but I have chosen you out of the world,

**Now in yesterday’s devotional (click here to read) it was presented that God’s people can expect to be the recipients of much flattery from their fellow parishioners.**

And this will be done in hopes that they do not make the end-time exodus out of the apostate church-world to take their stand in the spiritual mountain strongholds which are awaiting them in these last moments of time!

CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST

Well, simply put, true Christianity has all the elements of Christ.

On the other hand, false Christianity has seemingly heavenly virtues and yet these supposed virtues are tainted by various types of worldly behavior!

“And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh

with the affections and lusts.”

This above passage reveals that true Christianity overcomes the world, the flesh, and the Devil!

Yes, there is a pretentious form of Christianity in today’s church-world.

There are many who profess to love Jesus, but the following passage actually describes them more accurately…

“And they come unto thee as the people cometh,

and they sit before thee as My people,

and they hear thy words,

but they will not do them:

for with their mouth they shew much love,

but their heart goeth after their covetousness.”

Ezekiel 33:31

.

Yes, both Ezekiel, Jeremiah, as well as Jesus warns us not to be deceived by those who claim to love the Lord, while their heart goes after the selfish pleasures and ambitious pursuits of the world!

OUR WEEKDAY GODS! “…there be gods many, and lords many”

1st Corinthians 8:5

Oh yes, they may love to talk about Jesus!

.

They may faithfully attend church.

.

But between Sabbaths their hearts are fully devoted to the weekday gods: worldly gods such as television, secular Internet, social media, radio, newspapers, magazines, ambitious career-building, sight-seeing excursions, sports, games, hobbies, nicer cars, faster boats, joking & jesting, better homes, impressive gardens, worldly/sensual music, holidays, parties, banquets, family get-togethers, and an endless list of similar pursuits.

.

Now, a few of the above-mentioned worldly pursuits may not be so bad by themselves. And yet, combined together, may indeed cause one’s Salvation to be placed on the proverbial “back-burner”.

.

This world is indeed “enchanted ground”, as the pilgrim (Bunyan) once warned us!

.

“THE TIME OF JACOB’S TROUBLE“

Jeremiah 30:7

And especially in this current crisis in which the church-world has fallen into apostasy, the Christian must exercise extreme caution since he or she can no longer depend on the churches to be the standard-bearer of true godliness and holiness!

.

“RUN, CHRISTIAN, RUN!”

.

And so, here is one more reason why Habakkuk is warning us…

“And the LORD answered me,

and said, Write the vision,

and make it plain upon tables,

that he may run that readeth it.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time,

but at the end it shall speak, and not lie:

though it tarry, wait for it;

because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

Yes, Whether Matthew, Mark, or Luke is calling God’s people to “flee to the mountains”.

.

Or Jeremiah 51 and Revelation 18 is calling us to “flee out of the midst of Babylon”.

.

Or David in Psalm 26:5 is warning us against congregating with “evil-doers”, while Jeremiah 15:19 is cautioning us to “not return unto them”.

.

“BE YE SEPARATE…AND I WILL RECEIVE YOU”

In other words, the Bible is replete with similar warnings!

God wants us to separate from the worldly-minded, as God warns, through Paul…

“Wherefore come out from among them,

and be ye separate, saith the Lord,

and touch not the unclean [thing];

and I will receive you,”

And so, today’s warning is for each of us to “be not deceived” by parishioners who may cling to us with good works and good words! (Deuteronomy 11:16 & Luke 21:8)

As already mentioned in yesterday’s devotional…“but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.” Daniel 11:34.

WOMAN ROTATES THROUGH THE SEASONS…

This page is about the Big Dipper, also called the Great Bear constellation (Ursa Major ). However, the ancient pagan cultures did not see this constellation as God intended it to be seen. It is actually a headless woman in childbirth. This is seen in springtime. It is seen in the northern skies.

Satan’s jealousy is so great that he cannot tolerate losing even one soul returning back into God’s kingdom!

And so, this Master Deceiver uses any and every possible device and stratagem to hold God’s sheep in his prison-house of sin and selfishness.

The Book of Habakkuk reveals that when God’s people are surrounded by Satan’s people, the result is apostasy in God’s house…

Therefore, it has been the primary focus of Satan, to infiltrate the Church with as many Antichrist deceivers as he possibly can, including many pastors and elders (but not all)!

From pew to pulpit, from parishioner to pastor, Satan has caused his worldly-minded “make-believers” to fill as many seats and positions as possible.

Very simple! Besides grievous wolves in the pulpits bringing in false doctrines, the world-loving examples being set by both church-leaders as well as church-laity causes the true sheep to fall into the same world-loving pit as their fellow church members.

And so, the purified Church once again fell into laxness and unwatchfulness, as a result of all this so-called, “friendliness” from the world.

The Church was now able to build church buildings, and “the god of this world” put up no resistance to this! (see 2nd Corinthians 4:4)

Yes, the world became a “friend” to Christians.

And the Church desired to reach out to the world, too!

And so, eventually the churches decided to give themselves a nice fashionable makeover, turning church services into very charismatic and up-to-date convocations!

CHURCH NOW A SOCIAL/FRATERNAL CLUB

Fashionable music, relaxed dress-codes, youth-led popular-song services, sports, entertainment, joking preachers, parties, celebrations, game-nights, movie-nights, pizza-parties, banquets, camping-trips, and a long list of other social activities was now the order of the day! Church became a veritable social/fraternal club (with a thin veneer of religiosity added).

And all this worldly-minded busy-ness worked together to make church membership attractive, even to the citizens of the world!

.

And combined with non-threatening prosperity-driven gospels, there was now very little, “offense of the Cross” to discourage or deter anyone from joining the ranks of today’s apostate churches.

“THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION”

Matthew 24:15 & Mark 13:14

But at the same time all this worldly-minded spirit was taking control of the church-world, the Holy Spirit was being driven out!

As 2nd Thessalonians 2:7 reveals…“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.”

.

Yes, in these last days the Spirit of Holiness has vacated today’s apostate churches.

And yet, in His faithfulness, God is now calling His true sheep out…

Yes, God is now calling His people to make an end-time exodus out of spiritual Babylon, the “City of Confusion”.

**Do not be surprised if your local congregation members go, “above-and-beyond”, to keep you bundled together with them, even as it is written…**

‘Gather ye together first the tares,

but gather the wheat into My barn.”

Of course, they are not knowingly deceiving you. They actually think they are doing Heaven’s work!

But in truth, the Antichrist spirit within them is actually causing them to cling to you with flatteries!

Yes, this above prophecy from Jeremiah 51:6, as well as Habakkuk 2:2, 3 are both calling God’s people out of Babylon…“Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”

But God has made abundant provisions for His people in those spiritual strongholds…

“How Did We Get Taken Captive?”

“our fathers would not obey…

and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt…

and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.”

Most Christians have no idea that they have been taken captive in Babylon.

.

Quite the contrary, they’ve been told that today’s Babylon might be Dubai or Iraq or some other literal city.

“LOVE NOT THE WORLD…”

1st John 2:15

.

And so, they go to church on Sabbath. They then return home to begin a new week. They go to work each new day. They come home to their waiting family. The children likewise attend school each weekday. At night, they might all watch TV, or perhaps play on their computers. And when the weekend comes, they all may attend some sporting event or some form of recreation or just mow the lawn, or do some other mundane chores. And then once again, the Sabbath rolls around, and it’s time to return to church.

So just how can this be Babylon?

“AND THE WHOLE WORLD LIETH IN WICKEDNESS”

1st John 5:19

Oh sure, it’s an evil world out there.

.

And it’s a world full of lost souls.

.

No doubt about it!

.

And whenever the opportunity arises, a witness for Jesus is presented to some lost soul out there: in the supermarket, on the street, or at some event, etc…

And so, living such an orderly and moral life, how can I possibly be a captive of Babylon?

“WITH THEIR MOUTH THEY SHOW MUCH LOVE…”

Well, maybe it would be a good idea to observe what caused the downfall of God’s Old Testament people.

.

Listen… “for with their mouth they shew much love,

but their heart goeth after their covetousness…

for every one from the least even unto the greatest

is given to covetousness,

from the prophet even unto the priest

every one dealeth falsely.”

Ezekiel 33:31 & Jeremiah 8:10

.

Here is the crux of the problem which caused Old Testament Israel to fall: they lusted after the things of the world, and God finally gave them what they lusted after…Babylon!

.

“COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM AND BE YE SEPARATE!”

2nd Corinthians 6:17

.

Now here’s one more verse. This one concerns separation from unbelievers…

“But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you;

then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them

shall be goads in your eyes, and thorns in your sides,

and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.

Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you,

as I thought to do unto them.”

Numbers 33:55, 56

.

These three above passages from Ezekiel 33:31, Jeremiah 8:10, and Numbers 33:55, 56, really encapsulate the fundamental problem which eventually caused Old Testament Israel to be taken captive in Babylon: coveting the things of the world and refusing to separate from unbelievers.

“ALL THESE THINGS HAPPENED TO THEM FOR EXAMPLES” FOR US TODAY!

1st Corinthians 10:11

Now let’s move forward to New Testament spiritual Israel.

.

Unfortunately, these same three passages apply today to the Church, as much or even more so than for Old Testament Israel!

.

**Yes, for the most part, God’s professed people today are, 1. given over to covetousness, and 2. have not separated themselves from ungodly influences (as far as possible).**

.

And though God sent the northern armies to literally carry away God’s people to actual Babylon, God has now allowed spiritual Babylon to rise up all around us, taking God’s people captive today, in a spiritual sense.

.

“HAVING THEIR CONSCIENCE SEARED WITH A HOT IRON”

1st Timothy 4:2

.

Now to mention just a few ways in which we’ve been taken captive.

.

First, the vast majority of Christian children attend public schooling in which they are daily indoctrinated into atheistic philosophies and other heathen behaviors of the world.

.

Instead of studying the Bible and learning the history of the Church through the past 2,000 years, Christian children learn the ways of the world, and a secularized version of history, completely void of the plight of God’s people through the centuries.

.

“OH MY PEOPLE, THEY WHICH LEAD THEE, CAUSE THEE TO ERR…”

Isaiah 3:12

.

And then, the Church has not properly warned its parishioners of the dangers of watching television and other “evil communications”. (see 1st Corinthians 15:33)

.

And instead of separating from unbelievers, today’s churches actually encourage worldly relationships! (see 2nd Corinthians 6:14-18)

.

“SUPPOSING THAT GAIN IS GODLINESS: FROM SUCH WITHDRAW THYSELF!”

1st Timothy 6:5

And sadly, too many Christian men and women have sought after proud, ambitious, time-consuming, energy-sapping careers that pay enough money to afford plenty of the pleasures and treasures of this selfish world, while sending the “crumbs which fall off their tables” to get out the Gospel into all the world.

.

And if they had really been on fire to get the Gospel out into all the world, the inhabitants of the world would have fallen ere-long before this! (see Isaiah 26:18)

.

“AND EVERY MAN…PURIFIETH HIMSELF…”

1st John 3:3

.

In contrast to the sad and apostate condition of today’s church-world, the early Church was wholly given to 1. getting out the Gospel, and 2. the transforming of the soul into the image of Christ.

.

And there was no attempt to have Jesus while still seeking after the pleasures and treasures of the world, as is commonly done today. They were 100% dedicated to the Gospel! The entire family!

“COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE!”

Revelation 18:4

Well, this devotional is too short to present a full litany of the abominations which has caused God’s Spirit to finally vacate today’s churches and denominations, and allowed them to become gobbled up and assimilated by this Babylon world.

.

There’s just not enough time to list the various wrong doctrines now being taught, nor of the compromised worldly worship services, etc…

.

But today’s devotional has presented just a few of the basic reasons why God is now calling His people out of the Babylonish churches, warning them to flee to the “mountain of His holiness”. Psalm 48:1

Yes, in His great love and mercy, God has given us our fill of this cornucopian world.

But the time has come when each and every man, woman, and child is now being called to come search this matter out carefully and prayerfully, that they might make a wise and intelligent and informed decision to join this end-time exodus, out of Babylon.

But we can come a good way out if we so-choose!

LOCATING THE DRAGON

.

THE DRAGON of REVELATION 12 CONSTELLATION . The Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months. The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield. This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is the very same constellation that comprises the head of Taurus the Bull. In other words, Hyades is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull. And Hyades is the mouth of this Dragon.

The tip of the Dragon’s tail is composed of that star-cluster known as The Pleiades. The Pleiades is actually in the shape of a lion’s furry tassel tip of his tail. The sketch below shows this Pleiades as the tail tip.

Now with aid of a dark starry night, you may begin to connect this mouth and the tail with a very long body in an oval shape. The front and back legs are very well-defined with stars. The front legs are made partially of Taurus. The back legs and rear fin are made of the Cetus Constellation. But the long oval-shaped body has relatively few stars, but can been seen, howbeit with a dark starry night. The four stars of the front fins are made partially of Taurus. This Dragon constellation appears in the eastern horizon about mid-summer in the pre-dawn hours, spewing his flood-waters northward toward the Woman of Revelation 12 (Woman in Travail). The Wave of Water is primarily composed of the Constellation Auriga. The are two more less bright stars which are closest to the Dragon’s mouth. These two dimmer stars are also part of this Wave of Water.

This above verse presents a spiritual concept that clearly delineates the boundary line between the church-faithful and the church-apostate.

Yes, God’s Church is a divided house, because of these two groups.

And so, just a few minutes should be devoted to establishing this boundary line between the true and false brethren.

Listen to this next verse from the Wise Man…

Here is the very same basic concept that was presented in the previous verse (concerning “a whore’s forehead.”) In other words, the apostate portion of the Church has no remorse over their love for this present selfish world…“I have done no wickedness!”

Oh yes, they maintain a certain degree of morality and Christian decorum, and yet, have little or no desire to become crucified with Christ.

After all, to die-to-self with Christ would bring an end to all their worldly pursuits and earthy pleasures!

And let’s face it, there are many selfish pleasures and ambitious pursuits which the Christian world has deemed, “acceptable”.

And so, in most local congregations, these “acceptable” worldly desires are taken for granted as being “fair game” for the parishioners to pursue.

.

Such pursuits as social clubs, nicer cars, nicer homes, more motorized “toys”, television, secular radio, novels, hobbies, sports, wanderlust, prestigious careers and a host of similar worldly indulgences.

.

And beside these individual pursuits, the churches and denominations have compromised today’s worship services with stylish and sensual music, comedians in the pulpit, laughing and joking and common talk in the sanctuary, sensual dress, church-traditions (and false doctrines) and other similar common behavior.

.

In other words, individually and collectively, this is the essence of the prosperity-driven gospel now embraced all through the churches and denominations. And it is found in both liberal and conservative churches alike!

“THE ABJECTS GATHERED THEMSELVES TOGETHER AGAINST ME”

Psalm 35:15

And of course, those few in the Church who are calling for a return to holiness are mostly regarded as fanatics and oddballs. And Satan has made sure that some of them are actually fanatics and oddballs, which only adds to the confusion.

Nevertheless, in contrast to the harlot churches, God’s true worshipers are very distraught over their own sins.

.

LIKE MOURNING DOVES

But listen to Ezekiel 7:16…

“But they that escape of them shall escape,

and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys,

all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.”

Here in Ezekiel 7:16 is a poetic, allegorical picture of God’s people as they separate themselves from the great apostasy which has left the churches and denominations desolate.

.

These faithful ones are fully aware of how unchristlike they are! They fully understand how they too have lusted after the gods of this world, just like their fellow apostate parishioners have done.

.

But unlike the adulterous portion of the Church, these faithful ones fall to their knees (spiritually) and tearfully plead for the Lord’s great mercy and forgiveness. They loathe themselves for their sins and beg for spiritual renewal and Christlike restoration!

“COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE!”

Revelation 18:4

**Well, this is just one more reason to come out of the harlot “City of Confusion”, Babylon (the apostate church-world).**

And the Good News is, that God has provided abundant spiritual bread and waters of grace, just as is written…

“And there shall be upon every high mountain,

and upon every high hill,

rivers and streams of waters

in the day of the great slaughter,

when the towers fall. “

(Isaiah 30:25)

**And those who do finally escape to the “mountain of His holiness” will be filled with Christ’s righteousness that they have been hoping and praying for, for such a long, long time!**

“The Morning Cometh, And Also The Night!”

Watchman, what of the night?

The watchman said,

The morning cometh,

and also the night:

if ye will enquire, enquire ye: return, come.”

One of the signs written in the Sun, Moon, and Stars is the “Night Watchman”, which God has inscribed on the face of the Moon.

.

Oh yes, for centuries, this face of a man has been commonly referred to as, “The Man in the Moon”.

.

And it has been created by God to present a very important concept!

.

You see, the Bible speaks a number of times about “Watchmen”.

.

These were chosen and faithful men appointed to stand on the walls of the city, watching for any approaching enemy.

.

“WATCMAN, WHAT OF THE NIGHT?”

Now in the Book of Isaiah, a very cryptic prophecy was made…

“Watchman, what of the night?

Watchman, what of the night?

The watchman said, The morning cometh,

and also the night:

if ye will enquire, enquire ye: return, come.”

Isaiah 21:11, 12

.

So, just what in the world could this mysterious response, by that watchman in Isaiah 21:12, be all about?

“CHILDREN OF LIGHT…OF THE DAY”

Well, for one thing, the Bible often speaks of night as a time of spiritual darkness…“Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.” 1st Thessalonians 5:5

So here we have the answer to this mysterious pronouncement by the watchman!

.

The morning symbolizes the light of the Gospel of Christ while the night symbolizes the spiritual darkness which covers those who are still lost and without Jesus.

“THE DAWNING OF THE DAY”

Listen again…

“We have also a more sure word of prophecy;

whereunto ye do well that ye take heed,

as unto a light that shineth in a dark place,

until the day dawn,

and the day star arise in your hearts:”

2nd Peter 1:19

.

So here is revealed that the “day dawn” is speaking of a very special spiritual morning in which God’s people will be enlightened when…“the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings…” (see Malachi 4:2)

.

**Yes, this “dawning of the day” is a time when God’s people finally achieve victory over self.**

.

It is the time when the walls of our selfishness will come tumbling down as surely as did those walls of Jericho!

.

“BEHOLD, THE DARKNESS SHALL COVER THE EARTH, AND GROSS DARKNESS THE PEOPLE”

But even though it is a glorious morning for God’s true worshipers, it is a time of utter darkness for those who refuse to come out of the “City of Confusion”, Babylon, the harlot church! (see Isaiah 21:8, 9)

.

Now of course, Satan has been allowed to move in and replace the true Holy Spirit which has been taken out of the midst of the church-world.

.

And this arch-deceiver has been permitted to come with “all power and signs and lying wonders,” 2nd Thessalonians 2:9.

.

“FALSE CHRISTS AND FALSE PROPHETS…SHALL DECEIVE, IF POSSIBLE, THE VERY ELECT”

Yes, Satan will counterfeit the workings of God so closely, that his so-called “ministers of righteousness”, will perform, “signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.”

(see 2nd Corinthians 11:14, 15 & Mark 13:22)

And isn’t that what we’re seeing today? After all, aren’t the local congregations and denominations filled with happy people, many carrying their Bibles, baptized, and singing, and praising, seemingly doing everything that churchgoers should do?

Oh yes they are!

Yes, this above verse reveals that God is now calling His people out of “Mystery Babylon, the mother of harlots”. Revelation 17:5

“HE THAT HATH EARS TO HEAR, LET HIM HEAR!”

Matthew 11:19, 13:19, etc…

And so, if the Reader has an ear to hear this message presented today, then let there be a calm and quiet exodus (based on the Bible’s knowledge, confirmation, and wisdom) out of the apostasy which now enshrouds the fallen congregations and denominations in thick darkness!

“It’s A Titanic World!”

One of the most shocking events in modern history was the sinking of the mighty ship, The Titanic!

.

Several movies have been made about that great tragedy, plus numerous books.

.

It was such an unthinkable catastrophe, still commonly spoken of, even to this very day!

.

THE METAPHOR SINKS

.

And what made it even more bizarre was, just prior to its fateful maiden voyage in 1915, many claimed that the Titanic was, “The unsinkable ship!”

.

It is even reported that one crew-member boldly exclaimed, “God Himself couldn’t sink that ship!”

.

But on the next day after the ship had struck the iceberg and sank, one newspaper headline curiously read, “Metaphor sinks!”

.

AN UNSINKABLE WORLD?

And indeed, the Titanic was and is a fitting metaphor for this Titanic world!

Yes, through the centuries, as this work-a-day world has been going busily about its day-by-day routine, the great multitudes have long held the notion that “tomorrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.” Isaiah 56:2

.

This world seemed unsinkable!

.

SIGNS OF THE TIMES ARE EVERYWHERE!

But it is now in our day that humanity is getting nervous!

Because ever since that fateful day in 1915, the world has been steadily inching closer and closer to the precipice of destruction!

Two world wars, the invention of nuclear bombs, incurable disease, the nearly pandemic embracing of Sodom’s sin, and other previously unheard of calamities are making a whole lot of people very nervous.

.

ANOTHER UNCANNY SIMILARITY!

But there is another uncanny similarity between the Titanic ship and this Titanic World which only further confirms the metaphoric nature of these two titans!

.

And what similarity could that possibly be?

.

Yes, the Titanic was brought down by an iceberg.

“HAIL…RESERVED AGAINST THE TIME OF TROUBLE”

Now what possible connection could that iceberg have to this world’s demise?

Listen…“Hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?” Job 38:22, 23

Oh no, this above verse is not speaking of an iceberg.

.

But it is indeed speaking of God’s judgment of ice upon this world in the last days!

THE SEVENTH PLAGUE

Listen again, as God speaks about hail in the Book of Revelation…“And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.” Revelation 16:21

.

This is the very last plague to fall upon the earth in the last days!

.

“THEREFORE SPEAK I UNTO THEM IN PARABLES”

But what must be understood is this: the Bible is a book of metaphors.

.

And to rightly interpret the thousands of metaphors in the Bible requires much study, “comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” 1st Corinthians 2:13

HAIL IS A METAPHOR

.

The hail spoken of the Bible is to be understood metaphorically!

.

Listen…“Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies” Isaiah 28:17

.

**Obviously literal hail cannot “sweep away the refuge of lies”, as it prophesies in Isaiah!**

.

**And just as water is often used in Scripture as a metaphor of “grace”, so too, hail has its own spiritual meaning!**

MANKIND’S LOVE WAXES COLD

Listen to another prophecy which Jesus made, concerning these days…“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” Matthew 24:12, 13

Is this prophecy finding any fulfillment today?

Are we seeing iniquity abounding?

.

Are we seeing humanity’s so-called “love”, waxing cold?

Just look around!

Read the newspapers! Watch the television! Everywhere we look, it seems that humanity is getting more and more intolerant of each other!

Just look at the political world!

There is so much hatred in today’s politics, that the various news agencies twist the facts (or omit facts altogether) in the daily news stories just to make their political foes appear even more evil than they really are!

.

Political protests are happening on a daily basis with hate-filled chants shouted by angry throngs, ready to beat anyone who might get in their way!

.

And some political leaders are even calling for the death of their enemies!

MOTHER BEHEADED ON MOTHER’S DAY!

Several men ruthlessly murdered their own mothers on Mother’s Day this year!

VIOLENCE NOW FILMED FOR THE INTERNET!

.

Beheadings and other violent deeds are now shown on the Internet, on a regular basis!

Yes, even though this world has been struck by the iceberg of man’s intolerant hatred for others, there is a way of escape!

Sadly, only one-third of the Titanic’s passengers were saved.

But the lifeboat that God has provided is big enough to rescue any and every last man, woman, and child on this sinking planet.

Yes, unlike the insufficient lifeboats of the Titanic back in 1915, nobody should think that God’s lifeboat is too small for all to come aboard to be saved!

Look eastward in the early summer through fall. Find the Cassiopeia Constellation. Cassiopeia is the Mount of Blessing. In the sketch, it is the farthest mountain to the left. In the sky, it is the northern-most of these three mountains when facing eastward. It resembles a pyramid.

Then find the second pyramid to its right (south).

Then go a little further south to the next third pyramid. The third snow-cap is the Destroying Mountain Constellation.

These three pyramids are the snow-capped portion of these three mountains in this sketch. (of course, you won’t see the snow-caps in the sky. They are just an embellishment in this sketch to present a concept-EDITOR).

THE VALLEY OF DECISION CONSTELLATION GROUP. They appear in mid-summer in the eastern skies in pre-dawn hours. These are made of Cassiopeia (mount on left), and various stars from the Andromeda Constellation (valley) Pegasus (Mount of Cursing (middle mount) & Destroying Mount (right)), and Pisces (Broad Way to Hell). The galaxy which appears to be climbing the Mountain of Blessing is the Andromeda Galaxy.

In the years following the establishment of the New Testament Church, many Christians were forced by Rome to pinch off a tiny amount of incense and sprinkle it on a small altar dedicated to the queen of Heaven.

If an individual refused, he or she suffered a cruel death in the Roman arena.

Yes, unjust laws are now going through legislation which will infringe upon the religious freedom of hospitals, elderly care facilities, churches, schools, military, businesses, and individuals who desire to serve the Lord Jesus.

These unjust laws are coming concerning various “politically protected” entities, religious, social, and moral.

For instance, legislation is now being enacted to force churches, ministries, businesses, schools, care facilities to not only accept certain sins and antibiblical behavior, but also to actively promote them!

In this way, Satan can now violate the Christian’s conscience, in a new and updated method!

No longer is it necessary to pinch some incense onto an altar to Diana, Ishtar, or whatever other god or goddess worshiped.

MISCHIEVOUS LAWS

But the same result as sprinkling incense can now be accomplished by these unjust laws…“Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?” Psalm 94:20

.

Here above, God is foretelling that mischief will be framed by unjust laws. And that appears to be what we’re now seeing in our society.

.

The question is, can the courts of the land prevent these laws from being enacted?

.

Perhaps they can hold back these laws for a few more years. But maybe the courts have already joined the forces of Satan and will join in the persecution!

NO MORE FREEDOM OF SPEECH CONCERNING BIBLE TRUTH

The true meaning of “buying & selling” is concerning what Proverbs says…“Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.” Proverbs 23:23

And so, Revelation 13:17 is to be fulfilled…

This phenomenon is already beginning to be fulfilled as we see so-called, “hate laws” now being enacted that may soon stifle free speech by the Christian community.

But the Bible reveals that…

Unfortunately, the vast majority within the Christian community have bought into Satan’s lie that they will be removed from the earth prior to all this happening.

But the Bible does not promote such an idea.

As a matter of fact, it is God’s intention to test each and every Christian as to “Who do I truly fear and worship?”

And even though many theologians mis-apply Revelation Chapter 3:10, attributing it to the so-called Pre-Tribulation Rapture, the fact is, the Bible never mentions anything about a so-called “Rapture”, but only speaks about Christ returning on the Last Day (see John 6:39, 40, 44, 54)

1st Thessalonians 5:9 & Acts 14:22

Many radio and TV preachers love to quote 1st Thessalonians 5:9…“For God hath not appointed us to wrath” as a reason that we will be raptured out of this world, prior to the coming Great Tribulation.

But what they ignore are such verses as Acts 14:22, which says, “we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.”

And so, you will seldom hear this verse being quoted by the Pre-Tribulation Rapturists, especially in connection to the coming tribulation.

Now the very Good News is that today is the day of Salvation.

And it is time that every individual who dares take the name of Christ on his or her lips still has opportunity to fortify the heart and mind in the things of Heaven!

LOCATING THE DRAGON

.

The Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months. The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield. This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is the very same constellation that comprises the head of Taurus the Bull. In other words, Hyades is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull. And Hyades is the mouth of this Dragon.

.

The tip of the Dragon’s tail is composed of that star-cluster known as The Pleiades. The Pleiades is actually in the shape of a lion’s furry tassel tip of his tail. The sketch below shows this Pleiades as the tail tip.

.

Now with aid of a dark starry night, you may begin to connect this mouth and the tail with a very long body in an oval shape. The front and back legs are very well-defined with stars. The front legs are made partially of Taurus. The back legs and rear fin are made of the Cetus Constellation. But the long oval-shaped body has relatively few stars, but can been seen, howbeit with a dark starry night. The four stars of the front fins are made partially of Taurus. This Dragon constellation appears in the eastern horizon about mid-summer in the pre-dawn hours, spewing his flood-waters northward toward the Woman of Revelation 12 (Woman in Travail). The Wave of Water is primarily composed of the Constellation Auriga. The are two more less bright stars which are closest to the Dragon’s mouth. These two dimmer stars are also part of this Wave of Water.

Yes, we once thought this world to be as solid as could be!

WOMAN ROTATES THROUGH THE SEASONS…

This page is about the Big Dipper, also called the Great Bear constellation (Ursa Major ). However, the ancient pagan cultures did not see this constellation as God intended it to be seen. It is actually a headless woman in childbirth. This is seen in springtime. It is seen in the northern skies.

But as the seasons progress, this travailing woman flips upside down, now appearing as a woman with upraised arms like eagle wings who is running (eventually flying, as shown in sketch on right) into the wilderness (westward). The single star representing her birth-child (Christ) now becomes her head (“Christ is the head of the church.” Ephesians 5:23

.

The 7 Stars (Big Dipper) is easy to see with its very bright 7 stars. But the Revelation 12 Woman (Ursa Major) must be seen on a dark starry night, away from city lights.

The reason why this creature is so incredible, is that it can just glance at its environment and instantly change its body to imitate that environment!

As a matter of fact, whatever the Cuttlefish passes over, it instantly begins to change into the same color and shape, of that undersea object!

CUTTLEFISH: SYMBOL OF SATAN

Well, God has created this little predator to give us further insight into the inner working of the kingdom of Satan.

(As this little 26 second video below shows, the Cuttlefish has the ability to paralyze his potential victims, by using his hypnotizing strobe-light effect! Amazing!)

Certainly Satan and his unseen minions love to make themselves invisible! That way, they can work their misery and woe upon this unsuspecting world, without its inhabitants becoming alarmed causing us to rebel against Satan’s kingdom, as we flee to God!

And isn’t true that the pleasures and riches of this world, like the cuttlefish’s strobe-hypnotizer, have a mesmerizing effect upon us?

Truly it can be said, we live in a “Cuttlefish World”.

Yes, like that incredible impostor, this world has been changed into a seemingly benign and beneficent society to a great degree. Oh yes, there are many underlying dangers and evils lurking out there!

But just look around at all the humanitarianism going on today! Why, it just seems as if this is such a caring and compassionate world!

And it’s just about impossible to watch television without some social justice advertisement coming on, promoting some aspect of human kindness!

Most all this humanitarianism is just the Revelation 13 Beast, “The False Prophet” doing his phony compassion thing in attempt to deceive Christians (and the world) into believing the big lie: that this is a loving and caring world!

But it’s not! No, most all this supposed human kindness is a product of the great Antichrist, Satan, who comes as an angel of light to deceive if possible, even the very elect people of God, as well as the entire world!

If we stand back and look at the bigger picture, we begin to realize the true nature of those who flatter themselves to be compassionate humanitarians.

For example, a huge part of the humanitarian community applauds to see thousands spent on saving one sea creature, while likewise applauding to see billions spent on murdering countless unborn children!

And many of those same humanitarians applaud when a Christian loses his or her livelihood, or even loses life itself!

.

Such duplicity is hypocrisy in the first degree!

UNSAVED MANKIND: “For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.”

As a matter of fact, if “the god of this world” were to withdraw all of his mesmerizing Cuttlefish “goodness”, the people of the world would begin to show their genuine wickedness, and Christians would be quickly exterminated! (Oh yes, they probably would be tortured first).

So this devotional is a warning for Christians to get themselves ready for the moment when this world takes on its true “Cuttlefish” wickedness, and comes at true Christians with all the venomous hatred that Satan has for you and for me!

***CASTOR AND POLLUX & THE NARROW WAY…***

“And after three months we departed in a ship of Alexandria, which had wintered in the isle, whose sign was Castor and Pollux.” Acts 28:11

Most theologians interpret this verse to be speaking of two pagan gods known as Castor and Pollux. Beyond that, they are puzzled as to what significance do these twin gods have. Some believe these gods to be the patrons of safe ocean travel. Certainly God would never want His people to board such a pagan ship!

But there is much significance to Castor and Pollux. No, not to those twin-gods. But there are two stars named Castor and Pollux. They are twin-stars, and not twin-gods. They are the two bright stars of the constellation commonly known as Gemini. But as “Signs Of Heaven” points out, these two stars also happen to be the two brightest stars on Orion’s sickle.

**And these two stars are also known as The Narrow Gate Stars. And if you will explore this concept, you will see that Castor and Pollux possess great significance…**

“Enter ye in at the strait gate:

for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction,

and many there be which go in thereat:

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way,

which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

Castor and Pollux represent this Biblical concept of the Narrow Way.

The Devil Made Me Do It!

.

Part 14:

“Satan’s Army of Mockers! CONTINUED”

Back in the 1970’s, a certain saying was popularized…“The Devil made me do it! The Devil made me do it!”

.

And this was merely mocking Christians, who were seemingly obsessed with pointing the finger at the Devil.

.

Then they could all laugh and mock the notion that Satan is a very active and powerful force controlling the peoples of this world, by mockingly saying…“The Devil made me do it!”

SATAN, “THE GOD OF THIS WORLD”

2nd Corinthians 4:4

.

But the horrifying fact is, the Devil does indeed cause the vast percentage of the world’s inhabitants to do a great amount of things!

.

After all, the above signature verse reveals a truth that practically nobody realizes nor accepts! It is perhaps the most egregious truth in all of the Bible!

.

And this above verse from Ephesians reveals that Satan is indeed… “the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:”

.

And let’s face it! The idea that the entire world’s inhabitants are filled with this evil antichrist spirit is more than anybody is willing to accept, much less even admit!

.

“A FORM OF GODLINESS”

2nd Timothy 3:5

.

Now Satan has created a world that has a form of godliness, and yet is void of the only true Spirit of Godliness, the Holy Spirit.

.

And today’s devotional wants to focus on just one area in which Satan has made sin to appear good.

.

And that one area of life is the world of comedy.

.

Especially in the western nations, the very nations which once lovingly embraced the Christian reformation, the Enemy of Souls has replaced godliness and holiness with worldly behavior. And one very big part of worldly behavior is joking, or “jesting”, as the Bible refers to it! But also, the Bible refers to it as “mockery”.

.

Oh yes, this lost world loves comedy! After all, what can be better than to make people laugh!?

.

Even the Bible says, “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine” Proverbs 17:22

.

“NEITHER FOOLISH TALK NOR JESTING, WHICH ARE NOT CONVENIENT (PROPER)”

.

But the fact is, all such worldly entertainment is condemned in Scripture…“all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting…Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.” Ephesians 5:3-8

.

If this were the only verse in Scripture concerning this sin, nobody would be confused. But there are other proofs found elsewhere in Scripture.

.

JESUS WAS NOT A JOKER! NOR WAS PAUL!

.

But perhaps, the greatest proof is the life of Jesus, who was entirely serious during His life and ministry.

.

And what about Paul, who exhorts us to “Be ye followers of me, even as I am also of Christ” 1st Corinthians 11:1

.

Neither of these two ever engaged in foolish talk or jesting (even though many attempt to wrestle with Scripture to make it seem so!)

.

“BE YE THEREFORE NOT PARTAKERS WITH THEM!”

But what about the hearers of comedy? What about those of us who listen and laugh at today’s mockers?

.

Listen as Ephesians continues…“Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)…And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” Ephesians 5:7-9, 11

.

So here we have a strong command to “have no fellowship” with such worldly behavior, but rather to walk as “children of light…in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth”. Ephesians 5:8, 9, 11.

“BUT NOW ARE YE LIGHT IN THE LORD!”

Now here’s the great problem with all this.

.

You see, God’s people are to be filled with the Holy Spirit of truth, righteousness, and goodness. So then, why do we Christians find pleasure in these comedians who make a living at making a mockery of sin?

.

Listen to the Wise Man…“Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.” Proverbs 14:9

.

So much of today’s comedy is merely a mockery of sin and sinful behavior. So much of today’s comedy derives its humor by mocking people in one way or another. For instance, political humor often mocks some aspect of its opponents: odd physical traits, odd behavior, vulnerable words or statements.

.

But all comedy makes light of this sad world full of lost souls in need of Salvation.

.

“YE KNOW NOT WHAT MANNER OF SPIRIT YE ARE OF!”

Luke 9:55

.

And truth-be-told, we need to ask ourselves the question, “If I am enjoying all this mockery, what spirit is indwelling me? Certainly not the Holy Spirit!”

.

Listen to Paul in Ephesians 2:2…“Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:”

.

“Uh-oh! If I am enjoying this worldly, unchristlike behavior, could that be a sign that the prince of the power of the air is now working in me too? Am I a true child of God, or merely one of the “children of disobedience” spoken of in Ephesians 2:2?”

.

Instead of laughing at all this mockery and jesting I should, “rather reprove them!” (Ephesians 5:11)

THOMAS BROOKS ON JOKING PREACHERS

**Listen to the Christian reformer, Thomas Brooks in his treatise “7 Characteristics of False teachers”…**

.

“They preach more to please the ear than to profit the heart…False teachers handle holy things rather with wit and trifling, rather than with fear and reverence. False teachers are soul-murderers. They are like evil surgeons, that skin over the wound—but never heal it…False teachers are hell’s greatest enrichers.”

.

Here, that reformation crusader-for-truth, Thomas Brooks, presents a stinging rebuke to all those false teachers in both his day, and even more so in our day, who engage in mockery and worldly humor instead of glorifying God with godly fear and trembling!

NOT SOUR, BUT BE CHEERFUL

On the other hand, being serious-minded does not necessitate being dour or somber. No, the consecrated Christian will rather strive to be cheerful and warm and loving and sympathetic and kind and filled with thanksgiving to the Lord!

.

Nor should he or she fill the atmosphere of others with heaviness or gloominess, but rather be as upbeat and as light and as helpful as possible!

“COME OUT OF HER (BABYLON) MY PEOPLE!”

Revelation 18:4

Well, time does not permit to go any further on this subject.

.

But the Good News is this! Today is still the day of Salvation! And God is calling His people to come out of Babylon, both physically and spiritually. And those who are truly intent on becoming Christlike in every way, will realize that mocking and jesting are “not convenient” (not proper). And we must pray for grace to overcome this most pernicious habit, if we ever expect to be overcomers!

.

May God give us all the mercy and grace to overcome the world in this area of our lives! And we can expect Satan to oppose our efforts to overcome these things.

7 HEADS, 10 HORNS, & 7 CROWNS OF THE DRAGON

“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.” Revelation 12:3

**In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns. However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not.**

.

But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns. Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars.

.

The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7). And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10). So we have this 7 and 10 numbering. And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent. Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).

This above passage reveals that true Christianity overcomes the world, the flesh, and the Devil!
