereof are evil.”

Encircling this entire globe is a great sign in Heaven! Without a doubt, the greatest of all signs! (This picture is the straightened-out version, while this massive constellation actually curves completely around the globe!)

.

One reason why it is so great is because it is so vast, encompassing both the summer and winter skies! And it is comprised of most all the signs revealed on this website.

.

It is called, “The Sign of the Son of Man in Heaven Constellation”, even as it is revealed in Matthew 24:30…

.

“And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven:

.

and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn,

.

and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven

.

with power and great glory.”

.

Yes, here is the most remarkable of all signs in heaven!

GRAND MASTER LEVEL

But to really see this sign requires the stargazer to achieve a “grand-master status”, so to speak, in the Signs Of Heaven. (Well, perhaps that earthly title is not such an appropriate term.)

.

Nevertheless, to see this great constellation first requires one to become fully familiar with all the other signs revealed on these two websites (www.devouringfire.com and www.theheavensdeclare.net)

But once the reader does achieve (or rather, “receive”) a thorough familiarity with all these other signs, then that Reader can go out and see the granddaddy of all signs, “The Sign of the Son of Man in Heaven Constellation”! (There is, however one other great sign which has not yet been revealed, because of its complexity, called the “Holy Ghostly-Priest Constellation”)

But anyway, just what does this heavenly phenomenon have to do with today’s devotional?

Well, simply put, today’s article asks the question, “Why did the world (us) put Jesus on the Cross?”

.

Yes, we’re all responsible for putting Jesus on the Cross!

.

But why? Why did we do it?

.

Well, the ugly truth is, we did it out of pure hatred!

.

“THE WORKS THEREOF ARE EVIL”

.

But just why did we hate Jesus so much?

.

Listen to the words which Jesus spoke to His then unsaved brothers…“The world cannot hate you; but Me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.” John 7:7

.

Here we have it! We hated Jesus because He criticized our beloved world! After all, this world is not Jesus’ world. No, it was handed over to Lucifer, who now carries the title, “The Devil”, and “Satan”.

.

Yes, as it is written, “all that is in this world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life is not of the Father, but is of the world” and is of the Devil! (see 1st John 2:15-17)

A WORLD IN HOPELESS UNBELIEF

.

Now of course, we need to “cut a little slack”, as they say, for the people of this unbelieving world. After all, the people of this world are enshrouded in spiritual darkness and unbelief! They do not believe that there actually exists an alternative to their world. All their hope is in this world, even as miserable and hopeless as this lost world is! They have “no hope, and without God in the world”! (Ephesians 2:12)

.

And let’s face it! Many (or perhaps most) young people feel as if they “have this world by the tail”! Death seems so far off to them.

.

And because of their youthful, blissful cluelessness, they love this selfish world, and say within themselves, “Why should I give up all the many pleasures and ambitious pursuits that this world has to offer, for some far off, ‘pie in the sky’ fable? I’ll just worry about all that dying stuff much later, maybe in 50 or 60 years from now!”

.

Well, that’s pretty much how the world views all this, “Jesus stuff”!

“IF ANY MAN LOVE THE WORLD, THE LOVE OF THE FATHER IS NOT IN HIM”

1st John 2:15-17

.

And so, when Jesus showed up and condemned this fallen world, its rebellious citizens, in all their stubborn unbelief, didn’t want to hear all that criticism and negativity from Jesus!

.

And eventually, they (we) put Jesus on the cruel Cross of Calvary in hopes of forever silencing Him.

.

“A FRIEND OF THE WORLD IS THE ENEMY OF GOD”

James 4:4

But what about Christians? We now love Jesus, don’t we? Oh yes, when we were lost out there, back in the world, we hated Him.

.

But now we love Him!

.

Oh, do we really love Him?

.

Listen to God’s assessment of His very own professed people…“for with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.” Ezekiel 33:31

.

Here is revealed what God sees when examining our hearts: we profess to love Jesus, but in reality, we love the Devil.

TO LOVE THIS WORLD IS TO LOVE THE GOD OF THIS WORLD

.

“Now how could I ever be accused of loving the Devil? That’s a ridiculous idea! That’s a totally absurd notion! I love my Jesus!”

.

You see, what we really need to understand is that Satan is called, “the god of this world” (2nd Corinthians 4:4). And as such, he has filled this world with tokens of his selfish character.

.

In other words, this world is a reflection of Satan’s evil. Yes, all that is in world, our little daily morsels, our selfish entertainments, our proud, ambitious attainments, and our fleshly desires are not from God, but are of this, the Devil’s world!

.

And the very fact that we still pursue these selfish attributes, reveals just who our first love truly is!

.

“GOOD NEWS FROM A FAR COUNTRY”

.

Well, in spite of all this negativity, there is a bright rainbow of promise!

.

And that hope-filled promise is found in God’s willingness to transform us into His glorious image!

.

In other words, as Malachi 3:3 reveals…“And He (God) shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and He shall purify the sons of Levi (Christians), and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.”

.

Here we have the essence of God’s love for us: the reconciliation of His people back into His image, the Holy Image we discarded long ago in the garden.

.

And the essence of our love for Jesus is made manifest, as we patiently allow Him to complete this purification process in us even though it may often be quite painful!

.

“PURIFIETH HIMSELF, EVEN AS HE (JESUS) IS PURE”

.

Yes, if we are willing to allow Jesus to begin to purify our hearts, He will, day-by-day, purge out all the world-loving dross which dwells within our deceitful hearts, and magnify a brand new heart within us, even the very heart of Jesus!

.

And once this is accomplished, all of our love for this world and for the god of this selfish and evil world will be totally and forever eradicated from our heart! Then our hatred for Jesus will be transformed into pure, unpretentious love! Love for Jesus, and love for His people. And even a great unfeigned love for all those lost souls who are in desperate need of Christ’s Salvation!

STRETCHED FROM SKY TO SKY

.

In 2012, this constellation was revealed. It is comprised of all the other constellations on this website, as they appear in the night-sky. The only way to really see this constellation, is to become very totally familiar with this website. This is because this incredible constellation spans both the summer and winter skies. This constellation is actually in a semi-circle, as it appears in the night-sky. These pictures, however, show it as it would appear straightened out.

.

There is an old song which goes… “The love of God is greater far than tongue or pen can ever tell; It goes beyond the highest star, and reaches to the lowest Hell…

.

But the last verse of this song says… “Could we with ink the ocean fill, And were the skies of parchment made, were every stalk on earth a quill, And every man a scribe by trade; To write the love of God above, would drain the ocean dry; Nor could the scroll contain the whole, though stretched from sky to sky.” Now what makes all this so extremely interesting, is that this verse was found scribbled on the wall of a deceased “insane” person’s cell in a psychiatric sanitarium, upon removing his corpse.

.

And little did this “insane” man realize, that God had actually written His love and inscribed that love on the scroll (of the sky). And God had actually stretched that picture of love from sky to sky, just as the song-verse said.

.

And now God has revealed this heavenly portrait of the Son of Man, writhing in pain for a planet who cares very little for Him. (These constellations span both summer and winter sky, and this constellation in this picture to the right actually appears much more curved in the sky.)

.

And just like the Bible God has made these signs in such a way, that they are true enough for the Believers to believe; but doubtful enough for the scorners to scorn.   

.

“With the merciful Thou wilt show Thyself merciful; with an upright man Thou wilt show Thyself upright; With the pure Thou wilt show Thyself pure; and with the froward Thou wilt show Thyself froward. For Thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks. Psalm 18:25-27

THE URSA MAJOR ‘MOTION PICTURE’ IN THE HEAVENS

You see, in the spring, if you look to the north, the constellation commonly known as Ursa Major actually looks like a headless woman who is with child.

.

And yet, as summer turns to fall, and fall turns to winter, this constellation slowly rotates until it is upside-down, now appearing as a running woman with upraised arms.

.

But as winter progresses, this running woman slowly begins to lean forward until she appears to be flying: flying westward.

THE REVELATION 12 DRAGON

.

But what about this serpent or dragon spewing water as a flood after the woman. Well, that’s up there too, in the constellations Hyades (the dragon’s mouth), Auriga (the wave of water coming out of his mouth), Pleiades, (his tail tassel), and Cetus (his back leg and fin).

.

And so, here is a heavenly picture of Revelation 12, which develops through the entire year as the world rotates in such a way to make this phenomenon play itself out to display the Revelation 12 scenario!

But the focus of today’s devotional is all about this woman with wings as an eagle.

Here we have an explanation of both Revelation 12:14 as well as of this Revelation 12 Woman Constellation (aka Ursa Major) They, all three, are depicting God’s people as they mount up with wings as eagles!

Yes, just as God gave the children of Israel 30 days of their favorite flesh food until they became thoroughly sick of it, God is giving us our fill of our so-called “little” sins until the day comes that we absolutely want no more of those besetting sins.

“HE BROUGHT ME UP…OUT OF THE MIRY CLAY”

But the day is soon coming in which God will pluck us out of the miry pit, and set our feet upon a Rock, and put a new song in our mouth, even praise to our God! (See Psalm 40:3)

And on that day, it will seem as if we now have those much-anticipated wings as eagles!

And on that glorious day, we will wing our way into the narrow gate which will forever seal our victory over the sin, self, and Satan!

And so, O tried and sorely tempted one. Do not get disheartened over your present trials and sufferings. It’s only for a little while longer that we must allow God to purify us, even as silver and gold are tried and purified in the fire!

And then, when God can finally see His reflection in us, we will “come forth as gold!”

TO DIE IS GAIN!?!

.

“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour:

yet what I shall choose I wot not.

For I am in a strait betwixt two,

having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ;

which is far better:

Nevertheless to abide in the flesh

is more needful for you.”

Philippians 1:21-24

What kind of insanity is that statement, “to die is gain”? That can’t be a verse from the Bible! There has to be a mistake somewhere!

.

Actually, this is part of a confession made by the Apostle, Paul. Listen… “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21

.

The fact is, Paul had no qualms about dying. He says several times, that dying in Christ is far better than living in this ungodly world.

THE WORLD CANNOT ACCEPT PAUL’S STATEMENT

.

Now of course, such a statement as that (“For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain”), would be considered pure madness by the people of the world.

.

Well, after all, the Bible says concerning the lost multitudes, “having no hope, without God in the world”.

.

So understandably they could never accept such an idea like Paul’s, “To die is gain”.

.

But sadly, this concept has been greatly rejected by the Church as well. Most churchgoers would look at you like you were some sort of whacko for saying such a thing! (“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”)

.

PAUL’S GREAT WITNESS

.

Too bad! Such a life-philosophy which Paul had, would be a tremendous witness to this faithless world. Too bad there are not any Apostle-Paul-types these days! Well maybe there are a few out there.

But it seems as if we Christians are often so desperately trying to hold on to this life. 

.

NO PROMISED LAND?

.

But for those of us who are desperately trying to hold on to life in this world: do we really believe that there is a Heaven, in which there is no more pain nor sorrow, but love, peace, and everlasting joy?

Many Christians, by tenaciously holding onto life, give evidence that perhaps they don’t.

“THE LORD WILL TAKE ME UP!”

.

Can God take care of our children, after we’re gone? Of course He will! We don’t need to worry. God’s promises are true. Do we actually think that God would take us away, and merely leave our children to themselves?

.

History is filled with accounts of orphaned or abandoned children who grew up to eventually become great and notable men and women.

.

Listen… “When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.” Psalm 27:10. God is a very faithful God, much more than we can imagine!

HEZEKIAH: ANTITHESIS OF PAUL

.

“I am immortal until my work on earth is done.” – John Wesley

.

Now good old King Hezekiah was just the mirror-opposite of Paul. When he found out he had a terminal illness, Hezekiah wept before God, pleading for Him to heal his terminal illness. And God answered Hezekiah’s prayer. God gave him 15 years of additional time on earth (see Isaiah 38:5).

.

But because of that life-extension, Hezekiah later had a son, Manasseh, who would eventually become the worst and most evil king that Judah has ever had, completely undoing all the good that his father, Hezekiah, had accomplished. If only Hezekiah had trusted God enough to go, when it was his time. God knew all about the evil he would do. That is why God wished to take out Hezekiah.

.

This story reveals a very important principle about life and death. God knows about the evil to come. Nobody dies by accident. God knows that there are far worse things than death!

.

Listen to God’s proclamation… “The righteous perishes, and no man lays it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.” Isaiah 57:1

“LORD, INCREASE OUR FAITH”

Luke 17:15

.

Now the advice given in today’s devotional is not for everybody. But it is an encouragement only for those who are strong enough in faith, to allow God to decide when it is time to be taken by God.

.

But for those of us, who are just too weak in faith to accept these things, there is hope (and we all are weak, to one degree or another, aren’t we?)

.

Faith is an ever-growing virtue. One can fan the flames of God’s Spirit, if one wishes to do so.

.

Anyone who desires to become great in faith, like Paul, or John, or Peter, can do so, if they wish.

.

PAUL RAN UP THE STEPS?

.

There is a historical account of Paul’s day of execution. As the story goes, Paul actually ran up the steps to where his executioner was waiting!

Now of course, this is merely outside information. But judging from the way that Paul conducted his life, it only makes sense that Paul would do such a thing, if for no other reason, as his last testimonial to the many onlookers who, no doubt came to watch his execution.

WOMAN ON THE ALTAR CONSTELLATION

.

This “Altar” Constellation is only seen in winter through spring, in mid-sky. It is to the south of the “Fleeing Woman Constellation” (AKA Ursa Major or The Big Dipper).

.

The “Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12” Constellation is in the northeastern sky in this sketch. You would be facing east and looking very high up almost to mid-sky to see this constellation group this way. The altar is farther south but still in the eastern sky. This altar is commonly known as “Leo Major“, with the smoke rising being “Leo Minor“.

.

A little farther down this page is the sketch of this same constellation in the latter part of winter, when you look at them facing westward. You will notice that what looked like Gospel seed being cast from her left hand and left foot (see “Woman of Revelation 12-The Fleeing Woman“ article for explanation of casting “Gospel Seed”) now appears like smoke or incense rising from the altar.

It is not clear why the altar is sideways in back of the Woman. It would make more sense if it were directly under the Woman. However, the Lord must have some spiritual truth to convey concerning this odd positioning of the Altar. The 7 Stars (Big Dipper) is easy to see with its very bright 7 stars. But the Revelation 12 Woman (Ursa Major) must be seen on a dark starry night, away from city lights.

THE ZODIAC CONSTELLATION NAMES

ANTICHRIST’S PROPHETIC 42 MONTH REIGN OF TERROR

And so began a long 1,260-year tribulation (Forty-Two prophetic-months) against God’s people by the apostate churches of Europe. This Hell-inspired Church-State power was the fulfillment of Revelation 13 Beast which was to rise up from the sea (sea of nations).

As early as the fourth Century, Bible truth in the churches became greatly compromised, being replaced by quasi-biblical and non-biblical church doctrines.

At first, many Christians simply kept quiet about their love for the Bible. But through those early centuries, things got so bad for Bible-believing Christians, that they eventually had to “flee to the mountains” in the European Alps, and begin life anew in the safety of those mountain strongholds.

REFORMATION BEGINS

And then, after several centuries began the great Christian Reformation, God raising up men, like Wycliffe, Huss, Jerome and others, who would fearlessly stand up to the priests and prelates of the apostate Church.

Of course, Satan likewise began his attacks against the Reformation, and this went on for centuries. At various times there was peace. But after some time, blood once again was spilled. The Bible was a much-hated book by the apostate churches, and copies were burned, and that Book of books was outlawed.

GOD’S GREAT SWORD, THE BIBLE

Blood flowed through the streets at various times during Satan’s tyrannical rule over Europe. But finally the time came for Satan’s Beast power to receive a deadly wound by a sword. “In that day the LORD with His sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and He shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.” Isaiah 27:1.

That sword was the Bible, the “sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God” Ephesians 6:17. And along with the invention of Gutenberg’s press, the Old World was eventually flooded with Bibles, and the masses could now read the truth which those apostate churches had so greatly attempted to obliterate for so many centuries.

AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL

But now a bold new land was discovered! And this sought-after haven from oppression, across the ocean, was rich with natural resources and raw beauty. Thousands of Europeans fled to the New World, seeking refuge and opportunity from the depleted and battle-worn European countryside.

And God blessed America, giving it a constitution with checks & balances: a nation dedicated to the ideals of economic, political and most importantly, religious freedom. Yes, America had a constitution and organization with biblical root and foundation.

THE DEVIL WAS WAITING FOR THEM

Unfortunately, the big problem to their idealism and hope in this new land was this: they thought that they would escape from tyranny by fleeing to this new wilderness. They didn’t take into account that there is an actual and literal and personal Devil, who (with his countless evil-angels), is at war against Heaven.

And though his modus-operandi in Europe was physical violence and economic, political, and religious oppression, he now had a brand-new strategy and an entirely new arsenal, which he was readying to launch against the world.

FROM SCARCITY TO EXCESS

“…give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Lest I be full, and deny Thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.” Proverbs 30:8, 9

This above passage from Proverbs 30:8, 9, lays down a very basic concept of life, namely this: that scarcity and want, tends to promote desperation, even sinful covetousness, while excess tends to promote self-satisfied complacency. The writer of this proverb realizes this concept, and prays to God for neither poverty nor for riches.

SOCIETY’S NEW INSTRUCTORS

And so, the enemy of Heaven wasted no time to begin to launch his new assault upon the world, and starting with this new land, he worked behind the scenes to flood this society with growing excess and decadence and declining morality.

And the Devil’s greatest weapon in his vast arsenal, has been, sad to say, these high-tech devices, such as television, and Internet. And though television was somewhat moral at first, yet it quickly devolved into a cesspool of vice and immorality, bringing down the morals of America, and the other industrialized nations.

FLOODS OF EVIL

.

And Satan also understands the dangers of poverty and riches! And now that he could no longer hold back the tides of change, Lucifer would simply flood the Christian nations with wealth and materialism (i.e., Mammon), in hopes of preoccupying the minds of men.

And while economic freedom is a wonderful freedom, such a freedom (like all freedoms), demands great personal responsibilities.

.

And so, Satan, knowing all these principles, determined that as long as the pendulum was going to swing the other way, this Master of Deception & Destruction would make sure it would swing much too far the other way!

OVERCHARGED WITH THE CARES AND PLEASURES OF LIFE

Now his goal was to keep society (and the Church) so busy with the cares and pleasures of life, that they would have little time or inclination for devotion to God’s Word.

While the first Beast kept people destitute, this second Beast would come in like a flood, bringing various types of cares and pleasures, to the point of wretched excess.

.

.

SO, WHAT’S THERE TO BE THANKFUL FOR?

.

Now before we completely sink into the valley of despair at all this bad news, let’s take a moment to be thankful for the freedoms we still enjoy. If there are any faithful ministries to support, we still have an abundance of finances to give to such faithful evangelists.

.

And we can be thankful, that we can still speak freely about the Gospel to those around us.

.

Yes, there are many freedoms we still have. And we need, to our best abilities, exercise such freedoms to God’s glory, before they are all taken away. “I must work the works of Him that sent Me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” John 9:4

LOCATING THE DRAGON

.

THE DRAGON of REVELATION 12 CONSTELLATION . The Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months. The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield. This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is the very same constellation that comprises the head of Taurus the Bull. In other words, Hyades is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull. And Hyades is the mouth of this Dragon.

The tip of the Dragon’s tail is composed of that star-cluster known as The Pleiades. The Pleiades is actually in the shape of a lion’s furry tassel tip of his tail. The sketch below shows this Pleiades as the tail tip.

Now with aid of a dark starry night, you may begin to connect this mouth and the tail with a very long body in an oval shape. The front and back legs are very well-defined with stars. The front legs are made partially of Taurus. The back legs and rear fin are made of the Cetus Constellation. But the long oval-shaped body has relatively few stars, but can been seen, howbeit with a dark starry night. The four stars of the front fins are made partially of Taurus. This Dragon constellation appears in the eastern horizon about mid-summer in the pre-dawn hours, spewing his flood-waters northward toward the Woman of Revelation 12 (Woman in Travail). The Wave of Water is primarily composed of the Constellation Auriga. The are two more less bright stars which are closest to the Dragon’s mouth. These two dimmer stars are also part of this Wave of Water.

So when a cashier is rude, do you respond back with anger or rudeness?

Do you get angry when you have to put out more effort than the others, on that job, on that committee, or at that potluck, or at that fund-raiser?

Do you insist that everything always be equal?

.

When your spouse acts selfishly, do you insist on responding in like-manner, instead of behaving like loving Jesus?

.

When somebody yells at you, do you yell back, just to even-up the situation?

BEAST-LIKE BEHAVIOR

.

Well, such behavior we’d expect from members of the animal kingdom, and even from the unsaved humans, but not from those who claim to be followers of loving Jesus!

.

And so, if these kinds of retaliatory behaviors are your standard operating procedure, then you, dear soul, just might be what is known as a “Tip-For-Tat” Christian. And truth be told, a Tip-For-Tat Christian is not really a Christian at all! He (or she) just thinks he is!

.

Yes, a Tip-for-Tat Christian doesn’t allow others to walk over them. Rather, their mantra is, “I’m not gonna be used like some Christian doormat by others!”

.

“FORGIVE US OUR DEBTS, AS WE FORGIVE OUR DEBTORS”

Matthew 6:12

.

There is a parable about a king who forgave a very large debt owed by his servant. But that servant went out and found another fellow-servant who owed him just a small debt. And the servant who had been forgiven by the king, refused to forgive his fellow-servant for his small debt, but choked him and cast him into prison till he repaid that entire debt in full! 

.

Now when the king heard about this great wrong, he said to the servant, “Shouldn’t you also have had compassion on thy fellow-servant, even as I had pity on thee? And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. (And Jesus says,) ‘So likewise shall My heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.'” Matthew 18:33-35

.

Now this parable has great significance for today’s devotional! After all, Christ has paid the ultimate price for our soul’s Salvation.

.

But when we ourselves demand everything to be fair and equal from others, are we not behaving like that wicked servant, who refused to forgive a small debt from his fellow-servant? 

.

.

“FREELY YE HAVE RECEIVED, FREELY GIVE!”

Matthew 10:8

.

Now of course, when Jesus walked the earth, He not only spoke of these things, but His every deed and transaction was an example of how we likewise should behave, if we are truly His followers and disciples.

.

Listen to Isaiah… “He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth: He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth.” Isaiah 53:7

.

Yes, Christ didn’t mind being used. He gladly endured such unequal treatment. For it was these kinds of godly qualities which set Him apart from the world.

.

Oh yes, this is a “Tip-For-Tat” world! Why do you think there are so many wars? Why do you think there are so many murders, and divorces, and beatings? Yes, this is a, “You hit me, and I’ll hit you back” world, in which we live!

“STRANGERS & PILGRIMS”

.

But Christ has come to call us out of the world. He has called us to come and follow Him. Listen to His admonition… “But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for He is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.” Luke 6;35.

.

You see, this godly kind of behavior is foreign to the people of this, the Devil’s world. This kind of Christ-like response to persecution is how Christians show Christ’s love to this “I-demand-my-fair-share” world, in which we live.

.

Listen again… “But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.” Matt. 5:39-42

ENTRY-LEVEL CHRISTIANITY

.

Now the concept presented today is not some advanced theorem, vaguely embedded in the Bible. This is basic, entry-level, Christianity 101. This is one of the most elementary doctrines in the Bible! The four Gospels repeat this truth enough, and with such clarity, that nobody can accidentally overlook!

.

And yet, there are very many, perhaps most, who have attended church for decades, and yet have never put this concept of “freely giving”, into practice! 

.

But make no mistake! Just as the Parable of the Unforgiving Servant warns us, those who do not forgive the debts of others, will be dealt with by God! 

.

The following is an excerpt from the Signs Of Heaven article… “Moon Into Blood Trilogy: 1st Face: The Night Watchman”

THE MAN IN THE MOON (Turn the Other Cheek)

.

You will notice a big bruise on this “Man in the Moon”. His right cheek looks like it has a big bruise on it. That reminds us of the following verse… “But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy RIGHT CHEEK, turn to him the other also.” Matthew 5:39.

.

And just as this verse says ” turn to him the other also”, so too, our nocturnal friend likewise is turning his other cheek. This is a big statement that God is making about how important is this Bible principle of “turning the other cheek”.

.

“FAITHFUL ARE THE WOUNDS OF A FRIEND”

Proverbs 27:6

.

Notice that this “Man in the Moon” is turning his other cheek towards us? This faithful Watchman knows that unless he allows God to chasten him, that he too would likely be taken away in sin. And so, he offers his other cheek to his “Re-provers”… “Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.” Psalm 141:5. (see also Proverbs 27:6 & 9:8 & Eccl. 7:5)

.

In reality, it is God who is smiting the Watchman on the right cheek. In reality God is just using the people of the world to do His bidding. Both good people and bad people alike, God uses to test and chasten this Nocturnal Watchman to teach him patience, forgiveness, and love.

“HE GIVES HIS CHEEK TO HIM THAT SMITES HIM”

Lamentations 3:30, 31

.

God uses anyone and everyone as “helpers” in the purification process of His Watchmen. And the desire of every watchman of God is to become like Jesus. So as this Watchman beholds, in his mind’s eye, his Lord Jesus being mocked ridiculed and his face smitten, the Watchman too, knows he must likewise endure the same treatment from the world… “…they have smitten me upon the cheek reproachfully; they have gathered themselves together against me. God has delivered me to the ungodly, and turned me over into the hands of the wicked… when He (God) has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job 16:10, 11 & 23: 10.

.

In these passages, Job is complaining about his suffering at the hands of the wicked. But Job knows that if he endures to the end, he will come forth as gold. In other words, Job knows deep down, that God is testing Job. Job knows that God will ultimately turn all Job’s tribulation into something beneficial, yea, even beautiful for Job. God uses tribulation in order to remove the “dross” from Job, and Job will eventually come forth as purified gold… “when He (God) has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.”

“PUT ON THE ARMOR OF GOD”

“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God,

that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day,

and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth,

and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Above all, taking the shield of faith,

wherewith ye shall be able to quench

all the fiery darts of the wicked.

And take the helmet of salvation,

and the sword of the Spirit,

which is the word of God:”

In yesterday’s devotional (click here), it was discussed that world events are just now trumpeting the alarm, that God is bringing the world into that great and terrible day, The Day of the Lord, The Day of Reckoning!

So, having that understanding, just what can a person do about it?

The Bible says… “Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:13.

WHAT IS THE ARMOR OF GOD?

.

Just what is this Armor of God, and how does one put it on?

.

And how do I gird my loins with truth?

Or put on the breastplate of righteousness?

Or put on the shoes of the preparation of the Gospel of peace?

Or take up the shield of faith or the sword of the Spirit?

.

Just how can I do all this?

“GIRD UP THE LOINS OF YOUR MIND”

.

Well, Peter exhorts all Believers to “Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind,” 1st Peter 1:13.

.

Oh, so girding up the loins of my mind with truth, is what God was actually saying. And of course, the Bible is truth.

.

Therefore, I must gird up the loins of my mind with the truth of God’s Word, the Bible.

THE BIBLE: THE KEY TO ARMORING UP

.

As a matter of fact, all the different aspects of this spiritual armor are related to the Christian soldier gaining a thorough knowledge of God’s Word, the Bible.

.

The “breastplate of righteousness”, the “belt of truth”, the “helmet of Salvation”, the “sword of the Spirit” and the “shield of faith”.

.

All of this various protective gear is strengthened by knowledge: the wisdom & knowledge that can only come through hiding God’s Word in the heart.

“THY WORD HAVE I HID IN MY HEART”

Psalm 119:11

.

Listen to the “wise man”… “Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increases strength. For by wise counsel you shalt make your war: and in multitude of counselors there is safety.” Proverbs 24:4-6

.

Yes, as this above passage states, “For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counselors there is safety.”

“THY TESTIMONIES ARE…MY COUNSELORS”

.

Now many erroneously believe that this verse is urging us to get advice from various people in the world. But the true “wise counselors” are actually found in the Bible.

.

Listen… “Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counselors.” Psalm 119:24.

.

Yes, this Bible verse reveals that there are no better wise counselors than the many precepts and stories found in the Bible. “Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counselors.” Psalm 119:24.

LOOSING THE BANDS OF ORION

.

God spoke several times of Orion, in Scripture. His question to Job was a very mystifying question, to say the least… “Canst thou…loose the bands of Orion?” Job 38:31. Such a strange question, indeed! How could a constellation have its bands loosed, much less, even have bands? Puzzling, puzzling!

But now, He is revealing this bright and beautiful constellation in a way that has never before been seen. God Himself is loosing Orion’s bands, as He is just now unraveling this age-old mystery. And we are beginning to understand that this most infamous of all constellations is nothing less than a remarkable metaphor concerning Jesus.

THE 5 OFFICES OF ORION

But like most of the other Signs which this website reveals, Orion too, has much more to say as he changes his position in the sky. And this Soldier in the Heavens puts on different garb, as he presents the five awesome aspects of his various offices. “TROUBLED ON EVERY SIDE…WE ARE PERPLEXED”

The deteriorating conditions all around us are perplexing to say the least! Many things just don’t seem to make sense anymore.

And truth-be-told, many people are afraid to admit that this old world looks as if it’s headed for a state of anarchy, or even complete annihilation!

“GOD HAS GIVEN THEM UP”

.

But for those who trust the Bible, there is an answer for, “Why all this growing confusion?” Yes, if one turns to the Epistle to the Romans, God addresses this issue right there in the very first chapter.

.

You see, after mentioning a hopeless condition of mankind, God says three times… “Wherefore God also GAVE THEM UP to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:,”, and also “For this cause God GAVE THEM UP unto vile affections:”, and also… “God GAVE THEM OVER to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; ” Romans 1:24, 26, 28 (for complete quote, click here).

So, what do these three verses have in common, beside the fact that they are all three found in the 1st chapter of the Letter to the Romans? They all say that “God gave them up”.

“IF THAT NATION…TURN FROM THEIR EVIL, I WILL REPENT OF THE EVIL THAT I THOUGHT TO DO UNTO THEM”

And one need not look far to see this principle of “God giving up on a nation”, being carried out in the great societies throughout history.

When sexual perversions and other types of immorality begin to prevail in a society, these abominations have been the harbinger of certain doom for that society.

.

Just look at Sodom, Babylon, Rome, Greece, and even the city of Pompeii, Italy. Edward Gibbon, author of the famous 1700’s historical masterpiece, “The Decline & Fall of the Roman Empire”, listed the 5 reasons he saw as main contributing factors for the deterioration and fall of the Roman Empire. NOT JUST A LOCAL SITUATION!

But even though we most definitely see this same debauchery gaining greater sway over our society, the extremely harrowing reality is that this immorality is a growing phenomenon in many nations on Earth!

So, what does that tell us? That God has given up on the nations?

.

Yes, this is definitely a wake-up call that God is withdrawing His divine protection from the nations.

.

Oh yes, God is still saving individuals. But it appears that we have reached the time of the end! It appears that we are entering into the climactic finale to this grand drama of the ages.

The signs of times are now sounding the clarion trumpet call: “Prepare to meet thy God”

Now when God gives a nation over to licentiousness, it spells certain doom for that nation, unless they repent.

But if God gives up ALL the nations of the world to wickedness and perverseness, then what is the logical conclusion?

The very Good News is that in times of trouble, the Lord provides a place of refuge.

Listen… “Come, My people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.” Isaiah 26:20, 21

Yes, it is our privilege to run to the Lord, and hide ourselves in His almighty arms!

Listen again, as God reveals more about our hiding place… “For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion: in the secret of His tabernacle shall He hide me; He shall set me up upon a Rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in His tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.” Psalm 27:5, 6

If we will only turn to the Lord with all our heart, and with singleness of mind, He may provide a “hiding place”, a, “place of refuge”, during the coming storm! (Isaiah 4:6)

VALLEY OF DECISION CONSTELLATION GROUP…

Look eastward in the early summer through fall. Find the Cassiopeia Constellation. Cassiopeia is the Mount of Blessing. In the sketch, it is the farthest mountain to the left. In the sky, it is the northern-most of these three mountains when facing eastward. It resembles a pyramid. Then find the next pyramid to its right (south). Then go a little further south to the next third pyramid. The third snow-cap is the Destroying Mountain Constellation. They appear in mid-summer in the eastern skies in pre-dawn hours. These are made of Cassiopeia (mount on left), and various stars from the Andromeda Constellation (valley) Pegasus (Mount of Cursing (middle mount) & Destroying Mount (right)), and Pisces (Broad Way to Hell). The galaxy which appears to be climbing the Mountain of Blessing is the Andromeda Galaxy.

Gog and Magog

.

A very popular radio Bible study series, ‘Through the Bible show’, attempted to interpret Ezekiel 38, and 39, regarding Gog and Magog. And while the Bible teacher, Vernon McGee usually does fairly good on salvational issues, for some reason, throws away all the proper hermeneutics when it comes to Bible prophecy!

.

Now it is not the intent of this devotional, to define just what Gog and Magog represents in Scripture. But it is simply to define what proper Bible study is.

HISTORY BOOKS

.

The first mistake this Bible teacher made, was to look into history books, to interpret the Bible. And he found a Bible theologian of yesteryear, who saw a connection with the Hebrew word for, “chief”, and the name, “Russia”

.

Listen… “Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the CHIEF prince of Meshech and Tubal,” Ezekiel 38:2

.

And so, he then translated this verse to say… “Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief (he interpreted chief as “RUSSIAN”) prince of Meshech and Tubal,” Ezekiel 38:2

.

SOUNDS LIKE?

Next, he found two cities in Russia whose names sounded somewhat similar to “Meshech and Tubal” Meshek sounds like Moscow, and Tubal sounds like Tobolsk

And then, he noted that the Bible spoke of this kingdom as being in the “North”. And he pointed out that Russia (and other countries too) is in the North above Israel.

So where is the error in the thinking of this popular Bible teacher? Just why is he guilty of bad Bible interpretation?

SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES!

.

To put it concisely, this Bible teacher had abandoned proper rules of interpretation, and simply attempted to interpret the Bible by use of maps, history books and newspapers!

.

And this common mistake has led to some gross errors over the decades, by many Bible teachers.

.

ALL SCRIPTURE PROFITABLE FOR DOCTRINE…

.

So just what are the proper rules of Bible interpretation?

.

The first rule is, that the Bible is its own interpreter! We don’t need to go outside of the Bible to try to interpret the Bible.

.

Listen… “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”  2nd Timothy 3:16, 17

.

And so, this passage from 2nd Timothy tells us where to look for doctrine, correction, and confirmation (reproof) of all supposed biblical ideas: The Bible! Not history books or newspapers!

BIBLE STUDY CAN BE TEDIOUS

.

Second, this next passage from Isaiah… “Whom shall He teach knowledge? and whom shall He make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little” Isaiah 28:9, 10

.

And so, here is the tedious work before us, if we want to explore the deep truths of the Bible. We must place, “precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:”

.

And this is no small work! Yes, it’s far easier and much more fun to merely look into the newspaper, while drinking our morning cup of coffee, and try to find something that connects with the Bible! But that’s not the way the Bible tells us to study!

NATURAL MAN DISCERNS NOT SPIRITUAL THINGS

.

And one very big reason that newspapers and history books are not the correct way to study prophecy is found in this next passage… “Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 2nd Corinthians 2:13, 14

.

So this passage reveals that we must compare spiritual things with spiritual. But those who rely on history books and newspapers are not comparing spiritual things with spiritual. They are comparing carnal things with carnal! In other words, many are not looking at the Bible in a spiritual way, but are looking at it as though it was some man-contrived book! They do not understand that the nations often mentioned in Bible prophecy represent spiritual concepts!

HISTORY BOOKS, NEWSPAPERS NOT NEEDED!

.

And then, to make matters worse, they try to use history books and newspapers to compare to these nations found in the Bible. And so, they are not comparing spiritual things together, but carnal things, turning the Bible into some sort of prognostication of mere world events.

.

For instance, take the passage concerning Gog, which says… “And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:” Ezekiel 38:15

.

Now to find out what this says about this nation from the North, we do not need to look any further than the Bible!

.

Listen… “Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the LORD, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, My servant, and will bring them against this land,” Jeremiah 25:9

.

So here is a passage from Jeremiah, in which he is prophesying to Jerusalem, of Nebuchadnezzar’s soon-coming attack and overthrow of Jerusalem. It was the King of Babylon who comes from the north to destroy God’s people! Not Russia!

GOG & MAGOG AS SAND OF THE SEA

.

And as far as Gog and Magog, listen to this prophecy from Revelation… “And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.” Revelation 20:7, 8

.

Now here the Bible defines Gog and Magog, in this way… “And (the Devil) shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.”

.

Now this cannot be speaking of Russia! And without getting too deep into defining Gog and Magog, we need to ask ourselves, “Just who does God speak about when He says… ‘the number of whom is as the sand of the sea?'”

.

Listen… “Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:” Romans 9:27

.

And so now, we begin to see that Gog and Magog just might be representing the apostate portion of God’s professed people, of whom Isaiah compares to the sand of the sea, for multitude. (Oh yes, God compares a few other things to the sand of the sea in number. So this prophecy concerning Gog and Magog needs some really serious Bible detective work to gain a full understanding.)

SATAN’S ‘MINISTERS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS’

.

Yes, Satan has filled so very many pulpits with his own so-called, “ministers of righteousness”. And these leaders will mislead God’s people, not only in improper Bible study, but also in going after the many idols which God’s people are now embracing, so often!

.

The Good News is that we are not required to be taught by others!

.

Listen again… “These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the Anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, AND YE NEED NOT THAT ANY MAN TEACH YOU: but as the same Anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him.”  1st John 2:26, 27

We have a promise here, that if we are in Christ, then we have the Anointing of God, which will teach us all truth! We do not have to be under the authority of earthly teachers, especially those who use history books and newspapers to define Bible prophecy!

NARROW GATE STARS LOCATION

.

This most amazing phenomenon is seen throughout the winter. Although it can be observed most of the winter, it is seen best when it is the western part of the sky, at winter’s end (The end of winter being the final scene of this heavenly Gospel story). Orion , the Dragon, and the Glorious White Horse are beginning to descend into the western horizon (sketch to right is Winter Constellations descending into western horizon. This can actually be seen as early as December, in the pre-dawn hours).

.

And at this point it is apparent that the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation is veering toward the two bright stars, known as Castor and Pollux (sketch to left). But the Wide Gate Stars are composed of the two brightest stars of the Auriga Constellation, known as the star, Capella, and the star, Menkalinan. The two stars, Castor and Pollux, make up the concept of the Orion’s Narrow Gate Stars.

.

This can even be observed into June in the western sky (for a short time just after dark). While a dark night is best for seeing the Woman Constellation, the 4 stars which comprise the Narrow Gate/Wide Gate Stars can be seen even under mediocre conditions. It begins with the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation (AKA Ursa Major) going towards these two doors.

The sketch to left shows, the two doors are each composed of two bright stars. The two bright stars that comprise the Narrow Gate are the two brightest stars of the Orion the Reaper’s sickle. The two stars that comprise the ‘Wide Gate’ Stars are the two brightest stars of the wave of water that comes out of the Dragon Constellation’s mouth (for explanation of “Wave of Water”, just click here). The stars that make up the ‘Narrow Gate’ are about half the width of the Wide Gate (see sketch below left).

TALE OF TWO WOMEN IN SCRIPTURE

.

Throughout Scripture there is a common thread found, beginning in Genesis, and running all the way through to Revelation.

.

It is the tale of two women: one good and one evil. One woman is a harlot and the other is a virtuous woman. 

.

And knowing that the Bible is filled with symbolism, many people are perplexed as to just who or what these two women represent.

PAUL FINALLY REVEALS WHAT THESE TWO WOMEN REPRESENT

.

The Bible makes it abundantly clear that women are quite often a symbol of the Church: an adulterous woman symbolizing the Church-Apostate. And a virtuous woman symbolizing the Church-Faithful. Paul makes the most incredible and bold comparison of Abraham’s wife Sarah and her handmaid, Hagar to the Old and New Covenants! 

.

Just listen carefully to this passage…“Which things (Sarah & Hagar) are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which genders to bondage, which is Hagar. For this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.” Galatians 4:24-26.

So these two women, representing the two divisions of Jerusalem, actually is a spiritual portrait concerning those who are still in bondage to sin, and those who are free in Christ: the Church-bound-in-sin & the Church-free.

CHURCH-FAITHFUL & CHURCH-UNFAITHFUL

And this is the great recurring theme in Scripture: two women, a virtuous woman and an adulterous, whorish woman. This above passage from Galatians really nails down a great concept, namely this: that Scripture presents literal historical events which God orchestrated, in order to present a spiritual concept.

.

Paul, of course, has correctly spiritualized the story of Abraham, Sarah and Hagar and their children as a picture of the Church, both the apostate portion and the True Worshippers of God.

WHICH JERUSALEM DO I BELONG TO?

.

Now just how does this relate to me, the individual, who claims to be a child of God? Well, obviously, I belong to either one of these two groups: either I am still in bondage and slavery to sin (upper picture), or I am born again into God’s heavenly city (lower picture). The “Parable of the Five Wise & the Five Foolish Virgins” is a picture of the two portions of God’s house.

.

Now if I find that I am still in bondage to sin, then I have to be honest enough to admit it, and begin to plead with God to bring me into a right relationship with Him.

.

And in the coming weeks will such means of deliverance be discussed in those soon-coming daily devotionals.

THE TWO WOMEN OF THE PLEIADES

.

Then Job answered and said…but how should man be just with God?…Which alone spreads out the heavens…Which makes Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south. Which does great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number…Can you bind the sweet influences of the Pleiades? Or loose the bands of Orion?” Job 9:2-10 & 38:31

The photo to the right is the Pleiades Cluster. Does it appear to you like an angel? Well, if it does, then you are encouraged to keep reading.

The above two verses concerning the Pleiades is what the Bible has to say about the Pleiades. The Pleiades represents concepts which span much of the Bible. This is partly because Pleiades is a constellation within a constellation. And this double-entendre constellation is perhaps the greatest truth regarding the Church, found in the Bible.

TWO CONSTELLATIONS IN PLEIADES

Just who are these two women? And how can this be, that nobody has ever seen the Pleiades as a constellation of a woman?

.

In the picture on the left, the Pleiades appears as the Harlot of Revelation 17. In the picture to the right, we also see this second depiction of The Pleiades as an angel, which symbolizes God’s people, walking the downward pathway to destruction. They must be called out of Babylon before it’s too late!
