He shall set me up upon a rock.

And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me:

therefore will I offer in His tabernacle sacrifices of joy;

I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.”

**The Ark of the Covenant was the centerpiece of the tabernacle sanctuary, during the years of the wilderness wanderings of the children of Israel, just prior to their entering into the Promised Land.**

“YE ARE…A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD”

.

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people;

that ye should show forth the praises of Him

who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light:”

1st Peter 2:9

We have been chosen to be, as Peter in the above verse put it, a “Royal Priesthood”.

.

Even the Book of Revelation testifies to this heavenly calling… “And (God) hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” Revelation 5:10.

.

Now as New Testament priests, there is no more brick-n-mortar temple.

.

No, today’s New Testament priestly action takes place in our heart.

.

We are now “the Temple of the Lord”…

.

Listen…“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you,

which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

For ye are bought with a price:

therefore glorify God in your body,

and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

1st Corinthians 6:19, 20.

“PRAY WITHOUT CEASING”

.

God has called us to be priests together with Christ.

.

We are to be co-laborers with Christ, pleading for the people. Scripture commands us to… “Pray without ceasing.” 1st Thessalonians 5:17.

.

As a Christian goes about his or her day, they are constantly praying and thanking the Lord, and interceding for others.

.

Listen again to this great encouragement…

SPIRITUAL THINGS REJECTED BY WORLD

For the people of the world, there could be nothing as boring and nothing as repugnant as becoming a priest unto God!

.

The natural man would recoil at “such a dreadful commission!”

.

And even when we first come into Christianity, the thought of being priests forever, is more than most of us could ever have the stomach for!

HOLY SPIRIT GIVES JOY

But herein is one of the greatest of all truths: that only by the indwelling of the Spirit of Holiness could we ever find joy in the thought of being members of an eternal priesthood!

But before the Reader recoils at this idea of being stuck in a room, let it be known that we who are of the royal priesthood will not be stuck in some brick-n-mortar building throughout eternity…

.

Listen…“Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool: ” Isaiah

.

No, all of Heaven will be our Sanctuary! And when we look up at Heaven, does it look like a boring place?

.

Not really!

.

Yes, many believe that we will be traveling priests, making each new place we visit into our “altar unto the Lord”. (Genesis 8:20, 12:7, 12:8, 13:18, 1st Chronicles, 21:18, 26, etc…)

SACRIFICES of JOY

But we should never think that service for God will be joyless and boring!

The Bible refutes this idea by affirming…

“therefore will I offer in His tabernacle sacrifices of joy;

I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.”

Psalm 27:6

.

Here we see that our offering in His tabernacle is the sacrifices of joy!

.

And from our heart, we are to sing praises unto the Lord!

FOR RIGHT HERE AND FOR RIGHT NOW!

Now all these precious promises are not only for eternity future!

.

No, our commission as royal priests begins right here and right now! That’s right! We don’t have to wait to become priests! We are to be priests for God on a 24/7/365 basis!

.

And as we go about our daily duties, our hearts are to be lifted up in silent prayer, praise, and thanksgiving! Yes, our eternity begins right now!

.

And though we are but a tabernacle in the wilderness of this dark world, we are to reflect the glorious light of Heaven to those around us!

.

Our light from within shines out as our witness to the world: a shining witness of the hopefulness of our Salvation!

AN INNER JOY!

.

Listen to another precious promise…

“Thou wilt show me the path of life:

in Thy presence is fulness of joy;

at Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

Psalm 16:11

Yes, even in our times of sadness, we can have that inner-joy, knowing that our time of this earthly sojourn will soon be over, and our future sojourn through the heavens will be forever and ever!

.

“And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord”

Ephesians 6:4

And speaking of joy, we must make sure to live with our family in such a way as to show them that Heaven is a place of joy!

.

And the parents need to show much heavenly love for their children. Whether engaging them in their little games and sports, or hugging them often, or just making life in the home nice and breezy.

.

This is an integral part of what it means to “bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord”

.

The Christian parents must, kindly, patiently, and gently, guide your children through their childhood in such a way which will cause them to desire, yes, even yearn, to walk side-by-side with you along the joy-filled highways and byways of eternity!

PRIESTHOOD BEGINS NOW!

So, let’s all take up our heavenly mantle and begin to walk through this thorn-strewn wilderness, ever lifting up our hands (spiritually) unto God, as we fulfill our great commission to be royal priests, offering up the continual, “sacrifices of joy!”

THE HOLY AND MOST HOLY PLACE

“And thou shalt put the Mercy Seat upon the Ark of the Testimony in the Most Holy Place.” Exodus 26:34

The Tabernacle in the wilderness was a picture of God. Just listen to Revelation… “And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.” Revelation 21:22.

.

So, instead of dwelling upon all the fine points of the earthly tabernacle, let it suffice to be said, this earthly tabernacle is merely a metaphor of God Himself. And the Most Holy Place is the heart of that temple, and upon the Ark, represents God’s throne, as is written…

.

“And David arose…to bring up from thence, the ark of God…the LORD of hosts that dwells between the cherubims.” 2nd Samuel 6:2.

.

So, if, as it states here, that God dwells “between the cherubims”, then this is speaking of the Mercy Seat over the Ark. But even though it speaks thus, we need to keep in mind that the temple itself, represents God Himself, as is written… “And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.” Revelation 21:22.

ARK SEEN IN HEAVEN

.

“And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of His testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.” Rev. 11:19

The above verse from Revelation, speaks of God’s Temple in Heaven being opened. But this great constellation, the Sagittarius Constellation is actually the constellation of the Ark of the Covenant. So these two events go hand in hand simultaneously. The Ark Constellation, as sketched into this Wikipedia star-chart, is a representation of the heavenly Ark, as God begins to open up the spiritual concepts of that true Ark to our minds.

Habakkuk Says “Run!”,

Part 15:

“How Antichrists Crept Into The Church!”

“Therefore the law is slacked,

and judgment doth never go forth:

for the wicked doth compass about the righteous;

therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.”

This above truth from Habakkuk presents an end-time scenario of church-wide apostasy, which precipitates the final announcement…“And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:2, 3

Here is foretold the day of apostasy in which God’s people are told by God to, “RUN!”

ITCHING EARS GOSPELS

Of course, the Apostle, Paul reiterates this same prophecy… “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth…But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. ” 2nd Timothy 4:3, 4 & 1st Timothy 6:11

So here again, God is forewarning us that the day will come when the churches and so-called denominations will end up in utter apostasy!

But how did this happen?

A WORLDLY APPEAL

.

The very simple answer of how and when this apostasy occurred is, that ever since the beginning of the church era, the Devil has been bringing in one false doctrine after another!

.

And yet in these end-times, Satan has stepped up his destruction of the churches, giving them such a worldly appeal, that even unbelievers are willing to join up and become regular members, much like some fraternal organization, howbeit with a thin veneer of religiosity.

.

A FASHIONABLE MAKE-OVER

.

What happened is, that some decades ago, erring church leaders began to give the churches a type of “make-over”, in hopes of attracting a greater number of parishioners.

.

And it worked! Yes, by making the worship services so charismatic and even fun, church became a non-threatening fraternal organization.

.

And so, the churches filled up with such attractions as fashionable music, comedy in the pulpits, social events, clubs, sports, movies, non-biblical holidays, plays, dances, the church-world, to a great extent becoming so inviting, that the people of the world began to attend.

.

A “DO-IT-YOURSELF” GOSPEL

.

And because the church-world has largely accepted the so-called, “Do-it-yourself free-will gospel”, parishioners were led to believe that merely saying the Sinner’s Prayer, or water-baptism, or church-attendance, etc., proved they had become saved.

“…SUPPOSING THAT GAIN IS GODLINESS: FROM SUCH WITHDRAW THYSELF”

And combined with the current-day prosperity-driven gospels being preached, church attendance was now absolutely painless!

.

All that was now required was a certain level of moral behavior, and some degree of personal religiosity and, “Voila! I’m now a saved and sanctified soul!”

.

A SOCIAL/FRATERNAL CLUB

.

And so, what we are now seeing is a church-world which is little more than a religious version of some fraternal organization: weddings, funerals, baby-showers, social events, sports, movie-night, picnics, outings, car-washes, game nights, family nights, camping trips, holidays, dances, plays, breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, school events, all working together to make modern-day church membership very appealing to the unsanctified multitudes.

A WORLD-LOVING GOSPEL

.

And thus, the church has filled up with worldly-minded parishioners who now demand a non-threatening gospel, void of the offence of the self-sacrificing Cross of Christ.

Now, these Antichrist wolves in sheep’s clothing become active members of the church, holding various offices, and determining the level of religiosity tolerated, preached, and lived by, in that particular local congregation.

.

And sadly, because these world-loving social/fraternal organizations have no intention of repenting, God has withdrawn His Holy Spirit, causing a void in those bodies, which has been filled by Satan as he comes as an “angel of light” along with his, “ministers of righteousness”. (see 2nd Corinthians 11:14, 15)

.

But God is faithful to His elect ones, and is currently calling His people to “Come out of her, My people, lest ye partake not of her sins and that ye receive not of her plagues” Revelation 18:4

And so, the call now goes out to join this end-time exodus out of the apostate church community.

And God is desiring to finally have a purified people who fully live by the pure and uncompromised Word of God.

but we shall all be changed,

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:

for the trumpet shall sound,

“…they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction”

2nd Peter 3:16

The historical records give Cyrus I. Scofield credit for popularizing this false doctrine of the “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”, first invented by another 19th-century false Bible teacher, one John Darby of The Plymouth Brethren denomination.

.

What Scofield and Darby did, was to presumptuously take the two words from 1st Thessalonian 4:17, the words, “caught up”, and their Greek counterpart, “harpazo”, and changed “harpazo” into its Latin counterpart, “ripere”, (taken from an obscure Catholic Latin Bible), which is the Latin root for another English word, “rapture”, which, originally, was most commonly defined as being “in a state of euphoria”. Then, they morphed “caught up”, a verb into a proper name, “The Rapture”.

.

Thus, by such heretical wrestling with Scripture, Scofield/Darby then began to promote the idea that Christ would “rapture” His Church out of the world, just prior to the prophecies of Revelation being fulfilled.

“So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation”

Hebrews 9:28

And so, by such twisting of Scripture, Scofield/Darby now invented TWO second “Coming(s) of the Lord”, instead of the Biblical pronouncement of only one! And thus was coined the name, “The Pretribulation Rapture”, and the second return, using the God-given name for the event, “The Coming of the Lord” on “the last day”.

.

Consequently, the Christian world was now being taught that there were, not one, but TWO separate returns of Christ! And if you missed out on the Christ’s first return, you now would have a second chance!

.

“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump…”

1st Corinthians 15:51

.

In the previous devotional on The Pre-Tribulation Raptu re (click here), the host of a popular radio Bible call-in question talk show, was asked the following question: “When it says that the Lord shall return “at the last trumpet”, how can this possibly be speaking of a so-called Pre-Tribulation Rapture? After all, there are 7 trumpets way back in Revelation, Chapter 11, when this so-called Pre-Tribulation Rapture is supposed to happen in Chapter 4?”

GOING TO OUTSIDE SOURCES

.

Well, the radio talk-show host explained that according to history books, there were “other trumpets” which were blown at different times.

.

Now do you see what just happened here? This talk-show host, who constantly affirms his faith in, “the Bible only”, and in the “infallibility of the Bible”, just went to outside historical secular sources to find “another set of trumpets”.

.

Incredible?

.

A TRUMPET ON THE LAST DAY

.

But this radio talk-show host completely ignored another proof-text concerning the last trumpet found in Matthew 24:29-31… “Immediately after the tribulation of those days…they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He shall send His angels WITH A GREAT SOUND OF A TRUMPET, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”

.

This above passage is clearly speaking of the Last Day when Christ returns, and yet it speaks of Christ sounding a trumpet.

THE PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE FOLLY

.

So how in the world can our signature passage of the day, from 1st Corinthians 15:51, 52 be referring to the last trumpet?

.

After all, Matthew 24:29-31 also speaks of a trumpet, which supposedly sounds 7 years AFTER that “last trumpet” of 1st Corinthians 15:51, 52?

.

It doesn’t make sense, does it?

.

But Matthew 24:29-31 merely exposes the folly concerning this non-biblical man-contrived doctrine known as “The Pre-Tribulation Rapture”.

.

WRESTLING WITH SCRIPTURE

.

Well, all this confusion begins to make sense when we read 1st Peter 3:16… “they that are unlearned and unstable wrest(le), as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.”

Yes, when those in the apostate church-world begin to teach some false doctrine, then begins the wrestling match, as they feverishly try to twist other scriptures in hopes of attaining some level of agreement between related scriptures which obviously refute their false doctrine.

.

And this is what theologians must do to defend this totally unbiblical doctrine with the man-contrived name, “The Rapture”.

.

REACHING OUTSIDE OF THE BIBLE

Well, as already mentioned, this talk show host attempted to lawlessly add to God’s infallible Word a set of “different” trumpets found in some history book.

.

**So, in other words, when 1st Corinthians 15:52 speaks of “The Last Trumpet” it must be speaking of those “other trumpets” mentioned in those history books.**

.

And so, this misguided talk show host presents a classic case of what 1st Peter 3:16 refers to as “wrestling” with the scriptures.

.

And this wrestling with Scripture, is just one more reason why God is calling His people out of “The City of Confusion”, mystery Babylon…“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4

.

Yes, this entire false doctrine concerning the so-called Pre-Tribulation Rapture is just one more heresy among many, which the apostate church-world teaches.

And this is why there is an end-time exodus occurring away from the harlot churches!

perilous times shall come.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves,

covetous, boasters, proud…

lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God…

Having a form of godliness,

but denying the power thereof:

from such turn away.”

2nd Timothy 3:1, 2, 4, 5

**In the companion article on September 13th, “The Pharisees of Prosperity” (click here), it was put forth that some of today’s churches have a form of godliness akin to the Pharisees of old.**

Oh no, today’s Phariseeism does not require special schooling or a uniform religious dress code.

Nevertheless, the same proud morality still exists, howbeit now cloaked in a “New Testament” garb.

“HAVING A FORM OF GODLINESS”

2nd Timothy 3:5

And because the strict rules and religious forms of these modern-day Pharisees look so close to true Christianity, the multitudes of church attendees are mostly deceived into thinking that God is still blessing those congregations.

“FOR THE MYSTERY OF INIQUITY DOTH ALREADY WORK…”

2nd Thessalonians 2:7

But the fact is, the Holy Spirit has been taken out of the midst of today’s churches and denominations, largely because of the prosperity-driven gospels now being preached in this decadent, hedonistic, cornucopian super-society!

.

And to fill that void left by the vacated Holy Spirit, the Abomination of Desolation has moved in with “all power, signs and lying wonders”, to, “deceive if possible even the very elect!” (see 2nd Thessalonians 2:2, 9 & Matthew 24:24)

But today’s devotional is focusing on another group of persons who resisted the words of Jesus during the days of His earthly ministry: the Sadducees.

.

“BEWARE OF THE LEAVEN OF THE…SADDUCEES”

Matthew 16:6, 16

.

Yes, the Sadducees were another sect of the Jews.

.

But instead of being zealous for the law and the power of God as were the Pharisees, the Sadducees were somewhat faithless.

.

Oh yes, they had a certain amount of morality.

.

And yet, they doubted God’s power and promises. They didn’t believe in angels, nor in the resurrection of the redeemed! This class of Jews were held in bondage to their unbelief!

.

They were the ‘deists’ of their day.

“O YE OF LITTLE FAITH!”

(see Luke 12:21-32)

And so it is today! So much of the current-day church-world faithfully attends weekly services.

.

And yet, they have little faith that living a Christlike life can fulfill their needs, or bring them peace and contentment, and true joyful living!

.

And so, they “heap to themselves teachers having itching ears” who will preach a non-threatening prosperity-driven gospel which allows them to hang on to the tinsel-like treasures and earthy pleasures of this, the Devil’s world! (see 2nd Timothy 4:3, 4)

“FOR WITH THEIR MOUTH THEY SHOW MUCH LOVE, BUT THEIR HEART GOES AFTER THEIR COVETOUSNESS!”

Thus, week after week, these sadly deceived ones continue to attend church, and maintain a certain level of morality.

.

And yet, these deceived souls return from their Sabbath morning worship only to spend the next six days going headlong and wholeheartedly after the gods of this world: materialism, ambitious & proud careers, copious TV watching, various amusements, surfing the Internet for worldly desires, lavish houses, gardens, vehicles, weekly excursions, sports, hobbies, gratuitous shopping, constant restauranting, pleasure crafts, clubs, parties, holidays, and a host of similar pursuits. In other words, they have found what is commonly referred to as, “The America Dream”.

“…THE FIRE THAT SAYS NOT, ‘IT IS ENOUGH!'”

Proverbs 30:16

Oh, it’s not that a little bit of some of these above-mentioned pursuits cannot be okay.

.

But the carnal human heart has a fire burning within, usually causing these desires to multiply until our devotion to God becomes eclipsed by an overwhelming host of worldly pursuits and earthy passions. (see Luke 21:34-36 & Proverbs 30:15, 16)

.

“TOUCH NOT; TASTE NOT; HANDLE NOT!”

And so, instead of a moment-by-moment faith-walk, all such sadly deceived ones attempt to merely live by a certain degree of morality.

They may stay away from the most awful TV shows.

.

They might even work hard at their careers.

.

They don’t drink, or smoke, or cuss.

.

They claim to believe the Bible only.

.

They say their prayers, and even do a daily Bible study.

.

They may attend Revelation seminars. They may serve on committees down at church.

.

They look at every little misfortune as their tribulational attack by Satan.

“HIS ENEMY CAME & SOWED TARES AMONG THE WHEAT”

Matthew 13:25

And yet in truth, they are actually tares!

.

Howbeit, their very moral and religious lives make them outwardly appear to the onlooking world as genuine wheat! (see Matthew 13:24-30)

.

And they vainly imagine that their prosperous and proud attainments will attract lost souls into their church. And by their earth-loving example, Satan attracts even more self-seekers into the churches!

.

Nevertheless, to any truth-seeking soul, their world-loving lives are powerful testimony that they are void of true communion with God!

MORALITY: JUST A “FORM OF GODLINESS”

2nd Timothy 3:5

.

Jesus says…“So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be My disciple.”

.

As this above verse reveals, it is impossible to be a true disciple of Jesus, while still clinging to the proud and ambitious pursuits and the selfish pleasures of this present fallen world!

.

And no amount of correct behavior and morality is sufficient to secure a true relationship with Jesus!

.

**On the other hand, the true people of God have left this ‘City of Destruction’ world (in heart), and are walking upward on the pilgrim’s pathway to the ‘Celestial City of God’!**

The world is behind them! Heaven is before them!

Their gaze is fixed ever-upward!

The things of the world have grown strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace!

They seek to walk by faith according to every Word of Jesus!

And they faithfully submit themselves to God’s often painful daily chastening (read Psalm 73).

“GOOD NEWS” IN A SADD(UCEE) WORLD!

And the very Good News is that today is still the day of Salvation!

And whosoever will, can begin to cry out for God’s grace, and continue to do so until the bright beams of Heaven begin to shine in that Salvation-seeker’s hungering soul!

THE SEEKER (THE SADDUCEE)

.

LOCATING THIS 3RD FACE

.

The 3rd face of the Moon is a bit more difficult to locate, because it is mostly upside down. But this photo and this sketch (below right) are how this face would appear if it was turned right side up. (In the southern hemisphere, however, this is how the full Moon actually appears.)

.

The 3rd face is the most difficult to see in the northern hemisphere, but once you do, it then becomes easy. This face is like a furry creature of the field. Maybe a rabbit. Maybe a squirrel. Perhaps a chipmunk. Probably a mouse. All “seekers”; all foragers and scavengers.

.

And while this picture shows this little “beast of the field” right side up, this 3rd face is always pretty much in an upside-down position.

.

The other two faces appear right-side-up, and are easier to locate. This photo and this sketch are both turned around to help you see this 3rd face easily. LOCATING 3rd FACE AT BEGINNING OF NIGHT

But this sketch here to the right is how this 3rd face actually appears when the Full Moon is in the east, at the beginning of night, in the northern hemisphere. But all you can readily see is this 1st face.

.

What you must do to see the 3rd face is to tilt your head to the right, 90 degrees.

.

Do you see it? (You may find it easier if you just turn your screen on its left side, if you are using a laptop. But please don’t do anything to put your computer in jeopardy!)

.

The easiest time of the month to actually see this face is when the Full Moon is in the east, just after dark. It then can be seen by tilting your head 90 degrees to the right. But as night progresses, the Moon rotates clockwise, until this face is completely upside down, as the Moon works its way to the west.

Let’s face it! We live in a very highly sexualized world today!

.

Like never before in history, mankind is able to market and distribute sexualized literature and images, via television and high-tech devices.

.

A SEXUALLY CHARGED SOCIETY

.

But even in department stores, sensual images in the form of advertising signs, are now displayed nearly everywhere!

.

As we drive our cars, the radio often plays highly sexualized music, with lyrics that would never have been allowed to air in decades past.

But what about Christian parents?

.

Are Christian parents guarding their children from exposure to all this sensuality?

TELEVISION AND THE IMAGE THAT SPEAKS

One area in which the god of this world, Satan, works very deceptively and very cunningly to draw our children into Hell, is through the television.

.

And don’t suppose for a moment that Satan is some sort of a dummy!

.

No, Satan is just as subtle as he was in the Garden, maybe even more so!

.

SENSUAL CARTOONS

.

For instance, his subtlety is seen in how Satan has designed children’s cartoons to be a progressive downward pathway to destruction.

.

Yes, for the very young, many cartoons seem to be the very essence of innocence!

.

And the concerned Christian parent may search for the nicest and most moral cartoons as possible.

.

SEEMINGLY INNOCENT CARTOONS

.

Well, Satan understands all this and merely creates various cartoons to be just that!

.

Some cartoons even include educational moments!

.

And so, the naive Christian parent sets the young child in front of the TV, confident that the child will be learning as they are watching.

.

But what these parents do not realize is that Satan is merely conditioning these very young children to become TV addicts!

.

DOWNHILL PROGRESSION

.

And as the child gets a little older, the educational cartoons become increasingly scarce.

.

And on and on it goes, until all that is available are worthless, silly cartoons, or even worse!

“CHRISTIAN” CARTOONS

.

Even shows which have a form of Christianity are often designed to inspire unbelief in the child.

.

Maybe they show Jonah sitting at a table with chair, IN THE BELLY OF THE WHALE!

Or Noah’s Ark is so small that it could only hold several animals.

.

Or God sitting on a cloud with a telescope, looking down at the world.

.

And children are not as naïve as parents might imagine, and see such nonsense, and eventually become unbelievers!

.

HELLISH DESCENT

.

In other words, the older the child gets, the worse things get, as far as the television is concerned.

.

And nowadays, many cartoons are getting really sensual!

.

And this is also a gradual downward progression.

.

Today, the cartoon characters are often created to look and move very sensually.

.

But before long the cartoons get even worse!

.

REAPING THE WHIRLWIND

And little by little, Satan takes our children further and further into immorality, until the child reaches puberty.

And all of a sudden, the child blooms into a full-blown sexualized teenager. And the Christian parents are puzzled as to what happened.

.

Christian parents, don’t let this happen to you!

.

If at all possible, get rid of the television, before it’s too late! And get rid of those high-tech devices that most of today’s younger generation are so easily addicted to!

GOOD NEWS!

.

The Good News is, that we have a merciful God.

.

And if the Christian parent has lost control over his or her household, there is still hope!

Yes, by making a complete surrender, and living the rest of one’s life to wholeheartedly serve the Lord, that Christian may one day see his or her children in Heaven!

.

Oh yes, the road ahead may be rocky and rough.

THE SWINE: “LUST OF THE FLESH”

“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” 1st John 2:16

This article will introduce this third beast-like face, inscribed in the Moon: a swine. And it will be shown that the three beast-like faces in the Moon, represent the concept taught in the above verse concerning “the lust of the flesh…the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life”.

It has become apparent that the second face in the Moon, besides appearing as a wolf-like beast, also appears as a Swine. Let’s explore this concept, for a moment. First of all, when a person sees the second face up in the sky, it’s arguable whether or not it looks like a swine. But it must be conceded that the photos do indeed make it appear as if this character has a “sawed-off” snout like a swine. And of course, a swine is spoken of quite frequently in Scripture.

“GRACE ABOUNDING TO THE CHIEF OF SINNERS”

John Bunyan, the author of the earth-shaking allegorical tale, “Pilgrim’s Progress”, seems to have caught the essence of the meaning behind clean and unclean beasts. He saw why God made a distinction based on the feet as well as the diet of these beasts, as stated in the following Bible verse…

“Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth… Nevertheless… the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.” Leviticus 11:2,4,7

.

Why did God makes the feet and the diet of the beasts of the earth the criterion for this distinction between clean and unclean beasts? How odd!

God is now calling His people to join in an end-time exodus out of Babylon.

.

Yes, just as Noah and his family got on-board that Ark back in the days of the great flood, so too, another ark is about to leave Planet Earth, bound for Heaven!

.

And so, God is now calling for His people to…“Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4

.

So, just what is this end-time exodus all about?

Well, concisely put, God is calling His people to forsake this doomed planet and get on-board a spiritual journey toward the Heavenly City!

But today’s devotional is given as an encouragement to pack light for this trip!

For example, all passengers should discard all Babylonian possessions such as the vain amusements of this present world.

There will be much more wonderful pastimes to enjoy where we are going!

NO FOOLISH TALK OR JESTING!

Ephesians 5:4

And don’t bother to bring along all the joking and jesting and vain conversations so greatly cherished and adored by this giddy Babylonian world!

.

All such foolish talk and jesting will have no place in the world to come!

.

All the love, joy, and peace, etc., we shall be filled with, will be far more than enough to compensate for the once-cherished idols that must be left behind from this unkind and sarcastic world!

“DAY OF THE LORD UPON…ALL PLEASANT PICTURES!”

Listen…“For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty…and upon all pleasant pictures.” Isaiah 2:12, 16

And so, please don’t bring any of those pleasant pictures which the Babylonian dream-machine churns out on a daily basis.

No, don’t bring all the lofty and ambitious careers, the exotic vacation resorts, the proud and sensual music, the world-exalting television shows, the dressing up for operas and plays, the Romeo/Juliet make-believe romances, the hoards of silver & gold, the enviable and beautiful world-renowned celebrities, all the coveted pleasure vehicles, the high fashions, and the posh and exclusive restaurants, and all the countless other alluring pleasures and proud pursuits which that old Babylonian Dream-Maker creates to hold his captives in bondage and servitude to sin and selfishness!

.

No, this heaven-bound Ark has no room for all the glittering tinsel-like trinkets, treasures, and gilded memorabilia from Babylon-the-Great, the doomed City of Destruction!

.

BRING ALONG ALL THOSE HEAVENLY TREASURES!

But all passengers are encouraged to bring with them, those everlasting treasures which they stored up when sojourning in this dark and sad world: the treasures of Agape Love for lost souls, the tearful prayers for friends and loved-ones who have long spurned the invitations to come aboard this Ark voyage!

.

And don’t forget to pack the patience, experience, wisdom and hope which grew out of the many trials and tribulations which were so faithfully endured during our painfully long earthly sojourn!

.

LOCATING THIS GROUP…

These two sketches below are the same picture, one with stars only, the other with embellishments. These stars appear more or less like this when they are in the western sky, just before they sink below the western horizon (please excuse the less-than 100% accurate sketch). At the top of the sketches in the center is the Big Dipper. But with other surrounding stars, the Big Dipper is known as Ursa Major or the Great Bear. But as this website points out, Ursa Major is actually the Revelation 12 Woman. (Ursa Major appears much larger in the sky than this sketch shows. But in order to fit her into this drawing, the artist had to depict her much smaller)

IN THE WEST

This most amazing phenomenon is seen throughout the winter, and even into June at the beginning of night. It is seen best when it is the western part of the sky. Orion, the Dragon, and the Glorious Horse are beginning to descend into the western horizon. And at this point it is apparent that the Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation is veering toward the Narrow Gate Stars as you can see just to the left of the mountain. A dark night is best for seeing this. It begins with the Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation going towards these two doors. The doors are each composed of two bright stars. The two bright stars that comprise the Narrow Gate are the two brightest stars of the Orion the Reaper’s sickle. The two stars that comprise the Wide Gate Stars (to the right of the mountain) are the two brightest stars of the Wave of Water (AKA Auriga Constellation) that comes out of the Dragon Constellation’s mouth (for explanation of “Wave of Water”, just click here). The stars that make up the Narrow Gate are about one-third less the width of the Wide Gate. The two bright stars which symbolize the Wide Gate are Capella and Menkalinan. had power to give life unto the image of the (1st) beast,

that the image of the (1st) beast should both speak,

THE ERA OF THE FALSE PROPHET

.

Never before in the history of mankind has there been an image that can speak, until the advent of television and movies.

.

But lo and behold, the Bible, 2,000 years ago, accurately predicted the day when a talking image would finally arrive on the world-stage!

.

Listen…“And he (The False Prophet, the 2nd Beast) had power to give life unto the image of the (1st) beast, that the image of the (1st) beast should both speak…”

.

This above verse reveals that Satan would invent a talking image!

.

TV: ADVOCATE FOR SIN

And proof-positive that this image is the sinister invention of Satan, is that this talking image is, by no means, a benign and harmless dispensary of entertainment.

All one needs to do is to merely sit down and take note whenever a television show (or movie) promotes sin in one form or another!

This above verse from Revelation 13:11, speaks of the 2nd Beast of Revelation, which Chapter 19 and 20 both refer to as “The False Prophet”. And this False Prophet has “two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon”.

Although television has always spoken as a dragon, promoting Satan’s selfish character, the mainstream media has recently become increasingly hateful, racist, and demonizing all those who decry the bottomless abyss of immorality which western societies are currently sinking into.

And today’s media, although still trying to maintain a degree of its own false goodness, has increasingly mounted a verbal attack upon Christians, and even upon secular moralists. And so, it has become more evident that the False Prophet is speaking as the satanic Dragon that he actually is!

It’s just that secularists don’t realize that without the indwelling Spirit of Christ, they are easy prey for Satan to work in them to divide and destroy all those who stand in the way of his plan to turn this world into his totalitarian and hate-filled mind-control weapon against Christ and His people.

But today’s media has the ability to, not only promote sin in its various forms, but can actually dress sin up to look really great!

HEAVENLY ROLE-MODELS or HELLISH ROLE MODELS?

As most everyone in the Christian community understands, the Bible uses not only Jesus, but mere mortals, such as Paul, to be role-models for Christians to admire and emulate.

But Lucifer, now called Satan, fully understand this, and has given us his own role-models, for us to conform to. And now, with the advent of television, radio, the printed page, advertising signage, and high-tech devices, like never before this Master-Destroyer has perfected his mind-control machinery in which to conform the world into his own selfish image!

And so, the many ‘superstars’ seen and adored by the lost multitudes on a daily basis, become firmly etched upon the tables of the human hearts of all those adoring fans of these ‘ministers of (Satan’s counterfeit) righteousness’!

And as a result, they eventually begin to emulate them, to some degree, in their own personal daily lives!

WINTER CONSTELLATIONS

.

This most amazing phenomenon is seen throughout the winter. Although it can be observed most of the winter, it is seen best when it is the western part of the sky, at winter’s end (The end of winter being the final scene of this heavenly Gospel story). Orion , the Dragon, and the Glorious White Horse are beginning to descend into the western horizon (sketch to right is Winter Constellations descending into western horizon. This can actually be seen as early as December, in the pre-dawn hours).

.

And at this point it is apparent that the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation is veering toward the two bright stars, known as Castor and Pollux (sketch to left). But the Wide Gate Stars are composed of the two brightest stars of the Auriga Constellation, known as the star, Capella, and the star, Menkalinan. The two stars, Castor and Pollux, make up the concept of the Orion’s Narrow Gate Stars.

.

This can even be observed into June in the western sky (for a short time just after dark). While a dark night is best for seeing the Woman Constellation, the 4 stars which comprise the Narrow Gate/Wide Gate Stars can be seen even under mediocre conditions. It begins with the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation (AKA Ursa Major) going towards these two doors.

.

The sketch to left shows, the two doors are each composed of two bright stars. The two bright stars that comprise the Narrow Gate are the two brightest stars of the Orion the Reaper’s sickle. The two stars that comprise the ‘Wide Gate’ Stars are the two brightest stars of the wave of water that comes out of the Dragon Constellation’s mouth (for explanation of “Wave of Water”, just click here). The City of Morality,

Part 6: “The Pharisees of Prosperity”

When Lucifer deceived and tempted Planet Earth into sin, God mercifully provided a way back from damnation and death.

.

And so, there became just two choices for mankind:

.

1. Continue on in sin and suffer the wages of sin: “death”.

.

2. Or return to the beckoning arms of Jesus, and to the ways of Heaven

.

SATAN, THE MASTER OF CONFUSION!

.

But now, having given rulership over Mankind, Lucifer knew well, that such a simple choice would make it far too easy for fallen, erring humans to return to God.

.

**And so, Lucifer, now called Satan, set about to create a world-system in which a “form of godliness, without the power thereof” would give his kingdom of sinful selfishness a nice glossy sheen!**

“AFTER ALL, I’M NOT SO BAD!”

And thus, the inhabitants of Earth would be deceived into thinking that this world was “a pretty good place”.

Oh yes, wickedness still existed here. But the human mind is very deceitful and self-justifying.

And we humans think “Well, I’m a pretty good person, and not like those bad guys over there!”

SATAN BLURRED THE LINE!

And so, the choice now became beclouded.

Thanks to Satan, the dividing line between good and evil now became very indistinct and extremely murky.

ONCE AGAIN HE BLURRED THE LINE

Well, let’s “fast forward” to the church-era.

.

Yes, in the last two millenniums of Earth’s history, God has established the Church.

.

And once again, the choice became clear: either join the Church, or remain in a lost spiritual condition in this fallen world.

.

But Satan knew that such a choice was far too easy to make!

.

And so, once again he set about to becloud the choice by creeping into the church-world via “Christian” impostors. (see Jude 1:4)

.

CHURCH-WORLD NO LONGER TOLERATES SOUND DOCTRINE

And now in this very last hour of Earth’s history, Satan has successfully infiltrated the church-world to the point that the following prophecy of Paul has been fulfilled…“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;” 2nd Timothy 4:3

.

Yes, the church-world has reached that day in which the itching ears have filled up the various churches and denominations to the point that any truth preached is now mingled with and defiled by the prosperity-driven gospel (and other false doctrines).

PROSPERITY-DRIVEN GOSPELS

Oh yes, this prosperity-driven gospel takes on several different forms, ranging from the so-called “Name-it-and-claim-it” churches to the more conservative form known as, “The Entreprenurial-Spirit”, or “The American Dream”.

.

Either way, liberal or conservative, the end result is the same: a church filled with parishioners who attempt to have Jesus in one hand and this selfish world in the other hand!

.

In other words, these modern-day prosperity-driven gospels give lip-service to Jesus, yet encouraging their members (either by word or by bad-example) to pursue the earthy pleasures and/or the proud, ambitious pursuits of this, the Devil’s selfish world-system!

.

AN OUTWARD MORALITY

.

Now what does all this have to do with Phariseeism?

.

Well, simply put, Phariseeism is merely the spirit of human pride, and largely manifested in outward morality.

.

And Satan attempts to deceive even the very Elect (true Christians) via all the proud, moralistic behavior now exhibited in today’s church-world!

.

A COUNTERFEIT GOSPEL

.

And so, in the current-day church-world, it is not uncommon to see many prayers, and much Bible-readings, and the often singing of hymns.

.

After all, the Bible does warn us that the False Prophet will come, “Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,” 2nd Thessalonians 2:9

.

Therefore, this above verse reveals that Satan and his “ministers of righteousness” (who comprise the long-foretold False Prophet) will come with counterfeit “power, signs and lying wonders, to deceive if possible, even the very Elect” people of God! (see 2nd Thessalonians 2:9 & Matthew 24:24)

.

SUBSTITUTE PROGRAMS

And so, it shouldn’t surprise Christians that today’s itching-ears gospels are filled with great light and much truth, howbeit a counterfeit light, and a compromised truth!

That’s right! Many churches today have a pharisean morality about them: such things as prophecy seminars, health seminars, Creation seminars, prayer meetings, etc…

.

SELF-ABASEMENT

And some of today’s churches even go beyond normal morality, attempting to deny the flesh!

.

Even the Apostle, Paul warns Christians against being…“subject to ordinances, ‘Touch not; taste not; handle not’…Which things have indeed a show (outward display) of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body;” Colossians 2:20, 21, 23

.

In other words, Phariseeism can even go to the extremes which are often witnessed in various false gospels whose members practice a very self-denying form of worship and lifestyle.

“A FORM OF GODLINESS”

Quite often, these false gospels become very exclusive, seclusive, and very critical of all outsiders.

.

They may even have some type of uniform dress-codes.

.

But no matter what degree of morality is practiced from congregation to congregation, the fundamental spirit behind all such morality is the spirit of Phariseeism which simply put is, “human pride”.

.

It is the outward display of self-righteous behavior in effort to impress others.

.

It is the product of foolish human pride manifested in an outward display of pretentious and counterfeit self-righteousness.

THE GOOD NEWS!

The Good News amid all this negativity is that there exists a true goodness!

And this true goodness is now being offered to each and every member of the human race! Yes, the gift of Salvation is now available to any and every willing recipient who begins to follow Jesus by faith on an upward, Heavenward journey to the Celestial City of God!

.

And instead of a mere outward display of moral behavior, Jesus can come and live out His life through each and every Heaven-bound pilgrim, as he or she walks that narrow pathway (comprised of every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God!)

“The Christian Fraternity House”

In John Bunyan’s earth-shaking tale, Pilgrim’s Progress, the main character, Christian, was on his way to the Celestial City, to get that great Burden off his back (the burden of sin).

.

But on that way, he met up with a fellow named Worldly Wiseman, who informed Christian that such an arduous journey was not necessary.

.

He told Christian that all he needed was to go to the Village of Morality!

.

THE VILLAGE IS NOW A HUGE CITY!

And so it is today!

.

**Only this Village called Morality is now a full-grown city!**

.

Yes, a great portion of today’s Christendom has become just that! The City of Morality!

.

And there are many Christians who, like Bunyan’s pilgrim, have been duped by that old deceiver, Worldly Wiseman!

.

Oh yes, wouldn’t you know it! Worldly Wiseman is still around!

.

And still, he’s busily misdirecting simple-minded Christians into going to the City of Morality instead of continuing onward and upward to Zion, the City of God!

“ITCHING EARS” GOSPELS

.

Now concerning this apostate spiritual condition of today’s churches, the Apostle, Paul made the following prophecy… “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth,” 2nd Timothy 4:3, 4

.

So here, God is forewarning us that the day will come when the churches and so-called denominations will end up in utter apostasy!

FALSE DOCTRINES

But how did this happen?

.

Just how and when did this apostasy occur?

.

The very simple answer is, that ever since the beginning of the church era, the Devil has been bringing in one false doctrine after another!

.

HOLY SPIRIT REPLACED BY COUNTERFEIT SPIRIT

.

And yet in these end-times, Satan has even more aggressively stepped up his deadly assault on the churches.

.

And this Master Deceiver has been giving them such a worldly appeal, that even abject unbelievers are willing to join up and become regular members.

.

Thus these earthly-minded congregations have now devolved into a mere worldly, fraternal organization, howbeit with a thin veneer of religiosity.

.

And ultimately, the Holy Spirit was finally taken out of the way, as it was foretold in 2nd Thessalonians 2:7, 8, 9… “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way…And then shall that Wicked be revealed…with all power and signs and lying wonders,”

.

Yes, Satan has moved into the churches and is now counterfeiting the workings of the true Holy Spirit, with “all power, signs and lying wonders!”

HIP AND TRENDY CHURCHES

.

What happened is, that some decades ago, erring church leaders began to give the churches a type of fashionable “make-over”, in hopes of attracting a greater number of parishioners.

.

And it worked! Yes, by making the worship services so charismatic and even fun, the denominations and local congregations became non-threatening fraternal/social organizations.

.

THE SO-CALLED “FREE-WILL GOSPEL”

.

And because the church-world has largely accepted a so-called, “Do-it-yourself free-will gospel”, parishioners were led to believe that merely saying the Sinner’s Prayer, or by water-baptism, or church-attendance, etc., proved they had become saved.

.

And combined with the current-day prosperity-driven gospels now being preached, church attendance was absolutely painless!

.

All that was now required was a certain level of moral behavior, and some degree of personal religiosity and, “Voila! I’m a saved and sanctified soul!”

.

A CHRISTIAN FRATERNITY

.

And so, what we are now seeing, is a church-world devolved into little more than a religious version of some fraternal organization: weddings, funerals, baby-showers, social events, sports events, movie-nights, picnics, outings, car-washes, game nights, family nights, holidays, plays, dances, sensual-fashionable-music-sing-a-longs, breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, school events, beside their personal Mammon-seeking lives, all working together to make modern-day church membership very appealing to unsanctified multitudes in the world.

.

And by this huge metamorphosis, they have finally transformed church-going into a harmless fraternal club, serving up a watered-down gospel as a weekly complement to their world-loving lives (howbeit, all this being void of the “offence of the Cross” of the self-sacrificing Christ. Galatians 5:11).

FRATERNITIES OK FOR THE WORLD?

.

Now for the world, being a member of a fraternal club may not be such a bad thing!

.

And today’s fraternal organizations may indeed be filled with nice, friendly, and moral people.

.

But for the Church to become a social/fraternal club?

.

That’s an entirely different matter!

.

TRANSFORMED!

.

Rather, the purpose of the local congregations was to provide a safe-place for the encouragement to fully engage in the daily transformation of the soul, into the glorious image of Christ.

.

Listen to Paul…“My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you…” Galatians 4:19

.

In this above verse, Paul was extremely concerned that Christians would be deceived and seduced back into the world, leaving them destitute of true holiness, thus becoming spiritually bankrupt!

WOLVES IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING

.

And so, because the worldly-minded are now coming by droves into today’s family-friendly and fashionable congregations, these unconverted church members have unwittingly become “fair game” for Satan to transform them into “wolves in sheep’s clothing”.

.

And as active members of the church, these false brethren now began to hold various church offices, thus empowering themselves to determine and relegate their own low level of religiosity to be preached (and lived by) in that particular local congregation.

.

“COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE!”

Well, here is one more great reason why God now considers today’s world-loving churches and local congregations to be Babylon.

.

And He is now calling His people to make an end-time exodus out of these apostate organizations and flee to the spiritual Mount Sion!

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4

“The Powerful Influence of Daily Associations“

and judgment doth never go forth:

for the wicked doth compass about the righteous;

therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.”

Habakkuk 1:4

.

This above verse from the Prophet, Habakkuk, holds the key to understanding the Book of Habakkuk.

.

Yes, the Book of Habakkuk, though immersed in allegorical symbols, is a book which explains so much of the Bible.

.

But God has so greatly embedded the various truths within those allegorical symbols, that it must be carefully studied to discover the true hidden meaning of that little book (comparing its many symbols with similar symbols found in other parts of the Bible).

But Chapter 1, verse 4 of Habakkuk is the primary focus of today’s devotional.

Yes, this theme of the corrupting influence of unbelievers over Believers is a reoccurring theme found over and over again throughout the Bible.

“BE NOT UNEQUALLY YOKED TOGETHER WITH UNBELIEVERS

2nd Corinthians 6:14

From the very first chapters of Genesis, to the Exodus and wilderness wanderings of the Hebrews, to the rooting-out of the heathen from the land of Canaan to the fiery Old Testament prophets to the New Testament epistle writers, God repeatedly commands His people to separate themselves from unbelievers.

Listen to Paul… “Come out from among them (unbelievers), and be ye separate, and touch not the unclean, and I will receive you, and be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty” 2nd Corinthians 6:17, 18 (read entire passage of 2nd Corinthians 6:14-18)

In this abbreviated passage, God warns His people that separation from unbelievers is necessary for God to be our Father, and we to be His children.

One great error in the world today is found in beholding the ways in which the world’s inhabitants perform their everyday tasks.

Yes, the world has its own way of doing things.

.

And yet, God has given us the Bible. And that Word of God reveals a whole new way of doing things! Heaven’s way of doing things!

.

And He commands us to purify our hearts and minds from the old ways of the world, and begin to live life anew in the ways of Heaven.

.

No more are we to live according to the faithless ways of the world.

“EVIL COMMUNICATIONS CORRUPTS GOOD MANNERS”

And so, Satan floods our daily lives with the corrupting influences of unbelievers, so that our enlightened conscience becomes blunted to the point that we lose our spiritual discernment.

And as a result of all this, many or perhaps most Christians have lost sight of Jesus.

.

Listen to Paul…“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:” Galatians 2:20

.

They do not understand that the life of Jesus is to be their life, as Paul reveals in this above verse.

“Certain men…turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness”

Jude 1:4

But because church-goers are surrounded by false believers in the Church, they are heavily influenced by the bad example of these deceivers.

In other words, they see their entire local congregation behaving in a worldly manner.

.

They take notice of how their fellow parishioners make decisions and, as a result, handle their own daily issues much the same way the world handles life’s daily issues.

“NEITHER ARE YOUR WAYS MY WAYS, SAYS THE LORD”

Isaiah 55:8, 9

Thus, rather than allowing the Bible to be their daily guide, they instead do things pretty much like the rest of the world.

When mistreated, the world retaliates, instead of quiet, faithful acceptance.

.

When desiring some thing, they grab, instead of allowing God’s sovereign will to override their own impetuous self-will.

.

And they depend upon their own strength to solve life’s issues instead of leaning on God’s divine strength, by faith.

.

They accept many worldly ideas and philosophies instead of making the Bible their sole source of Truth!

.

Yes, this unbelieving world more-or-less seeks after the vain pleasures and earthly treasures of this selfish planet.

.

“COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE!”

Revelation 18:4

Well, the time has come for God’s people to finally come out of this impossible situation.

Yes, the hour has arrived when God is calling on His people to finally reject the vain wares and selfish ways of this Babylonian world, and flee to the mountain of God, the heavenly Sion.

And no more will they be hopelessly entangled with the vain and faithless ways and counterfeit philosophies of this unbelieving world.

Now as New Testament priests, there is no more brick-n-mortar temple.

No, today’s New Testament priestly action takes place in our heart.

We are now “the Temple of the Lord”…

For ye are bought with a price:

God has called us to be priests together with Christ.

As a Christian goes about his or her day, they are constantly praying and thanking the Lord, and interceding for others.
