Rollie-Pollie Bug Christians!

Are you a Rollie-Pollie Bug Christian?
.
Well are you?
.
Are you one of those Christians who respond to all the troubles which assail you, by simply curling up into a little ball, and hiding in God’s Secret Hiding Place?
.
Do you sometimes just pull your covers over you and hide yourself in God’s protective shell which He surrounds you with?
.
Do you just roll yourself up in a little ball and pray to Him? Do you just close out the world and listen to some quiet music, or maybe a Bible reading?
.
Well, if you are one of those types, then you are definitely a Rollie-Pollie Bug Christian! That’s for sure!
.
But that’s not necessarily a bad thing! You see, a “Rollie Pollie Bug” is one of those little garden bugs who wears a little coat of armor. And when threatened or attacked, this little bug simply curls up into a little ball, and surrounds itself with its coat of armor!

THOU ART MY HIDING PLACE!

And so, what does God say about Rollie-Pollie Bug Christians?
.
Well listen… “For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion: in the secret of His tabernacle shall He hide me; He shall set me up upon a rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in His tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD…Thou art my hiding place; Thou shalt preserve me from trouble; Thou shalt compass me about with songs of
deliverance. Selah.” Psalm 27:5, 6 & 32:7
.
Unfortunately there are many who are pressed down by so many duties that they cannot enjoy just curling up in God’s secret Hiding Place! They just don’t know what a strong shield their blanket becomes, as they pull them over themselves, and close themselves in with God! If only such strong and busy ones would realize just how weak they really are, then maybe they would finally understand the joy of simply hiding themselves in God’s Secret Hiding Place!

WHEN I’M WEAK, THEN I’M STRONG!
.
Well, we who are Rollie-Pollie Bug Christians need to curl up and pray for all those busy, busy multi-taskers, that they
too, might give up all that busy-ness and also learn to hide themselves in God’s Secret Hiding Place too!
.
Listen… “Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” 2nd Corinthians 12:10
.
Now here is a statement by the Apostle, Paul, the very one who is reputed to be the strongest of all Christians in the Bible! And yet, Paul knew how easy it is to begin to rely upon our own strength. But with all his many afflictions, he was reduced to weakness, causing him to cease from his own strength, and begin to depend upon the Lord!

BEING STRONG IN ANTICHRIST!
.
The people of the world do not understand that the only reason they seem to be strong, is that “the god of this world”, Lucifer, has empowered them to do his bidding! Yes, Satan is that… “prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:”
.
And so, the people of this world go on in their self-deception, ignoring what God’s Word has to say about their service and worship of “that great Dragon, Satan, which deceives the whole world!”
.
Listen to David…Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie…” Psalm 62:9

THE CHILDREN OF PRIDE
.
Listen to the Psalmist as he complains about unbelievers… “For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm. They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men. Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment. Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.” Psalm 73:3-7 .

Yes, the lost ones of this world seem strong, while God’s people are “plagued, and chastened every morning” Verse 14. But all this is merely a mirage: a deception which shall have its final culmination, with a great big turnabout!

DAY OF TURNABOUT!
.
Yes, this Psalm 73 goes on to tell of their final end… “…Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. Surely Thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. As a dream when one awakes; so, O Lord, when Thou awake, thou shalt despise their image.” Psalm 73:17-20.

Yes, the people of this world will finally discover their true condition! But only after it’s too late!

THE DAWNING OF THE DAY!
.
And so, dear child of weakness, just be content to know that your present condition is not your permanent condition. In just a little while, the Lord will come as the rising of the Sun. And His Word will fill your soul, as the light of morning! And at that time, you will rise up from your curled-up condition, and stand up in Christ’s strength. And no more will you be afflicted with all the sorrow and sickness which presently plagues God’s people!

TODAY’S FEATURED HEAVENLY SIGN

THE MOST HOLY PLACE
.
“LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?” Psalm 15:1
.

The above passage asks a very odd question: “…who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?” Psalm 15:1. Now why would God ask such a ridiculous question? After all, for most of the past 2,000 years, the temple lay in ruins. So how can a Christian abide in God’s tabernacle?
.
THE ARK
.
The Ark of the Covenant was the centerpiece of the tabernacle sanctuary, during the years of the wilderness wanderings of the children of Israel, prior to their entering into the Promised Land.
.
The Signs Of Heaven presents a constellation, seen in the summer skies, which represents the Ark of the Covenant. There is also a constellation which represents the Golden Altar in the winter skies, which likewise was in that same tabernacle. But just what is the relevance of all this?
.
PROPHECY RIGHTLY INTERPRETED, VERY RELEVANT
.

Well, let’s explore just how the Christian can fulfill all these Biblical concepts. Because God wrote the Bible in such a way, so that all these things can and will be very relevant to each and every Christian. But in order to fully understand these concepts, the Scripture must be rightly divided (correctly interpreted). But this article will attempt to lay the foundation of these wonderful and awesome concepts.

THE HOLY AND MOST HOLY PLACE
.
“And thou shalt put the Mercy Seat upon the Ark of the Testimony in the Most Holy Place.” Exodus 26:34
.
.
The Tabernacle in the wilderness was a picture of God. Just listen to Revelation… “And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.” Revelation 21:22.
.
So, instead of dwelling upon all the fine points of the earthly tabernacle, let it suffice to be said, this earthly tabernacle is merely a metaphor of God Himself. And the Most Holy Place is the heart of that temple, and upon the Ark, represents God’s throne, as is written…
.
“And David arose…to bring up from thence, the ark of God…the LORD of hosts that dwells between the cherubims.” 2nd Samuel 6:2.
.
So, if, as it states here, that God dwells “between the cherubims”, then this is speaking of the Mercy Seat over the Ark. But even though it speaks thus, we need to keep in mind that the temple itself, represents God Himself, as is written… “And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.” Rev. 21:22.

ARK SEEN IN HEAVEN
.
.
“And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.” Rev. 11:19
.
The above verse from Revelation, speaks of God’s Temple in Heaven being opened. But this great constellation, the Sagittarius Constellation is actually the constellation of the Ark of the Covenant. So these two events go hand in hand simultaneously. The Ark Constellation, as sketched into this Wikipedia star-chart, is a representation of the heavenly Ark, as God begins to open up the spiritual concepts of that true Ark to our minds.
