God originally created this world to be a beautiful home for Mankind.

Yet when we fell from grace, this world began to change in many ways.

.

Nature, to a certain extent, began to take on some changes. Many creatures and plants, etc., gradually took on different aspects, eventually becoming dangerous to other animals, and some even dangerous to people.

.

But in addition to giving nature the ability to become dangerous after the Fall of Man, God also designed nature to teach lessons about good and evil!

CUTTLEFISH: THE ULTIMATE IMPOSTORS!

.

One of the most amazing creatures ever created is the Cuttlefish! Actually, it is not a fish, but a type of mollusk, like a squid, or octopus.

.

The reason why this creature is so incredible, is that it can just glance at its environment and instantly change its body to imitate that environment! As a matter of fact, whatever the Cuttlefish passes over, it instantly begins to change into the same color and shape, of that undersea object!

.

And so, its enemies cannot detect the Cuttlefish! Or when it lays-in-wait for its victims, perhaps next to a sea-weed, its color, and spots, and shape automatically change to imitate that sea-weed! It can even instantly grow leaf-like appendages to imitate certain sea-weeds! This little creature is nothing short of amazing!

CUTTLEFISH: SYMBOL OF SATAN

Well, God has created this little predator to give us further insight into the inner working of the kingdom of Satan.

(As this little 26 second video below shows, the Cuttlefish has the ability to paralyze his potential victims, by using his hypnotizing strobe-light effect! Amazing!)

.

Certainly Satan and his unseen armies love to make themselves invisible! That way, they can work their misery and woe upon this unsuspecting world without its inhabitants becoming alarmed causing us to rebel against Satan’s kingdom, as we flee to God!

SATAN, THE GREAT CUTTLEFISH IMPOSTOR!

Like the cuttlefish, Satan has the ability to change form into whatever image he desires. Satan even comes as an angel of light, “Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness;” 2nd Corinthians 11:15

.

And this above verse alerts us to the danger of being deceived by today’s fallen churches.

“COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE”

But God is now calling His people out of Babylon. “Come out of her (Babylon, the Harlot Church) My people” is the cry now being trumpeted through the land! (see Revelation 18:4)

BUT MY CHURCH IS FAITHFUL!

.

But there are many who swear that their church is still under the blessing of God. They look around and see new baptisms, and hear testimonies from new converts. They hear their pastor preach from the Bible, and everyone looks so well-behaved. They even have a thriving Wednesday night Bible study… “How can my church possibly be considered Babylon, the harlot church? How can my church possibly be under the power of the Devil?”

.

The problem is, far too many do not remember that Satan and his ministers come as counterfeit ministers of righteousness! And the Bible says that Satan comes “with ALL power, signs and lying wonders” (2nd Thessalonians 2:9). In other words, many of today’s churches are so close to the real thing that they will, “deceive, if possible, even the elect” Matthew 24:24

.

ANOTHER SPIRIT HAS MOVED IN

.

Yes, Satan will come through false teachers and with signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect chosen people of God.

.

Oh no, Satan cannot deceive the elect to the point of damnation.

.

God has given enough truth so that the Elect will ultimately see the apostasy and come out from among them.

.

But he can and does deceive many true sheep into thinking that their own congregation is still under the blessing of God, when in truth, the Holy Spirit has moved out and another spirit has moved in, counterfeiting nearly every detail of the Gospel!

RUN CHRISTIAN, RUN!

.

But the very Good News is, that God has graciously left open the door of mercy!

.

And considering the lateness of the hour, we who value the opportunity to live forever, need to quicken our footsteps in attempt to forsake this selfish and deceitful world of many lusts, and flee to the munitions of Rocks and hide ourselves until the Indignation be overpast!

.

Yes, the Lord is now rising to shake terribly the earth. And all those who enter into the “hiding place” provided will only behold these calamities with their eyes!

CASTOR AND POLLUX & THE NARROW WAY…

.

“And after three months we departed in a ship of Alexandria, which had wintered in the isle, whose sign was Castor and Pollux.” Acts 28:11

.

Most theologians interpret this verse to be speaking of two pagan gods known as Castor and Pollux. Beyond that, they are puzzled as to what significance do these twin gods have. Some believe these gods to be the patrons of safe ocean travel. Certainly God would never want His people to board such a pagan ship!

.

But there is much significance to Castor and Pollux. No, not to those twin-gods. But there are two stars named Castor and Pollux. They are twin-stars, and not twin-gods. They are the two bright stars of the constellation commonly known as Gemini. But as “Signs Of Heaven” points out, these two stars also happen to be the two brightest stars on Orion’s sickle.

And these two stars are also known as The Narrow Gate Stars. And if you will explore this concept, you will see that Castor and Pollux possess great significance… 

.

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:13-14.

Castor and Pollux represent this Biblical concept of the Narrow Way.

Have you ever heard the expression, “Flattery will get you no-where”? Well, that may indeed be true with some people.

.

But perhaps this next common saying is more accurate, “Flattery will get you every-where!”

FLATTERY IN VARIOUS FORMS

.

Yes, by nature, we humans are quite susceptible to flattery in its various forms: sexual advances, manipulative complimenting, praising people, giving inordinate attention to another person, being “cutsie” or “coy”, pretentiousness, utilizing one’s charismatic personality, using jokes and jests, giving gifts, promising future advancement, etc…all in attempt to gain another person’s affection, loyalty, or trust.

.

Yes, flattery can come in various forms. And it is a very powerful means to win the hearts and favor of others.

ABSALOM’S FLATTERY

.

Absalom, the son of King David, knew well how to use flattery to gain the favor of others…“Absalom said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the land, that every man which hath any suit or cause might come unto me, and I would do him justice! And it was so, that when any man came nigh to him to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and took him, and kissed him. And on this manner did Absalom to all Israel that came to the king for judgment: so Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel.” 2nd Samuel 15:4-6

.

Now in addition to Absalom’s pretentious flattery and kissing the hands of all who came to him, it is also written of him… “But in all Israel there was none to be so much praised as Absalom for his beauty: from the sole of his foot even to the crown of his head there was no blemish in him.” 2nd Samuel 14:25

.

Now here we have been given the picture of a man who used his attractiveness and personality and pretentious “slobbering” affection to steal away the hearts of the citizens of Israel away from his father, King David.

Now this true account of David’s son’s rebellion is also a picture of Lucifer’s rebellion in Heaven.

Since David often represents Christ in Scripture, it is not hard to relate this story of how Lucifer stole the hearts of those angels who eventually fell from grace, as they transferred their allegiance from Jesus, to follow Lucifer.

But this kind of flattery has continued to be used by earth’s inhabitants to this very day. Don’t we see politicians doing the same thing? Don’t we see them kiss babies, and shake everyone’s hand, and attempt to schmooze their hearers in every possible way?

And of course, we also see church leaders do the same thing.

Oh, not every church leader. But many church leaders have the same mentality as a politician! Kissing, and hand-shaking, and schmoozing flattery, is quite often seen in various church leaders today.

TV & RADIO PERSONALITIES

.

Yes, down through the past decades, various TV and radio teachers and evangelists have been great flatterers! Many of these attempt to win the hearts of their viewers and hearers by means of their personality.

.

Telling jokes, using their folksy wit and charm, using their musical abilities, or behaving in an alluring, sensual manner, these erring men unwittingly use the same strategy that Absalom used, and even as Lucifer used when back in Heaven to win the affection of others!

.

“A FLATTERING MOUTH WORKS RUIN”

Proverbs 26:28

.

Listen to the Lord’s assessment of flattery, as He spoke through David… “They (the people of the world) speak vanity (empty words) every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak. The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:” Psalm 12:2, 3  

.

This above passage (and many other similar passages) reveals just how much God hates flattery! He who searches every heart sees the double-hearted deception and hidden motives of flatterers. And perhaps we might add the following words to that old expression, “Flattery will get you everywhere…but Heaven!” For this above verse from Psalms promises that all flattering tongues will be cut off!

JESUS DEFINITELY NOT A FLATTERER

.

As we read about the Lord Jesus, we behold a man who came with no flattering words, but spoke the truth plainly. Jesus never once used his personality to win the hearts of His hearers.

Listen to Isaiah… “He (Jesus) hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him.” Isaiah 53:2

.

Jesus did not come into this world with charming wit, or outward beauty. He was a plain-looking man and used His words sparingly with the sole desire to convict the hearts of His hearers with the plain, cutting truths.

HIS FOLLOWERS WILL IMITATE HIM

.

And those who become followers of Jesus will pay close attention to the conduct of Jesus’ earthly ministry, in hopes of presenting the very same behavior and example to the world.

Yes, as ambassadors for Christ, our great desire is to let the world see Jesus in us! And the true followers of Christ will be deathly afraid of using flattery in any of its forms, to win the hearts of our hearers.

FLATTERY IN FALLEN CHURCHES

.

Unfortunately, these kinds of earthly, sensual and devilish tactics are commonly used in today’s fallen churches. Sensual singers: jesters in the pulpits: “charmers”: prophets promising future earthly glory and financial prosperity: preaching only the softer and more appealing passages of the Bible: folksy witticisms: affirming the Salvation of unregenerate parishioners: putting on a pretentious air of personal holiness: praising secular persons and worldly institutions: approving various ungodly behaviors: promoting various secular pursuits and amusements to parishioners: and many similar types of flatteries.

And so, just what is the remedy for such behavior?

THE GOOD NEWS!

.

The very Good News is, that this is still the day of Salvation! Yes, the door of mercy and grace is still ajar! And considering the lateness of the hour, it is no time for delay. We must hurry along the upward pathway to the Celestial City of Heaven!

And those of us who have used some form of flattery in the past can put all such deceitful tactics in the trash heap where they belong!

.

And then, we can begin our exodus out of the fallen churches which practice such deceptions and take our stand with God’s faithful remnant.

.

And then, we can beg God to allow us to read of Christ and contemplate His holy and loving ways!

.

And our daily prayer should be that God might transform our hearts and conform our lives into the image of Christ.

But you see, God has mentioned various constellations in Scriptures: Orion, The Pleiades, Mazzaroth, etc.. But He also spoke in Revelation of “great signs” in the heavens: a woman with child, a dragon who swept a third of the stars, and Michael who fought against that dragon (see Revelation, Ch. 12).

The Bible also speaks of other signs in the heavens, and it is the purpose of Signs Of Heaven website, to introduce these wonderful signs and to reveal the many Bible passages which explain them. This above passage speaks of a pathway which leads to riches and treasures.

Yes, God is just now revealing the long-awaited signs, as it is written, “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;” Luke 21:25. And God is just now opening up a pathway to the stars: a figurative gate to Heaven itself!

Will a Man Rob God?

“Will a man rob God?

Yet ye have robbed Me.

But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee?

In tithes and offerings. 

Ye are cursed with a curse:

for ye have robbed Me,

even this whole nation.”

Malachi 3:8, 9

When Jesus hung on the Cross, there were two thieves crucified with Him, each for the crime of theft. Of course, as the Bible records, both men joined the throngs which mocked and derided the Savior.

.

Yes, those two thieves called down mocks and curses on the Savior, even as they hung there dying! Incredible! (One did finally repent, and was ultimately saved). 

.

ONE DISGRUNTLED RESTAURANT OWNER

But how are we to glean spiritual lessons which will help us to grow in grace and in the knowledge of Christ? Just how does this account of the two thieves apply to our lives?

. 

Well, perhaps the comment of one disgruntled restaurant owner will help us understand our own personal relationship with Christ, just a little bit better…

.

Said the frustrated restaurant owner…“My employees steal from me every day! Yes, my employees are time thieves! They like to clock-in early and clock-out late on the time clock. They like to take extra long breaks. And they goof off whenever they get a chance! I tell you, they’re time thieves!”

Malachi 3:8

Malachi says that we rob God in, “tithes and offerings”.

.

Well, robbing God in tithes and offerings is easy to understand in the area of finances! Yes, too many of us are extravagant with our money. We are big spenders! Instead of being careful, that we might give the most, we carelessly spend our money on the new, and on the fashionable, and on the fun and exciting, and on the decadent things of this hedonistic cornucopian super-society!

But sad to say, we rob God in other ways too!

“AWAKE…ARISE FROM THE DEAD!”

.

For instance, isn’t is true that we are time thieves? How often do we fritter away the hours of the day on vain endeavors? How often do we pursue things which have little meaning, when we could instead be using our time in devotion to the service of God?

.

The Apostle Paul addresses this issue…“Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:14-16

.

And so, each one of us needs to ask our self regarding this admonition from Paul… “Am I being wise concerning how I use my time each day, or am I behaving foolishly?”

“REDEEMING THE TIME”

.

Yes, these encouraging words from Paul, “redeeming the time” remind us of our own Redemption in Christ.

And God uses this word as an encouragement, “to redeem all the potentially lost minutes and hours of the day.”

Just what might be the various ways that I might redeem the time in everyday situations?

WAYS TO NOT ROB GOD…

.

For example, when waiting in a check-out line, take a little pocket Bible (or Internet device) and have it marked out in 365 daily readings, and read that particular day’s reading.

Or when commuting to work, listen to an audio Bible.

.

Or whenever having a spare moment, say a little prayer for daily needs.

.

Or instead of watching TV, redeem that time by sitting down with a good Bible and a concordance and look up various related verses on any particular topic.

.

Or instead of yukking it up with unbelievers on my break, spend that break-time reading my little pocket Bible’s daily reading.

.

Or instead of listening to endless radio talk shows, why not listen to an audio Bible or something similar?

.

Or instead of pursuing vain hobbies, take up a hobby that has some true meaning. Maybe engaging in prayer while hiking in nature. Or maybe visiting those who are in nursing homes. Or how about making “The Signs Of Heaven” my hobby?

.

ONE THIEF REPENTED

Now back to the account of the two thieves, one on Jesus’ right and the other on Jesus’ left. Well, as we all know, the one thief began to realize that Jesus was indeed the Savior! And he eventually asked Jesus for forgiveness for his life of thievery.

“And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with Me in Paradise.” Luke 23:43

.

Well, hopefully this man represents you and myself, that we too may repent of our thievery against Heaven. May each of us take to heart this lesson which God is giving us!

THE GLORIOUS 12-STAR CROWN

 

.

This page is concerned with the Glorious Crown (a.k.a. Corona Borealis Constellation), as is written… “And there appeared a great wonder (sign) in heaven; a woman…and upon her head a crown of twelve stars.” Revelation 12:1. 

.

This rather dim constellation follows behind that bright and beautiful star, Arcturus , as Arcturus leads a heavenly ambassage through the heavens each night in summer.  Every  glorious crown should be studded with precious jewels, and this one is no exception. Though these “jewels” are stars, they represent the precious jewels spoken of throughout Scripture, when speaking about God’s people. But this constellation is not nearly as high-profile as, say, the 7 Stars Constellation (a.k.a., The Big Dipper).  It is relatively dim, compared to those two bright constellations.

LOCATING THIS CROWN…

.

This constellation begins to appear in late December (just before dawn), but is best seen, mid-sky when this group of constellations can be seen when facing west. In March-April, very late in the pre-dawn hours, this Summer Constellation group begins to be seen when facing west, and continues to be seen in the west until fall. The Crown follows almost directly behind that great star, Arcturus, as you can see in the sketch.

Repeat: it is somewhat easier to study the 12 stars of this constellation when it is in western half of night-sky (when you have to see it as you face westward). So when these Summer Constellations are in the western half of the sky, simply follow the handle of the Big Dipper till you locate Arcturus. Then the Crown is following Arcturus. You will only see the wreath-like 7 stars plus 1 star (in middle) until you get away from all city lights. Then you can make out the other 5 stars, which makes it appear like a full crown.

COMBINATION OF BOTH CORONA BOREALIS & BOOTES

This constellation is a combination of both Corona Borealis plus several stars from the Bootes Constellation.

The stars, Alkalyroos-Bootis and the Delta-Bootis Star are both combined with the other stars from the Corona Borealis community, to make this 12-star (plus 13th star in middle).

CUTTLEFISH: THE GREAT IMPOSTOR!

.

One of the most amazing creatures ever created is the Cuttlefish! Actually, it is not a fish, but a type of mollusk, like a squid, or octopus.

.

The reason why this creature is so incredible, is that it can just glance at its environment and instantly change its body to imitate that environment! As a matter of fact, whatever the Cuttlefish passes over, it instantly begins to change into the same color and shape, of that undersea object!

.

And so, its enemies cannot detect the Cuttlefish! Or when it lays-in-wait for its victims, perhaps next to a sea-weed, its color, and spots, and shape automatically change to imitate that sea-weed! It can even instantly grow leaf-like appendages to imitate certain sea-weeds! This little creature is nothing short of amazing!

CUTTLEFISH: SYMBOL OF SATAN

Well, God has created this little predator to give us further insight into the inner working of the kingdom of Satan.

(As this little 26 second video below shows, the Cuttlefish has the ability to paralyze his potential victims, by using his hypnotizing strobe-light effect! Amazing!)

.

Certainly Satan and his unseen minions love to make themselves invisible! That way, they can work their misery and woe upon this unsuspecting world, without its inhabitants becoming alarmed causing us to rebel against Satan’s kingdom, as we flee to God!

NOT A PERFECT COUNTERFEIT

.

Even though the cuttlefish can almost miraculously morph itself to blend into its surroundings, it cannot exactly duplicate its surroundings. If one examines its disguise closely, there are tell-tale signs that it is an impostor!

.

And so it is with Satan, the great impostor! Yes, he can do a great job of counterfeiting the Holy Spirit. But upon close examination, there are tell-tale signs that something just is not right in the fallen church-world.

SOME OTHER SIGNS TO WATCH FOR

.

In the last four devotionals in this Cuttlefish series (click here to read), it was shown that although Satan, that great cuttlefish impostor, can closely imitate the workings of the Holy Spirit in the fallen churches, he cannot imitate exactly, nor does he even want to. After all, his whole purpose is to lead them astray into apostasy and sin.

And so, the last four Cuttlefish devotionals each focused on a particular area in which this great cuttlefish impostor can be detected.

.

This last devotional in this series will only make brief mention of some other ways that the Christian can affirm that the churches have truly been vacated by the Holy Spirit and that Satan, the Abomination of Desolation has moved in to fill the void.

DO-IT-YOURSELF SALVATION

.

One tell-tale sign of apostasy is the “do-it-yourself-salvation” which has greatly taken over the apostate church-world.

.

In this false gospel is the belief that the church-goer initiates his or her own salvation by completing some task, or good work. In other words, there are many who believe that Christ did 99% of the work of Salvation. And now, it is up to the human to complete that tiny little last 1%.

.

Maybe that good work is to become baptized, or to faithfully attend church each week, and pay tithes and take part in communion, or to light a candle, etc…

.

Or perhaps it is to say the Sinner’s Prayer or some similar confession, with great gusto, believing that will guarantee one’s Salvation.

WHO CHOSE WHO?

.

Or maybe it’s to choose Salvation. That is, many believe that by accepting Christ as Savior somehow secures one’s Salvation. Of course, this too is a “good work”, and can never be added to Christ’s finished work.

The only way to be saved is for God to choose us! It is by His grace and election. And our choosing to become a Christian is the result of God’s miraculous sacrifice on our behalf, and His first choosing us.

.

The Apostle Paul’s miraculous conversion was merely a portrait of how all Believers are chosen by God. He wasn’t even seeking Salvation! But God elected Paul by grace and grace alone!

.

DOCTRINE OF ETERNAL TORMENT

Another tell-tale sign of apostasy is when the church-world begins to embrace and approve of worldly institutions.

And while the individual Christian must use various worldly agencies at times, never are we to put our “stamp of approval” on these, as if they are godly, even bringing secular organizations to the pulpit, to tell of some secular program or event.

BRINGING IN “OTHER THINGS”

Another great sign of apostasy is when a congregation begins to bring in various elements of the world into worship.

Plays, social clubs, sports, amusements, ethnicity, cultural traditions, candle-lighting, bell-ringing, secular ideologies, and many similar non-biblical things.

ANTICHRIST MERELY WORLDLINESS

Well, these are just some of the tell-tale signs that the spirit of Antichrist has moved in to the church-world.

After all, the Bible tells us that the spirit of Antichrist is merely the spirit of this world.

It is not some maniacal spirit, at least not outwardly.

.

But the spirit of the world (Antichrist) will destroy the connection with Heaven, and lead to apostasy in the church-world.

END-TIME EXODUS NOW TAKING PLACE!

The Good News is that, “And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of [living] waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers [churches] fall.” Isaiah 30:25 (parenthetical remarks added by editor)

In other words, the Lord has provided a safe-haven for His people as they make their end-time exodus out of the Babylonish confusion which is the current condition of the church-world.

7 STARS IMITATE THE CROSS OF ORION

.

 This phenomenon begins in late October, in the pre-dawn hours. It then begins a little earlier each night, and lasts for several months, until they both appear to lie down once again.

.

This Wikipedia star-chart to the left, has this Orion Constellation sketched in. You must locate Orion, when it is mid-sky, between east and west. You’ll be facing southward most likely, unless you are far south. Try to imagine it as a Cross on a steep hill. The 3-star belt of Orion becomes the crest of the hill. The 3 very faint stars that make up Orion’s head become the very top of the Cross.

.

Next, locate the 7 Stars Constellation. This 7 Stars Constellation is seen by facing northward. It stands upright a little later in the night. Eventually, Orion will lay down and no longer be seen as an uplifted Cross! Beginning in November, the 7 Stars (AKA Big Dipper) can be seen as a Cross a little bit later in evening.

When you are comfortable in locating Orion & The 7 Stars Constellations, then show a friend. This can be a great witnessing tool!

THE CONSERVATIVE CUTTLEFISH DECEPTION

THE CURSE OF REVELATION 22:18, 19

Today, another sign will be spotlighted, which gives further evidence to the satanic delusion which has swept over the church-world like a giant tsunami.

This sign is warned against in Revelation 22:18…“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

Here is pronounced a curse upon anyone who adds or takes away from, “the Words of this prophecy”.

THE BIBLE ONLY? NOT REALLY!

Now of course, every conservative church swears allegiance to the Bible.

Yes, every conservative church claims to believe in, “the Bible and the Bible only!”

But the fact is, these conservative churches have added and have taken away from God’s Word.

And, so, they would be the first to say, “How in the world have we added to, and taken away from God’s Word?!”

UNBIBLICAL ‘PRE-TRIB RAPTURE’

For example, perhaps the most dangerous false doctrine being taught in the fallen churches today is the so-called, “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”!

.

This is the idea that the Church-Faithful will be “raptured” out of the world, PRIOR to the final judgment and tribulation coming on the whole world.

.

In other words, these false teachers insist on, not one return of Christ, but TWO separate returns of Jesus Christ!

.

Of course, there is nothing in the Bible that states this will occur. As a matter of fact, John 6 clearly states that the resurrection will occur on the “Last Day”…

.

RAISED ON THE LAST DAY!

.

Listen as Jesus reveals when the dead in Christ will be raised…“And this is the Father’s will which hath sent Me, that of all which he hath given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again AT THE LAST DAY. And this is the will of Him that sent Me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up AT THE LAST DAY.” John 6:39, 40

.

Four times in John 6, this statement is repeated. And so, the resurrection and the Rapture absolutely cannot occur 7 years prior to the Last Day!

SATAN WILL “DECEIVE IF POSSIBLE, EVEN THE ELECT!”

Matthew 24:24

.

But Satan does not want God’s people to ready themselves for the final tribulation, so he has convinced modern-day theologians that there will be this phantom event which theologians have coined the name, “The Rapture”, saying that there will be two separate returns of Jesus.

1ST THESSALONIANS REVEALS THE DECEPTION

.

Now, one tell-tale sign which exposes this deception is found in the very passage that they claim establishes this so-called “Rapture”…

.

Listen to what the proper name of Jesus’ Coming is…“For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto THE COMING OF THE LORD shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1st Thessalonians 4:15-17

.

Now this passage calls this event, “The Coming of the Lord”. But theologians reject this God-given name, and have concocted their own name, “The Rapture”, by the verb “caught up” in verse 17 of this very same passage and have changed it into a proper noun. But since the words, “caught up” doesn’t make such a nice name, one clever theologian (Satan) used a Latin word, “Ripere”, and morphed that word further, to “Rapture”.

REJECTING GOD’S NAME FOR MAN’S NAME

.

And so, in essence, the Christian community has rejected God’s given name used in 1st Thessalonians 4:15, “The Coming of the Lord”, and replaced it with “The Rapture”, thereby adding to, and taking away from God’s infallible World.

(Oh yes, they still use the name, “The Coming of the Lord”, correctly applying it to the last day Return of Christ. But in addition, they’ve added to Scripture by taking various verses concerning this totally biblical “Coming of the Lord” on the “Last Day”, and now claim these ‘Last Day’ verses, instead, actually apply to their unbiblical, so-called, “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”! In other words, they have robbed many verses which actually apply to the ‘Last Day’ event, so as to bolster their theologian-contrived, heretical church-doctrine, the so-called, non-biblical, “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”!)

This is just one example of how the modern-day churches have brought themselves under the curse of Revelation 22:18, 19.

REPEAT A LIE OFTEN ENOUGH & IT WILL BE ACCEPTED AS TRUTH

Now Satan repeats this false doctrine day and night over the airwaves, via television, radio, and Internet, calling down their own curses on anyone who challenges this false teaching first popularized by Cyrus I. Scofield in the early 1900’s (and John Darby in the 19th Century).

But the fact is, the entire Christian community is totally unprepared for the coming time of trouble, thinking that they will be “Raptured” out of the world, prior to this final tribulation!

So just think about it! Satan has successfully convinced the vast majority of Christians that they need not be prepared for the final conflict, since they will supposedly be Raptured out of the earth just prior to the soon-coming time of trouble! (And even if they miss this phantom “Rapture”, they still (supposedly) get a second chance during that 7-year period!)

Now we would have to say that this current unprepared condition of God’s people to be a tragically hopeless situation! But praise God that He is so merciful, and has kept open the door of mercy, so that His people might come out of all the Babylonish confusion, which is the current state of the church-world!

This above verse from Genesis is the command and warning from God to Lot: Lot being the nephew of faithful Abraham.

Yes, God was going to destroy Sodom and its surrounding cities! Because, Sodom had spurned God’s warnings, she had reached her day of the fierce judgment of Almighty God!

And Lot, along with his family, had unknowingly moved to that wicked city, merely for the sake of convenience and prosperity! But Lot came to despise the wickedness of city life!

But by now, Lot was stuck there! His family, no doubt, learned to love the pleasures and conveniences which that opulent city afforded them. And they grew insensitive to the prevailing wickedness of that city!

MINISTERS of MADNESS NOW RULE!

Yes, there is a madness that seems to have entered in to our society. Crazy laws that make no sense are now being enacted. Suicidal economic policies that have no rhyme or reason are squeezing the life-blood from once great societies! Atheists trying to destroy the divine moral code which God gave, to hold the societies together, even though these unbelievers instinctively understand that it will destroy our nation!

It seems as if the world is going crazy! And so, when God tells Jeremiah…“And they (the peoples of the world) shall drink, and be moved, and be mad”, it sure seems that this prophecy is now coming to pass!

Now of course, the skeptics will always try to convince us that these abominations have always been around…“Oh well, there’s always been wickedness in the world”, they confidently proclaim!

Yes, here is the command to hide ourselves from the impending judgments which are now already beginning to fall all around us!

RUN CHRISTIAN, RUN!!!

Yes, it is now the time for Christians to flee. Spiritual Jerusalem is now surrounded by armies. But the world is also surrounded by armies…both visible and invisible!

And while we cannot come completely out of the world, we can indeed, come a good way out, if we so-choose. We can turn off all the worldly chatter and cut off the worldly associations. We can put away our earthly pleasures and worthless treasures.

And instead of corrupting the sanctuary of our heart, we can fill our minds with the life-giving Word of Christ! We can sing scripture songs and listen to celestial choirs! Yes, we can turn our little corner of the world into a little corner of Heaven, if we want to!

A GREAT & MARVELOUS SIGN IN HEAVEN

So how does this brightest and most well-known constellation relate to the Book of Revelation? After all, the Book of Revelation seems to be closely intertwined with the stars of heaven. And Revelation Ch. 15 is just one of those places in which Revelation speaks of the Signs Of Heaven. “And I saw another sign in heaven…” Revelation 15:1.

God here, is dropping this great big clue on us, as to just what the signs in Heaven are all about… “And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.” Revelation 15:1.

This verse speaks of a “another sign in heaven, great and marvellous”. OK, so if this is “another” sign in heaven, then one would have to go back to Chapter 12 to find the other signs in heaven. CUTTLEFISH: THE GREAT IMPOSTOR!

One of the most amazing creatures ever created is the Cuttlefish! Actually, it is not a fish, but a type of mollusk, like a squid, or octopus.

The reason why this creature is so incredible, is that it can just glance at its environment and instantly change its body to imitate that environment! As a matter of fact, whatever the Cuttlefish passes over, it instantly begins to change into the same color and shape, of that undersea object!

Well, God has created this little predator to give us further insight into the inner working of the kingdom of Satan.

(As this little 26 second video below shows, the Cuttlefish has the ability to paralyze his potential victims, by using his hypnotizing strobe-light effect! Amazing!)

Certainly Satan and his unseen minions love to make themselves invisible! And isn’t it also true that Satan and his unseen armies, like the cuttlefish, can mesmerize their victims, us, with all the world’s glittering tinsel-like treasures and earthy pleasures? Of course they do! That way, they can work their misery and woe upon this unsuspecting world, without its inhabitants becoming alarmed causing us to rebel against Satan’s kingdom, as we flee to God!

BUT MY CHURCH IS FAITHFUL!

In September 13th’s devotional (click here), it was observed that there are many who swear that their church is still under the blessing of God.

.

They look around and see new baptisms, and hear enthusiastic testimonies from new converts. They listen each week to their pastor preaching from the Bible, and everyone looks so well-behaved.

.

They may even have a Wednesday night Bible study… “How can my church possibly be considered Babylon, the harlot church? How can my church possibly be under the power of the Devil?”

.

What they do not realize is that Satan, like the cuttlefish, can imitate the Holy Spirit so close that this great impostor will deceive, if possible, even the very Elect, chosen people of God!

CONSERVATIVE CONGREGATIONS MOST DECEPTIVE

.

Now, in September 13th’s devotional (click here), there was given several tell-tale signs of church-apostasy: the prosperity-driven gospel, the sensual dress-code, the sensual and earthy music, and the sensual and earthy preaching heard in today’s churches, are not just in the “far out” congregations.

.

No, even in the so-called conservative churches there are these same warning signs, howbeit in a far more subtle version.

A CLOSE COUNTERFEIT!

.

One of the difficulties in trying to discern the spirits is, that when sitting in church, most parishioners look very well-behaved and even holy! And as they bow their heads together and sing songs, and even close their eyes and wave their hands, such a sight is very convincing evidence that the Holy Spirit is still there!

.

The problem is, as our signature Bible passage explains, Satan now has the ability to come with “all power, signs and lying wonders, to deceive if possible, even the Elect!” And so, Satan has moved in and carried on church services that can appear almost as authentic as when the Holy Spirit was operating there!

SO HOW CAN I TELL THE DIFFERENCE?

.

So how can I know for sure that my little congregation has been vacated by the Spirit of God, and that the false holy spirit (the Abomination of Desolation) has replaced Him?

.

Well, as September 13’s devotional (click here) explained, there are certain tell-tale signs which will be evidenced, that should send up red flags that something isn’t right.

THE ABOMINATION of DESOLATION

.

Now the Bible warns us, “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:” Matthew 24:15, 16

.

Here is veiled allegorical language, which is really speaking of today’s churches. Here is the true New Testament Holy Place. And this passage is warning us that when we can observe that Satan and his false shepherds are ruling in the Holy Place, the local congregations, we are to flee to the holy mountains of God!

.

We must remember that the Bible is an allegorical and spiritual book. God has purposely written it in such a way that it must be spiritually discerned, to properly understand the Bible! And this warning in Matthew 24 is certainly no exception!

UNCONVERTED PARISHIONERS

.

Now perhaps, one of the greatest evidences that the churches have become apostate is, that the parishioners are still unconverted.

.

But when everyone is sitting so well behaved in church, it is impossible to discern such an apostasy in a conservative church.

.

But as the true worshipper continues to attend church, it will become more and more evident that the parishioners are not yet converted. Such things as gossiping and slandering will become evident. Perhaps the Believer will begin to perceive that the fellow church-members are inordinately focused on earthly pursuits, such as career-seeking, and amusement-addictions. In other words, the church-members seem absorbed in worldly pursuits more than in engaging in the purification of the heart and the transformation of the life into the image of Christ. Just listen to the conversations going on prior to the weekly potluck! You will most likely hear about jobs, vacations, family, friends, holidays, etc., when the discussions should be about the Bible and how we might become more Christlike.

WHEN ‘MY CHURCH’ BECOMES AN IDOL

.

If this is the case, then the Believer will begin to perceive that church-going has probably become an idol to those worldly-minded parishioners. In other words, because there is a genuine lack of true conversion, the parishioners idolize their church-attendance as a “good work” which supposedly secures their Salvation. And their weekly church attendance becomes a substitute for a true 24/7/365 communion with God. A social/fraternal club, with a thin outer veneer of religiosity.

.

To this class, God says…“Some trust in chariots (church-doctrines), and some in horses (churches): but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.” Psalm 20:7, 8

.

Each true Christian must learn to stand on his (or her) own two feet. Church-going can never substitute for unceasing prayer and 24/7/365 communion with God. And as this Psalm 20 allegorizes, those who trust in churches and church-doctrines will ultimately fall down and be destroyed.

THE HOLINESS OF THE EARLY CHURCH

.

As the true worshiper of God becomes more and more familiar with the Bible, he or she will become increasingly aware of the holiness and singleness-of-heart that those early churches were all about! And more and more will the Believer become painfully aware of the vast difference between the early Church and today’s end-time church-world.

.

And then, at some point, the true Believer will realize that he (or she) must also join the end-time Exodus out of Babylon, the apostate churches, and flee to the holy mountain of God.

BREAD of LIFE  & LIVING WATERS

But the Good News is that the Believer will find, “there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of [living] waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers (churches) fall.” Isaiah 30:25

Yes, though God’s faithful remnant must flee from the destruction of this Sodom-like world, nevertheless, God promises to each faithful refugee from this Babylonian/Sodomish world, that, “He shall dwell on high: his place of defense shall be the munitions of Rocks[of God’s Word]; (the) bread [of life] shall be given him; his {living] waters shall be sure!” Isaiah 33:16 (parenthetical comments by this website editor)

Just as Elijah was fed by ravens in the wilderness, so too, God’s remnant people in these last moments will be abundantly supplied with the heavenly bread of life and the waters of grace!

NO MORE EARTHLY SUPPORT!

Yes, in the coming days, God’s people will be pushed out of our worldly security. And as this occurs, we must more and more place our trust in Divine Providence.

And as our earthly support is fully removed, we will begin to walk totally by faith. 

.

Only then will the Church finally shine as the Sun for all the onlooking Universe to behold! 

.

CASTOR AND POLLUX & THE NARROW WAY…

.

“And after three months we departed in a ship of Alexandria, which had wintered in the isle, whose sign was Castor and Pollux.” Acts 28:11

.

Most theologians interpret this verse to be speaking of two pagan gods known as Castor and Pollux. Beyond that, they are puzzled as to what significance do these twin gods have. Some believe these gods to be the patrons of safe ocean travel. Certainly God would never want His people to board such a pagan ship!

.

But there is much significance to Castor and Pollux. No, not to those twin-gods. But there are two stars named Castor and Pollux. They are twin-stars, and not twin-gods. They are the two bright stars of the constellation commonly known as Gemini. But as “Signs Of Heaven” points out, these two stars also happen to be the two brightest stars on Orion’s sickle.

And these two stars are also known as The Narrow Gate Stars. And if you will explore this concept, you will see that Castor and Pollux possess great significance… 

.

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:13-14. Castor and Pollux represent this Biblical concept of the Narrow Way.

LOCATING THIS GROUP…

.

These stars appear more or less like this when they are in the western sky, just before they sink below the western horizon (please excuse the less-than 100% accurate sketch). At the top of the sketches in the center is the Big Dipper. But with other surrounding stars, the Big Dipper is known as Ursa Major or the Great Bear. But as this website points out, Ursa Major is actually the Revelation 12 Woman. (Ursa Major appears much larger in the sky than this sketch shows. Eternal Torment?

.

Part 12:

“Outer Darkness”

“And I say unto you,

That many shall come from the east and west,

and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob,

in the kingdom of Heaven.

But the children of the kingdom

shall be cast out into outer darkness:

there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Matthew 8:11, 12

There are many who read this above passage and assume it’s speaking of the church doctrine known as “Eternal Torment”.

.

They believe that outer darkness and weeping and gnashing of teeth is what all lost souls will be doing for all eternity.

.

But such misunderstanding of Scripture and ignorance of God’s character can be corrected by doing a more thorough investigation of the Bible.

.

SPIRITUAL DARKNESS, NOT HELL!

.

This phrase, “outer darkness” is found three times in scripture. One concerning the Centurion’s Servant (Matthew 8), the next in the Parable of the Invitation to the Wedding Feast (Matthew 22) and the third is found in the Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25). But in all three instances, the phrase, “there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth” is mentioned by Jesus.

.

But the outer darkness spoken of here is actually concerning the spiritual darkness that covers this unbelieving world. In other words, being cast out into outer darkness has to do with a churchgoer being cast out into spiritual darkness: that is, cast back into the world.

GNASHING OF TEETH

.

Now when we read of weeping and gnashing of teeth, we might misunderstand what “gnashing of teeth” means. Gnashing of teeth actually is when a person gnashes on his teeth in anger at another person. It’s like a growling or biting and grinding to show one’s anger at another.

.

We read concerning David… “But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together…With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.” Psalm 35:15, 16

.

EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW, EVERY TONGUE SHALL CONFESS

.

Of course, this could never ever be speaking of the state of eternal Hell. It is utterly absurd to imagine that the lost will be eternally cursing God in some netherworld den of torment. All such notions are borne of abject ignorance of how to properly interpret Scripture….

.

Listen… “For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” Romans 14:11

.

On Judgment Day, all humanity will confess that they were wrong, and will admit that God is true and righteous and good. This above verse makes that perfectly clear!

CHAMBER OF HORRORS?

.

Scripture must be properly interpreted by comparing Scripture with Scripture and spiritual things with spiritual.

.

Oh yes, God purposely put a few scriptures in the Bible, which, when taken out of context of the whole and entire Bible, might lead a careless Bible student to imagine that there is some netherworld chamber of torments.

.

HELL IS EVERLASTING SLEEP

.

But when searching the Bible carefully and prayerfully, quite a different picture of Hell begins to emerge…

.

For example, listen to Job…“Why died I not from the womb?…For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest, With kings and counsellors of the earth, which built desolate places for themselves; Or with princes that had gold, who filled their houses with silver: Or as an hidden untimely birth I had not been; as infants which never saw light. There the wicked cease from troubling; and there the weary be at rest. There the prisoners rest together; they hear not the voice of the oppressor. The small and great are there; and the servant is free from his master.” Job 3:11, 13-19

.

This above passage from Job gives us quite a different picture of death and Hell, wouldn’t you agree?

JESUS, THE LIGHT 

.

Listen to Jesus’ warning… “Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light.” John 12:35, 36

.

So here we see that Jesus was speaking of walking in the darkness as a spiritual condition right here on earth! And He warns us to walk in Heaven’s light before spiritual darkness overtakes us.

But just how do we walk in the light?

PARABLE OF THE WEDDING INVITATION

.

Well, perhaps we might find the answer to this question by examining just what could cause a church-goer to be cast out into outer darkness…

.

Listen…“And Jesus…spake unto them again by parables, and said, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son…But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise…But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city…And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment…Then said the king…cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 22:1-3, 5, 11-13

.

The problem with the invited guests was that they were more concerned about this world and all its pleasures and pursuits. And thus, they ignored the invitation.

1 DAY WITH JESUS, 6 DAYS WITH OTHER gODS

.

And so it is today! Churches are filled with parishioners each Sabbath.

.

But the Bible tells us that many of those are still lovers of the world. Oh yes, they attempt to worship God while there in church. But after the service they return to their pursuit of their weekday gods.

.

So in essence, it is a revolving door of one day of the week, attempting to worship Jesus, followed by six days of vigorously pursuing many modern-day gods: cars, boats, sports, amusements, houses, lands, careers, projects, excursions, clubs, TV, radio, high-tech devices, and all the other modern-day idols that are commonly revered in this modern-day cornucopian super-society.

CAST INTO OUTER DARKNESS

.

And so, this Parable of the Wedding Invitation ends with one person sitting in the wedding with no wedding garment. And when discovered, the king said… “Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 22:13

.

Yes, this man without a wedding garment symbolizes all those church members who worship God 1-day-per-week, while pursuing all their weekday gods the next 6 days! 

.

.

A DIFFERENT SPIRIT ENVELOPS

.

Oh no, these idolaters will not be literally thrown out. But in time, a spiritual mist of darkness will envelop them (see Acts 13:11 & 2nd Peter 2:11). And they will become filled with a different spirit, a worldly spirit.

.

And even though they might continue to attend church each week, they will nevertheless become worldly-minded. And the evidence of this is that they will become critical of people, symbolized by the phrase, “gnashing of teeth”. And there will be a spirit of criticism for many other things as well. 

.

WEEPING

.

But they will also weep, because they will have a dim cognizance that their lives have become void of a love for Bible study, contemplation, and ceaseless prayer.

.

Oh yes, they may pick up their Bibles for 15 minutes each morning. And yes, they may still pray at times.

.

But the love for these Christian duties just won’t be there any longer. And they know it. But their love for this world takes precedence over their love for Heaven, and for Heaven’s Jesus! 

.

REPENTANCE POSSIBLE!

.

But is there any hope for those who have been thrust out into outer darkness? Can such a person ever return to the Lord?

.

Well yes!

.

After all, this is still the day of Salvation! And as Acts 13:11 says…“and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season.” This man’s darkness was only for a season.

. 

And for all those who come to their spiritual senses once again, the door of mercy is still just barely open! And God may decide that this rejector of grace has suffered in outer darkness long enough! And then they will begin to bitterly weep and plead for restoration and redemption!

FOREVER FAITHFUL!

.

And there have been many who have returned to the light once again!

.

And once they do return to a restored relationship with God, these will never ever again want to slight the grace of God! They have finally learned their lesson!

.

And now they are ready to completely forsake this present world and once again begin that ever-ascending pathway to Heaven!

FOURTH SOLAR SYSTEM MEMBER

Counting the Sun as the 1st heavenly sphere, the Earth is the 4th heavenly sphere. If we extend our theory (and it’s just a theory) that God created our solar system to correspond to the commandments, then planet Earth would correspond to the 4th Commandment.       

.

And so, on the very planet that corresponds to the commandment that exalts the idea of “rest” and “peace”, there exists very little peace. And very little rest. Ironic, isn’t it?
