Habakkuk the prophet warns Christians of the corrupting influence of Chaldeans (the unbelieving people of the world). Yes, like never before, God’s people are being spiritually corrupted by the close contact with unbelievers.

Nevertheless, Habakkuk foretells of the day when God tells His people to “RUN!”

EVIL COMMUNICATIONS CORRUPTS

1st Corinthians 15:33

Now, we don’t know all the reasons why we are to run. God may have some reasons not yet revealed.

.

But we do know a good many reasons!

.

For instance, as Habakkuk says…“Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.” Habakkuk 1:4

.

Yes, with such close contact with unbelievers, it is becoming increasingly difficult to avoid being corrupted by such things as the high-tech devices which young and old alike are now addicted to. And by just a little bit of improper judgment, the Believer can now drum up ungodly images on the Internet which could never before seen, so easily!

SATAN’S MIND-CONTROL CENTER

With the advent of television, radio, and high-tech devices, this society has become Satan’s giant mind-control center. The situation in this society has become so incredibly evil, and yet Christians seem to be in a spiritual stupor, not being spiritually alert enough to realize just what great trouble we are in.

SCHOOLS: MIND-CONTROL

Satan has molded this society in such a way that our children are forced into schools which aggressively attempt to convert them into becoming secularists.

.

And don’t think that Christian schools are a viable alternative. In the first place, they are mostly very expensive. And even if a Christian can afford one, most of the private Christian schools have mingled so much of the world into their curriculum, that they are little more than an extension of the world. And the state governments have loaded so many requirements on Christian schools, that the Christian curriculum is thin and anemic in comparison to their secular curriculum!

A TALKING IMAGE

The prophet, Habakkuk has foretold of this day, when Satan would be permitted to exert his power and influence so greatly upon the minds of the world’s inhabitants, that it is virtually impossible to escape his deadly mind-control system…

But also listen to Revelation speak of a talking image… “And he (the False Prophet) had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.” Revelation 13:15

.

Just think of it! How in the world can Christian parents raise their children to truly love the Lord, and truly live for Heaven in this current mind-controlling society? From worldly-minded schools to television and radio, to the ungodly music, to sports and amusements, to the high-tech devices! These all fill our minds with the characteristics of Satan, gradually conforming us into his image!

And so, it is just about guaranteed that if a child is allowed to indulge any one or more of these forms of idolatry, it won’t be long until that child is totally unreachable for any heavenward calling! The Bible is becoming an increasingly hated book!

HABAKKUK SAYS “RUN!”

.

For those parents who actually do awaken from their spiritual slumber, there may be some great hope. God has not left us without a way of escape.

.

You see, the prophet, Habakkuk tells us to “RUN!” And yes, if you can afford to move to some country location, then by all means do so! 

.

But there is a much safer place for the Christian parent to “RUN!”

.

LIVING WATERS UPON HILLS AND MOUNTAINS

.

Listen…“And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.” Isaiah 30:25

.

You see, Isaiah here is speaking in veiled, allegorical language. But basically, the mountains spoken of here, are the “everlasting hills” (see Genesis 49:21). And the waters spoken of here are the “living waters” which spring forth from God. (see John 7:38)

.

Listen… “His (God’s) foundation is in the holy mountains…all my springs are in Thee.” Psalm 87:1, 7

.

Yes, here is where we must “RUN!” Here is where we must hide! These are the mountains to which we must flee! And as Isaiah 30:25 says, there are abundant living waters on these holy mountains and everlasting hills!

But just how do we go to those mountains?

FLEE TO THE MOUNTAINS!

Listen again to Isaiah…“In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; To go into the clefts of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth. Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?” Isaiah 2:20-22

.

Now here again is veiled allegorical language to give us a picture of how and where we are to “RUN!” You see, as this above passage reveals, we are to cast away our idols and flee to the clefts of the ragged rocks.

And just where are the clefts of the ragged rocks? God’s Word is where those clefts of the ragged rocks happen to be. Yes, we are to fully immerse ourselves in God’s Word.

DISCIPLESHIP REQUIRES ALL!

But God requires us to forsake our many idols, before we can fully immerse ourselves…

Listen to Jesus…“So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be My disciple.” Luke 14:33

Yes, God is calling for disciples to, “Come and follow Me”, But He is not allowing us to bring our earthly idols along with us!

A FORSAKING WITHIN

.

Now if we have a family, then our forsaking will be accomplished in our heart. In other words, if I have a family, they probably are not going to allow me to give away all our possessions. And so, the true Believer will begin a spiritual journey in his or her heart.

.

And even though we must continue to live and work and provide for our family’s needs and happiness, we will secretly be on an upward heavenward sojourn of the heart! And so we will soon be traveling upward into the hill-country which Isaiah speaks of! And we will discover the abundant living waters which Isaiah 30:25 speaks of!

MANY PRECIOUS PROMISES!

Now just how does my new spiritual sojourn help the deplorable situation of my family in this mind-controlling world?

Well the Bible has plenty of promises, such as this one… “Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in His ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.” Psalm 128:1-4

LEAVING BABYLON

.

The main point to today’s devotional is just this: The Christian community has polluted itself by mingling itself with this idolatrous, Babylonish world. It has become a compromised church-world. And as a result, God’s pillar of fire has long ago departed.

.

And now, God is calling His people out of spiritual Babylon, the fallen “towers” (churches). But more than just calling us out physically, God is also calling us to come out in our heart! Therefore, God is calling to come and purify the Most Holy Place of our heart. He is wanting a purified people. And for those who finally and fully overcome, there will be plenty of blessings in store!

And just think of it! Could there be anything more wonderful than to one day walk through those heavenly gates and along those streets of gold (faith & love), hand-in-hand with our family?

WIDE & NARROW GATES IN THE HEAVENS

.

As the opening verse says, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:13-14

So what are these two gates all about? And how can I choose the right door? Well, just read this article and these questions and more will be answered.

But before we explore these questions, let’s take a look at why these two sets of stars represent these two biblical gates.

HOW THE GATES RELATE TO ORION & DRAGON

.

This sketch below is when these constellations are in the eastern sky in early winter (However, this constellation group can even be seen as early as July, in the pre-dawn hours). In the eastern sky, it’s not so easily seen which gate the Revelation 12 Woman will enter. The Wide Gate is made of the two brightest stars of this Wave of Water Constellation. Satan spews out the deadly water of his false worldly ideologies; which many of these ideologies have a form of godliness, but in some way are not in harmony; or perhaps these worldly ideologies add to the Bible, which is strictly forbidden (see Deuteronomy 4:2).

On the other hand, the Strait Gate (narrow gate) is composed of the two brightest stars of the Orion The Reaper’s sickle. The true Strait Gate represents Jesus, the Word of God.

Listen… “I [Jesus] am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” John 10:9

Apocalypse Now! Part 1: Silencing The Gospel

“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Revelation 12:17 

.

“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:12

.

These two above verses are both from two different chapters of the Book of Revelation, given to the Apostle, John. And they both speak of commandment-keeping persons. And yet the first group have, “the testimony of Jesus”, while the second group, “keep the faith of Jesus”. Isn’t this an interesting difference?

WHY THE DIFFERENCE?

.

But why is this difference even mentioned concerning these two groups of commandment-keeping people?

.

Well, perhaps we need to examine the events surrounding each group and see if this gives us a clue as to why one group has, “the testimony of Jesus” while the other group keeps, “the faith of Jesus”.

.

REVELATION 12 DECLARES THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL

.

Listen to the first group in context… “And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Revelation 12:14-17

.

Here in Revelation 12 is a chapter which describes the Gospel story in signs in the heavens. The Dragon, the Woman, and Michael and His angels, all represent the three groups of players in the war in Heaven. Satan, the Church, and Christ, the eternal Son of God and His heavenly host!

THE PERSECUTED CHURCH

.

Now this above scenario of a woman fleeing from the dragon into the wilderness is the story of the Church through the ages. Oh yes, God paints this picture in allegorical symbols. But with a little comparing of scripture with scripture and spiritual things with spiritual, this passage quickly unseals itself. And of course, Michael represents Christ, the eternal Son of God.

And as we all know, the persecuted Church through the past 2,000 years has been proclaiming the Gospel, even sealing their testimony by their blood, quite often!

SECOND PASSAGE FOR END-TIMES

.

But when we come to the second passage we notice that it makes no mention of having, “the testimony of Jesus”, but instead, having, “the faith of Jesus”.

.

And, upon reading these words in context, it is discovered that this second group comes out of a terrible trial…

.

Listen… “And the third angel followed them (the first two angels), saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name….”

.

Now if we stopped right here we might get the idea that those who received all this torment were hopelessly condemned to an eternity of further torment! But a battle has been going on in their hearts! Christ and Satan have both been dueling for supremacy and control over the sorely tried and tempted Christian!

PURGING OUT THE ‘OLD MAN’

.

But listen as the Lord continues to define just who this that has received the fire & brimstone…

.

Listen… “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.” Revelation 14:9-13

.

So, this second group has emerged victorious from this Mark of the Beast message. They have been purified by fire. No longer do they worship the beast and his image in the flesh! The “old man” of sin has been thoroughly crucified from out of their hearts, by fiery trials! They have patiently allowed God to perform His fiery purifying process on their heart! This is the patience of the saints! The dross has all been burned away! They now come forth as purified gold! And finally, these purified ones are able to live by the faith of Jesus! They walk, even as He (Jesus) walked, during His earthly sojourn!

SECOND GROUP: THE FAITH OF JESUS

.

But the problem is, this second group of victorious Christians are no longer said to have “the testimony of Jesus”. Oh yes, they “keep the commandments of God”. And yes, they have, “the faith of Jesus”. But unlike the first passage in Revelation, there is no mention of them having, “the testimony of Jesus”.

So why the difference? What has changed? After all, throughout the history of the Church, Christians have been proclaiming the Gospel to the world, as far as possible.

TOTAL APOSTASY

.

Well, the best thing to do is to merely allow Scripture to define Scripture…

.

Listen… “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2nd Timothy 4:3, 4

.

As this above passage foretells, the day is coming when the churches will no longer tolerate sound doctrine! And instead, they will heap to themselves teachers who will scratch their itching ears with false teachings. And this condition will obviously eliminate those faithful Christians who bring the truth, in all its undiminished brilliance. Truth will be in short supply in the church-world. A total apostasy is foretold!

BUYING & SELLING THE GOSPEL

.

Now, Revelation 13 also builds on this same theme…

.

Listen… “And he (the 2nd Beast, the False prophet) causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the (1st) beast, or the number of his name.” Revelation 13:16, 17

.

Now this above passage foretells of the same day in which no man can buy or sell the truth…

.

Listen…“Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.” Proverbs 23:23

.

Yes, buying the true Gospel is something that should never be traded away!

BUYING THE GOSPEL

.

And while Revelation 13:16, 17 may be speaking of a time of literal financial distress for God’s people, it also speaks of the hour when the true Gospel is completely cut off. And this likewise speaks of the time when it will be all but impossible to proclaim the true Gospel to the world! In that sense too, Christians are selling the truth to anyone willing to buy the truth…

.

Listen…“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.” Isaiah 55:1, 2

.

And so, these two verses from Revelation, which allude to the day in which, “the testimony of Jesus” is no longer attributed to God’s commandment-keeping people.

GOOD NEWS!

.

But the very Good News in all this is, God’s people will finally be purified to the degree that they will walk even as Jesus walked! This is the ultimate fulfillment of what it means to keep God’s Commandments!

.

Yes, God’s people will finally understand the keeping God’s commandments is not some little laundry-list of ten little rules to be legalistically obeyed! But instead, they will finally understand that Jesus’ glorious life is the true fulfillment of God’s Law! And having previously hidden God Word in their hearts, they now shine as the Sun in the day “when the towers (the fallen churches) shall fall!” (see Isaiah 30:25)

.

And now, God’s glorified people no longer need to speak literal words. Their purified and glorified Christ-like lives do all the speaking for them!

7 STARS IMITATE THE CROSS OF ORION

.

 This phenomenon begins in late October, in the pre-dawn hours. It then begins a little earlier each night, and lasts for several months, until they both appear to lie down once again.

.

This Wikipedia star-chart to the left, has this Orion Constellation sketched in. You must locate Orion, when it is mid-sky, between east and west. You’ll be facing southward most likely, unless you are far south. Try to imagine it as a Cross on a steep hill. The 3-star belt of Orion becomes the crest of the hill. The 3 very faint stars that make up Orion’s head become the very top of the Cross.

.

Next, locate the 7 Stars Constellation. This 7 Stars Constellation is seen by facing northward. It stands upright a little later in the night. Eventually, Orion will lay down and no longer be seen as an uplifted Cross! Beginning in November, the 7 Stars (AKA Big Dipper) can be seen as a Cross a little bit later in evening.

When you are comfortable in locating Orion & The 7 Stars Constellations, then show a friend. This can be a great witnessing tool!

The Necessity of Afflictions

What a blessed motto and superscription over the dark lintels of sorrow! — “if need be!” Every arrow from the quiver of God is feathered with it! Write it, child of affliction, over every trial your God sees fit to send!

.

If he calls you down from the sunny mountain-heights to the darksome glades, hear Him saying: “There is a need be!”

.

If he has dashed the cup of earthly prosperity from your lips, curtailed your creature comforts, diminished your “basket and store” — hear Him saying, “There is a need be!”

.

If He has ploughed and furrowed your soul with severe bereavement — extinguished light after light in your dwelling — hear Him thus stilling the tumult of your grief, “There is a need be!”

.

Yes! believe it, there is some profound reason for your trial, which at present may be indiscernible. No furnace will be hotter than He sees to be needed…

THE TWO SISTERS OF EZEKIEL

.

“The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother: And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised the teats of their virginity. And the names of them were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus were their names; Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah.” Ezekiel 23:1-4

This story from Ezekiel has had a very great message for God’s people. This story likewise speaks of this Pleiades Constellation. Samaria seems to represent those who claim to have a relationship with God, but simply do not. Jerusalem seems to represent those who are like the Captive Angel, and have a miniscule love for God, but have been carried away captive. God is more upset with Jerusalem (Aholibah), because she should have known better than her totally apostate sister (Aholah)

This above verse has been like glue, holding God’s people together for almost 2,000 years.

Oh yes, during the Dark Ages, God’s true worshipers had to flee from the apostate churches.

But there was always an attempt to congregate together, whether in a designated building, or home, or even in some mountain stronghold.

AS WE SEE, “WHAT DAY APPROACHING?”

But if one looks more closely at this verse , they will notice that it says to “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, and all the more, especially as ye see the Day approaching” Hebrews 10:25

And so, the question to be asked is, “As we see WHAT DAY approaching?”

A GREAT SHAKING

.

Well, as the Bible student continues on in Hebrews, he will find this statement…“Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also Heaven…that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.” Hebrews 12:25-27

.

This above passage speaks of the day when God will shake those things both in earth and also in Heaven, “that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.”

THE DAY IN WHICH TO RUN

.

Well, compare this to a verse in Isaiah which also speaks of God shaking the earth…“In that Day a man shall…go into the clefts of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth. Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of? ” Isaiah 2:20-22

.

Here is seen that God’s people are to “cast away their idols of silver and gold” to go into the clefts of the ragged rocks when God arises to “shake terribly the earth!”

THE DAY WE MUST FLEE

.

And so, it is evident that the Day is coming when God’s people must flee to those ragged rocks in the Day when God arises to shake terribly the earth!

.

Thus, when Hebrews exhorts us to “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, and all the more as we see the Day approaching”, it is revealed above in Isaiah 2:20-22 that the “Day approaching” is speaking of when God’s people are to flee to the “ragged Rocks” when God shakes the earth (and the heaven too!)

WHERE TO FLEE TO?

So now that this time of fleeing has been established, the next question to be asked is, “Well, just where are we to flee to?”

After all, the governments in the western nations have all but locked up the forests by “No Trespassing” laws.

So how in the world can we flee to the “ragged rocks”?

“HIDE THYSELF, AS…FOR A LITTLE MOMENT…” 

.

Listen to this next passage from Isaiah 26:20, 21…“Come, My people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth…”

.

So God commands His people to enter into their chambers to hide until the “indignation be overpast”.

.

This time of hiding ourselves until God’s punishment of the earth’s inhabitants is accomplished, is likewise speaking of the Day of the Lord, in which God will arise to shake terribly the earth (and the heaven too!)

.

“SEEK RIGHTEOUSNESS, SEEK MEEKNESS”

.

But this leads to yet another question… “I don’t have any chambers! So then, just how do I hide myself? Where in the world can I possibly hide myself!?”

.

Well, listen to this next passage…“Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.” Zephaniah 2:3

.

Here is seen that for a true worshiper to be hidden in the Day of the Lord’s anger requires one to seek after righteousness and meekness.

GOD’S SECRET PAVILION

.

But again, where do we hide? Where are those chambers that Isaiah speaks of?

.

Well, listen to this next passage from Psalm 27:5, 6…“For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion: in the secret of His tabernacle shall He hide me; He shall set me up upon a Rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me:”

.

So here is revealed that it is in the secret of God’s tabernacle that His people must hide in the “Time of Trouble”. Here is the true hiding place of safety from, “my enemies round about me”.

“MY HIDING PLACE”

.

And if there is any remaining question as to just where is that secret of God’s tabernacle, listen again to Psalms…“Thou art my hiding place; Thou shalt preserve me from trouble; Thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.” Psalm 32:7

.

And so, God is our true “hiding place”. 

.

And so, O Christian Stranger and Pilgrim, the time has come to take refuge in the secret hiding place of the Lord. For we are now living in that very day when God is beginning to shake the earth.

And the time to flee to this place of refuge is NOW!

THE ‘FIVE FOOLISH VIRGINS’ STARS

.

A new constellation has been revealed, as of about May 29th, 2014. This constellation appears as a serpent (snake). Its body is comprised of stars from the Bootes Constellation, and its jaws are made of the four stars which Babylonians saw as the head of Draco, the Dragon. It also has a small single star for an eye.

.

Now in this constellation is a group of five stars, which will be called “The ‘Five Foolish Virgins’ Stars”. These are located on the opposite side of the Glorious Crown of 12 Stars (AKA Corona Borealis), from the ‘Five Wise Virgins’ Stars.

.

But one big difference between the two is, that The Five Wise are curved around the Glorious Crown, while the Five Foolish are curved away from it!

2nd BEAST OF REVELATION 13

Yes, now that we are in the era of the 2nd Beast of Revelation 13, the time of the False Prophet, it is Satan’s plan to totally conform the world, as well as God’s people into the image of the Beast (the world-system that is the very image of the Dragon, Satan).

And just what is the image of Satan?

Simple! Satan’s character is all about pride, envy, anger, selfishness, impatience, jesting, irreverence, lust, greed, violence, revenge, false doctrines and ideologies, plus many other similar qualities.

This is what his image is all about! It’s his likeness!

And of course, this website has spoken much about television, radio, Internet, and the various high-tech devices which are extremely effective in conforming the world into his image.

But there should be a mention of yet another means of brainwashing the masses into conforming to his image.

IN AGES PAST

You see, in ages past, there were very few images. Oh yes, on the walls of king’s castles and in the homes of nobility, one could view fine works of art.

But for the most part, images were very scarce!

But listen to the following prophecy concerning this very day…“And (the 2nd beast) deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by …saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image…And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.” Revelation 13:14, 15 (condensed for brevity)

Now here in this above passage is seen that there was to be some sort of image, which the entire world was to worship.

SIGNS ARE NOW EVERYWHERE!

And isn’t it true that we are living in the day of image-making?

.

From television, to movie-theaters, to magazines, to billboards, to Internet, this world is filling up with images!

.

But just walk through one of those big-box stores, and behold all the signage in most every isle! It’s absolutely amazing to see all the images in today’s market place!

INSTILLING A LOVE FOR THIS WORLD

But all those images are not merely happenstance, nor are they benign!

.

No, most of those images are designed to create a desire within the viewer to conform to some aspect of this Antichrist world-system!

.

Take for instance the signage (and mannequins) one might encounter in the clothing department.

.

What do they portray? Modesty? Simplicity? Humility & meekness? Faith?

.

No, but rather, they are trying to portray the image of pride! Of envy! Of sensuality! Of lust! Of opulence! Of conformity to the fads and fashions of this fallen world!

.

In simplest terms, they portray the very image of Satan’s character!

.

ANTICHRIST WORLD-SYSTEM

And when one backs up a few steps, and looks at the big picture, it becomes clear that it is Satan’s overall purpose to conform us into the qualities of this world, but not into Heaven’s qualities!

Yes, all those “pleasant pictures” we see all around us, are purposely designed to conform the hearts and minds of the people into this Luciferian world-system!

“DAY OF THE LORD UPON ALL PLEASANT PICTURES”

Listen to Isaiah’s prophecy concerning The Day of the Lord…“For The Day of the LORD of Hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty…and he shall be brought low… and upon all PLEASANT PICTURES.” Isaiah 2:12, 16)

Here is seen that God knew all about these current times and how Satan would use technology to create all these “pleasant pictures” we are now overwhelmed by, nearly everywhere we go!

WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN?

And isn’t it so true that the easiest targets are our children?

.

Yes, it is Satan’s great desire to totally indoctrinate our children to love this present, selfish, antichrist world-system! In this way, they become his willing servants and prisoners!

And so, every time a Christian takes her child through these stores, that child is getting a thorough schooling into the wares and ways of this antichristian world, as his or her little eyes soak in all those lusty pictures which are just about everywhere in the store!

GOOD NEWS!

.

Well, the Good News is, that, “where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:” Romans 5:20.

.

Yes, God has provided a way of escape for His sorely tried and tempted people! Because, God is now calling His people to, “Come out of her (this world-system) My people, that you do not partake of her sins and do not receive of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4.

.

Yes, God is now calling His people to make an end-time exodus out of this self-focused world. But it is a spiritual exodus, which each and every true worshiper of God can join, even the infirm and incarcerated!

.

And as we daily behold the image of Jesus in our studies, our prayers, and in our constant contemplation of Him, we will be imperceptibly, “changed into the same Image (of Jesus)…even as by the Spirit of the Lord!” (see 2nd Corinthians 3:17, 18)

FLOOD-WATERS OF SATAN CONSTELLATION

7 HEADS, 10 HORNS, & 7 CROWNS OF THE DRAGON

“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.” Rev. 12:3

In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns. However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not. But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns. Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars. The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7). And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10). So we have this 7 and 10 numbering. And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent. Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).

The Time of Jacob’s Trouble,

 “Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled;

and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee!

when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled;

and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously,

O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee:

be thou their arm every morning,

our salvation also in the time of trouble.”

This above passage from Isaiah is especially prophesied for these last moments of time in which we are now in!

This passage speaks of the reward for evil deeds. It promises of recompense for all treachery. It foretells of the Judgment to come upon all who needlessly oppress others.

But this above passage from Isaiah is not merely for the last days. No, but rather, judgment has always been meted out upon wrong-doers!

JACOB’S TIME OF TROUBLE

Take, for instance, the story of Jacob. Yes, Jacob hearkened to his mother’s bad advice, by dealing treacherously with his brother, Esau, stealing away Esau’s blessing.

.

But Jacob didn’t get away with his dishonest ways. No, God was going to save Jacob. But God was also going to purify Jacob from his wickedness.

JACOB’S NOSE RUBBED IN HIS OWN SINS

And so, the following decades became Jacob’s training ground, as Jacob became oppressed by Uncle Laban who continually swindled Jacob, time-and-time-again! Yes, when Jacob made an end of oppressing his brother, Jacob became the oppressed one.

.

Oh yes, God graciously allowed Jacob to enjoy many years of joy and hope, as he labored in hope of one day obtaining Rachael for his bride, there in that foreign land! But that joy and hope was somewhat marred by Uncle Laban’s under-handed dealings with Jacob!

OUR LONG NIGHT OF TROUBLE

Now just what does all this have to do with us, upon whom “the ends of the world are come?” (see 1st Corinthians 10:11)

Well, just listen to Jeremiah’s prophecy…“Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.” Jeremiah 30:6, 7

Now what in the world could this above passage be speaking of!?!

LABOR PAINS

.

“Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.” Jeremiah 30:6, 7

Simple! Here is a very unusual, yet frightful prophecy concerning the time we are now in!

You see, the Church of God was given the great commission to bring forth and give birth to Christ, individually as well as collectively. And each and every man, woman, and child has been given the task of allowing the seed of Christ, which God has planted, to grow and thrive in our hearts, until the day comes when Christ will finally come to full blossom in our lives!

CO-LABORERS WITH CHRIST

.

And we have been chosen to be co-laborers with Christ, as husbandmen (farmers), in causing this birth to finally occur!

.

This was to be a joyful work. But like Jacob, we too have inward corruption, which God must purify out of our hearts.

.

And even though God has given us many joyful and hopeful experiences, He nevertheless has mingled these good times with not-so-good-times, just as he did with Jacob, in hopes of causing us to hate the sin which we once loved and practiced.

WRESTLING WITH GOD

.

But alas, time has come to an end! There are not to be decades of time as Jacob experienced. We have now arrived at that time known as “The Time of Jacob’s Trouble”! It is now time to engage in that same wrestling match as Jacob engaged in his long night of combat against that nameless stranger.

.

Yes, this long-promised tempest now coming upon us will be, “a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.” Daniel 12:1

.

During this long night before us, we will be wrestling: wrestling in prayer: wrestling against sin and Satan: wrestling against extreme discouragement and murmuring: Wrestling to allow Christ to be fully formed within!

THE FULL ARMOR OF GOD

.

This time of trouble is spoken of in Ephesians 6:11, 12, in which the Lord exhorts us…“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (click to read entire Ephesians 6:10-17)

Here above is revealed that our wrestling match will be against the unseen powers, but ultimately with God Himself!

UNCLE LABAN ALIVE AND WELL!

.

And like Jacob, we too will be tormented by that wily old “Uncle Laban” who will come at us through various people and events. And Uncle Laban is in actuality, the Devil/Satan, who fully knows our every sinful trait which must be eradicated from our hearts!

.

And so, Satan has gained permission to “sift him as wheat”, just as he did to both Jacob, but also to Peter during Peter’s long night of trouble! (see Luke 22:31)

GOD’S WRATH ACCOMPLISHES OUR SALVATION

And so, O Jacob (Christians), do not be surprised when God’s bowls of wrath begin being poured out in our own life!

.

These are not poured out to merely destroy us.

.

But they are to purify our old sin-nature, “the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts”, which still exists. (see Ephesians 4:22)

SEEING GOD FACE-TO-FACE

And even though it may seem as if all our old past mis-deeds are now coming back to haunt us, know for a certainty that they are, like Jacob, so that when the Dawning of the Day finally arrives, that “Stranger” with whom we wrestled with though the night will finally pronounce the following blessing… “Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.”

And on that glorious morning, when this pronouncement has been made, we will joyfully exclaim…“I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” Genesis 32:28-30

SO WHERE ARE THE “MULTITUDES”?…

.

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,” Isaiah 2:2, 3

.

So where are the multitudes in this constellation? Well if you look at this sketch to the right, carefully, you will see an ENTIRE GALAXY making a slow trek up the steep slope toward the summit of one of the mountains. It is the mountain which is to the north in this sketch. This is the galaxy commonly called Andromeda. It is estimated to have possibly a trillion stars! Is a trillion stars a big enough multitude? Oh yes! Listen to God talking to Abraham…

“And He (God) brought him (Abraham) forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and He said unto him, So shall thy seed be.” Genesis 15:5 

.

But this mountain in which this multitude of stars is climbing represents a very awesome and wonderful Bible concept. This mountain in Scripture is known as Mount Zion. And it is also known as the Mount of Blessing. It represents that spiritual mountain which Believers must climb, in order to reach the City of God. 

.

Listen to Scripture… “But ye are come unto mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem…To the…church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven…” Hebrews 12:22, 23.

.

Well it sure seems that this verse is correct when it says the words… “which are written in heaven”! Because this galaxy in this constellation group is a wonderful picture of the Church as it makes it trek to the summit of this starry mountain; a picture of God’s Church…His faithful people…written in the heavens. These are the Signs of Heaven, promised long ago to be revealed before that “great and terrible Day of the Lord”…

“And I will show WONDERS IN THE HEAVENS and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.” Joel

This above verse foretells of a day in which God will send strong delusion to those who have not received the love of the truth.

Of course, the apostate portion of the Church has always been subject to strong delusion.

THE OVERWHELMING POWER OF TELEVISION

And yet, in these last moments of time, the Bible forewarns of an image that the entire world bows down to, and worships.

And as never before in history, this image has the ability to speak!

You see, we are living in that very day. And there is no fulfillment to that long-promised talking-image as great as television (and other high-tech devices).

And especially when one considers that the very name, “tele-vision” seems to fulfill a “talking image”, foretold in Revelation 13.

GETTING MORE POWERFUL!

But this website has shared many articles about the effects of television and Internet.

.

And yet, today’s devotion is concerned with the ever-growing hypnotic power of this talking image-maker, called television (and Internet).

.

Right now, the “god of this world” has sharpened and perfected the productions which are sent around the world via these high-tech devices.

.

And to be honest, they are often so well-refined, that they can hold audiences spell-bound, especially young audiences!

Even the cartoons are getting so incredibly powerful, that children are mostly helpless to resist the overwhelming influence of Satan’s mesmerizing prowess, via these productions!

They create a normalcy in the minds of viewers, concerning this extremely abnormal world!

HEAVENLY ROLE-MODELS or HELLISH ROLE MODELS?

As most everyone in the Christian community understands, the Bible uses not only Jesus, but mere mortals, such as Paul, to be role-models for Christians to admire and emulate.

.

But Lucifer, now called Satan fully understands this, and has given us his own role-models, for us to conform to. And now, with the advent of television, radio, the printed page, and high-tech devices, like never before this Master-Destroyer has perfected his mind-control machinery in which to conform the world into his own selfish image!

.

And so, the many ‘superstars’ seen and adored by the lost multitudes on a daily basis, become firmly etched upon the tables of the human hearts of all those adoring fans of these ‘ministers of (Satan’s counterfeit) righteousness’! (2nd Corinthians 1:15)

And as a result, they eventually begin to emulate them in their own personal daily lives!

SATAN’S CHARACTER TRANSFERRED

This is the essence of the image of the beast, which, by the way, is the very image of the Dragon, Satan.

.

Oh yes, don’t be fooled by the “good and moral message” often presented in these productions.

.

Because, mingled within are the very qualities of Satan: lust, sensual music, anger, hatred, revenge, greed, commonness, unholiness, impatience, materialism, pride, “foolish talk & jesting”, a pretentious ‘form of godliness’, and other similar qualities. (See Ephesians 5:4 & 2nd Timothy 3:5-7)

TOO POWERFUL TO RESIST!

But the main point of today’s devotional is that these productions are ever-increasingly powerful: too powerful for most people to resist, especially the young!

And with each passing day, these productions are getting even more overpowering than the previous day!

.

This is one reason why Habakkuk the Prophet warns Christians living in these last days to, “RUN!”

HABAKKUK SAYS, “RUN!”

.

Yes, the Book of Habakkuk was written especially for this very day, in which the Lord commands us…“And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision (of unbelievers surrounding God’s people), and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:2, 3

OVERWHELMING INFLUENCE

.

Yes, the Book of Habakkuk foretells of the day when, “the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.” Habakkuk 1:4

.

As this above verse foretells, the day is coming (and now is), when God’s people will be so overwhelmed by the corrupting power and influence of this unbelieving world, that they are commanded to flee!

“COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE!”

Of course, this is a parallel message to Revelation 18:4…“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

Here is the very same call: to make the end-time exodus out of Babylon (both the world & the world-loving apostate churches).

.

And so, because of the overwhelming power of today’s high-tech devices, God’s people are commanded to “RUN!”, as it says in Habakkuk, and to “Come out of her (spiritual Babylon), My people!”, as it says in Revelation 18:4.

WINTER CONSTELLATIONS

.

.

This most amazing phenomenon is seen throughout the winter. Although it can be observed most of the winter, it is seen best when it is the western part of the sky, at winter’s end (The end of winter being the final scene of this heavenly Gospel story). Orion , the Dragon, and the Glorious White Horse are beginning to descend into the western horizon (sketch to right is Winter Constellations descending into western horizon. This can actually be seen as early as December, in the pre-dawn hours).

.

And at this point it is apparent that the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation is veering toward the two bright stars, known as Castor and Pollux (sketch to left). But the Wide Gate Stars are composed of the two brightest stars of the Auriga Constellation, known as the star, Capella, and the star, Menkalinan. The two stars, Castor and Pollux, make up the concept of the Orion’s Narrow Gate Stars.

.

This can even be observed into June in the western sky (for a short time just after dark). While a dark night is best for seeing the Woman Constellation, the 4 stars which comprise the Narrow Gate/Wide Gate Stars can be seen even under mediocre conditions. It begins with the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation (AKA Ursa Major) going towards these two doors.

.

The sketch to left shows, the two doors are each composed of two bright stars. The two bright stars that comprise the Narrow Gate are the two brightest stars of the Orion the Reaper’s sickle. The two stars that comprise the ‘Wide Gate’ Stars are the two brightest stars of the wave of water that comes out of the Dragon Constellation’s mouth (for explanation of “Wave of Water”, just click here). The stars that make up the ‘Narrow Gate’ are about half the width of the Wide Gate (see sketch below left).

Whether we like it or not, the plain truth is that this world is Satan’s prison-house of sin and selfishness!

.

It is a type of prison island in which God has allowed the Devil to keep humanity under lock and key, so to speak.

.

You could say that we’re being held captive on this cosmic Devil’s Island!

.

Oh yes, God is very merciful, and has allowed us many pleasant things to enjoy.

.

But make no mistake! This world is Satan’s prison-house of sin and selfishness! A holding place where the rebels against Heaven must remain for a time.

THE CANCER OF SELFISHNESS 

.

When God created this world, it was part of a big beautiful universe in which unselfish love was to reign supreme. Mankind was given the most incredibly beautiful environment to live and thrive.

And yet, God knew that the cancer of selfishness had already begun in Heaven, and was about to move to this new world called Planet Earth. But God, not wanting this evil ideology to continue to fester and expand throughout the universe, allowed Planet Earth to become the grand stage for selfishness to fully manifest itself for all the cloud of witnesses throughout Heaven to observe.

And so, over the past millenniums of Planet Earth’s existence, selfishness, in all its various forms, has continued to thrive.

“SLAY THEM NOT, LEST MY PEOPLE FORGET”

And because God wants for all to fully realize the woeful and miserable results of selfishness, He has allowed the horrifying harvest of sin’s final reward to come into its fulness.

Oh yes, God could have intervened, preventing the woe and misery which results from selfishness. But had He done that, then this great experiment in sin would only cause the entire universe to join in the rebellion against Heaven.

“THE WHOLE CREATION GROANS…IN PAIN”

But, as we look around at this sad and tragic world, we can easily see that selfishness is not the way to true peace and contentment. No, everywhere we look, the world is groaning and mourning under the weight of sin’s wages.

Just look at all the robberies, all the violence, all the anger and hatred, all the foolish pride, all the disparity, the lust, the pushing and shoving, the filth, the acts of selfish disregard for others, the family discord, divorce, murders, rapes, kidnappings, slave-trading, unjust laws, sickness, suffering, loneliness, hopelessness, disease and finally…death for each and every one of us!

“THE PROSPERITY OF THE WICKED”

And these “fortunate” ones often seem to enjoy more than heart could wish, while a large segment of the world’s not-so-fortunate-ones suffer from lack of food, water, shelter, and poor health, disease and oppression from the violent and greedy ones of the earth.

Yes, the disparity in this world of selfishness is profound, to say the least!

.

Oh yes, many who have stored up earthly treasures are willing to allow the poor to, “eat the crumbs which fall from their table”, so to speak.

But very few of these prosperous ones are willing to follow the divine example which Jesus gave, as He forsook the riches of Heaven.

Yes, Jesus became poor, all for the sake of His self-sacrificing love for this poor, miserable and needy world.

And even many people of the world, who have seemingly “given all”, have done so out of impure motives, often for the sake of applause from the onlooking world.

TIME: THE GREAT EQUALIZER

.

But time is the Great Equalizer! And many of those who once enjoyed the riches and accolades of this world finally arrive at the day of recompense.

Oh yes, many simply die, leaving their riches behind. But many others suffer loss while still in the land of the living, for one reason or another. Divorce, disease, financial collapse, aging, loneliness, hopelessness, the loss of beauty, as well as countless other human tragedies, often steal away the riches and possessions from those formerly, “fortunate ones”, finally leaving them poor and destitute.

.

And many of those who suffer the loss of their earthly riches, eventually turn to the Lord, and are delighted to discover the true riches and joys of Heaven, as they become faithful followers of Jesus!

LOCATING THE DRAGON

REVELATION 12 DRAGON IS NOT DRACO!

First, let it be stated, that this Dragon Constellation is not the same constellation commonly referred to as “Draco” (photo to right is Draco).

.

This Revelation 12 Dragon from Signs Of Heaven, has not been previously recognized. But you will discover that it is a very intricate and complex constellation, once you are comfortable locating it (picture below, right).

LOCATION…

The Revelation 12 Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months. The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield. This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull. The Dragon’s tail-tip is Pleiades and the lower shaft of his tail is partly of Aries  and Pisces. Then with aid of a dark and starry night, you may begin to connect the mouth and the tail with a very long body in an oval shape. The front and back legs are made of a few stars: the front legs partially of stars from Taurus . The back legs and rear fin are made of 6 stars from the Cetus Constellation.

BODY HARD TO SEE

The long oval-shaped body has relatively few stars, but can been seen, howbeit with a dark, starry night. The four stars of the front fins are made partially of Taurus .

It is so common for we humans to be focused on this little life. But when we do this, it only magnifies the little trials we encounter.

Listen… 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward [man] is renewed day by day.
4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory;
4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal.  2nd Corinthians

.

This above passage puts our troubles in their proper perspective. In this light of eternity, this little life is nothing!

.

Just think about it! God is going to bring us into an everlasting Promised Land in which we will never suffer any longer!

Listen again… 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God.
21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.  Revelation

.

In this above passage, it is revealed that all the suffering and sorrow of this life will be forever banished in the world to come!

.

And so, in light of this, it behooves us to take our eyes off of this life and get focused on the things of Heaven!

.

Here again, the Lord is encouraging us to get our eyes off the things of this life, and keep our focus ever upward!
