Revelation 18:2:

A Cage of Every Unclean & Hateful Bird!

“…I will give it unto you to possess it,

a land that floweth with milk and honey:

I am the LORD your God,

which have separated you from other people.

Ye shall therefore put difference

between clean beasts and unclean…

…which I have separated from you as unclean.

And ye shall be holy unto me:

for I the LORD am holy,

and have severed you from other people,

that ye should be mine.”

This above passage from Leviticus presents a hidden truth, which is only plainly revealed later on in the New Testament: that God uses clean and unclean beasts to represent the ungodly of the world.

“I WILL SPEAK TO THEM IN PARABLES”

Matthew 13:13

And so, let’s take a quick look at unclean animals for a moment and see what they represent. Because the Bible is a spiritual book.

.

And even though it is often written in terms of physical objects, it is actually using them to be symbols that concern the Gospel of our Salvation!

“COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM”

.

Listen to Paul’s counsel concerning friendship with unbelievers…“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?…Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you, ” 2nd Corinthians 6:14, 17 (to read this entire passage, click here…2nd Corinthians 6:14-18)

Here, the Lord makes the analogy between unbelievers and unclean animals. And the clear message here is to “Come out from among them, and be separate!”

“this people…go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land”

Deuteronomy 31:16

.

Unfortunately, God’s people have not taken this warning seriously. And quite the contrary, we have carelessly “rushed in where angels fear to tread”, as the old saying goes! Yes, we have foolishly formed friendships with unbelievers, both in the church, and out in the world.

.

And as a result, we have brought upon ourselves the following condemnation of God…“But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell. Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.” Numbers 33:55, 56

GOOD NEWS!

.

Well, in spite of our foolishness in ignoring God’s counsels, there is still some very Good News! Yes, God has graciously allowed us time to repent of this fatal error.

.

And He has given us the prescription for healing in the following New Testament Book of James…“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God…Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.” James 4:4, 8-10

.

Here is the very blunt, yet soul-saving remedy that James gives us, which will cure our disease of sin.

BEGGING & PLEADING WITH GOD

.

We have freely partaken of the unclean beasts of the earth, by our unbridled associations with this Antichrist world.

.

And only by begging and pleading like James counsels us to do, will we find our way back to our safe haven, under the shadow of God’s sheltering, protecting wings. (see Psalm 17:8)

Have you ever had your Miranda Rights read to you?

You know….“You have the right to remain silent. Whatever you say can and will be used against you in a court of law…”

.

Well, these rights are read to everyone who gets arrested, so that they understand just what their rights are, and the legal dangers of speaking to the police without their lawyers present.

.

And this earthly judicial act makes a wonderful analogy for a very important heavenly concept.

CHRISTIANS, THE ENEMIES OF SATAN

.

You see, we live in a world which is currently under the authority of evil powers, which long ago rebelled against Heaven.

.

And those who have been chosen out of this world are now the enemies of those evil spiritual forces.

.

And while it is the divine commission to evangelize as many new converts to Christianity as possible, it is the mission of all these evil forces to prevent that from happening!

.

SATAN LAYS SNARES FOR HEAVENWARD PILGRIMS

And so, when a person begins the upward Christian sojourn out of this world, it is always Satan’s objective to trip up that Christian in one way or another.

.

Oh yes, Satan’s great desire is to turn back that Christian altogether, so that he or she will return to pursuing the pleasures and ambitious attainments of this present world: a hellish detour sign, so to speak!

“GIVE NONE OCCASION TO THE ADVERSARY TO SPEAK REPROACHFULLY”

1st Timothy 5:14

But one of Satan’s collateral attacks is to try to destroy that Christian’s testimony before unbelievers and nominal church-brethren.

.

Thus, Satan will try to capitalize on a Christian’s ignorance of the Scriptures, setting up a pitfall for that Christian, based on his lack of discernment.

.

And most of the time, those pitfalls have to do with the mouth. Maybe Satan can get us to join in some ungodly conversation. Or maybe he can provoke us to anger, thus goading us into retaliating over some insulting remark made by another.

“FILLED WITH ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS…DEBATE”

But quite often, Satan will attempt to ensnare the true worshiper in some theological debate with other churchgoers.

.

Here is a great snare for Christians, which usually ends up in a heated exchange, resulting in hurt feelings, even anger.

“THAT SPIRIT THAT NOW WORKS IN THE CHILDREN OF DISOBEDIENCE”

Ephesians 2:2

What the Christian always needs to keep in mind is that the church-world is filled with unbelievers who are merely churchgoers, but not Spirit-filled Believers!

Most churchgoers are still under the influence of “another Spirit”. (see 2nd Corinthians 11:4)

.

**And so, it is totally futile to engage in debates over such theological questions, since they are indwelt by the “spirit of error”…**

“SPIRIT OF TRUTH & THE SPIRIT OF ERROR”

1st John 4:6

Listen to John’s account of the two spirits in the world…“They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.” 1st John 4:5, 6

**Here is seen that there is the Spirit of Truth, but also the spirit of error and does not hear the children of God.**

And so, just how do we suppose that the “Spirit of Truth” can get into a debate with the “spirit of error”?

“YOUR FATHER THE DEVIL”

Listen again, as Jesus speaks to the very people who claimed to be the children of God…“Why do ye not understand My speech? even because ye cannot hear My word. Ye are of your father the Devil,” John 8:43, 44

Here above, Jesus explains to God’s professed people that they were incapable of hearing the Word of Christ, simply because they were children of the Devil, and not the children of God.

“I WILL KEEP MY MOUTH WITH A BRIDLE”

Psalm 39:1

Now listen to David as he explains his policy of godly silence when in the presence of the wicked…“I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me. I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred.” Psalm 39:1, 2

.

It’s not that David was completely silent and never spoke in the company of unbelievers.

.

Rather, David understood that whatever he said would be later used against him.

.

And so, he was careful about what he said.

“TIME TO KEEP SILENT & A TIME TO SPEAK”

Ecclesiastes 3:7

.

Now listen to the Wise Man’s words regarding speaking and being silent.

.

Listen to Solomon’s wisdom…“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven…a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;” Ecclesiastes 3:1, 7

.

Yes, there is a time to keep silent and there is a time to speak.

“SET ON FIRE OF HELL!”

And speaking of the tongue, listen to this fiery passage from James… “And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of Hell.” James 3:6 (to read entire quote)

The unbridled tongue is “set on fire of Hell”.

SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM

.

But again, just how does one get control of the tongue?

.

Well, that is why God gave us the Bible, to help us to overcome. Yes, the answer to any and all problems of life is found by studying the Bible.

.

And it is those nagging sins which keep reoccurring that makes a Christian want to search for the solution.

.

“SWIFT TO HEAR, SLOW TO SPEAK”

So just one more really great verse, concerning the tongue…

“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:” James 1:19

This and many more verses warn Christians the importance of keeping silent. And we all need to heed these good warnings!

Otherwise, we might just end up becoming some foolhardy editor of some Christian website which, “tells it like it is”, and is constantly, “setting other people straight!”

The 3rd face of the Moon is a bit more difficult to locate, because it is mostly upside down. But this photo and this sketch are how this face would appear if it was turned right side up. (In the southern hemisphere, however, this is how the Moon would appear.)

The third face is the most difficult to see northern hemisphere, but once you do, it then becomes easy. This face is like a furry creature of the field. Maybe a rabbit. Maybe a squirrel. Perhaps a chipmunk. Probably a mouse. All “seekers”; all foragers or scavengers. And while this picture shows this little “beast of the field” right side up, this 3rd face is always pretty much in an upside down position. The other two faces appear right-side-up, and are easier to locate. This photo and this sketch are both turned around to help you see this 3rd face easily. LOCATING 3rd FACE AT BEGINNING OF NIGHT

But this sketch here to the right is how this 3rd face actually appears when the Full Moon is in the east, at the beginning of night, in the northern hemisphere. But all you can readily see is the 1st face.

What you must do to see the 3rd face is to tilt your head to the right, 90 degrees.

.

Do you see it? (You may find it easier if you just turn your screen on its left side, if you are using a laptop. But please don’t do anything to put your computer in jeopardy!)

The easiest time of the month to actually see this face is when the Full Moon is in the east, just after dark. It then can be seen by tilting your head 90 degrees to the right. But as night progresses, the Moon rotates clockwise, until this face is completely upside down, as the Moon works its way to the west.

Come Out of Her, My People!

THE “LITE” PHENOMENON

.

For those who follow political talk-shows, they are probably familiar with the expression, “Democrat-Lite”, when Conservatives are speaking of “liberal” senators and congressmen who belong to the Republican Party.

.

What this means is that these liberal Republican office-holders have commonly held ideals with Democrats, so much so, that they are actually just considered to be merely a more moderate version of a Democrat.

.

Of course, this also works the other way around!

.

And there are, perhaps, some “Republican Lite” Democrats, as well!

.

“LITE” FOODS & DRINKS

.

Well this expression is also used to describe certain dietary drinks and foods.

.

For instance there are soft drinks which have less sugar, such as Pepsi-Lite.

Or there are also diet foods with less calories which are often advertised as being, “lite”.

But just how does this current, “Lite” trend relate to Christianity?

.

CHRISTIANITY-LITE

.

Well, to put it concisely, there are many Christian groups that have tried to offer to the public, “Christianity-Lite”.

.

In other words, there has been a great emphasis during the last century and this century in effort to take away the more harsh and judgmental elements of the Bible and replace them with the light and fluffy, and even the little silly aspects of the world.

.

And this “Christianity-Lite” phenomenon has been going on for many years.

.

CHRISTIANITY-LITE MUSIC

.

One area of Christianity in which this “Lite” trend is seen, is in the Gospel music industry.

.

And this is made evident by the production of music which takes the sensual music of the world, and adds the more amiable Christian sentiments to produce what someone may call, “Christian-Lite Music”. Maybe this kind of music has borrowed from the hand-clapping, knee-slapping genre of the world: fast and lite and with heavy rhythms and 3-part harmonies!

.

And even today’s slower music has been borrowed the soft viols (violins) from the world’s orchestras, adding syrupy-sweet “Christian” lyrics which portray God as a kindly old gent in the sky, incapable of even harming a little fly!

“LITE” PREACHING

.

Another area of this Christian-Lite trend is seen in the preaching in today’s pulpits and in radio and television ministries.

.

Lot’s of humor, and upbeat preaching of soft sermons, to the point of sounding more like summer-youth-camp-counselors than messengers from God!

.

The Bible foretells of the day when the churches will no longer tolerate the plain and often self-sacrificing words of God’s truth…“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears…” 2nd Timothy 4:3

.

WELL, WHAT’S WRONG WITH THAT!?

.

Now, many will object to this condemnation by saying, “Well, what’s wrong with happy music? And what’s wrong with making a sermon interesting? We don’t want some old sour-puss up there preaching some crusty old condemning sermon!”

.

And to be honest, this is a valid objection.

.

After all, the Enemy-of-Souls has injected many counterfeit preachers and parishioners into churches over the past decades who, being void of the Spirit, have made Christianity look like drab, and cold and pharisee-like-judgmental.

.

SATAN NEVER MISSES AN OPPORTUNITY

.

And Satan never misses an opportunity to make even true Christians appear to be sad, and cold and judgmental.

.

And so, this is one of Satan’s main strategies to turn as many people away from becoming Christians as possible.

.

Therefore, it is to his advantage to bring in all this “Christian-Lite” environment into the apostate churches.

.

And that way, it will make the true Gospel seem uninviting and stern and austere.

“SPEAK UNTO US SMOOTH THINGS!”

.

Now of course, this is nothing new.

.

Even back in Isaiah’s and Jeremiah’s day, the people were clamoring for a “Lite” version of their religion…“Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:” Isaiah 30:10

.

Yes, the Old Testament prophets were constantly encountering opposition from those didn’t like to hear anything negative or judgmental.

.

They wanted a smooth and comfortable religion.

.

“HARD SAYINGS” OF JESUS

.

And even Jesus was confronted by this same type of opposition from some of those who professed to be His followers…“Many therefore of His disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples murmured at it, He said unto them, Doth this offend you? From that time many of His disciples went back, and walked no more with Him.” John 6:60, 61, 66

.

Yes, when those professed followers understood that true Christianity required to become crucified in Christ they simply turned back and no more followed Jesus!

PAUL WAS “CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST”

.

But listen to Paul’s words, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:” Galatians 2:20

.

Both Paul and Jesus were warm, loving, and joyful.

.

But they were not like the world’s version of these qualities.

.

And that’s the crux of the problem addressed in today’s devotional.

REMOVING THE OFFENCE OF THE CROSS

.

Today’s Christianity to a great extent is trying hard to remove all the harsher aspects of the true Gospel, and replace it with the giddiness, silliness, and happy-faced comedic lightness that the world loves…

.

Listen to Paul…In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, Sound speech, that cannot be condemned;” Titus 2:7, 8

.

Upon reading the writings of Paul, there is a seriousness found throughout! There is no levity or lightness mingled into them!

LOVE AND SINCERITY…BUT NO JESTING!

.

And yet, there is a deep and sincere love woven into Paul’s epistles.

.

Yes, Paul was filled with the joy of the Lord, which is unlike the joy of the world! Paul was well-aware of the great solemnity of the Gospel. And he never mingled worldly frivolity into his words.

.

Neither did Jesus!

.

Neither did John, nor Peter, nor James!

.

Nor did any of the writers of the Bible. Rather, there is a holy solemnity found throughout the Bible, totally untainted by worldly, “foolish talk nor jesting…” (see Ephesians 5:4)

THE PROMISED LAND, A JOYFUL PLACE!

Have you ever wished that you might live to be a hundred years old?

Or maybe you wish you could live for hundreds of years like all those people who lived before the Great Flood of Noah’s day.

.

Well, that’s not so realistic, is it?

.

But, if you really took care of yourself, you just might make it to 90, or possibly even 100!

.

BETTER IS A MISCARRIAGE!

.

But listen to Solomon, who by the way, was the wisest mortal who ever lived…

“If a man beget an hundred children,

and live many years, so that the days of his years be many,

and his soul be not filled with good,

and also that he have no burial;

I say, that an untimely birth is better than he.”

Ecclesiastes 6:3

.

Well of course, the Bible is a spiritual Book, and so, spiritual things must be compared with spiritual.

And by comparing other related verses, this simply means that his soul be not filled with good (goodness of Christ), and also that he has no burial (buried with Christ).

In other words, God is saying here that without Salvation, a long life is meaningless!

Listen to Solomon’s father, David…“Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.” Psalm 49:20

Here we see that those who have great riches and honor in this world, and yet do not have understanding (of Christ’s Salvation), will simply go down to their grave one day, and exist no more!

How horrible! To merely cease to exist!

Why do so many people refuse the wonderful gift of everlasting life?

It makes no sense!

A GET-OUT-OF-HELL-FREE CARD!

And so, when we really think it through, it doesn’t matter whether you live to 100, or you die as a teenager.

**All that really mattered was, before you died, that you asked Jesus for a “Get out of Hell free” card!**

Because if you or I go to the Hell (the grave) without that little card, then it won’t matter how long you lived!

Because without everlasting life you will simply go into oblivion!

Your memory will perish!

And you will be forgotten…forever!

Your earthly existence will have no meaning nor importance!

And whatever good thing you think you did, or whatever contribution to humanity you think you made will finally get buried under the sands of time!

LET’S BEGIN OUR END-TIME EXODUS!

And so, let us begin this very day to ask God for Salvation!

Let’s renounce this hopeless and worthless world and seek, instead, after the only thing that has any real meaning: Salvation!

A BRAND-NEW WORLD IS COMING!

Listen…“For thou wilt not leave my soul in Hell;

neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Thou wilt show me the path of life:

in thy presence is fullness of joy;

That’s right! As this passage reveals, everlasting life will be filled with “pleasures for evermore!”

Oh no, not the sinful pleasures of this world!

But instead, we will live in that Promised Land flowing with milk and honey!

A land where nobody grows old and sick.

It is a land filled with beautiful trees and lush green valleys.

And you will walk through endless meadows,

and hear the songs and laughter of little children echoing against the everlasting hills.

And in the distance, you will hear the faint sounds of bells ringing in each new morning!

And the entire universe will be yours to explore, as you wing your flight to worlds unknown, to proclaim the Good News that, “God is love…and His mercy endures forever and ever!”

When the physical persecution against the Church ended after the Dark Ages in Europe, that did not end the persecution.

No, Satan merely changed his modus-operandi. Instead of coming after God’s people with the swords, spears, dungeons, torture devices, and the burning stake, Satan now began a totally different strategy to destroy the Church-Elect…

THE AGE OF MAMMON

It was now Satan’s chosen method to begin to come in like a flood to drown God’s people in “destruction and perdition” (see 1st Timothy 6:9).

Instead of the famine and scarcity of the Dark Ages, it was now Satan’s desire to flood those same nations with so much wealth and abundance that the church-world would be destroyed by their own decadence!

Worldly associations, materialism, greed, lust, amusements, and ambitious career-pursuits were among the various means by which Satan would now destroy God’s people.

FROM BURNING STAKES TO BURNING STEAKS!

In addition to all the myriad of excesses, the world now began to embrace God’s Elect people, thereby building a bridge between the Church and the world.

And so, instead of your neighbors coming to your house with swords and spears to take you away to be burned at the stake, they now came with meat-forks and spatulas to invite you over for a steak barbecue!

WHEN THE WICKED SURROUND THE RIGHTEOUS

But the Prophet, Habakkuk made the following observation…

“Therefore the law is slacked,

and judgment doth never go forth:

for the wicked doth compass about the righteous;

therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.”

.

As this verse reveals, by close contact and friendship with the world, God’s people begin to lose our spiritual sensibilities.

And bad judgment in the church-world begins to destroy the church-world.

Again, listen to James 4:4…“know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”

And God warns His people in 2nd Corinthians 6:14, 17…

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers:

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord,

Throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, God warns His people to evangelize the world, but not to join with them in their world-loving ways!

SATAN, THE GREAT BRIDGE-BUILDER!

But when the world made peace with the Church after the Dark Ages, Satan immediately began constructing that bridge between the Church and the world.

.

And gradually over the following centuries, the very nations which once enthusiastically embraced the Christian Reformation, began to become secular-minded.

.

THE GIANT GOSPEL MUSIC INDUSTRY

Now one of the great industries which came out of the industrial/technology revolution was the music and entertainment industry.

This incredible innovation became one of the economic giants of our modern-day world.

.

And when the Church also got on the bandwagon in producing Christian music in the Twentieth Century, it wasn’t long until worldliness crept into Christian music.

The Church and the world joined hands!

.

**And by the early 1960’s (and even in previous decades), various secular musicians began to unapologetically merge worldly music with Christian lyrics.**

.

**And once that Gospel train, “got rollin’ down the tracks”, everyone jumped on-board!**

.

REMOVE THE COMMON FROM THE SACRED

.

But God told Jeremiah…

“Therefore thus saith the LORD,

If thou return, then will I bring thee again,

and thou shalt stand before Me:

and if thou take forth the precious from the vile,

thou shalt be as My mouth:

let them return unto thee;

but return not thou unto them.”

Jeremiah 15:19

.

God is telling, yes, even warning Jeremiah not to return to the compromising ways of the apostate portion of God’s house.

There was no place in God’s kingdom for compromise with the world, back in Jeremiah’s day!

And there is no place for such worldly compromise today!

BUYING & SELLING DOVES

No longer was there resistance by the Church against this metamorphosis of Christian music.

.

And the profiteers moved in and began to rule over the Gospel Music Industry, churning out records and CD’s with “fame & fortune” and “selling as many recordings as possible” soon becoming the chief motivating factors!

A DEN OF THIEVES

But Jesus scolded the profiteers back in the days of His earthly ministry…

“And He (Jesus) went into the temple,

and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;

Saying unto them, ‘It is written, My house is the house of prayer:

but ye have made it a den of thieves.'”

Luke 19:45, 46

.

Now, this condemnation against God’s people of that day has a very eerie resemblance to what is going on in our day!

The buyers and the sellers are at it again, as now witnessed in the Gospel Music industry!

.

We are once again selling doves and sheep in the form of merchandising music and the many musical idols which perform this music before thousands in great halls!

.

LUCIFER, THE GREAT MASTER MUSICIAN!

.

Oh yes, there is a great deal of beautiful music emanating from today’s church-world.

.

But why should that surprise us? Was not Lucifer a great musician, whose beautiful swelling viols (violins) and harmonious pipes (vocals, organs) and clashing tabrets (percussion and cymbals) caused a third of the angels to rebel against Heaven’s authority?

.

And so, it should be no great accomplishment for Lucifer to continue to steal the hearts of God’s people via all the beautiful music resonating out from today’s church-world!

Satan knows well, how to make beautiful music!

THE CHURCH & THE GATES OF HELL

.

And by building this musical bridge between God’s people and the world, Satan has successfully brought down the Church to almost complete apostasy and utter ruin!

.

And yet, the Bible tells us that the gates of Hell will not prevail against the Church. (See Matthew 16:18)

“COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE!”

Yes, there is a faithful remnant whom God is now calling out of the apostate congregations and denominations…

“And I heard another voice from heaven,

saying, Come out of her, My people,

that ye be not partakers of her sins,

and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

Revelation 18:4

.

As this above passage reveals, God is now calling His faithful ones to come out of the decadent society which the apostate church-world has ultimately become!

This faithful remnant is the true Church!

And so, the gates of Hell will not prevail against that faithful remnant Church which makes her end-time exodus out of the harlot churches and denominations!

“FLEE TO THE MOUNTAINS!”

And so, it is time to come out of the midst of the “Jerusalem which is now, and is in bondage with her children”, the apostate churches, and flee to the high mountains of God, where our heavenly bread and our waters of grace will be abundantly provided!

LOCATING THE DRAGON

.

THE DRAGON of REVELATION 12 CONSTELLATION .

**The Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months.**

**The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield.**

**This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is the very same constellation that comprises the head of Taurus the Bull.**

In other words, Hyades is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull.

And Hyades is the mouth of this Dragon.

.

The tip of the Dragon’s tail is composed of that star-cluster known as The Pleiades.

The Pleiades is actually in the shape of a lion’s furry tassel tip of his tail.

The sketch below shows this Pleiades as the tail tip.

.

Now with aid of a dark starry night, you may begin to connect this mouth and the tail with a very long body in an oval shape.

The front and back legs are very well-defined with stars.

The front legs are made partially of Taurus.

**The back legs and rear fin are made of the Cetus Constellation.**

But the long oval-shaped body has relatively few stars, but can been seen, howbeit with a dark starry night.

The four stars of the front fins are made partially of Taurus.

This Dragon constellation appears in the eastern horizon about mid-summer in the pre-dawn hours, spewing his flood-waters northward toward the Woman of Revelation 12 (Woman in Travail).

The Wave of Water is primarily composed of the Constellation Auriga.

There are two more less bright stars which are closest to the Dragon’s mouth.

These two dimmer stars are also part of this Wave of Water.

whose mind is stayed on Thee:

because he trusteth in Thee.”

TWO PATHS TO CHOOSE FROM

.

Satan “the god of this world”, attempts to turn us away from our pursuit of Heaven, in hopes of detouring us back down to this present world, with all of its glittering tinsel-like treasures and vain, earthly pleasures!

.

And so, these are the two different pathways we must choose between.

.

SATAN COMPLICATES THINGS

.

Now this all seems so simple.

.

Just two paths to choose from!

.

However, the Devil has made it very difficult, by raising up counterfeit prosperity-driven gospels which present another counterfeit “jesus”, another counterfeit gospel, and another counterfeit “holy spirit”. (See 2nd Corinthians 11:4)

.

TO DECEIVE EVEN THE VERY ELECT!

And make no mistake!

.

Satan’s counterfeits often look so close to the real thing that the following verse is fulfilled in these last moments of time…

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets,

and shall show great signs and wonders;

insomuch that, if [it were] possible,

they shall deceive the very elect.”

Matthew 24:24

.

Yes, today’s counterfeits look so close, that there are even true Believers who attend these fallen churches!

CHRIST’S YOKE IS EASY!

But the fact is, such worldly-compromised gospels may promise to bring happiness, but eventually only lead to sorrow and spiritual bankruptcy.

.

In other words, only those who truly seek after the Lord with all their heart will find that, “rest unto your souls”! Matthew 11:28-30

.

And such a wholehearted dedication is a gift from Heaven above!

“THE DECEITFULNESS OF RICHES”

But those who imagine that they can seek and strive after the pleasures and attainments of this world, and have Heaven too, are only fooling themselves…

Jesus says…“No man can serve two masters:

for either he will hate the one,

and love the other;

or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.

Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”

Matthew 6:24

FORSAKING ALL: A REQUIREMENT FOR DISCIPLESHIP

And Jesus also says…“So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be My disciple.” Luke 14:33

From these two above verses it becomes clear that true peace, and joy, and contentment can only be found by forsaking the world’s vain pleasures and proud, ambitious attainments, and instead, fully devoting oneself to the pursuit of Heaven!

And so, let’s stop listening to that old salesman, who once sold a bogus-bill-of-goods to a certain naïve little lady back in a very lovely garden.

THE NARROW GATE STARS

This most amazing phenomenon is seen throughout the winter.

**And at this point it is apparent that the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation is veering toward the two bright stars, known as Castor and Pollux (sketch to below left).**

**But the Wide Gate Stars are composed of the two brightest stars of the Auriga Constellation, known as the star, Capella, and the star, Menkalinan.**

**The two stars, Castor and Pollux, make up the concept of the Orion’s Narrow Gate Stars.**

This can even be observed into June in the western sky (for a short time just after dark).

**While a dark night is best for seeing the Woman Constellation, the 4 stars which comprise the Narrow Gate/Wide Gate Stars can be seen even under mediocre conditions.**

It begins with the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation (AKA Ursa Major) going towards these two doors.

BABYLONISH HOLIDAYS

.

**In the December 26 devotional (click here), this pagan holiday called Christmas, was focused on, and what our proper response should be to this totally unbiblical holiday.**

.

Now in years past, God has winked at this man-made addition to His Word.

And certainly, the man of God, or the woman of God has no desire to, “rain on the parade” of others, as the saying goes.

.

The last thing we want to do is spoil the celebration of others, even if it is unbiblical!

.

“COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE!”

**But in response to God’s command to, “Come out of her (Babylon, the apostate churches) My people…”, Christians must come all the way out of spiritual Babylon!**

God is not a compromiser with paganism and worldly philosophies.

**And though “this ignorance God winked at” in past decades, the time to come out of Babylon has fully arrived!**

**One thing to keep in mind is the verse from Psalms 35:9… “verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity (worthless). Selah.“**

Yes, there is nothing that Mankind can do that will enhance the effectiveness of the Gospel!

And so, for us to think that man-made holidays will somehow be a benefit to the Salvation of the Lost, is anti-biblical thinking.

Oh yes, such holidays as Christmas and Easter may bring people into the Church.

.

But the fact is, these holidays have an appeal to unconverted minds.

And so, as we look out across the Christian landscape, it is easily seen that the Church has, over the past decades, filled up with Antichrists, who have, “crept in unawares”! (see Jude 1:4)

“ADD THOU NOT!”

Listen to the pure Word of Truth…

“Every word of God is pure:

He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him.

Add thou not unto His words,

lest He reprove thee,

and thou be found a liar.”

Those who truly fear God and put their trust in Him, will tremble at the thought of adding anything to His Word!

.

**And frankly, these Babylonian “holy-days” are an addition to His Word, no matter how hard the worldly-portion-of-the-Church tries to deny it!**

IMPOSSIBLE TO DO GOOD!

And so, we presumptuously surmise that we can somehow turn these unbiblical holidays into a blessing, by witnessing to this lost world during these times…

…such misguided notions deny God’s Word which tells us that, “Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one!” Job 14:4.

And thus, Job 14:4 assures us that our man-made additions to God’s Word will ultimately result in more problems than any supposed benefits!

But remember, every day of the year is an excellent time to just exercise Christian silence and allow the family to have a joyful time during that month-long celebration and every other day too!

THE FIRST NEWCOMER

.

There was a man who drove into a little town, let’s just call, “Anywheresville”.

.

And as he drove slowly down the quaint little streets of his prospective new hometown, he spotted an old but very ornate front porch.

.

And on that porch sat an old, but refined-looking, white-haired gentlemen, rocking back and forth in an antique rocking chair.

.

And so he stopped and rolled down his window and said…“Uh hello! Say, I’m thinking of moving into this town. And I…uh…I just wondered what kind of town this is. Is it a nice town? How are the people here?”

.

Well, the old gentleman stopped rocking, paused, seeming to reflect on the question asked. But after a moment, he looked up and said…“Tell me son, just what kind of a town was it where you came from?”

.

The young man in the car flashed a broad smile and answered back…“Well, to tell you the truth, my last town was an extremely nice town with really friendly people! Hated to leave!”

.

And the old gentlemen quickly replied…“Well son, that’s exactly how things are here in this town!”

.

**And so, the man happily said, “Thank you” and drove off.**

THE SECOND NEWCOMER

About an hour or so later, another man came slowly rolling down the same street.

And he too stopped to ask that same old gentleman the very same question.

.

And the old gentleman stopped rocking and asked…“Tell me son, just what kind of a town was it where you came from?”

.

Upon hearing this question, a frown came over the young man’s face, as he replied “It was about the rottenest little spot on the face of this planet! Unfriendliest people you could ever think of running into! That’s exactly the reason why I’m looking for a new town to move to! Couldn’t wait to leave!”

.

Upon hearing this answer, the old gentleman quickly replied…“Well son, that’s exactly how things are here in this town!”

JOY AND PEACE WITHIN

So obviously, the morale of this little story is that peace and happiness is not something you search the world to find!

No, true peace and joy is something you either have, or don’t have!

The television is constantly trying to sell us on the notion that, “If I just buy that fancy new car…”

Or, “If I can just buy that nice big house…”

.

Or, “If I can just wear those stylish new clothes…”

.

Or, “If I can just make enough money…”

Or, “If I could just go to that luxury resort, then will my life be happier, and I will be more fulfilled!”

TV FUELS OUR DESIRES

And all day long, the television, radio and various media all attempt to sell the public on the idea that happiness and contentment can be achieved by some attainment, some career-choice, some material possession, or some pleasure or amusement.

Now, the world pretty much buys into these notions.

.

After all, just look at all those who are chasing after these very things!

.

GOD’S MERCY EVEN ON THE UNSAVED

.

Now the Bible reveals that God has mercy on all of His creatures…

.

Listen…“for He (the Lord) maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.” Matthew 5:44, 45

.

People just do not understand the true source of happiness and joy!

.

This above passage reveals that God is a very pitiful God. And He even sheds His mercy on this unbelieving world. God gives times of refreshment and happiness even to this wicked world.

He is the true source of happiness (joy).

SATAN’S WORLD OF SELFISH PLEASURES

Oh yes, the Devil and his legions of fellow-angels can and do give unbelievers many times of laughter and pleasure.

And so, he must give plenty of “good times” to his loyal citizens of this world.

But Satan’s pleasures and joys are short-lived and eventually the unbeliever’s joy returns back to the troubles, strife, sorrows, fears, and sufferings of this sad world!

But one of the main points to this devotional is that true joy, peace, and contentment will never be found by seeking the things of the world.

No, the only way that true joy, peace, and contentment can be found is by looking in the right direction…UP!

AN UPWARD SOJOURN

Yes, true Christianity is a journey.

An upward, Heavenward sojourn.

And the longer one stays on that upward Bible pathway, the deeper will be that peace, joy, and contentment…

Jesus calls out to us…“Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

.

**And such a “rest unto your souls” that Jesus offers, is found through sitting daily at His feet and hearing His Word, allowing God to purify the hearts of His sons and daughters.**

A new constellation has been revealed, as of about May 29th, 2014.

This constellation appears as a serpent (snake). Its body is comprised of stars from the Bootes Constellation, and its jaws are made of the four stars which Babylonians saw as the head of Draco, the Dragon. It also has a small single star for an eye.

Now in this constellation is a group of five stars, which will be called “The ‘Five Foolish Virgins’ Stars”. These are located on the opposite side of the Glorious Crown of 12 Stars (AKA Corona Borealis), from the ‘Five Wise Virgins’ Stars. But one big difference between the two is, that The Five Wise are curved around the Glorious Crown, while the Five Foolish are curved away from it!

Eternal Torment?

.

Part 17:

“Torment In Heaven?”

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;

and there shall be no more death,

neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:

for the former things are passed away.

And He that sat upon the throne said,

Behold, I make all things new.

And He said unto me,

Write: for these words are true and faithful.”

Revelation 21:4, 5

This above passage makes the New Heaven and the New Earth sound pretty nice, doesn’t it?

.

After all, what could be better than to live for evermore in a universe in which there are no more tears, death, sorrow, crying, nor any pain!?

GOD’S UNIVERSE NOT SO NICE!?

.

Unfortunately, the fallen church-world paints a much different description of Heaven!

.

Yes, the sad fact is, today’s churches and denominations have tenaciously clung to an archaic old church-doctrine from their mother-church.

.

And this apostate church long ago established the claim that somewhere in God’s creation exists a torture-chamber-of horrors in which pain and suffering and crying and sorrow and screaming and begging and intense torment go on forever, throughout all eternity! Endless suffering and torment for almost all those rejectors of God’s love, who ever lived here on Planet Earth!

INCREDIBLY BAD BIBLE STUDY

.

You see, while the Bible does indeed speak of Hell, it does not speak of Hell as a place of eternal torment.

.

In essence this false doctrine makes God into a liar! After all, this passage from Revelation 21:4, 5 clearly teaches that all tears, death, sorrow crying and pain will no more exist!

.

In other words, all the torment of our present lives in this hellish world of suffering will be forever gone in the New Heavens and the New Earth.

.

Unfortunately, the apostate churches of Europe engaged in some really bad Bible study to come up with this ridiculous notion that God has a giant torture chamber in which He is mercilessly tormenting as much as 90% of all people who ever lived throughout history!

CAN’T LIFT PASSAGES OUT OF CONTEXT

.

The problem is, instead of comparing and prayerfully balancing every related scripture concerning the nature of Hell, the erring theologians took the Parable of the Rich Man & Lazarus, along with the verse that says, “The smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever”.

.

And then they used these two passages to cancel out all the many passages will tell us, “the wages of sin is death”, and, “The soul that sinneth shall die.”

.

CURSE ON ADDING/DIMINISHING GOD’S WORD

.

But the Bible pronounces a curse on any person that tries to cancel out any passage found in Scripture.

.

Listen…“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life,” Revelation 22:18, 19

.

And so, the apostate church in centuries past violated this above verse when they decided to make the Rich Man & Lazarus, a parable of many gross exaggerations, and “ever-ascending smoke” to be the sum-total of the nature of Hell. And in doing so, they had to ignore the many passages which speak of Hell as the grave.

.

**And as a result, they came under that curse, by their dismissing all those many “Hell is the grave” passages.**

.

“Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish’s belly, And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and He heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and Thou heardest my voice”

.

Btw, the Bible also refers to this present fallen world as also being part of Hell. And so, many passages which speak of suffering and torment, can actually be referring to this present world of darkness and rebellion against Heaven.

.

Thus, theologians have erringly misconstrued those passages, wrongfully assigning them to an after-life existence in some netherworld cavern in the fiery bowels of the Earth! See, Jonah, Chapter 2, for example, in which Jonah compares his present torment in the belly of that whale, to “the belly of Hell”.

THE BIBLE IS ONE WORD

.

The Bible is one whole doctrine.

.

And any passage that is independently lifted out of the context of everything else the Bible has to say about a particular doctrine, is in danger of becoming a false doctrine.

.

This is because “no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation” 1st Peter 1:20

.

As this above verse from 1st Peter reveals, the Bible is one whole prophetic doctrine.

.

And it is impossible to interpret any one passage privately, and out of context of the ALL of the Bible!

.

“I SHOULD HAVE SLEPT…BEEN AT REST!”

.

And so, in contrast to this church doctrine, “Eternal Torment”, the Book of Job tells us…“Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly? For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest, With kings and counsellors of the earth, which built desolate places for themselves; There, (in death) the wicked cease from troubling; and there the weary be at rest.” Job 3:11, 13, 14, 17,

.

Nowhere in this above passage does it speak of eternal torment!

.

It only speaks of death in terms of trouble-free rest! And those who ignore or try to wrestle away the meaning of this above passage are perhaps giving evidence that their heart is not right with the Lord!

.

Because, in essence, they have rejected this scripture in hopes of continuing to cling to this archaic false church-doctrine of “Eternal Torment”, handed down to them by the apostate Mother-of-Harlots in centuries past!

.

TRUTH-SEEKERS HAPPY TO BE CORRECTED

.

But all those who have received the love for truth, will want to know EVERYTHING the Bible has to say on this doctrine and that doctrine, and every other Bible doctrine!

.

And every truth-seeking soul will rejoice whenever he or she discovers any new hidden gem of truth, even if it results in having to discard any old wrong church-doctrine!

.

But those who love their “Mother-church” and her false doctrines more than they love the Bible in its entirety, will try to dismiss such passages as this above passage, Job 3:11-19, which clearly speaks of Hell as the Grave.

.

NO ETERNAL TORMENT IN HEAVEN-MADE-NEW!

But let’s get back to our signature passage for today… “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” Revelation 21:4, 5

**These above words are “true and faithful”, as this above passage reveals!**

.

Heaven will not contain some Chamber of Horrors, in which 90% or more of Planet Earth’s past inhabitants will be screaming and writhing in endless torment through the ceaseless ages.

.

When you really think it through, this whole idea of “Eternal Torture-Chamber of Horrors” is so absurd and ridiculous that it’s hard to imagine how any biblically-literate Christian could actually believe such unbiblical nonsense!

.

But it’s a real testament of just how overpowering and overwhelming church tradition can be!

.

And of course, let’s not forget that we have an Enemy who loves to make God look like a horrible monster to all those unsaved ones in the world.

FORMER THINGS PASSED AWAY

**But much to the contrary, our signature passage instead reveals that all the “former things”, such as suffering, sorrow, pain, tears and even death, will be forever vanquished out of existence!**

And instead, the entire universe will then become a place of peace, and joy, and rest, and purity, and love.

.

And throughout all the lush green eternal valleys and hills will be heard the echoes of innocent laughter, and singing, and unbroken liberty bells ringing-in the total and final victory over evil.

.

And we will be forever young!

.

And no more will there be a place of suffering and torment!

.

And this Promised Land will continue on for ever, and ever…Amen!

ORION, THE GOOD SHEPHERD

.

This star-chart from Wikipedia, has Orion sketched in by the editor of this website.

With the addition of a single star, Theta Geminorum (the left hand of the Castor twin of Gemini), the sickle in Orion, the Reaper’s hand (sketch to left), now extends the blade, thus transforming that sickle into the hook of a shepherd’s rod and staff. And so now this little Gemini star becomes the tip of Orion’s Shepherd’s rod & staff. Thus with this additional star, Orion the Reaper Constellation now becomes the 5th personality of Orion: The Good Shepherd (sketch below right). Theta Geminorum is a class A3, 4th magnitude star, which means it is much fainter than either of the stars, Castor or Pollux. But faint as This little star may be, it nevertheless presents a giant concept, turning Orion’s sickle into a shepherd’s rod.

**And this is a very wonderful and beautiful Bible truth: namely, that Jesus is the Good Shepherd, as is written…**

.

“As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out My sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.” Ezekiel 34:12

.

And so God has placed this Starry Shepherd in the winter-night heavens to remind us of His great love for a planet which has wandered away: just like sheep that wandered to where the grass looked greener.

Daily Devotional, Year 3 – February 15

.

The False Prophet,

.

Part 12:

“Is The Kingdom of God Within You?”

“And when He (Jesus) was demanded of the Pharisees,

when the Kingdom of God should come,

He answered them and said,

The Kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there!

for, behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.”

Luke 17:20, 21

.

There is a movement afoot to limit the above passage from Luke, which states…“for, behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:21

.

In other words, there are currently theologians who now attempt to say that Jesus was not saying that the Kingdom of God is within the heart of a Believer.

.

**And instead, they say that Jesus was telling those Pharisees that, “the Kingdom of God is in your midst”, since Jesus was standing right there in their midst.**

THEOLOGIANS PARTLY CORRECT

.

And it’s true, Jesus was standing there in their midst!

.

And Jesus is, in essence, the Kingdom of God.

.

And so, these modern-day theologians are partly correct!

.

Jesus, indeed, is the Kingdom of God, and He was, indeed, standing right there in their midst!

.

GOD’S KINGDOM WITHIN OUR HEART

.

But does this truth somehow nullify the fact that the Kingdom of God is within a Christian’s heart?

.

Not at all! As a matter of fact, it only confirms that the Kingdom of God is within the heart and soul of the Christian!

.

Listen to the following declaration by Paul…“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:” Galatians 2:20

.

Paul here reveals that Christ is living out His life through Paul.

.

THE JOHN 17 PRAYER

.

Listen to the next passage from John…

“I (Christ) in them (Believers),

and Thou (the Father) in Me (Christ),

that they may be made perfect in one;

and that the world may know that Thou hast sent Me,

and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved Me.”

John 17:23

.

Okay, so it says here that not only is Christ in the Believer, but that the Father is in Christ!

.

And so, both the Father and the Son indwells every genuine Believer!

.

Incredible?

.

Oh yes, and amazing too!

.

WHY THE DENIAL?

.

So why are some theologians just now beginning to deny that the Kingdom of God exists within the hearts of Believers?

.

Perhaps this next verse explains this denial…

“For unto every one that hath shall be given,

and he shall have abundance:

but from him that hath not

shall be taken away even that which he hath.”

Matthew 25:29

.

Here it reveals the grim reality that those who are within the apostate church-world are even losing the truths which they have held in the past.

END-TIME EXODUS

.

So just what can be done about this frightful situation in today’s church-world?

.

God is now calling His people to begin to make an end-time exodus out of the apostate churches and denominations which are abandoning the great truths they once cherished.

.

And today’s devotional is highlighting just one more reason to, “Come out of her, My people, lest ye be partakes of her sins, and receive of her plagues!”

.

OUR BREAD & WATER ASSURED

And so, O Stranger & Pilgrim of the Cross, we must begin to make that departure away from the Babylonish confusion which now pervades today’s church-world.

.

But the Good News is, that our heavenly bread and our living waters will be abundantly provided on those high hills and mountains in the very day when the towers are fallen, even as it is written…

“And there shall be upon every high mountain,

and upon every high hill,

rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter,

when the towers fall.”

Isaiah 30:25
