Part 17 “Which Rainbow Will You Cling To?”

“I do set my bow in the cloud,

and it shall be for a token of a covenant

between Me and the earth.

And it shall come to pass,

when I bring a cloud over the earth,

that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:

And I will remember my covenant,

which is between Me and you

and every living creature of all flesh;

and the waters shall no more

become a flood to destroy all flesh.

And the bow shall be in the cloud;

and I will look upon it,

that I may remember the everlasting covenant

between God and every living creature

of all flesh that is upon the earth.”

Back in the early years of what is now referred to as, “The Sexual Revolution”, the first “Gay-Pride rainbow” was created, a rainbow-like symbol having 8 colors (adding the color pink to symbolize “female sexuality”).

THE RAINBOW: CHRIST’S EVERLASTING COVENANT OF SALVATION

Now, it’s oddly interesting that the gay community has chosen the rainbow to be their symbol. As this above passage from Genesis reveals, the Rainbow was given by God as a token of Christ’s “everlasting covenant” of Salvation with every living creature, that God would never again destroy the earth by a flood of waters.

“Whereby the world…is reserved unto fire against…ungodly men.”

2nd Peter 3:7

Of course, the Bible also reveals that the flood of Noah’s day was and is a fitting sign and precursor of the coming Day of fiery Judgment…“Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: is reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” 2nd Peter 3:7

.

And so, considering this above prophecy by the God of Peter, it is more than just a little ironic that the gay community would ever want anything to do with the rainbow as their symbol, since it not only symbolizes the ever-lasting covenant of Salvation, but also points forward to, “fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.”

And let’s not forget that Sodom was destroyed by “fire & brimstone”, (which you can still walk around that area and still find balls of brimstone, even today!)

“6”: THE NUMBER OF “MAN’S WORKS”

.

And even more interesting is, that Satan (working through unbelievers), has now reduced the gay community’s 8-color rainbow down to only six colors. In the Bible (and in nature), the number, 6, represents the number of man.

If we read Revelation chapter 13 we see that the mark of the beast is “the number of a man; and his number is 666”. Revelation 13:18

.

And so, just how does this man-contrived 6-color rainbow relate to 666?

“6” DAYS OF LABOR

.

Well, if we read the fourth commandment, we see the number 6 refers to the 6 days of labor. “Six days shalt thou labor and do all thy work but the seventh day Sabbath of the Lord”.

.

Here is revealed that man is commanded by God to labor 6 days, before he is to rest upon the 7th-Day Sabbath. And truth-be-told, the 6 days of labor symbolizes mankind’s futile efforts to enter into God’s spiritual rest, represented by the 7th-day Sabbath. In other words, the 6 days of labor which we are to rest from are the labors of sin and unbelief…

“Come unto Me, all ye who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest…unto your souls” Matthew 11:28.

.

**Here is the true meaning of “six days shall ye labor” spoken of in the 4th Commandment: the labor of sin and unbelief.**

THE 6TH COMMANDMENT: “THOUGH SHALT NOT KILL”

Exodus 20:13

But also, the number 6 also refers to the 6th commandment which deals with murder: “Thou shalt not kill (murder)”. We are all guilty of murdering Jesus, “The Prince of Life”. Acts 3:15

.

And so, the 7-colored rainbow is a symbol of the Everlasting Covenant.

.

And yet, will society then steal that rainbow, the sign of God’s Everlasting Covenant, which He paid for with His own blood and with His own life? And then, make a mockery of that holy sign, misusing it for an emblem of society’s lust for sexual promiscuity?

.

Because, let’s face it, our sins resulted in the murder of the Son of God. And murder is what the 6th Commandment is all about!

So here are three sixes: The number 6 representing “man”, or, “mankind”.

.

But the number 6 also representing mankind’s “6 days of laboring in sin, without entering into God’s 7th-day Rest” found in the 4th commandment.

.

And lastly, the 6th Commandment concerning murder, which resulted from Mankind’s sins (including the sin of Sodom).

.

So, in essence, the 6-colored rainbow is a fitting representation of the mark of the beast: 666: man (Man’s number being “6”), and his godless works (the 6 days of laboring in sin, without entering into God’s 7th-day Rest), which ultimately leads to his own death (murder of Christ as well as self-murder, both of which are brought about by our sins) transgressing the 6th Commandment.

THE 7TH DAY REST UNTO YOUR SOULS

In contrast to this 666 rainbow, the true rainbow which God created, has seven colors. And of course, the Bible speaks of the 7th-day Sabbath. The 7th day is a day of rest…“Come unto Me (Jesus), all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” Matthew 11:28, 29

“For the wages of sin is death”

Romans 6:23

.

And so, God’s 7-color rainbow has to do with Sabbath rest, whereas the so-called “gay-pride rainbow” has to do with man and his vain works of which the wages of those vain human works of sin, is death, even as it is written…“For the wages of sin is death” Romans 6:23.

And God rewards our “works of the flesh” with the ultimate wages for our sins: death.

.

Like never before, mankind is engaging in murder, which God will render our wages for our dead works on Judgment Day!

.

For instance, just think about the millions of innocent little children ruthlessly slaughtered in the “safe-haven” of their mother’s womb, each year in abortion mills!

.

Do we think that God is just going to simply overlook this heinous atrocity committed against innocent little babies? And many in this land who pronounce themselves to be, “peace-loving, live-and-let-live, pacifists” willingly support, even celebrate abortion, which is nothing short of dirty rotten murder!

WHICH RAINBOW WILL YOU CHOOSE?

And so when you get right down to it, this true 7-color rainbow and this counterfeit 6-color rainbow each represent two entirely different kingdoms: the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Satan.

.

Therefore, the question which needs to be answered is this: “Just which rainbow will you choose? Which rainbow will you cling to?”

.

The 6-color rainbow representing lost and fallen mankind?

.

Or the true 7-color rainbow representing the rest we have in Heaven’s Jesus, “The Prince of Life” and mankind’s only hope for redemption? (see Acts 3:15)

.

(And don’t forget that now-defunct 8-color rainbow spoken of earlier, and how it actually represents that false 8-color rainbow’s true creator, “the god of this world”, Satan? (see 2nd Corinthians 4:4))

But since the early days of Gay Rainbows, the gay community has now changed from original 6 and 8 colors, to 9-colors, and then to 10-colors, and even 11-colors!

And so, it’s not surprising that this Babylon-world-system has decided to change their Gay-Rainbow to 9-colors, then to 10-colors, etc…

So confusing!

But mankind’s changeable and fickle ways, only make God’s 7-colored rainbow that much more glorious!

Come Unto Me (Jesus) All Ye Who Are Weary And Heavy Ladened, And I Will Give You Rest…Unto Your Souls…”

Well, if there’s any good news here (and there’s actually a whole lot of Good News here!), it is that God’s 7-color rainbow is still appearing up there in the sky on rainy days, and is a type of peace symbol from God, offering Salvation through Jesus Christ, to all mankind! In other words, God is inviting all those who are weary and heavy-laden to enter into His everlasting rest.

.

And that is why you need to choose and cling to the true 7-color rainbow over the other spurious, fake-rainbows! Because only God’s true 7-color rainbow holds out any actual hope for lost souls!

THE RAINBOW A SYMBOL OF CHRIST’S EVERLASTING ATONEMENT

And so, the gay community has indeed made a significant statement with their man-contrived 6-8-9-10-11-color rainbow flag.

Because God is a lover of souls, and he would love nothing more than for each and every lost soul of the human race turn back to Him and turn and repent from our rebellion against Heaven. This is what the true 7-color rainbow is all about: the “Everlasting Covenant of Salvation” through Christ’s shed blood on the Cross.

Yes, all sinful/selfish lifestyles of this world will only ultimately bring anger, sorrow, hate, unrest, sickness, suffering, suicidal-thoughts, and ultimately eternal-death!

Nevertheless, the Heavenly City of Zion which awaits us is a goodly land in which, “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4

And in that joyous land, we will live forever, forever happy, and forever young!

“Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing?

and one of them shall not fall

on the ground without your Father…

Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings,

and not one of them is forgotten before God?”

Many pet owners are sad because they are fearful that throughout eternity, they will be separated from their beloved pets.

TWO SPARROWS

.

But the Bible speaks of the fate of animals in several different places

.

Here is one of those places…“Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father” Matthew 10:29

.

This verse gives us just a hint that our God even notices the little birds who fall to the ground in death.

TWO TURTLEDOVES CONSTELLATION

.

And to our surprise and astonishment, God has even etched a constellation which reminds us of this above verse.

.

Yes, the Two-Turtledoves Constellation depicts two birds flying the heavens, both in the same direction. Of course, this constellation has been dubbed by ancient pagan astronomers as Sagittarius. But God’s original intent was to inscribe two birds flying in the same direction as Arcturus, who is leading his sons in a northwest direction.

.

“NOT ONE OF THEM IS FORGOTTEN BEFORE GOD!”

But there is a similar verse which speaks of, not just two sparrows, but of FIVE sparrows…“Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?” Luke 12:6

.

Now this above verse says it in even stronger language…“and not one of them is forgotten before God?”

.

Now we read that “not one of them is forgotten before God!”

.

“The creature itself also shall be delivered…”

.

And if these two verses do not give us hope for these creatures, just listen to this next passage…“For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of Him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.” (please read Romans 8:18-23)

.

So here it promises that “the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

.

So here God states that the creature will also be delivered from this doomed world!

.

Two Turtledoves (Sagittarius)

.

CREATURE = CREATION

.

And if one does a word study it is discovered that the Greek for “creature” can also be translated as “Creation”. And so, this above passage speaks of not only the creatures of the earth, but of the entire Creation itself being delivered from this doomed planet into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. And this reminds us of this next verse…“Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:31

.

One very curious aspect to this Two-Turtledoves Constellation is that this same constellation also appears as the Ark of the Covenant Mercy Seat in which blood sacrifices were to be made. This constellation, Sagittarius, is an optical illusion, appearing as two flying birds, but also, as the Ark of the Covenant!

.

But these two birds appear to be flying away, as though they are escaping that judgment of certain death.

.

Well, we will just have to wait until Judgment Day to discover exactly what God is saying in that aforementioned passage of Romans 8.

.

Nevertheless, it gives all of us great hope and at the very least, something to cling to concerning the unsaved on Judgment Day!

.

THE TWO TURTLEDOVES CONSTELLATION… This constellation appears in early spring in the south. It moves from east to west during the night and slowly moves to the western horizon by fall. GOD’S LAST CALL

So these Two Turtledoves are a sign of witnessing to a lost and dying world. And it may just be that these Two Turtledoves are a sign of God’s last message to the world!

Yes, the Bible says… “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” Luke 21:25-27.

And so, if these signs are a fulfillment of Luke’s prophecy, then these Two Turtle-Doves are a symbol of God’s last message of mercy to this world!

Habakkuk Says “Run!”,

Part 19:

“Like Hind’s Feet…to Walk Upon Mine High Places”

and He will make my feet like hinds’ feet,

and He will make me to walk upon mine high places”

“The Book of Habakkuk the Prophet”, is expressly for the last hours of earth’s history, when God warns His people to run…

“And the LORD answered me, and said,

‘Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables,

that he may run that readeth it.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time,

but at the end it shall speak, and not lie:

though it tarry, wait for it;

because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

But what vision is it that Habakkuk was shown that we must take heed to as it speaks to us in that very hour?

Listen…“Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.” Habakkuk 1:4

Here is the crux of the problem for God’s people! God tells us that in that final hour of time, the corrupting influences of the Chaldeans (Babylonians, i.e., the unsaved peoples of this Babylonish antichrist world-system) will become so overpowering that our only safety will be to “RUN!”, just as surely as Lot fled out of Sodom!

But the obvious question is, “Just where are we to run to? After all, the forests and wilderness lands are all locked up by no-trespassing laws!”

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine”

2nd Timothy 4:3, 4

Well, as we read the last chapter of Habakkuk, God uses veiled language to signify that the fig tree shall not blossom, and the fruit of God’s vineyard will be destroyed and his cattle will no longer be in his stalls, etc….

.

In other words, in allegorical language, the Lord here reveals that the church-world will be in shambles, spiritually. No safety or refuge there!

But then God makes this next statement…“The LORD God is my strength, and He will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine high places.” Habakkuk 3:19

So, what is this verse saying to us?

Listen to Paul…“And (God) hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: Ephesians 2:6

.

**Okay, so that’s great! But just how is such a miraculous thing to be accomplished, that we are actually able to, “sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus”?**

.

“ye are the temple of God!”

.

We must remember that God has declared…“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” 1st Corinthians 3:16

Oh, so these heavenly places where Christ is sitting are actually within us if we are genuine Believers!

.

**Certainly those “heavenly places” are high enough, are they not?**

.

“But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags;”

Isaiah 64:6

.

But truthfully, can any of us actually say that God has made our feet “like hind’s feet to walk upon mine high places”?

.

Not really!

.

Truth-be-told, most of us, rather, are more assured that we’re just a bunch of losers, spiritually speaking: a “motley crew”, and a “ship of fools”, as they say.

.

And the Devil never ceases to beat us over the head about just how unchristlike our lives really are, at this present hour!

DAVID FINALLY DELIVERED FROM ALL HIS ENEMIES

Well if we go to Psalm 18:33, we read about David…“He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places.”

.

But this above verse isn’t telling us anything new, except that David had achieved this blessing. And that’s nice for him.

.

But let’s read the introduction of that same Psalm…“A Psalm of David, the servant of the LORD, who spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies” Verse 1 of Psalm 18

.

So here it is! It was in the day when God gave David victory over all his enemies.

RUN CHRISTIAN, RUN!

.

And so, here is our challenge! We need to “run”, as Habakkuk warns us.

.

And as this website repeatedly informs us, we have been chosen to be a royal priesthood before God. In essence, we are the New Testament, “sons of Levi”, spiritually speaking, God’s royal family of priests.

.

“But ye are…a royal priesthood, an holy nation”

1st Peter 2:9

**Therefore, because we are chosen to be, “a royal priesthood, an holy nation”, the encouragement to all of us is, that we should be doing every thing possible to live up to this high and holy calling.**

And our hearts, being the temple of the Lord, is where we are to minister together with Christ, our eternal High Priest.

So, the challenge goes out for each of us to live out our lives from the vantage point of the Most Holy Place of the heart, as we minister together in “heavenly places”: the heavenly and holy place of our sanctified heart.

And if we continue on in “the good fight”, and not lose heart, we will finally say along with David and Habakkuk…“He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places…and He will make me to walk upon mine high places.” Psalm 18:33 & Habakkuk 3:19

.

And then, for the remainder of our days, it may just seem as though we are literally standing in that Most Holy Place, looking down at the world below through a great window!

THE ORIGINAL DIET

Listen to what Mankind’s original diet was to be comprised of…“And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.” Genesis 1:29

So here is revealed that Mankind was to live entirely on fruits, seeds, and herbs.

And to all that He created, it is written…“And God saw every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was very good.” Genesis 1:31

.

And let’s not forget that this diet was to sustain Mankind forever. There was no death in that garden!

“EAT…FOR STRENGTH!”

But if only evolution proponents would turn away for a moment from their fixation on fossilized bones and refocus upon all the living things which God has created, they might just be awakened to how utterly amazing are the various creations, which fruit is part of!

Yes, the vast varieties of fresh fruits which are available are a real testament to God’s loving care for His human family!

.

And those who choose to live on a diet of fresh produce quite often enjoy a higher degree of health than those who live on the standard diet of today’s society!

JESUS ATE FOR STRENGTH

But having said all this, it is nonetheless true that this website actually endorses the diet which Jesus lived on as the ultimate diet for Mankind.

.

And an integral part of His diet is the temperance which Jesus exercised on a daily basis. In other words, Jesus mostly ate only one or two types of food on each meal.

.

And of course, Jesus often went without food, for one reason or another. And we might all pray for such moral strength to likewise go on occasional times of fasting. It would be for our increased health to do so.

“…the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour”

Of course, we can’t forget that the Christian has an adversary who stands ready to oppose any attempt to imitate Jesus.

And so, those who would like to follow their Master in the area of diet, will undoubtedly encounter many obstacles along their pathway to Heaven.

Nevertheless, we must keep praying and keep striving for victory in this and in every other area of following Jesus!

May the Lord give us all strength to overcome all!

HEAVENLY OBJECT LESSON

“Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.” Isaiah 24:23

.

When God created the Moon and the stars, He ordained them to “rule the night” (Gen. 1:16). The Moon, especially when it is full, can light your pathway through the night, as it reflects the light of the Sun.

.

So too, the Christian is to be a light to the world: to this sin-darkened world. But as the Moon must reflect the light of the Sun, in order to be a light to the world, so also must the Christian reflect the light of Jesus, to be a spiritual light to this planet in rebellion. Listen…

“Ye are the light of the world…Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

.

However, during an eclipse, the Earth passes directly between the Sun and the Moon, preventing that sunlight from shining on the Moon’s face. This is an incredible object-lesson about when the child of God allows the world to come between him and his Lord. Like the eclipse, that person no longer reflects the light of Jesus, because his or her love of this dark world of sin has eclipsed the light from the “Sun of Righteousness” (see Malachi 4:2).

Who Is The Rich Young Ruler?

Part 4 “Going Through a Needle’s Eye” CONTINUED

THIS IS A CONTINUATION OF THE JUNE 2ND DEVOTIONAL (CLICK HERE TO BEGIN READING THAT JUNE 2ND DEVOTIONAL)

“JESUS…LOVED HIM”

.

Now back to the subject of the impossibility of a rich man entering into Heaven.

.

As already said, it says in Mark 10:21…“Then Jesus beholding him loved him…”

.

Yes, Jesus loved this young man. And most likely, Jesus saw into this man’s heart, that the young man was desperate to find something that was missing out of his life. After all, it says in Mark 10:17…“there came one running, and kneeled to Him…”

.

This young man realized that something was missing from his life. He ran to Jesus! That is why this young man said to Jesus…“All these things (commandments) have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?”

.

Yes, in spite of all his earthly wealth, and in spite of all his supposed commandment-keeping, he didn’t have “the peace which passes all understanding”! He realized that he was still a lost soul, and probably was often tormented with that awful truth!

.

“…NO PEACE, SAYS MY GOD, TO THE WICKED”

Isaiah 57:21

.

But this rich, young ruler was still NOT ready to forsake all, to follow Jesus. He needed more time. And yet, all his riches could bring him no happiness, nor peace, nor contentment. And so, “…he went away sorrowful…” Matthew 19:22

.

And this is how God quite often works in the hearts and lives of so many who seemingly “have it all!”

.

Yes, they have their wealth, their attractiveness, their possessions, their talents, their personality and wit and charm, etc….

.

But they just cannot seem to ever find true peace and joy and agape love!

.

“THERE IS NO PEACE…TO THE WICKED (THE UNSAVED – Ed.)”

.

Listen to Isaiah’s assessment… “But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.” Isaiah 57:20, 21

.

Now here is a very revealing statement by Isaiah! Those who are lost souls (and nominal Christians) cannot enjoy what Jesus calls… “Rest unto your souls”. Matthew 11:29

.

No, until that man, woman, or child begins to fully follow Jesus, there can be no peace and quiet in the soul.

.

After all, the Apostle Paul says…“But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.” 1st Timothy 6:6-8

.

Yes, Paul makes this giant statement (which is so often brushed aside, ignored, or rejected altogether by too many of today’s church-goers).

.

MANY SORROWS COME UPON THE RICH

.

But just listen to the reason why Paul warns us against being rich…“But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” 1st Timothy 6:9, 10

.

So Paul gives us the warning about the curses which come upon those who willingly seek after this world’s wealth: temptations, hurtful lusts, destruction, perdition, and many sorrows!

.

“FLEE TO THE MOUNTAINS! (FLEE TO JESUS, “THE MOUNTAIN OF HIS HOLINESS)”

Mark 13:14 & Psalm 48:1 & also see Psalm 125:2

.

But then, Paul gives this very unpopular advice…“But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith…” 1st Timothy 6:11, 12

.

The Lord, through Paul, counsels us, yea WARNS US to “flee these things!”

.

“…HE CANNOT BE MY DISCIPLE”

.

And so, that rich young ruler was discovering for himself, that all his youth and talents and possessions and high station in life could never satisfy his poverty-stricken soul! All his vain attempts at commandment-keeping could never bring him life and peace and joy and rest unto his soul! He was a rich young man, but he was poverty-stricken in his soul!

.

It is as Jesus said to His disciples…“So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be My disciple.” Luke 14:33

.

“GOOD NEWS FROM A FAR COUNTRY!”

Proverbs 25:25

.

But the very Good News is found in the last segment of this story…“When His disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:25, 26

.

Here is the really wonderful thing about our loving Savior! He can take a really selfish individual, and secretly chasten that person until the day that this person is ready to say (as that old song sings)…“Take the world, but give me Jesus!”

.

Yes, while so many persons outwardly seem to be living a charmed life, the Lord can quietly and secretly perform a work in their hearts to remove their love of this world with all its earthly pleasures and vain riches.

.

“YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN!”

.

And because that rich, young ruler was not finding true peace and joy in spite of all his many talents and possessions, it is very likely that God continued to perform a work in that young man’s heart until some later time when he finally decided to forsake all to follow Jesus.

.

Oh no, Jesus was probably already finished with His earthly ministry by the time this happened. But just at the right moment, whenever that was, that rich young ruler realized that his life was empty, unhappy and unfulfilled.

.

He then, no doubt, knelt down and begged the Lord to truly give him that life-changing experience, referred to in John 3:6…“Ye must be born again!”

.

“THE THINGS OF EARTH WILL GROW STRANGELY DIM!”

.

And if he actually did truly became Born Again, he then could relate to that old song, “Turn your eyes upon Jesus! Look full in His wonderful face! And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace!”

.

Yes, the longer we serve Him, the less that those tinsel-like treasures and vain earthly pleasures hold an attraction for us.

.

And then, the more we live by God’s great and precious promises, the greater will be our peace and joy and rest and satisfaction in being a follower of Jesus!

THE NARROW GATE STARS

.

This can even be observed into June in the western sky (for a short time just after dark). While a dark night is best for seeing the Woman Constellation, the 4 stars which comprise the Narrow Gate/Wide Gate Stars can be seen even under mediocre conditions. It begins with the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation (AKA Ursa Major) going towards these two doors.

.

The sketch to left shows, the two doors are each composed of two bright stars. The two bright stars that comprise the Narrow Gate are the two brightest stars of the Orion the Reaper’s sickle. The two stars that comprise the ‘Wide Gate’ Stars are the two brightest stars of the wave of water that comes out of the Dragon Constellation’s mouth (for explanation of “Wave of Water”, just click here). The stars that make up the ‘Narrow Gate’ are about half the width of the Wide Gate (see sketch to left).

WIDE & NARROW GATES IN THE HEAVENS

“JESUS…LOVED HIM”

Now, back to the story of the Rich Young Ruler. Notice that it says in Mark 10:21…“Then Jesus beholding him loved him…”

.

Now, why in the world would Jesus love this obviously selfish young man? After all, he was rich! He had most of his life still ahead of him! And he was a ruling authority!

.

He was a rich, young, ruler!

.

Well, obviously, Jesus had something in Himself, which caused Him to love this wealthy young ruler.

“THE FIRE…SAYS NOT, ‘IT IS ENOUGH!'”

Proverbs 30:16

Now this is the same sad condition that many faithful church-going people are in. They have their talents, their good looks, their youth, their many material possessions, their big bank accounts which assure them that they’ll never go hungry or homeless.

Yes, many in this world have so much to live for, and so much to enjoy.

.

But the sad truth is, that all those things do not make a person truly happy nor content.

.

No, selfishness is like a fire burning within a man’s soul, that needs to be constantly fed to keep it burning.

.

And so, those who are still seeking after the things of the world will never find true satisfaction.

.

Their hearts are constantly clamoring for more!

“…THE RICH MAN SEEKS AFTER A STOMACH!”

Another problem with so many people in this affluent society is that we often have too much. It was Herbert Shelton, the great health reformer who once said…“A poor man seeks after a meal, while the rich man seeks after a stomach!”

.

In other words, a rich person quite often overeats, or over-drinks, or has too much entertainment, or too much of this or that or the other thing. And so, with constantly having too much of this life’s goods, his enjoyment level is drastically reduced!

.

But a poor man might find a few slices of bread and some soup, and actually enjoy them far more than that rich man’s banquet-extraordinaire!

“THE ABUNDANCE OF THE RICH WILL NOT SUFFER (ALLOW) HIM TO SLEEP!”

And furthermore, those who do not have true faith in God often worry about losing their health. Every new spot that appears on their body often makes them fearful, “Do I have cancer?”

.

And many souls are in constant turmoil because of so many other questions and concerns! “Will my spouse leave me? Will I lose my job? Or lose my money? How can I keep up with all my debts? Why do my children misbehave?”

.

The Bible tells us…“The sleep of a laboring man is sweet, whether he eat little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.” Ecclesiastes 5:12

.

Yes, here is a profound contrast between the rich and the poor. And this further confirms that riches and possessions are not the way to find true happiness.

“GIVE ME NEITHER POVERTY NOR RICHES”

Now, this contrast between rich and poor doesn’t necessarily demand that we must become poor, to find happiness.

Just listen again to the Wise Man…“Two things have I required of Thee; deny me them not before I die: Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Lest I be full, and deny Thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the Name of my God in vain.” Proverbs 30:7-9

Here we begin to find some balance between being rich or being poor. Having enough is important. But having too much can be detrimental!

“IF ANY PROVIDE NOT FOR…HIS OWN HOUSE…HE…IS WORSE THAN AN INFIDEL”

1st Timothy 5:8

On the other hand, those with families must provide the necessary comforts for their loved ones. The Christian must try to please his or her family, as far as possible.

.

Of course, there has to be balance here as well. And while the Christian must work to provide for his or her family, that same Christian must please Heaven and Heaven’s Jesus, first and foremost!

.

No, the Christian must not become so involved and enamored in the world that he forgets to keep his mind on Jesus and His Words of Life!

.

Great and precious promises must constantly be hidden in the heart. “O how I love Thy law (Thy Word)! It is my meditation all the day!” Psalm 119:97. There has to be copious amounts of Bible study, contemplation, and prayer through every Believer’s day. And so, the Christian has to strike that proper balance in everyday duties.

THE NARROW GATE STARS

.

This can even be observed into June in the western sky (for a short time just after dark). While a dark night is best for seeing the Woman Constellation, the 4 stars which comprise the Narrow Gate/Wide Gate Stars can be seen even under mediocre conditions. It begins with the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation (AKA Ursa Major) going towards these two doors.

The sketch to left shows, the two doors are each composed of two bright stars. The two bright stars that comprise the Narrow Gate are the two brightest stars of the Orion the Reaper’s sickle. The two stars that comprise the ‘Wide Gate’ Stars are the two brightest stars of the wave of water that comes out of the Dragon Constellation’s mouth (for explanation of “Wave of Water”, just click here). The stars that make up the ‘Narrow Gate’ are about half the width of the Wide Gate (see sketch to left).

“Going Through a Needle’s Eye”

“And, behold,

one came and said unto Him,

Good Master, what good thing shall I do,

that I may have eternal life?…

…Then Jesus beholding him loved him,

and said unto him…

…If thou wilt be perfect,

and thou shalt have treasure in Heaven:

and come and follow Me.”

As this above passage tells, that rich young ruler ran to Jesus to find out what was missing out of his life.

But when Jesus revealed the truth to him, it was more than this young man could endure!

And after that rich young ruler went away sorrowful, Jesus explained the impossibility of a rich man entering into Heaven…“It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” Matthew 19:24

Now, there are many pastors who might say, “Well, the camel had to bow down to get through that gate, and so must we be humble in spite of our earthly wealth and attainments to enter into God’s kingdom.”

The fact is, you must add to God’s infallible Word to come up with such rubbish!

No, the Bible speaks of sewing, but never speaks of such a gate called, “The Needle’s Eye Gate”!

But being rich is not just about one’s bank balance. No, there are many factors which determine a person’s wealth.

*Youth and good health make an individual feel rich.

*Or their charismatic personality.

*Or having a good sense of humor.

*Or high intelligence.

*Or various talents.

These are just a partial list of the qualities which makes a person rich in the world.

HEAVENLY BANKRUPTCY

But these same qualities quite often make that worldly-rich person bankrupt in the sight of Heaven!

And why is that?

.

Why do these qualities often cause spiritual bankruptcy?

Because they quite often begin to knit the heart of that individual to this self-seeking world. And they can cause that person to enjoy all the accolades that such coveted qualities will undoubtedly bring from the world.

Now upon closer examination, it is discovered that there are 7 very little stars being swept away by this wave of water.

Just who do these 7 stars represent?

Well, the number “7” speaks of God’s perfect peace, His “Rest unto your souls”. (see Matthew 11:28-30)

WHO DO THESE 7 STARS REPRESENT?

So, do these 7 stars represent God’s people being carried away by the floodwaters of the Dragon?

Listen to Isaiah…

This above prophecy from Isaiah is actually concerning the churches and denominations in these last hours of time.

And the “one man” spoken of in the above verse represents Christ.

Well, the Good News is, that God’s true sheep will not be swept away in the floods of Satan’s deadly deceptions!

But rather, God is now calling His sheep to, “come out of her (Mystery Babylon), My people, lest ye partake of her sins and receive of her plagues – Ed.”. Revelation 18:4

.

**And so, if we have “and ear to hear”, then let’s heed the call to join the end-time exodus out of these apostate organizations.**

And rest assured that our Lord has supplied us with abundant heavenly bread and copious draughts of the life-giving waters of grace! (see Isaiah 30:25 & 33:16)

But listen again to Revelation, Chapter 13…“And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. ” Revelation 13:15-17

Here in this above passage is revealed a world-wide scenario of totalitarianism, “…AS MANY AS would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And HE CAUSES ALL…that NO MAN might buy or sell, save he that had the mark…” Revelation 13:15-17

ANTICHRIST FORCES ON THE MARCH!

So, when will this totalitarian world-system happen? Or are we now seeing such a totalitarian world beginning to be formed?

Oh yes, it seems that right this very minute, the world is going through a metamorphosis in which the entire world is becoming a place which no longer tolerates true biblical Christianity!

Laws are being enacted, and even private entities are closing their doors to any group or person whom they do not like.

“THE GOD OF THIS WORLD”

2nd Corinthians 4:4

But do not imagine that this great paradigm shift is merely the efforts of humans.

**No! Truth-be-told, this is nothing less than the fulfillment of Revelation 13, now being orchestrated by that wily “serpent of old”, Lucifer, Satan, the Devil!**

**And now we are seeing the hate-filled “god of this world” beginning to operate with leopard-like speed, as he morphs this world into a giant spider-web.**

GOOD NEWS!

Well, there is still Good News to be received, in spite of this seemingly horrendous and hopeless situation! Yes, there is deliverance for all those who desire to “escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:34

.

Listen to the entire quote from this passage in Luke’s Gospel… “And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:34-36

Here is the remedy! To keep ourselves from allowing Satan to wrap us up with all sorts of earthly entanglements, so that we cannot spend the proper time praying, studying, and contemplating God’s Word.

No, we must now instead begin to hide His great and precious promises in our hearts, while at the same time, shutting off as much of the world-loving influences which Satan has been polluting our hearts and minds with!

And we have many promises for all true worshipers of God, such as this…“Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ…For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure…” Philippians 1:6 & 2:13

With such promises as this, how can God’s people possibly fail!?

ARK SEEN IN HEAVEN

The above verse from Revelation, speaks of God’s Temple in Heaven being opened. But this great constellation the Sagittarius Constellation is actually being the constellation of the Ark of the Covenant. So these two events (the Ark in Heaven seen, and this Ark in the night-sky revealed) go hand in hand simultaneously. Noble Bereans,

Part 59:

“Go Into The Highways & Hedges!”

So, in this little series, the subject of those noble Bereans has been introduced. And today, it is still worthy of a little more exploration into another area of concern.

.

Let’s review the key Bible passage… “And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming there, went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Acts 17:10, 11

.

AN OPEN-MINDED SPIRIT IN BEREA

.

Okay, so those in Berea were more noble, because they:

.

1. “Received the Word with all readiness of mind.”

.

2. “And searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”

.

And so, the Bereans were ready to receive new teachings, which no doubt, conflicted with the supposed, “orthodox” teachings of that day.

.

Thus there was an open-mindedness which permeated their hearts, and a willingness to search the Scriptures daily, in hopes that these seemingly new teachings were indeed true!

CAMPING AND WHITE BOTH IN AGREEMENT

.

Well, it’s too bad that Harold Camping didn’t understand Ellen White’s ministry.

.

Yes, Harold Camping thought Mrs. White to be a false prophet.

.

But had he explored her ministry more closely, he would have discovered that she taught many similar truths which he also taught!

PARABLE OF THE GREAT SUPPER

For instance, both White and Camping taught that those who profess to serve Christ must prove this earnest desire by their undivided daily devotion to Christ. Yes, there are many church-goers who profess to serve Christ, but in reality, their love for this present selfish world takes precedence over all heavenly matters. And both Camping and White cautioned their hearers about this, on a daily basis, throughout their long earthly ministries (Harold Camping for about 54 years, and Ellen White for about 70 years).

.

And both Camping and White lived by this same all-consuming devotion to Christ.

.

Yes, Ellen White lived from early morning to late at night, writing letters, books, and counsels for churches, schools and health-sanitariums. She also voluntarily gave of her time and means to help others who were in need.

.

And Harold Camping, with his shepherd’s heart, devoted 5 or 6 hours daily to Bible study. The rest of his day was spent in management of his world-wide ministry at Family Radio (which sadly became apostate soon after his death).

AUDIO CONCERNING THE GREAT SUPPER

Now at the bottom of today’s devotional is a 36 minute audio reading of Ellen White’s book, Christ Object Lessons, on the Parable of the “Great Supper”.

This Chapter 18 is an incredible discourse on what true devotion to Christ should be. Conversely, this chapter also illustrates how pre-occupation with the world will prove that the religion of many church-goers is vain and worthless.

A WORLD-LOVING CHURCH TODAY

Now, this parable of the Great Supper, not only is a personal message for individual souls, but also is a great prophecy for today’s church-world which is filled with world-loving church-attendees, who are preoccupied with worldly endeavors, all to the bankruptcy of their souls.

Yes, in the very nations which once rejoiced in the Christian Reformation, Satan has caused to turn away from the Gospel, in pursuit of the earthly pleasures and worldly treasures.

.

And the Church to a great extent has joined in with the secular world in seeking after much of the same selfish world-loving pursuits!

“COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE!”

And as a result of our earthly-minded pursuits, the Lord is now moving away from the apostate churches and denominations, and instead, calling all those who have nothing to lose: the poor, the homeless, the addicts, the hungry, and anyone else who has nothing to lose by joining the end-time exodus out of this world!

In other words, the Lord is going to the “highways and hedges” to call anyone willing to respond to His invitation!

PROOF POSITIVE OF CAMPING’S AND WHITE’S MINISTRY

But the very Good News is, that this agreement between Camping’s ministry and White’s ministry puts a great big giant exclamation mark on the validity of both these two ministries.

Yes, they both are indeed a dramatic fulfillment of the prophecy found in Revelation 14 concerning the messages of the three angels!

From time to time, the Book of Revelation mentions stars. But when we get to Revelation Chapter 12, it speaks of two “great signs in heaven”. First, it speaks of the sign in heaven of a woman with child.
