There’s a whole lot of people who are very bothered about the oppressive laws which are beginning to be created!

Yes, this nation, as of late, seems to be exhibiting some qualities of totalitarianism. Yes, that, “Land of Liberty” in which we grew up in, seems to be morphing into…uh…well…into something else.

And even more unnerving is that our children do not even realize what’s going on, because they have been educated to accept all this change, yes, even to embrace it!

IT’S ALL FALLING APART!

But we are shocked and amazed at what we now see!

When we see Christian businessmen having to close up shop, it is very disconcerting!

.

When we see the courts handing down unjust decisions, we are filled with anger!

.

When we hear that huge corporations are paying off congressmen, to oppress us, we feel helpless!

.

When the schools begin to promote sexual perversion, we are amazed and confounded!

.

When false and oppressive religions move in, and begin to take over the very nations which once enthusiastically embraced the Christian Reformation, we are greatly saddened!

.

The television, the radio, the Internet, newspapers and magazines are beginning to appear like brainwashing machines, even now embracing censorship of opposing viewpoints!

.

The young people pass by on the streets, wearing pagan-like ornaments and markings, and greet us with a growl or a scowl!

.

We hear their violent music filled with four-letter words!

.

We read of unthinkable crimes!

.

Our government is committing financial suicide!

.

Public nudity beginning to be legalized!

.

Unisex public restrooms now replacing the old gender-based restrooms!

.

Children being kidnapped and sold into slavery by the millions!

.

Churches now beginning to embrace the morals of Sodom and Gomorrah! 

.

You could probably sum up the whole world situation today, by merely saying… “judgment is turned away backward, and justice stands afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.” Isaiah 59:14

.

Yes, justice and goodness and truth seems to be dying, as far as this world is concerned!

GOD’S WORD THE ANSWER!

Well, God’s Word is still just as valid today, as it was back in the day when it was first penned!

And it is filled with “exceeding great and precious promises” which are true and powerful and living and active! (2nd Peter 1:4)

And it is by those promises, that God’s people will get through this growing crisis!

“THE TRYING OF YOUR FAITH WORKETH PATIENCE”

James 1:3

But let’s just “cut to the chase”, as the saying goes, in regards to today’s devotional.

.

You see, this devotional proposes the following idea, concerning the frightful condition of today’s world: all these seemingly devastating changes going on are merely being allowed by God for the perfection of His saints. Yes, the madness occurring all around us has been explicitly allowed by God, to push us in the direction of Jesus!

.

You see, our weak human nature only makes us lethargic and complacent. We really don’t want to run the Christian race. We would rather just comfortably fit in! We would rather be “cozy & comfy”, living a smooth and blissful existence. We don’t want to be cold, or destitute, or persecuted, or uncomfortable, like Paul, for example.

.

And God understands all this. And for many decades, He has allowed us to live in this opulent and hedonistic society, so as to fill us up with our own selfishness and disregard for the Salvation of the world.

SUFFERING BRINGS OBEDIENCE

.

But as we look at the life of Jesus, we see a noble Being, whose feet were as “burnished brass”, because of the many fiery trials He suffered through His rather short life on earth.

.

In other words, it was the trials which Jesus endured which perfected His character…

.

Listen… “Though He (Jesus) were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered;” Hebrews 5:8

.

So here we see that Christ suffered for the reason of becoming fully perfected. (Now of course, Jesus was already obedient. But just like His baptism, His suffering was also to be an example for us to follow in His footsteps.)

SUFFERING WITH CHRIST

And the trials before us will cause us to let go of our dependence upon worldly institutions and earthly supports, so that we can fully lean upon Christ.

For instance, statistics show that most Christian children attend public schooling. And while this has never been a good thing, it now becomes fully manifest that public schooling is absolutely soul-destroying because of the perversions which are now beginning to be promoted.

.

And even though television has always been very detrimental to the souls of God’s people, it is now getting so bad, that even the best of shows are no longer safe to watch!

NO MORE TRUSTING IN MAN

Well, it appears that it could be just a matter of time until we will be pushed out of our houses, and jobs.

Yes, it looks like God is now allowing the once-trusted institutions to fail, so that we will no longer be able to trust in Man…

TIME TO FLEE!

Listen to this prophecy…“In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; To go into the clefts of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth. CEASE YE FROM MAN, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?” Isaiah 2:20-22

This passage speaks specifically of the day we are now entering in. And so, now, we can begin to understand just why God’s people are to cast away our earthly idols and run to those ragged rocks, for fear of the Lord and for His glory!

THE GOOD NEWS!

Fortunately, we can look at the positive side of all this bad news!

Yes, as Paul tells us… “But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:” Romans 5:20

The fact is, God will use all these horrible circumstances to perfect His people, that we might stand firm, while the world is being decimated!

.

And we have this following promise… “A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.” Psalm 91:7, 8

.

And with promises like this, what or who do we need to fear?

What if someone told you that a great image of the Valley of Decision, spoken of by Joel, the Prophet, was up in the night-sky?

Would that make you nervous? It probably would, wouldn’t it?

But the fact is, the Valley of Decision is much closer than that!

.

Oh yes, it is even much closer than that Valley of Megiddo, over in there in Palestine!

VALLEY COMES TO US IN OUR HEART!

.

You see, the Valley of Decision comes to us right in our very own heart and mind!

.

It is a valley that each and every man, woman, and child must walk through in his or her lifetime! And it can come at any time in one’s life. Perhaps even on the very day prior to a fatal accident!

.

For the unbeliever, it is “the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world.” John 1:9, which beckons him to “Go and sell that ye have, and come and follow Me.”

.

And for the one who has already begun to walk the Pilgrim’s Way, to follow Jesus, as a disciple, the Valley of Decision can still yet come to that person, asking the question… “Are you willing to forsake all, and follow Jesus even into that death-to-self, which kills all earthly desires? Are you willing to trade that “self” for the incredible Agape love of Jesus?”

MANY TURNED BACK!

Yes, there were many disciples in the days of Jesus’ earthly sojourn, who finally could take no more of His self-sacrificing life, and simply turned away from following Him, and walked no more with Him!

And so, the Valley of Decision comes to us, silently in the night, and asks the question, “Will ye also go away?” John 6:67

VALLEY OF DECISION NOW APPEARING!

Well, the fact is, the Valley of Decision is up in the night-sky! Yes, there is a constellation group which is called the Valley of Decision Constellation Group.

.

And it first appears in Summer, and comes out each night well into Fall. And it really should make us nervous. Because God is now revealing the Signs Of Heaven promised in Luke 21:25.

.

Listen… “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring…And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” Luke 21:25, 28

And so, it says that… “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”

TOPSY-TURVY WORLD!

You see, we are now beginning to enter into the period known as “The Valley of Decision”. The entire world will go through this day of decision.

.

Now as we look out at the world, we can see that the political, social and religious condition can easily be compared to a hurricane. Things that seemed as solid as the proverbial “Rock of Gibraltar” are being turned upside down! The marriage institution, the public school systems, the churches, the militarization of the eastern religions, the business community, and even our very nations. It all seems to be falling apart, exploding, imploding, or whatever term most aptly applies: it’s happening! It’s all topsy-turvy!

CITIES OF THE NATIONS FALLEN

Listen to this passage from Revelation 16:19… “…and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.”

Yes, the western nations have grown weak and now appear to be crumbling. The eastern religions seem to be merely moving in and taking over, without much of a struggle! The schools are now beginning to promote immorality and atheistic ideologies. The courts are no longer following the rule of law.

.

Churches are beginning to embrace sexual perversion, divorce & re-marriage, lusting for money-getting, materialism, proud-careers, sensual music, and seemingly every other societal sin, though to a lessor degree.

TITANIC: METAPHOR OF THE WORLD

Now with both the world and the churches seemingly coming apart at the seams, the decision to forsake this hopeless and dying world seems to be a very easy one.

After all, when the Titanic was sinking, there wasn’t too much decision-making about whether or not to abandon ship! (of course, there weren’t enough life-boats available, and so many could not escape, and later drowned)

.

And so very much like the Titanic, is the current world situation! Everything seems to be falling apart!

.

Listen again… “and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.” Revelation 16:19

SATAN: A SIDE-WINDER!

.

But here’s the main point to this devotional. Yes, we are now in a terrible political-moral-religious storm! Nobody with any common-sense can deny that!

.

But what we need to understand is that Satan is like a wily serpent. And as we know, serpents (snakes) make all sorts of twists and turns! They do not travel in a straight direction.

.

And as this world-wide moment in history, called “The Valley of Decision” comes into its fullness, Satan just might back off for time. In other words, we might just enter the eye-of-the-storm, spiritually speaking. That is, there could very well be a little season of peace and tranquility which comes over the world.

“BE NOT DECEIVED!”

.

Now, the Bible repeatedly warns Christians to “Be not deceived!” And so, we must not be fooled by such a time of so-called “peace and safety”.

Listen to Scripture… “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” 1st Thessalonians 5:3

.

Now, the Christian who is still trying to decide whether or not to forsake this world and all its glittering allurements, will be assailed from every direction! Family, friends, church-members, and all the various voices in society (television, radio, Internet, etc.), will attempt to turn that Christian away from entering into the Ark of safety.

“PEACE, PEACE, WHEN THERE IS NO PEACE!”

Jeremiah 6:14

.

Yes, the Valley of Decision is about to sweep over the whole entire world! And yet Satan knows that if things seem safe and peaceful, then many undecided individuals may tragically develop a false sense of security. And thinking that all is “peace and safety”, they may make the fatal decision to not enter the Ark of Salvation.

.

Just like the antediluvian world back in Noah’s day, many today may just mock at the idea that the world is about to end! And let’s face it! There were 7 days of calm, just prior to that great flood of destruction.

DON’T BE FOOLED!

.

And so, if the world extends a few years longer than we have expected, we must remember that there is always a calm before the storm.

.

Let’s not foolishly misdiagnose the situation!

VALLEY OF DECISION CONSTELLATION GROUP…

Look eastward in the early summer through fall. Find the Cassiopeia Constellation. Cassiopeia is the Mount of Blessing.

.

In the sketch, it is the farthest mountain to the left. In the sky, it is the northern-most of these three mountains when facing eastward. It resembles a pyramid. Then find the next pyramid to its right (south). Then go a little further south to the next third pyramid. The third snow-cap is the Destroying Mountain Constellation. These three pyramids are the snow-capped portion of these three mountains in this sketch. (of course, you won’t see the snow-caps in the sky. They appear in mid-summer in the eastern skies in pre-dawn hours. These are made of Cassiopeia (mount on left), and various stars from the Andromeda Constellation (valley) Pegasus (Mount of Cursing (middle mount) & Destroying Mount (right)), and Pisces (Broad Way to Hell). The galaxy which appears to be climbing the Mountain of Blessing is the Andromeda Galaxy.

Revelation 9, Part 2: Scorpions!

9:18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
9:19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails [were] like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.
9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

What most Christians are not aware of, is that the Book of Revelation is all about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That’s why it is titled, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ”. Revelation 1:1

.

And why is there so much confusion about Revelation? The problem is, like so much of the Bible, Revelation is written in types and symbols. And since the earthy and sensual churches have been given a false, unbiblical hermeneutic which forbids a spiritual interpretation of those types and symbols, the greater portion of the Church has been locked out of most all the Book of Revelation! Satan has successfully locked them out!

NOT SEARCHING THE BIBLE

.

For instance, if the average evangelical church-goer wishes to discover what locusts represent in Chapter 9, they cannot simply do a word-search about locusts. If they did, they would soon discover that locusts represent God’s judgment on worldly-minded Christians as their earthly as well as spiritual riches get “eaten up” in various ways.

.

But because they are locked out, they vainly search newspapers, trying to interpret Scripture by the daily news! And so, they may decide that those prophetic locusts will actually be something like black helicopters.

THE GOSPEL IN TYPES & SYMBOLS

And so, because of this devilish hermeneutic which prevents them from spiritualizing away all the types and symbols found in Revelation, the vast majority of church-goers cannot discover that Revelation is merely the Gospel of Jesus Christ, howbeit veiled in Old Testament types and symbols.

Now let’s examine another component of this composite beast in Revelation 9: scorpions…

“TAILS LIKE UNTO SCORPIONS”

Listen… “And they (the composites beasts) had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.” Revelation 9:10

This above verse is part of the description of the composite beast in Revelation 9.

So just what do scorpions represent in Scripture?

CHASTISED WITH SCORPIONS

Listen… “And (Rehoboam) spake to them (Israel)…saying, My father made your yoke heavy, and I will add to your yoke: my father also chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.” 1st Kings 2:14

OK, so Rehoboam, the King of Judah made this threat against the Northern Tribes of Israel that he was going to lay upon them a much heavier yoke than His father, Solomon did! And as if Solomon’s yoke wasn’t heavy enough, Rehoboam’s yoke would be even heavier, chastising them with scorpions!

DWELLING AMONG SCORPIONS

.

Now let’s dig a little deeper and find out if there is any further information about scorpions… “And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them (the children of Israel), neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.” Ezekiel 2:6

OK, so here we see just what these scorpions represent: God’s rebellious house!

And so here is another piece of the puzzle in understanding the Gospel found in Revelation’s types and symbols.

APOSTATE CHURCHES ARE A CHASTISEMENT

And our association with the apostate portion of the Church will be a chastisement with scorpions, as we suffer the slander and gossip and judging and world-loving ways of the apostates which have ruled over the Church throughout the New Testament history. Yes, even back in the Dark Ages, God’s faithful remnant were scourged by the apostate churches which ruled over Europe in those days!

God’s people were banished, tortured, imprisoned, burned, beheaded and deprived of the Bible and lived under her (the Mystery Harlot’s) false doctrines for many centuries!

And so these scorpions and locusts begin to give us a picture of the nature of this composite beast of Revelation 9: it represents the chastisements and tribulations which God brings upon His people, the Commonwealth of Israel, which is made up of both Jews and Gentiles.

Listen…“And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on My name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is My people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.” Zechariah 13:9

Yes, God must send His people through the fiery trials and tribulation required to burn away our earthly dross, so that we eventually come forth as pure gold, just as Job proclaimed… “when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold!”

THE HOLY GHOST RIDER CONSTELLATION

.

This newest Signs Of Heaven Constellation (Fall, 2013) is by far the faintest of constellations, but is a very incredible and awesome one in a number of ways (which this article will explain).

.

It is primarily comprised of the Camelopardalis Constellation (head and upper back), plus about 5 stars from the Cassiopeia Constellation (his leg), plus some random stars. It appears as an outline of a rider. Only the back of his head is detailed. And his back and the back of his legs are also detailed. Both sides of his arm are visible, and his hand is gripping the horses mane, and that is detailed by three stars (which are also part of the horse’s mane). The rider is in a position vaguely similar to a race-horse jockey. The two brightest stars in this constellation, are from the Cassiopeia Constellation, and are part of his leg. All the rest of the stars are very faint, and must be viewed on a very starry night.

Since this constellation has just been revealed, there may be more to this constellation in the coming months. But if you can locate the Goodly Horse in Battle Constellation, then you shouldn’t have too much trouble locating this Rider Constellation, provided you have excellent star-watching conditions.

BIBLE VERSES PICTURED IN THE HEAVENS

THIS STAR-CHART: This is a Wikipedia star-chart, in which this site’s editor has sketched in these three constellation (without the Holy-Ghost-Rider Constellation). Notice how the right front hoof is trampling on the tail of the Dragon. Also notice his eye is a star.It’s best seen when in the western half of the sky. It is found in mid-sky traveling from east to west. In January, it is in the west after midnight. As winter progresses, it can be seen earlier and earlier in the evening. a dark sky with good star-visibility is best, but not absolutely necessary to see this constellation. It is found on the opposite side of the Dragon Constellation from Orion. And as already stated, this Goodly Horse Constellation can be seen best in mid-winter when it is in the western side of the sky, and you are looking at it while you are facing west. The nose and head of this horse is partly made from the Perseus Constellation. The tail and rear end is partly of the Cassiopeia Constellation. The hind-leg is made partly of stars from the Andromeda Constellation.
