It only takes a glance at the world to realize that we are in serious trouble! Everything in the world seems to have gone topsy-turvy:

From the pandemic rise of sodomy,

to our decaying learning institutions,

to the attempt for global takeover by a certain Middle East religious/political group,

to the bitter and insane wars between the Political Left and Right,

to the growing hostility and even the wholesale slaughter of Christians and Jews,

to our suicidal economic policies by the national government,

to the declining morals,

to the senseless and bizarre murder accounts,

to the rapidly increasing crime rate,

to the great apostasy of the church-world!

These and other signs of decadence and destruction of things which, just a few years ago, were things we thought to be as solid as the Rock of Gibraltar!

GOD’S CUP OF FURY FOR THE WORLD!

Now our signature passage from Jeremiah seems to speak of the apparent judgments which are now falling all around us…

Listen…“For thus saith the LORD God of Israel unto me (Jeremiah);

Take the wine cup of this fury at My hand,

and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it.

And they shall drink, and be moved, and be mad,

because of the sword that I will send among them…

for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth,

It seems as though we are now beginning to drink of Jeremiah’s cup of God’s fury!

MINISTERS of MADNESS NOW RULE!

Yes, there is a madness which seems to have entered into our society:

Crazy laws which make no sense are now being enacted.

Suicidal economic policies that have no rhyme or reason are squeezing the life-blood from once great societies!

Atheists trying to destroy the divine moral code which God gave to hold the societies together, even though they know that it will destroy our nation!

It seems as if the world is going crazy! And so, when God tells Jeremiah…“And they (the peoples of the world) shall drink, and be moved, and be mad (insane)”, it sure seems that this prophecy is now coming to pass!

The big point for today’s devotional is that it appears as if the Holy Spirit is being withdrawn from its protection over the nations.

.

And of course, if the Holy Spirit is being withdrawn, then the Bible informs us that the “abomination of Desolation” will undoubtedly move in.

.

Yes, it looks as if “The Destroyer” has moved in and taken over this crazy insane world. And perhaps, this is God’s “Cup of Fury”, His removal of His Holy Spirit of protection from this fallen and rebellious world.

.

Of course, Believers have the promise…“And lo, I am with you, even unto the end of the world.” Matthew 28:20. And so, true worshipers DO NOT have to worry about the absence of God’s Spirit from their hearts. That won’t happen!

Well, there’s nothing we can do to stop all this, although there may be a concerted effort to try.

But the Bible speaks of this fateful Day which now seems to be growing!

Listen…“Come, My people,

enter thou into thy chambers,

and shut thy doors about thee:

hide thyself as it were for a little moment,

until the indignation be overpast.

For, behold, the LORD cometh out of His place

to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity:

the earth also shall disclose her blood,

and shall no more cover her slain.”

A GREAT & MARVELOUS SIGN IN HEAVEN

So how does this brightest and most well-known constellation relate to the Book of Revelation? After all, the Book of Revelation seems to be closely intertwined with the stars of heaven. And Revelation Ch. 15 is just one of those places in which Revelation speaks of the Signs Of Heaven. “And I saw another sign in heaven…” Revelation 15:1.

God here, is dropping this great big clue on us, as to just what the signs in Heaven are all about… “And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.” Revelation 15:1.

This verse speaks of a “another sign in heaven, great and marvellous”. OK, so if this is “another” sign in heaven, then one would have to go back to Chapter 12 to find the other signs in heaven. But in spite of this deception, many Christians are already getting nervous as we look around and see our society seemingly going into a rapid downward spiral.

Yes, the Old Testament was written especially for Christians. And wherever you read such names as “Israel”, or “Jews”, or “congregation”, or any other Old Testament reference, and replace these with names such “The Church’, or “Christians”, and chances are, that passage will equally apply to New Testament Christians.

LOCATING THIS CONSTELLATION GROUP…

Look eastward in the early summer through fall. Find the Cassiopeia Constellation. Cassiopeia is the Mount of Blessing. In the sketch, it is the farthest mountain to the left. In the sky, it is the northern-most of these three mountains when facing eastward. It resembles a pyramid.

Then find the second pyramid to its right (south).

.

Then go a little further south to the next third pyramid. The third snow-cap is the Destroying Mountain Constellation.

These three pyramids are the snow-capped portion of these three mountains in this sketch. (of course, you won’t see the snow-caps in the sky. They are just an embellishment in this sketch to present a concept-EDITOR).

THE VALLEY OF DECISION CONSTELLATION GROUP.

They appear in mid-summer in the eastern skies in pre-dawn hours. These are made of Cassiopeia (mount on left), and various stars from the Andromeda Constellation (valley) Pegasus (Mount of Cursing (middle mount) & Destroying Mount (right)), and Pisces (Broad Way to Hell). The galaxy which appears to be climbing the Mountain of Blessing is the Andromeda Galaxy.

Yes, this Planet Earth has been a giant experiment in which God gave us a world of selfish desires and ambitious pursuits.

But as we all know, there is nothing like experiencing something up close and firsthand, to truly discover what that something is really all about!

For example, God could have just told us about the dangers and destructive nature of a junk-food diet. But after living on a bad diet for years, we now can actually behold the detrimental effects and the resulting suffering and sorrow that such a poor diet eventually causes.

And thus it is with all the things of this present world. We humans have had enough time to try out all the inventions of this world. And for a season, we enjoyed those desires of the flesh, and those lusts of the eyes, and those proud and ambitious pursuits.

But in the course of time, we found out that all those things were “vanity and vexation of spirit”, as the Wise Man put it. Because, after our season in the sun, comes the next season: the season of suffering! Yes, next comes the time in which we must “pay the fiddler”, as the old saying goes. And more often than not, he comes at a very high price!

TELEVISION: WINDOW ON THIS SAD WORLD!

And now, with the aid of television, we can peruse this planet and witness for our own selves, all the hate, all the greed, all the violence, and the sickness and sorrow, and suffering which humanity is now having to go through.

And so, it is no wonder that every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess to God…“Yes Lord, You were right and we were wrong! Yes, this world ultimately brought sorrow and suffering. This world is truly a valley of tears! And we have paid the price for our rebellious ways!”

Peter let down his Lord by denying him thrice. But God allowed this to happen, knowing that Peter would repent, later to become one of the zealous Followers of Jesus. Probably many Christians have let their Lord down in a big way in the past. And like Peter, they have repented, likewise to become even more ardent Followers of Jesus.

The Church, in these last days, has been flooded with every device that Satan could possibly conjure up, to cast across our pathway, and lead God’s sheep astray. And though the Church has been greatly hindered, God is about to purify His sin-laden people, who will finally lift up the Cross of Christ with such power and glory, as this world has never before seen.

And the Reader may just discover the way that he or she might also help lift that Cross up. And God has inscribed in the heavens, a picture of how the Church lifts up the Cross, as they imitate their Lord. So please read this very important article. LOCATING THESE TWO CONSTELLATIONS

.

This phenomenon begins in October, in the pre-dawn hours. It then begins a little earlier each night.

.

This Wikipedia star-chart to the left, has this Orion Constellation sketched in. You must locate Orion, when it is mid-sky, between east and west. You’ll be facing southward most likely, unless you are far south. Try to imagine it as a Cross on a steep hill. The 3-star belt of Orion becomes the crest of the hill. The 3 very faint stars that make up Orion’s head become the very top of the Cross.

Next, locate the 7 Stars Constellation. This 7 Stars Constellation is seen by facing northward. It stands upright a little later in the night. Eventually, Orion will lay down and no longer be seen as an uplifted Cross! Beginning in November, the 7 Stars (AKA Big Dipper) can be seen as a Cross a little bit later in evening.

When you are comfortable in locating Orion & The 7 Stars Constellations, then show a friend. This can be a great witnessing tool!

The Book of Revelation speaks of a beast which is identified in Chapters 13, 16, 19, and 20 as “The False Prophet”.

Now, contrary to popular opinion, this false Prophet is not merely one single individual, but represents Satan’s modus-operandi in these last centuries.

THE 1ST BEAST

Well, Satan originally came as the 1st Beast of Revelation 13 during the Dark Ages, persecuting, torturing, and killing all those (and sometimes even their family members), who clung to their Bibles in opposition to the demands of the great apostate Church of that era, which used the civil governments as their enforcers.

THE 2ND BEAST

But after this brutal 1st beast received his deadly wound by a sword (the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God: Ephesians 6:13, 14), which was the printing press and all the Bibles it produced, Satan altered his modus-operandi, establishing a new and improved Beast.

The new beast, the False Prophet, was actually Satan’s antichrist spirit working in and through the unsaved members of the church as well as the entire unsaved world to deceive the earth’s inhabitants, causing them to worship the 1st beast.

THE TWO HORNS OF THE FALSE PROPHET

But before we get into some very tall weeds, let’s back out and focus on just one of this beast’s two horns. Yes, the Bible reveals that this second beast has two horns like a lamb. And of course, the Lamb of God, Jesus has two horns of power, Mercy and Justice.

And our focus today is on the Justice horn of this False Prophet.

“All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth”

Now it doesn’t take too much effort to see the two great horns of power out there in the world: the Conservatives and the Progressives, or the Capitalists and Socialists.

The Conservatives/Capitalists stand upon the pillars of law and order while the Progressives/Socialists stand on the pillars of mercy and compassion.

.

These seemingly opposing ideologies are a clever counterfeit of the Lamb of God’s two horns…“All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep His Covenant and His Testimonies.” Psalm 25:10

THESE IDEOLOGIES ALSO IN CHRISTENDOM

Now, these two opposing ideologies (‘Conservatives/justice’ and the ‘Progressives/compassion’) are very visible in the forefront of society. They are in the various media each and every day, fighting for dominance over one-another.

But if one examines today’s church-world, these two groups can also be seen, hard at work, shaping and hewing the minds of parishioners within the various organizations of Christendom.

.

And so, this two-horned antichrist spirit can be seen both in the world, but also in the church-world.

They, “shall…seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.”

Mark 13:22

And let’s face it, the apostasy of the conservative portion of the churches is much more deceptive than the liberal portion, so much so, that they, “shall…seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.” Mark 13:22

.

Yes, the many popular radio Bible teachers we hear each day seem to teach right from the Bible. And yet, the King James Bible (and perhaps even a few other versions) makes a revealing statement about true and false Bible teachers.

.

Listen…“For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little…To whom He said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.” Isaiah 28:10 

.

Here is the true means whereby a Believer can and must arrive at truth: by carefully comparing the various Bible passages on any particular subject, allowing them all to line up in such a way as to bring them all in harmony.

But the Lord complains through His prophet, Isaiah, that His disobedient children refused to enter into His truths which bring spiritual “rest unto your souls”.

No, but rather, Isaiah 28:13 goes on to say…“But the Word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.”

.

Here we see that the current-day apostasy was foretold even far back in Isaiah’s day!

“This people…honour Me with their lips; but their heart is far from Me.”

And just as Isaiah says, today’s church-world will string together their own set of Bible verses (“…line upon line, precept upon precept…”), all in hopes of allowing the apostate parishioners to continue to pursue the pleasures and ambitious pursuits of the world, while paying mere lip-service to Jesus, even as it is written…“This people draweth nigh unto Me with their mouth, and honoureth Me with their lips; but their heart is far from Me.” Matthew 15:8

Thus, the prosperity-driven gospels thrive, not only in those liberal churches and denominations, but likewise in the so-called conservative churches as well.

And even though there are a myriad of false teachers in the church-world today, the Bible refers to them collectively as “the False Prophet” as spoken of in Revelation, Chapters 13, 16, 19, and 20

The Good News (but also sad news) is, that God is calling His people to separate themselves from the overpowering influence of these false teachers, even as it is written…“And I heard another voice from Heaven, saying, Come out of her (spiritual Babylon), My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4

Yes, God is now calling His faithful ones to engage in an end-time exodus, lest we suffer the various plagues soon to be poured out upon this False Prophet which the evangelical churches have finally become…“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2nd Timothy 4:3, 4

The day has finally arrived when this above prophecy is now fulfilled!

The question that remains to be answered is this: “Will you also come out of her, this spiritual Babylon?”

7 HEADS, 10 HORNS, & 7 CROWNS OF THE DRAGON

“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.” Rev. 12:3

In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns. However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not. But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns. Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars. The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7). And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10). So we have this 7 and 10 numbering. And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent. Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).

There are many suffering the pain and discomfort of Fibromyalgia. And there are many schools of thought as to the cause and cure of this debilitating disease.

.

One credible school of thought regarding Fibromyalgia is that it is akin to Arthritis. In other words, Arthritis sets in when a person has a body filled with toxins, which collect and are stored in various body joints such as wrists, fingers, arms, etc.. And after much time, the joints begin to ache, due to inflammation of those joints.

.

Fibromyalgia, according to some, is most likely due to the same cause: toxins building up in the body, eventually causing pain due to inflammation, due to years of less-than-good health habits (others may suffer various chronic illnesses because of an inherently weak system.)

A FORM OF ARTHRITIS?

Now if one should go on to the Internet, there are many videos presenting various theories as to the cause, and many remedies for the cure (And above all, the advice of one’s own personal Physician is always advised!).

But just like Arthritis, Type-2 Diabetes, and many other chronic conditions, the best remedy may be found in lifestyle change.

.

In other words, the sufferer may find great relief by simply getting down to his or her desired weight, eating a healthful diet and getting daily exercise, if possible.

.

In many cases, the sufferer’s body has most likely experienced years of less-than-optimal lifestyle habits, causing toxins to remain in the body, instead of being eliminated through the process of breaking down and rebuilding of itself: a process which goes on day and night in every human’s body.

The great problem with all this good advice about lifestyle change, is that quite often, it’s seemingly impossible for many sufferers to lose weight, eat correctly, and exercise. We all know better than we do!

Sadly, too many of us are caught up in Satan’s proverbial “web of sin”, and cannot get loose! And so, we are seemingly helpless to do the things we know to be right and good.

.

But today’s devotional is written to offer the remedy for this seemingly hopeless human condition of, “bondage to our intemperate ways”.

“…for without Me (Jesus) ye can do nothing.”

As with many maladies, be they physical, mental, or spiritual, there is one sure-fire remedy: Salvation in the Savior of the World!

.

Yes, it is only the grace of Christ that can truly make us free from whatever imprisons us! And His Word holds out this promise…“If ye continue in My word, then are ye My disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31, 32

.

Here is the simple truth: to CONTINUE in Christ’s Word (by His grace)!

.

Only by such a patient daily continuance in the Bible, can any soul be truly made free!

.

In other words, it is not an hour, or a day, or even a month, or even a year that we seek Him. No, but rather it is through a lifetime of seeking the knowledge of God, that truly sets a Believer upon the pathway to victory! And that pathway to physical, mental, and spiritual healing is a journey, howbeit a hopeful one (even though the victory has already been won on the Cross!)

One great reason for such a lifetime sojourn is that God’s greatest desire is for us to become purified and changed into Christ’s glorious image!

And so, the Lord works carefully and patiently with us, day-by-day, week-by-week, month-by-month, and even year-by-year, to sift us, to chasten us, to purify us, to mold us and make us into the glorious image of God.

And as time goes by, the Christian gradually increases in faith, trust, and obedience, as he or she allows God to daily perform His purifying process upon our hearts and lives.

A SAD & VERY BAD LUCIFERIAN WORLD

Yes, an important part of tasting and seeing that the Lord is good is to also behold the evil in the world which has resulted from Mankind’s rebellion against the ways of Heaven.

In this way, Heaven has provided us with Lucifer’s alternate plan for the “happiness” which he promised us back in the early stages of his rebellion…

“And the serpent (Lucifer) said unto the woman,

Ye shall not surely die:

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof,

then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods…”

Genesis 3:4, 5

Thus, we can make a clear-eyed comparison between the two forms of government: Heaven’s ways, and the ways of Babylon, the hellish kingdom of this Luciferian world!

THIS WORLD IN STARK UNBELIEF!

One great problem is that most people cannot distinguish between what is from Heaven, and what is from Hell. In other words, the world teaches us that there is no Devil, he’s just a myth based on human ignorance and superstition.

And so, if anybody gets the blame for all the evil in the world, it’s probably going to be God.

.

Well, God does indeed allow evil to exist, but only in hopes that Mankind will be repulsed by that evil and turn back to God.

“Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings.”

Jeremiah 3:22

Listen to Jeremiah’s assessment of God’s goodness…“It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not…They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness…But though He cause grief, yet will He have compassion according to the multitude of His mercies. For He doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men…Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.” Lamentations 3:22, 23, 32, 33, 40

Here is a great revelation into the mystery of why God allows evil to exist: in hopes that Mankind will finally realize that Heaven’s ways will bring everlasting joy and contentment. And conversely, that we finally learn that the ways of selfishness will ultimately lead to unhappiness, sickness and finally death.

Well, the Good News is that today is still the day of Salvation. And all those who are tired of all this woe and misery can turn back to the everlasting ways of Heaven.

And Jesus still holds out His outstretched arms and lovingly calls out to us all…“Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

Yes, Jesus offers His joy and His “rest unto your souls”, right now!

HEAVENLY OBJECT LESSON

.

“Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.” Isaiah 24:23

.

When God created the Moon and the stars, He ordained them to “rule the night” (Gen. 1:16). The Moon, especially when it is full, can light your pathway through the night, as it reflects the light of the Sun.

.

So too, the Christian is to be a light to the world: to this sin-darkened world. But as the Moon must reflect the light of the Sun, in order to be a light to the world, so also must the Christian reflect the light of Jesus, to be a spiritual light to this planet in rebellion. Listen…

“Ye are the light of the world…Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

.

However, during an eclipse, the Earth passes directly between the Sun and the Moon, preventing that sunlight from shining on the Moon’s face. This is an incredible object-lesson about when the child of God allows the world to come between him and his Lord. Like the eclipse, that person no longer reflects the light of Jesus, because his or her love of this dark world of sin has eclipsed the light from the “Sun of Righteousness” (see Malachi 4:2).

Do you remember that old nursery rhyme song, “Ring Around The Rosies”?

.

Listen…“Ring-a-round the rosie,
A pocket full of posies,
Ashes! Ashes!
We all fall down.”

Well, many of us sang that little song when we were just very young.

.

After all, it seemed harmless enough.

.

THE BLACK DEATH!

.

Well, legend has it that this little children’s rhyme came out of the Great Plague era of London, otherwise known as The Black Death! And its “innocent” little words are poetically describing the various details of that plague!

.

For instance, “Ring around the rosie” was purportedly speaking of the color of the skin just prior to the plague breaking out.

.

And posies were commonly carried about by the people to hopefully ward off that plague, and cover the disease-smell with a perfumed scent.

.

When the words “we all fall down” speaks of the totality of that disease, as it eventually killed off many citizens.

.

And finally, when those words were sang, the last one to fall down was eliminated from the game.

.

Well, you get the picture, don’t you? 

.

In other words, the little children of that era sang this “cute” little diddly, as the townspeople were being carted off after dropping down dead in the streets of London!

.

How sick! How macabre! Such horror and sorrow for those citizens of London during that era!

.

And well, so much for that “happy” little children’s song!

“AND THE NATIONS WERE ANGRY!”

Now back to our current times.

Just a quick examination of today’s world and one might conclude that God is presently withdrawing His protection away from the world and bringing us into Judgment!

And this all reminds us of the prophecy found in Revelation…“And the nations were angry, and Thy wrath is come, the time of the dead, that they should be judged…” Revelation 11:18

.

Truly, the nations are angry! Murderous thugs in the Middle East.

.

Violent rhetoric in this land!

.

Rogue religion moving in and taking over Europe!

.

Schools here and abroad now beginning to groom young children into sexually perverted lifestyles!

.

Increasingly insane and hateful voices shouted by the public on social media platforms!

.

Truly, it appears as if the world is going mad!

.

And this is the time for God’s Judgment to begin to fall upon the world!

For, behold, the LORD cometh out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.” Isaiah 26:20, 21

Yes, it’s time for God’s people to flee from the wrath to come and to hide themselves under the protective wings of God, “till the indignation be overpast!”

THE ARK IN THE HEAVENS

.

So what importance to us is all this information? Well, if a person goes out at night, beginning in April (earlier in southern-most latitudes, and later in northern-most), in the pre-dawn hour, they just might locate the constellation commonly referred to as the Sagittarius Constellation . It is located in the southern sky. (Each night it appears a little earlier, slowly inching westward, through the summer, until it finally disappears below the western horizon in November.)

.

At first, it simply appears as two twin birds flying westward. But if you look once again, it just might appear as a long box-like figure, with one star on the right, as you face it, and two stars on the left. The box, of course would be the Ark, and the stars on either side would represent angels, which are sometimes referred to as stars in the Bible (for instance, “the seven stars are the angels…” Revelation 1:20). To the right is a star-chart from Wikipedia, in which the editor of this site has sketched in this Sagittarius Constellation, to show how God created it to appear.

Yes, it seems that Satan is now on the march! He and his vast army of unseen evil angels are goading the world’s inhabitants to turn against all that is good and godly, it seems.

But even here, these politically protected entities are even being manipulated to oppress the freedoms which Christians have long enjoyed for many decades.

RUN CHRISTIAN, RUN!

Well, as the prophet Habakkuk forewarned, it is now time for Christians to “RUN!” And many similar Bible warnings likewise tell us to “flee to the mountains” in these last moments of time.

.

And so, knowing that “all things work together for good to those that love God” (Romans 8:28), let’s not ignore this incredible wake-up call, and begin to use any remaining time to good account, as we “cram for our finals”, so to speak! Yes, there is no more time to dilly-dally in the world as we have been doing for much too long!

.

As the Bible tells us…“Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD’S vengeance; He will render unto her a recompence.” Jeremiah 51:6

7 STARS IMITATE THE CROSS OF ORION

.

 This phenomenon begins in late October, in the pre-dawn hours. It then begins a little earlier each night, and lasts for several months, until they both appear to lie down once again.

.

This Wikipedia star-chart to the left, has this Orion Constellation sketched in. You must locate Orion, when it is mid-sky, between east and west. You’ll be facing southward most likely, unless you are far south. Try to imagine it as a Cross on a steep hill. The 3-star belt of Orion becomes the crest of the hill. The 3 very faint stars that make up Orion’s head become the very top of the Cross.

.

 

Next, locate the 7 Stars Constellation. This 7 Stars Constellation is seen by facing northward. It stands upright a little later in the night. Eventually, Orion will lay down and no longer be seen as an uplifted Cross! Beginning in November, the 7 Stars (AKA Big Dipper) can be seen as a Cross a little bit later in evening.

When you are comfortable in locating Orion & The 7 Stars Constellations, then show a friend. This can be a great witnessing tool!

These are the faithful witnesses found in all of nature, which proclaim the praises of their Divine Maker!

Or looking up at the vast and awesome expanse of the heavens!

Or riding a horse!

.

Or feeling the accomplishment of a good day’s work!

Or being glad to get back home!

.

Or relaxing in one’s favorite chair!

.

Or watching the dancing flames of a bonfire!

.

Or telling stories or singing songs around the campfire!

HEAVENLY OBJECT LESSON

.

“Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.” Isaiah 24:23

.

When God created the Moon and the stars, He ordained them to “rule the night” (Gen. 1:16). The Moon, especially when it is full, can light your pathway through the night, as it reflects the light of the Sun.

.

So too, the Christian is to be a light to the world: to this sin-darkened world. But as the Moon must reflect the light of the Sun, in order to be a light to the world, so also must the Christian reflect the light of Jesus, to be a spiritual light to this planet in rebellion. Listen…

“Ye are the light of the world…Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

.

However, during an eclipse, the Earth passes directly between the Sun and the Moon, preventing that sunlight from shining on the Moon’s face. This is an incredible object-lesson about when the child of God allows the world to come between him and his Lord. Like the eclipse, that person no longer reflects the light of Jesus, because his or her love of this dark world of sin has eclipsed the light from the “Sun of Righteousness” (see Malachi 4:2).

.
