The Book of Daniel tells about King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of a great statue, made of various metals.

.

This statue has been interpreted as representing the various kingdoms which would rule the earth, beginning with Babylon of Daniel’s day, and ending in our day. And this would seem like a plausible idea.

.

Now while the head of the statue in his dream was made of gold, representing Babylon, this statue devolved into lessor metals until our day, down to the feet made of iron mingled with clay (clay, not even being a metal!).

THINGS GETTING WORSE, NOT BETTER!

.

Well, to put it very concisely, this statue was signifying that Mankind was not getting better, not “evolving”, but actually “devolving”, growing worse and worse with each new ruling kingdom.

From the head of gold, to the arms and breast of silver, to the loins of brass, to the legs of iron, to the feet of iron mingled with clay: a downward regression!

.

DECADENT & DIVIDED WORLD TODAY

.

So, now that we are at the very end of time, we are no longer made of gold, nor silver, nor brass, nor iron! No, we are now down to the feet of this statue, which are made of iron mixed with clay! The worst! There’s little nobility nor glory remaining in Mankind! 

.

Now, it is very interesting that Scripture says concerning the iron and clay… “And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided… And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.” Daniel 2:41, 43

.

So this above passage, it would seem, speaks of our time today as a period in history when the people are divided and separated.

DIVIDED WORLD TODAY!

Yes, as we look around this fallen world, we begin to notice that various people-groups are separating themselves.

.

There is a growing division between the various ideologies of Man!

.

Some call for “diversity”! Others call for “racism”! Still others call for religious supremacy! Still others call for gender supremacy! And many are steeped in political division!

.

Yes, it’s a very divided world today, wouldn’t you agree?

.

Oh well, there are many quarters in today’s world in which Mankind gives the appearance of unity.

.

But we need not look far to see a growing division on many fronts!

POLITICS: A GREAT DIVIDE!

Well, today’s devotional will focus on political division!

.

Yes, there seems to be two main divisions in the world in the realm of politics: the “Right” and the “Left”. And this goes right along with Nebuchadnezzar’s dream in which he saw this image with the right foot and left foot made of Iron and Clay.

.

Now, without getting too technical about all this, let’s just focus on one aspect of the political divide in this society.

.

There is an ever-increasing political hatred between these two groups. Indeed, one could call it a war between these two ideologies, growing increasingly fierce with each passing day!

POLITICS & THE CHURCH-ELECT

.

Now, to keep today’s devotional from getting too broad, let’s just keep this topic focused on how all this concerns the Christian community.

.

And so, the great question that we Christians must ask ourselves is this: “Do I really want to get myself mired down by all this hate and strife? Do I really want to allow my time and attention to be diverted from my commission from God, to become transformed into the image of Jesus that I might become a faithful witness to the world for Christ?”

.

You see, the image which Nebuchadnezzar saw in his dream was not the image of Christ! No, it was just the opposite! It was and is the image of fallen Mankind, who by the way, are conformed to the image of, “the god of this world”, Satan! (For reference, see 2nd Corinthians 4:4)

.

A FORM OF GODLINESS WHICH DENIES GOD’S SPIRIT

.

Oh yes, there is an element of godliness in today’s political ideologies! One group claims to have mercy and compassion! And the other claims to have justice and righteousness and morality! Yet, as the Bible warns, these ideologies have, “a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away ” 2nd Timothy 3:5

.

True, there seems to be a form of godliness in this fallen, sinful world.

.

But this above passage warns that it is a counterfeit goodness! Not the real thing! Void of God’s Holy Spirit! Completely worthless! Deadly and deceiving!

.

And so, as 2nd Timothy 3:5 concludes, “from such, turn away!”

.

WHY IMMERSE MYSELF IN HATE?

.

And so, dear-soul-for-whom-Christ-died, why would we even want to be involved in all the hatred between these two groups?

.

Oh yes, Satan makes it easy to simply turn on our high-tech devices and jump into the fray! And politics has become a spectator sport in these last days!

.

And there are these elements of godliness, which often come so close to true Christianity!

.

But we must not be deceived! They are merely a form of godliness, but not the real thing, being void of God’s Spirit!

.

Listen… “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” 1st Corinthians 15:33.

.

We must not let anyone deceive us! As this above verse reveals, evil communications will corrupt our hearts!

.

.

.

“COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM!”

.

So let’s not allow ourselves to be deceived by these look-alike ideologies! We just don’t have time to allow ourselves to become diverted from our great commission to become changed into the image of Christ! And with all the hatred between these two groups, why would we want to allow all that ungodly yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees to permeate through our hearts?

.

Listen… “Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.” Matthew 16:6.

.

After all, God commands us to purify our hearts! Not to pollute our hearts!

.

Listen… “And every man that hath this hope in Him (Christ) purifies himself, even as He (Christ) is pure.” 1st John 3:3

THE GOOD NEWS!

.

But the Good News here is, that it is still the day of Salvation! And though we have only a little time left, we can still flee to the mountain of God for refuge! We can still hide ourselves in the clefts of that mighty Rock!

And we have this promise… “Wherefore He (Christ) is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.” Hebrews 7:25

LOCATING THE DRAGON

REVELATION 12 DRAGON IS NOT DRACO!

First, let it be stated, that this Dragon Constellation is not the same constellation commonly referred to as “Draco” (photo to right is Draco).

This Revelation 12 Dragon from Signs Of Heaven, has not been previously recognized. But you will discover that it is a very intricate and complex constellation, once you are comfortable locating it (picture below, right).

The Revelation 12 Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months. The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield.

This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull. The Dragon’s tail-tip is Pleiades and the lower shaft of his tail is partly of Aries  and Pisces. Then with aid of a dark and starry night, you may begin to connect the mouth and the tail with a very long body in an oval shape. The front and back legs are made of a few stars: the front legs partially of stars from Taurus . The back legs and rear fin are made of 6 stars from the Cetus Constellation.

BODY HARD TO SEE

The long oval-shaped body has relatively few stars, but can been seen, howbeit with a dark, starry night. The four stars of the front fins are made partially of Taurus .

“Habakkuk Says “RUN!”

“To Possess the Dwelling Places That Are Not Theirs”

“For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, 

that bitter and hasty nation,

which shall march through the breadth of the land,

to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs.

Their horses are swifter than the leopards,

and are more fierce than the evening wolves:

and their horsemen shall spread themselves,

and their horsemen shall come from far;

they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat.”

This above prophecy of Habakkuk concerns the very day which we are now in!

And many are astonished that this world of unbelievers (Chaldeans) is aggressively attempting to possess the soul-temples of the general populace!

It’s getting downright frightening just how bold the authoritarians are becoming in their attempt to control the hearts and lives of the masses!

“And the LORD…said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables…but at the end it shall speak, and not lie…”

And only in this day is it God’s will for that little Book of Habakkuk to be opened up to our understanding, as is written…

“And the LORD…said, Write the vision,

and make it plain upon tables,

that he may run that readeth it. 

For the vision is yet for an appointed time,

but at the end it shall speak, and not lie:

though it tarry, wait for it;

because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

Habakkuk 2:2, 3

Here above, is revealed that Habakkuk’s vision thus prophesy’s, “for at the end it shall speak”. And the way God kept this vision hidden is two-fold. First, it is written in allegorical language. And second, only now are events unfolding which dramatically fulfill this prophecy.

“Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth”

Perhaps the most overtly glaring fulfillment of this prophecy from Habakkuk is found in the following passage…

therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.”

Like never before has there been a time in which the world has had access into the hearts and minds of God’s people and their children, as we see in this current day!

The loudest voices of this ungodly world, via television, Internet, radio, books, magazines, schools, signage, etc., have been given direct access into the souls of God’s people! And these high-tech devices are so powerful that they are extremely hard to resist!

Incredible images, enchanting music, powerfully persuasive words, alluring and charismatic spokespeople are leading the public into Satan’s worldwide web with its silken cords of soul-entangling delusions!

Yes, this high-tech world can send images around the world in mere seconds, thus fulfilling Habakkuk’s allegorical description…

“Their horses also are swifter than the leopards,

and are more fierce than the evening wolves”

Today’s high-tech world is a grand and startling fulfillment of this above prophecy!

Yes, working through unsaved workers of iniquity, Satan has created a high-tech army, “swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves”.

But just what is Satan’s ultimate goal in all this mass indoctrination?

Here we see that it is Satan’s purpose to cause Chaldeans (abject unbelievers and false brethren) to take control of dwelling-places (the hearts and minds) of God’s people…

Listen to this next verse regarding God’s people as the dwelling-place of God…

“And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?

God’s people are supposed to be His “dwelling places”…

“as God hath said, I will dwell in them,

and walk in them; and I will be their God,

Here we see that God’s great desire and purpose is to indwell within the hearts of humans: to fill them with His divine Spirit of unselfish love! To become His divine tabernacle!

THE WORLD NOW AN INDOCTRINATION CENTER!

However, even in the public-school systems and public libraries, a great army of demonically-driven teachers and administrators are aggressively taking control of the souls of young and impressionable children, confusing them by pushing upon them, deviant life-choices and atheistic ideologies!

So, in light of this horrific situation, just what can God’s people do to save themselves and their children?

Listen to the conclusion of Habakkuk…

“The LORD God is my strength,

and He will make my feet like hinds’ feet,

and He will make me to walk upon mine high places.”

Habakkuk 3:19

.

This is where we must go…“to walk upon mine high places.”

.

Here we begin to discern that God’s people must go in these final hours, as it says in Habakkuk 2, “to walk upon mine high places.”

“flee to the mountains!”

.

But the very next question is, “Just where do we RUN? Where can we hide from the aggressive soul-robbing tactics of the Chaldeans (Babylonians, i.e., unbelievers)? Where are those ‘high places’ which the Prophet, Habakkuk, speaks of?”

.

After all, the Bible warns us, that in the last hours of history…“But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains.” Mark 13:14

.

Here again is allegorical language to say that God’s people dwelling in Judea (the “Jerusalem above” Galatians, Ch. 4), must flee to the mountains, even as Lot fled out of Sodom on the morning of its destruction! These are the “high places” spoken of in Habakkuk 3:19.

.

And of course, those familiar with this website understand that the mountains we must flee to are spoken in Psalm 125:2 are spiritual mountains… “As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about His people from henceforth even for ever.”

“But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem”

Hebrews 12:22

In other words, the only truly safe-haven for God’s people in these last moments is heavenly Zion…“And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.” Revelation 14:1.

.

Of course, this 144,000 is a spiritual, not a literal number. And Mount Zion spoken of here is a spiritual mountain, not a literal mountain, even as it is written…“And (God) hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:” Ephesians 2:6

.

Putting these above three verses together it becomes more evident that Mount Zion is a spiritual mountain, “the heavenly Jerusalem” in which our hearts and souls abide, even while down here on earth!

“Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart; and YE SHALL FIND REST UNTO YOUR SOULS!”

Matthew 11:29

And so, dear Pilgrim and Stranger, we have our work cut out for us…to “Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest”. Hebrews 4:11

.

This “rest unto your souls” must be fully entered into! And this perfect peace and soul-rest will increase porportionately to the degree in which a Believer trusts and obeys the “exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust”.

And God promises to give us all the help we need…“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” With promises such as this, how can we fail!?

REVELATION 12 WRITTEN IN HEAVEN

“And there appeared a great wonder (or sign) in heaven; a woman…And there appeared another wonder (sign) in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads…And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God…And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.” Rev. 12:1, 3, 6, 15

Here is a sketch of this Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12. This is the Winter Constellations of Signs Of Heaven. Besides Orion and his Horse, we also see pictured in this sketch, the Dragon of Revelation 12.

This Revelation 12 Woman Constellation is fleeing. As you can see, the Dragon Constellation is spewing a flood of water in her direction, as is written… “And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.” Revelation 12:15. This wave of water represents Satan’s lies, and his false teachers who tell those lies.

Yes, the television/movie industry is Satan’s advertiser-in-chief for this high-tech world.

And, well, God wasn’t taken by surprise in His foreknowledge of Satan’s last-day arsenal of weaponry.

Nor was He ignorant of the Devil’s modus-operandi! As a matter of fact, God had created Nature in such a way, so as to teach us all about Satan’s deceptive ways!

Take for instance, the little seductress, the Photuris, commonly known as the femme fatale lightning bugs of North America. These alluring little lightning bugs can imitate the mating-signals of light which female fireflies emanate in order to attract the male firefly into mating rites. But when these alluring impostors make contact with the naive male firefly, they quickly gobble up that unsuspecting firefly.

Yes, just imagine this happy-go-lucky little firefly, joyfully buzzing about the summer night air, giving his light for all the world to see! And then, he spots a certain flashing light off in the distance, giving that unmistakable love-light signal that tells him it’s another firefly of the opposite gender! And she wants him!

And so, this naive little light-bearer responds to her love-light signal! And off he goes, straight into a deadly trap, set by this predatory impostor! And before he realizes the impending danger, he flies right into her seductively treacherous arms!

And in a few seconds, he is no more!

CHRISTIANS ARE ALSO TO BE LIGHT!

Well, the obvious lesson here is seen when considering the Christian, who has been commissioned to “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.” Matthew 5:16

Yes, just like those wonderful little fireflies, the Christian is to let his light shine for all the world to see!

.

And God has given him, or her, the joyful commission to let their light be a soul-saving beacon to those who walk in darkness in this hopeless world!

SATAN’S COUNTERFEIT LIGHT

Now Satan, of course, wants to put that light out!

The last thing Satan wants, is for the Christian to be a beacon of light for all the world to see!

And so, Satan has kept himself very busy inventing counterfeit Christians, in hopes of mingling his false light with the true Light!

.

And how does Satan accomplish this? In many different ways!

.

For one thing, the Bible tells us that Satan will raise up false shepherds, who will, “if possible, deceive even the very Elect”! (see Matthew 24:24)

UNEQUALLY YOKED

Another way Satan seeks to gobble up the young and naive Christian, is to bring some femme-fatale across that Christian’s pathway.

Oh yes, she’s good looking and very alluring! And before long they have a church wedding, followed by a life of going further and further away from the true pathway to Heaven!

.

Yes, this femme-fatale seductress has a form of godliness: just enough to fool the simple-minded Believer!

.

And just like that counterfeit little Photuris Lightning-bug, this Counterfeit Christian seductress sends out a signal of light to that naive Christian, and eventually gobbles up whatever Christian goodness he ever did possess!

WHO CONVERTS WHO?

Perhaps, in the beginning, the Christian said to himself, “Well, I know she’s not much of a Christian! But maybe I can eventually convert her! After all, she promised to faithfully go to church with me, if we marry!”

Well as we all know, the only one who gets converted, is the Christian…converted back into the world!

Yes, before long, she has made him the sole-provider of all her worldly dreams and aspirations! And after a few years, his life is so hopelessly devoted to striving after all the accouterments of this life, in attempt to satisfy the insatiable desires of his prosperity-driven soul-mate!

(Of course, this above scenario is equally true when a female Christian becomes unequally yoked with an unbelieving male!)

WORLD TAKES PRECEDENCE OVER HEAVEN!

And so, Jesus gets put on the backburner! The world takes precedence over the things of Heaven!

Oh yes, they go to church each week! And this once-a-week Christian warrior attempts to please God with a two-hour offering of church attendance, followed by six days of laboring for the things of the world! (And yes, they may do a 15-minute Bible study each morning. But all that is quickly dissipated, as soon as the mundane-millstone begins its daily grind!)

But the Bible says… “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. ” Matthew 6:24

THE GOOD NEWS!

The very Good News is, that there is nothing impossible for God!

Yes, with God, all things are possible! And just as God did not forget about His people who were taken captive as slaves in a foreign land, so too, God sees His Elect people who have become modern-day slaves in this Babylonish world! And at some point, He will bring each weary and heavily-ladened soul into the Valley of Decision!

.

And perhaps as he or she is laying in bed, after a hard and discouraging, or even sad day, a still small voice pierces the night… “Why am I putting out all this energy and self-sacrificing toil? Why am I going after all the meaningless things of the world? And after a few more decades, I will begin to get old and eventually die! And for what? Isn’t there something better? And didn’t I once love to sing about Jesus? And didn’t I once love to read my Bible? And didn’t I once believe in Heaven and all the wonderful glories of everlasting life?”

LIFE FROM THE DEAD!

Yes, there is a very wonderful and merciful light which shines down from Heaven, piercing through the dark clouds, sending bright beams of mercy even into this dark and hopeless world!

And even though that little unsuspecting firefly goes hopelessly into the deadly jaws of the femme-fatale lightning-bug impostor, the Christian who has been deceived by Satan’s impostors, has a God in Heaven who (if He chooses to), can bring him (or her) back from death and destruction!

Yes, even though there’s no earthly hope for that little firefly, yet our great Redeemer has not forgotten even one wayward sinner! And He can even turn a completely hopeless situation around!

.

And the One who was Himself, brought back to life from the dead, can now bring back those who have been gobbled up by one of Satan’s many counterfeit light-bearers!

.

And once revived, that redeemed one will finally realize that his or her relationship with Jesus is much more fulfilling, more faithful, and more joyful than any earthly relationship could ever be!

This Revelation 12 Woman Constellation is fleeing. As you can see, the Dragon Constellation is spewing a flood of water in her direction, as is written… “And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.” Rev. 12:15.

This wave of water represents Satan’s lies, and his false teachers who tell those lies.

“PROPHESY DECEITS”

“That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:” Isaiah 30:9, 10

This above passage describes this Moon-Beast to a tee! “Smooth things” are what his “itching ears” long to hear! And because this furry and adorable little forest creature (the Sadducee-Seeker) loves to have his ears tickled, the Devil has conveniently provided him with a congregation which accommodates his desires.

“HAVING ITCHING EARS”

Again, the Apostle, Paul, spoke of this condition, in the following words… “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2nd Timothy 4:3, 4

Yes, this adorable little creature of the field, loves his pastor, who, by the way, is very much like him. He loves to hear a light and playful sermon, filled with little quips and jests and world-friendly anecdotes: a gospel which tells of a god who mostly smiles down upon this, “pretty nice world, after all!“

.

And this Moon-Beast loves to hear sermons about “grace-alone”, because he is often told that grace-alone excuses him from dying-to-self. And to this poor Sadducee, that’s very good news!

.

After all, the last thing this Moon-Beast wants is to give up his life of foraging in the field. Yes, this friendly little Seeker wants a gospel which allows him to continue seeking after the cares & pleasures of this world, but with the promise of Heaven too!

THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO POLLYANNA

Oh yes, this Sadducee-Seeker’s church is under a gospel similar to that delightful movie character, Pollyanna!

You see, this congregation too, like Pollyanna, has found those 800 totally non-offensive Bible verses! That’s right, this charismatic and precocious little girl in that movie had developed a gospel of her own making (which eliminated the thousands of harder verses found in the Bible).

Yes, Pollyanna’s gospel was in stark contrast to the fire-and-brimstone gospel which her harsh and judgmental aunt liked to hear.

HOLLYWOOD STRIKES FEAR IN HEARTS OF PREACHERS

And such movies as Pollyanna (and there are many similar ones) have been a strong deterrent over the past years, against any Hell-Fire preaching in today’s pulpits.

And this itching-ears gospel according to Pollyanna, is mostly what this Moon-Beast’s pastor preaches, either by sermon, or by personal example.

Yes, his words are “smoother than butter” (Psalms 55;21), and the example of his own life speaks of “smooth things”; of fun and frolic, of amusements and hobbies. Of dreams about ambitious careers and promises of better and more affluent tomorrows. Of long life in this world, and retirement packages, affording a life-of-leisure in some little haven here on earth!

Now in defense of many of today’s pastors, it must be noted that there has been a lot of unnecessary and annoying shouting from many pulpits, in the past decades. And there have likewise been unbiblical doctrines over the centuries past, such as that heretical doctrine of carnal men, which teaches that all sinners will continually roast in literal flames of fire for all the ions of time.

THE ALL-SUFFICIENCY OF GOD

If only this Moon-Beast Sadducee-Seeker would begin to seek God with all his heart, he would be surprised to discover that the life of Jesus is a life of peace and contentment that surpasses all human logic and understanding. With such a knowledge, this Sadducee-Seeker would realize that he doesn’t need a world-loving gospel. Yes, all this Moon-Beast really needs is Jesus. Yes, Satan is the master chess-player, and has hedged us in on every side, by his lies and deceptions in attempt to corrupt the current condition of the church-world to the point that there is no more Salvation there.

But the Good News is that God is calling His people to come out of the Babylonish confusion which is the current condition of today’s churches…

God has indeed furnished a table in the wilderness. (Psalm 78:19) And for those who are escaped from spiritual Babylon will be delighted to discover that, “bread shall be given him, his waters shall be sure!” Isaiah 33:16.

Yes, our daily heavenly manna will be provided, and the waters of grace will freely flow in the spiritual mountains where we must flee!

FLOWER OF THE FIELD IN HEAVEN

This is perhaps one of the most amazing constellations that God has created. It truly looks like a flower, and appears to be blowing in the direction of westward. But as autumn draws near, this constellation appears to bow itself down, just like the flowers of Earth bow down, at the summer’s end.

And these are not merely obscure stars. These are among the biggest and brightest stars in the night heavens.

The Two Turtle-Doves Constellation is also known as Sagittarius .

The Flower of the Field is also known as Scorpio .

.

But there is another obvious aspect to this constellation group. Notice that the birds are flying in the same direction as the flower is bending; it is as if the east wind is blowing these heavenly messengers. “The wind blows where it desires, and you hear the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it comes, and where it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. John 3:8. So here is another incredible Bible concept, written in the heavens! And God has spoken of these signs! Listen… “For ever, O LORD, Thy word is settled in (the) heaven(s).” Psalm 119:89

WHY IS THIS FLOWER POINTING UPWARD?

To the right is a star-chart from Wikipedia. The editor of this site has sketched in the Flower of the Field Constellation on this constellation commonly referred to as the Scorpio Constellation (plus a few other close-by bright stars). Do you see the long blade of grass growing from the base of the Flower of the Field? This is made of the two highest stars of the Lupus Constellation, and the two lowest stars of the Libra Constellation. As this sketch shows, the flower appears to be pointing to Arcturus and the Revelation 12 Woman (shown in sketch below). Arcturus represents Jesus, as He leads His sons (and daughters) on a spiritual journey up a heavenward pathway, as is written… “Canst you bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or can you guide Arcturus with his sons?” Job 38:32.

The crude, yet oft-used expression, “Time to get out of Dodge!”, was coined back in the 1970’s from a television show based on that infamous town, Dodge City, in which Old West gunfighters were made legends by ambitious and imaginative storywriters.

And people today commonly say, “It’s time to get out of Dodge”, applying it to exiting some particular bad or undesirable situation.

And getting out of “Dodge” seems so appropriate, considering the current state of affairs in this crazy and chaotic world!

Do we even need to list the various catastrophes and abominations going on all around us today?

And yet, today’s corrupt and dysfunctional judicial system, while seemingly unable (or unwilling) to control the giant tsunami of lawlessness in our land, will instead, often arrest, incarcerate, and persecute those who merely hold to opposing political beliefs from today’s dominant-political-party-leaders who now rule over many nations!

And the current downward trajectory of the world’s evil, indicates that the situation is probably going to get much worse than it already is!

This above verse from Matthew 24:12 gives a hint about what we can expect in the coming days and is even already now beginning in our land: worldwide lawlessness and lovelessness!

.

Yes, law-and-order is now devolving rapidly!

.

And as a result of today’s lawlessness, this above prophecy is now being dramatically fulfilled…

.

Listen again…“because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold” Matthew 24:12.

Yes, in this increasingly divisive, lawless, and chaotic society, the general populace is now becoming progressively more suspicious, intolerant, even hateful of one-another!

“…the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.”

Habakkuk 1:2-4

The Prophet, Habakkuk, made the following end-times prophecy… “O LORD, how long shall I cry, and Thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto Thee of violence, and Thou wilt not save! Why dost Thou show me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention. Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.” Habakkuk 1:2-4

Thus, Habakkuk’s vision here, is for the last days of this, Lucifer’s antichrist world-system. And Habakkuk the prophet is complaining of God’s people being surrounded by the wicked, to the point that wrong and bad judgment is proceeding forth from us!

HABAKKUK SAYS “RUN!”

.

And so, just what is the bottom line to Habakkuk’s prophecy?

.

Well, listen again to Habakkuk… “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:2, 3

.

And so, this above continuation of Habakkuk’s prophetic vision gives us the warning that this vision from God is for the earth’s last hours. And at the end, this vision shall speak. And when it speaks…we are to run!

THINGS GETTING TOO HOT!

.

People around the world were shocked and horrified to see the video footage of 9/11, in New York City, in which people were jumping out of 100 story-high windows from those Twin Towers! Things had become too hot, and those poor souls chose the lessor of two evils: to jump to certain death, to escape the unbearable heat!

.

And as we look around, and we see all the destruction going on, all around us, it almost seems that God is purposely trying to make us uncomfortable! As we see the various institutions beginning to self-destruct, then maybe God is taking away our comfortable and cozy world, in attempt to wake us up! As we see our formerly “reliable and dependable” world crumbling all around us, then maybe we need to flee!

And as we see the church world caving to worldliness and unbiblical doctrines/practices, then perhaps God is giving us the wake-up call…“Get out of Dodge!”

NOAH’S FLOOD ALL OVER AGAIN!

.

Yes, it almost seems as if we are experiencing Noah’s flood all over again!

.

But the Bible warns us that this coming deluge won’t be with water, but with fire! Not only do we see our forests burning, but we even see demonically controlled terrorists now burning churches!

.

Listen… “Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” 2nd Peter 3:6, 7

.

Yes, it seems that the flood of evil, which is now sweeping over the land is perhaps the beginning of God’s fiery deluge of Judgment! Judgment Day! The “Day of the Lord”! (2nd Peter 3:10, etc…)

.

RUN, CHRISTIAN, RUN!

And we, who are of the household of faith, must flee! Things are getting too hot around here!

Listen… “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains…For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” Matthew 24:15-21

.

This above passage from Matthew seems to complement Habakkuk’s prophecy very well. Both passages declare that we must “flee from the wrath to come!”

.

But perhaps, someone might rather just simply utter that well-known worldly expression…“It’s time to get out of Dodge!”

Does the church-doctrine named “Eternal Torment” make any sense in the light of this above passage?

.

Is the church-doctrine known as “Eternal Torment” an impossible idea, in the light of all Scripture, not just some Scripture?

.

Listen again to today’s signature Bible verse…“Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?” Isaiah 58:6

.

Quite the opposite of God making people suffer eternally, this above verse instead, tells us to “undo the heavy burdens, and let the oppressed go free”!

.

So then, why would God engage us for a lifetime of discipleship, trying to teach us to NOT oppress others, and then turn around and lock up 90% or more of the world’s inhabitants in a fiery netherworld torture chamber, to be tormented endlessly?

.

Does that make any sense!?!

BIBLE EASILY MISINTERPRETED

.

The problem is, that God has written the Bible in such a way that it can easily be misunderstood!

.

Listen… “As also in all his (Paul’s) epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.” 2nd Peter 3:16

.

Yes, as this above verse reveals, the Word of God can be very deceiving to those who have not received “a new heart”, nor are filled with God’s “Spirit of truth”! (Ezekiel 36:26 & 1st John 4:6)

.

Yes, the unconverted can get into a lot of trouble with Bible interpretation! 

.

And such doctrines as “Eternal Torment” are the result of unsanctified minds presuming to become the teachers of the Bible!

.

BREAKING EVERY YOKE!

.

“Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?” Isaiah 58:6

.

This above passage from Isaiah reveals a God who hates to see humans oppressing one another! 

.

But God also says here that He hates seeing humans being shouldered with heavy burdens! And He hates to see humans suffering under heavy yokes!

.

And so, considering all the Bible passages which speak of Hell as the grave, why do so many insist that God has some netherworld torture chamber in which He will mercilessly torment each and every unsaved human for all time and eternity?

.

It just doesn’t make any sense! It totally goes against His Character!

.

NOT PROPERLY BALANCING THE SCRIPTURES

.

Oh yes, there is that parable of a rich man in flames of torment.

.

And Revelation 14 does speak of the smoke of their torment rising up for ever and for ever.

.

But those allegories must be tempered with so many other passages which say things like… “Why died I not from the womb?…For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest…” Job 3:11, 13

.

Why in the world would God allow Job to say such a thing, if God eternally torments all the Lost Ones? God would be a deceiver to allow such a misleading statement to be uttered by Job! Again, it just doesn’t make sense! It’s an impossible idea!

.

You simply cannot arrive at final truth using some verses while ignoring others which you don’t like! Which don’t align with your church-doctrine!

.

Listen again… “There (in Sheol, Hell, the grave) the wicked cease from troubling; and there the weary be at rest. There the prisoners rest together; they hear not the voice of the oppressor. The small and great are there; and the servant is free from his master.” Job 3:17-19

.

This passage doesn’t make a stitch of sense if their souls are instead being tormented for ever and ever and ever!

SOMETIMES AN ABSURD NOTION!

.

The fact is, if 90% or more of all humans who have ever lived will be eternally tormented, then the Gospel would not really be very good news for the vast majority who have lived on the earth, now would it?

.

And if your unsaved loved ones will be suffering endlessly with no hope, then Heaven would not be a very nice place to live, would it?

.

And in answer to this, most Bible teachers say that “all the former things will be forgotten”, meaning that we will simply forget about all our unsaved friends and loved ones!

.

Yes, they tell us that we won’t even give a second thought about our lost loved ones, nor all those billions of Lost Ones who are being endlessly tortured through the ceaseless ages! They tell us that we will live in eternal bliss, while those we once loved will be forever suffering intensely, without one drop of hope for God’s mercy!

.

“And we won’t even care”, today’s Bible teachers tell us, “because they’re merely getting what they deserve!”

.

FORMER TRIALS & HEARTACHES FORGOTTEN

But the fact is, when God says, “the former things will be forgotten”, He is merely saying that we won’t give a second thought to all the horrible things that we once experienced back here on earth.

.

Because, compared to the wonderful things in Heaven, our light affliction back here on earth will seem like a very light thing! (see 2nd Corinthians 4:17)

.

And so, when God says. “the former things are forgotten”, He is by no means telling us that He has our loved ones secretly locked up in a subterranean torture chamber, screaming for just one drop of mercy from a merciless God!

.

ANCIENT CHURCH DOCTRINE

.

Unfortunately this ancient church doctrine called “Eternal Torment” has somehow survived through the centuries, being based on a misunderstanding of proper Bible hermeneutics (methods of interpretation).

.

No friends, God does not have a cruel chamber of horrors in the lower regions of the earth. Nor is He the kind of Lord who mercilessly torments all those who reject His love! 

.

“O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good; for His mercy endureth forever!” 1st Chronicles 16:34 

.

What we need to do, is to begin looking at the Bible with an open mind, and fresh eyes, just like those noble Bereans, who “received the Word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Acts 17:11

EARTH: PLANET OF REST

.

Counting the Sun as the 1st heavenly sphere, the Earth is the 4th heavenly sphere.

.

If we extend our theory (and it’s just a theory) that God created our solar system to correspond to the commandments, the Sun corresponding to the 1st Commandment, then Planet Earth would correspond to the 4th Commandment: the Seventh-day Sabbath.

 .

And so, on the very planet that corresponds to the commandment that exalts the idea of “peace” and “rest”, there exists very little peace. And very little rest. Ironic, isn’t it? 

.

And so the 4th member of our solar system, being Planet Earth, will be the host for this article.

THE WORLD PERISHES!

Yes, the outlook for this present world appears very dismal, to say the least! Things just seem to get more hopeless with each and every passing day!

Now the Bible says… “Where there is no vision, the people perish:” Proverbs 29:18

.

Yes, Where there is no vision, the people perish! But it’s hard to have a vision of happy things, when everything around us seems to be going down the proverbial, “tubes”! And this world’s drama seems to be racing to its, “final curtain call!”

But the Bible tells us…“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” Luke 21:28

If ever there was a time when it is imperative to look up, it is now! This sad old world is racing toward its final fiery deluge! The signs of the times are literally everywhere!

And so, like never before we need to take our eyes off this doomed planet and refocus on Heaven’s glories!

LET’S CATCH A VISION OF THE PROMISED LAND!

.

.

“Where there is no vision, the people perish” Proverbs 29:18

.

In the beginning, God placed our first parents in a beautiful garden. But as a result of sin, this world lost much of its beauty. The curse has marred, to a great extent, the pristine condition of nature.

.

There are perhaps many, who are under the impression, that God’s redeemed will spend all eternity sitting on a puffy little cloud, strumming a harp. Nothing could be further from the truth! “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:” Revelation 21:1

.

Do we really imagine that the same God who created that incredible garden for our first parents, would then put us through all this sorrow and hardships, only to stick us in some boring situation, for eternity? Such people don’t know God nearly well enough.

.

The beauty and innocent joys of this present world, are just a faint reflection of what awaits all those who persevere on the upward pathway to that Celestial City of God.

LET’S CATCH A VISION OF THAT PROMISED LAND

.

.

So Signs Of Heaven encourages the reader to begin to get a vision of the New Heaven and New Earth, and begin to get excited about it. When we hear the cry of a new-born baby, or the innocent laughter of little children. When we see a little forest creature having fun, or we enjoy a walk along the sand at the ocean, and hear the majestic roar of the crashing waves. These, and the many other joys of life were created by the One who has also gone to prepare an even more beautiful place for us to live. He knows our needs, and will provide a home, far more wonderful than this sin-cursed Earth.

.

And when we finally cross that river, and we stand together on the shores of that world-to-come, we will look in amazement at what He has in store for us there. And then we will know for certain, that, “His mercy endures forever”, because, “God is love”!
