There is an old song which goes… “The love of God is greater far than tongue or pen can ever tell; It goes beyond the highest star, and reaches to the lowest Hell…

But the last verse of this song says… “Could we with ink the ocean fill, And were the skies of parchment made, were every stalk on earth a quill, And every man a scribe by trade; To write the love of God above, would drain the ocean dry; Nor could the scroll contain the whole, though stretched from sky to sky.”

Now what makes all this so extremely interesting, is that this verse was found scribbled on the wall of a deceased “insane” person’s cell in a psychiatric sanitarium, upon removing his corpse.

And little did this “insane” man realize, that God had actually written His love and inscribed that love on the scroll (of the sky). And God had actually stretched that picture of love from sky to sky, just as the song-verse said.

And now God has revealed this heavenly portrait of the Son of Man, writhing in pain for a planet who cares very little for Him. (These constellations span both summer and winter sky, and this constellation in this picture to the right actually appears much more curved in the sky.)

STRETCHED FROM SKY TO SKY

In 2012, this constellation was revealed. It is comprised of all the other constellations on this website, as they appear in the night-sky. The only way to really see this constellation, is to become very familiar with this website. This is because this incredible constellation spans both the summer and winter skies. This constellation is actually in a semi-circle, as it appears in the night-sky. These pictures, however, show it as it would appear straightened out.
Yes, there are many who simply want to copy-cut-n-paste John 3:16, and make it the last word on what the Bible says about what it means to being saved! “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16.”

“See here!”,they say, “See all that God requires for Salvation!”. And this simple statement has been accepted by many churches, as to exactly what it means as to be saved!
.
Well, as this picture to the right shows, these copy-cut-n-paste Christians have been around for a very long time!
And then there are others who will take that one statement from John 3:16, and add this next passage… “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” Mark 16:16.

And so now, this verse has also been copy-cut-n-pasted alongside John 3:16. And as we all know, there are many churches which make these two passages the last word on Salvation.
But then there are still others who copy-cut-n-paste this further passage… “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting [one another]:” Hebrews 10:25.

And with the addition of this verse, many churches have an acceptable creed, which demands the good work of church attendance.
Then there are yet others who copy-cut-n-paste this next passage… “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17, 18.

Now this verse really narrows down just what it means to be a Christian!

And so, the test which many congregations use, requires every person to speak in unknown languages, and pick up snakes, and drink poison and not die!
Listen to God, as He speaks through Paul… “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” 2nd Timothy 3:16, 17

OK, so this passage declares that the entire Bible is needed to properly understand what is required for Salvation.

In other words, one verse does not stand alone; nor does it cancel out any other verse.
But the child of God has been admonished to constantly study and contemplate the Bible, in effort to find out more and more about just what is Salvation, and what is God’s will for the Christian, and most importantly, just who is our great God.
And so, when someone tells you that John 3:16 says plainly that all we need to do is “believe” to become saved, then you can agree, and say “Yes, but the Bible also says…‘Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know…that faith without works is dead?'” James 2:19, 20.

And at this point you can hopefully begin a dialogue to encourage that copy-cut-n-paste Christian to begin to search the Scriptures daily to find out more and more about God, and about His glorious Salvation plan!
“Dear Lord, It is a very big task to study the whole Bible. But give me a love for Thy Word: a love which transcends all other matters of life. Give me the great joy of contemplating Thy Word, throughout each and every passing day…
In the Book of Job, thelast chapters, is found a very long lecture to Job, given by Almighty God Himself.

And in this amazing lecture, God asked Job various questions. However, the questions God asked, were probably far beyond what Job could comprehend, much less give an answer to.
.
But God did this to quell Job’s proud anger: Job’s anger, not only at Job’s “friends”, who were blaming Job’s sins as the cause of all Job’s troubles; but also Job’s anger at God, because God had brought upon Job all these troubles in the first place.
But among the various questions asked Job, were some very curious ones about the stars. And one of those questions about the stars was… “Can you guide Arcturus with his sons?” Job 38:32.

Now Job, like many ancient wise-men, probably realized that Arcturus was that very bright star in the night skies. But what in the world was God talking about, when He asked Job if he could “guide Arcturus WITH HIS SONS“? How could a star have sons?! And how could Job, a mere man, possibly guide a star?!? What strange questions for God to be asking a mere man!!
And so this puzzling question which God asked Job (“Can you guide Arcturus with his sons?” Job 38:32.), was never answered. And the Bible seems silent on this question. And so, this question has remained a mystery for thousands of years…until now.

You see, God, according to His “eternal purpose” (not to mention His infinite patience), has kept these things secret through the long millenniums…until just now!
.
Yes, God is just now beginning to reveal these mysterious signs in the heavens! And now we are discovering that God has written His marvelous love story in the heavens, using the various constellations as picture symbols. And this should be no surprise. After all, God plainly declares in Psalms… “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork.” Psalm 19:1.

But the heavens also declare God’s righteousness, as is written… “And the heavens shall declare His righteousness…Selah.” Psalm 50:6.
And the idols He (the Lord) shall utterly abolish.”
Isaiah 2:12, 16-18

“Have you ever sat down to watch a movie which was such a persuasive plea in behalf of this fallen world, that you actually began to question your Christian belief-system?”
And this is the point of today’s devotional: that Christians must not underestimate the power of television!

Yes, the “god of this world” is so cunning and so deceitful, that he can actually produce television shows which portray this horrible world in such an attractive way, that a Christian can even be drawn away from the Spirit of Holiness.

“Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.” 2nd Peter 3:17
.
And this Believer realized that Satan can put the most attractive elements of this world, combined with beautiful music, and a sympathetic story-line, and charismatic actors, and, “voila!”: this ugly and sad and suffering world, all of a sudden seems magical, almost as if it’s (supposedly) a wonderful place, to a great degree!
“BE NOT DECEIVED! EVIL COMMUNICATIONS CORRUPTS GOOD MANNERS (CHARACTER)”
1st Corinthians 15:33

In light of this present-day Hollywood deception, the following passage from the Old Testament really begins to make sense.

Listen…“Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and DESTROY ALL THEIR PICTURES, and destroy all their molten IMAGES…But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be…thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.” Numbers 33:52, 55, 56

Yes, God is trying to get our attention. That’s right, all those literal killings in the Old Testament were merely given as an object lesson about what God wants us to do spiritually.

No, no, no! God doesn’t want Christians to literally kill anyone!
.
But rather, He wants Christians to separate themselves from earthly fellowship with unbelievers, banishing their world-loving ways out of the heart!
Now, the last passage mentioned (Numbers 33:52, 55, 56, in the above section), was concerning driving out the unbelievers and destroying all their pictures.

But this next passage from Isaiah Chapter 2 concerning the Day of the Lord, even goes one step further, speaking of “all PLEASANT pictures”.

Listen… “For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low…. and UPON ALL PLEASANT PICTURES. And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day. And the idols He shall utterly abolish.” Isaiah 2:12, 16-18.

And so, this concept of God bringing His judgment against all the “pleasant pictures”of the people of the world really begins to make sense in the light of the television shows and movies which portray the citizens of this evil world as having inherent goodness.

“COME OUT OF HER (BABYLON), MY PEOPLE!”

The Bible plainly states “And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.” 1st John 5:19.
.
This above verse reveals that the “WHOLE world lies in wickedness”, not just SOME of the world.

And so, if these movies attempt to portray any portion of the people of this present world-system as being inherently good, then these movies are in direct opposition to God’s Word.
.
And God still calls for His people to, ” come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” 2nd Corinthians 6:17, 18.

Yes, as this above passage reveals, it is God’s chief desire to, “receive you and be a Father unto you.”

But we must be willing to realize that to, “come out from among them”, includes an end-time exodus away from the high-tech “pleasant pictures” now being produced by “the god of this world” with the express intention of converting us into loyal citizens of this, his Babylonish world-system!

Now, just a word of caution.

These truths from Heaven are given “for me and me alone!”

We are not to look at others with a judgmental eye.

And anyway, we just don’t know how God is working in the hearts and lives of others, nor do we know the true motives of others!

So we must simply look into the mirror and realize that, “Christ Jesus came into this world to save sinners. of who I AM CHIEF!” 1st Timothy 1:15

Yes, my own heart is filled with enough evil to keep me busy for a lifetime, trying to purify it from my own innate wickedness!

“Dear Lord, Let me not be deceived by all the pleasant pictures which pour out from the television each day. But help me to keep my eyes firmly fixed upon Jesus…
As the opening verse says, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:13-14

A friend of the website had been listening to conservative Christian radio stations for the past several years.

And quite often, he would hear a certain name mentioned! It was the name of a popular conservative Bible teacher.

And every time that Bible teacher’s name was mentioned, the person mentioning him, without fail, began to heap all sorts of laud and praise upon that popular Bible teacher!
Well, eventually the day came when this website’s friend finally got the chance to listen to this very admired and popular Bible teacher.

But much to his surprise, it was such a let-down for him! Oh, it wasn’t that this Bible teacher was teaching heresy! No, this Bible teacher was staying pretty much within the parameters of the Bible.
.
And no, he wasn’t disappointed in the man’s personal character.
.
Rather this Bible teacher seemed to be the very icon of morality!
No, the big problem was, that this popular Bible teacher was committing the very same error which is very common among so many other radio and TV Bible teachers in this current dismal condition of the Church.
.
And just what is that great error?
.
You see, this very popular Bible teacher was preaching to the wrong church!
.
The wrong church!?
.
Now how in the world could a radio Bible teacher be preaching to the wrong church!?
The great problem with today’s Church is, that in this very opulent and decadent western culture, we Christians quite often feel that we are, “rich and increased with goods”, and have need of nothing. And we know not that we are “poor, wretched, miserable blind and naked.” (Revelation 3:16)
.
Yes, the Christian community in this decadent society has become the, “Lukewarm” church. The opulent church!
.
And this was the great problem with this popular Bible teacher! He was addressing his audience as if they were the Church of Philadelphia, the victorious church! (see Revelation 3:7,8)
.
But in reality, he was preaching to Lukewarm Laodiceans!
.
Us!
.
And sadly, this is the common error which is so prevalent in today’s pulpits.
The fact is, it is Satan’s great purpose today, to keep the Church in total spiritual slumber, and yet in a self-deceived presumptuousness!
.
And so, Satan makes us think we are shoe-ins for Heaven! And he speaks through very many shepherds today, constantly telling their flock, that all is, “peace and safety” (see 1st Thessalonians 5:3).
.
“Don’t worry”, Satan says, “You are saved by grace! Don’t you dare question your Salvation! You’re doing just fine! Enjoy life! Now please, just go back to sleep!”
.
And this has created a condition in today’s churches that can only be described as follows… “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2nd Timothy 4:3, 4.
Now what this Bible teacher should have been doing, was to give a straight testimony to us Laodiceans: a wake-up call, that we are in great peril!

Yes, this message to the Laodicean church, is the very message that should have been hammered over and over again, into the very depths of our consciousness!
.
And so, just as John the Baptist gave Israel the straight unvarnished truth, so also, should we be declaring to our brothers and sisters in spiritual Israel, our great peril!

Listen to Isaiah… “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show My people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” Isaiah 58:1
Well, we conservative Christians (Jerusalem) love to point the finger-of-indignation at all those liberal churches (Samaria), not realizing that we too have filled our lives with many of the modern-day idols: the gods of ambitious careers.

The gods of excessive amusements. The gods of inordinate television watching, and radio listening. The gods of money-getting, and all the things that money buys: excessively expensive vehicles, and luxury vacation-resorts, and ivy-covered houses and lands, and divers kinds of pleasure-vehicles. All the many decadent pleasures and proud, ambitious pursuits of this cornucopian super-society.

Listen to James…“Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.” James 5:5
Yes, these popular Bible teachers should have warned us not to encourage our children to obtain a high-priced education in the schools of Babylon, so that they could pursue a time-consuming career, heaping up to themselves, earthly riches and Mammon, up to the sky!

These teachers should have warned us that we were wrongly encouraging our children to pursue the very same decadent opulence which eventually led the inhabitants of Sodom into all sorts of debauchery, which ultimately caused the destroying fire of God to come down upon that city.
Instead, these teachers should have constantly encouraged us to follow Paul’s admonition… “And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.” 1st Timothy 6:8, 9.

These are the very words of God, given to us through the voice of the apostle, Paul, who lived what he preached. You see, Paul lived a life of self-imposed poverty, that he could give all, even as his Lord gave all!

Listen… “Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them [but] dung, that I may win Christ,” Philippians 3:8
.
Yes, Paul’s self-sacrificing life stands as a sharp and cutting rebuke to all of us so-called “conservative” Christians.
Truth-be-told, we’ve come to the day when the itching-ears prevail!

But the Good News is this: God has provided living waters for all those who choose to come out of spiritual Babylon.
.
Listen… “And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.” Isaiah 30:25.

We are in that very day, in which we much flee to the top of heavenly Sion, as we realize that the towers (congregations) are fallen!

But God has made abundant spiritual provisions for all those who take flight!

If a person goes out at night, beginning in April (earlier in southern-most latitudes, and later in northern-most), in the pre-dawn hour, they just might locate the constellation commonly referred to as the Sagittarius Constellation. It is located in the southern sky. (Each night it appears a little earlier, slowly inching westward, through the summer, until it finally disappears below the western horizon in November.) At first, it simply appears as two twin birds flying westward.

But if you look once again, it just might appear as a long box-like figure, with one star on the right, as you face it, and two stars on the left. The box, of course would be the Ark, and the stars on either side would represent angels, which are sometimes referred to as stars in the Bible (for instance, “the seven stars are the angels…” Revelation 1:20). To the right is a star-chart from Wikipedia, in which the editor of this site has sketched in this Sagittarius Constellation, to show how God created it to appear.
There is so much incredible truth and insight to be gleaned in the Old Testament!

The problem is, our theologians and teachers have assured us that many or even most of those prophecies were merely for Old Testament Israel, and not for us!

“Classical Prophecies”, they say. “Nice poetry! Wonderful literature! Great historical insight! Many moral lessons!”
If only we would take heed to John’s Revelation… “And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me…worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Revelation 19:10.

Yes, the whole Bible is the spirit of prophecy! The entire Bible is prophetic! It is up-to-date! And the whole Bible is every bit as relevant as today’s newspaper! Even more so! Because the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, tells us exactly where we are, and what our condition is, at this very present hour!
The message of the Old Testament prophets, was basically this: God’s people are caught-up in idolatry, and are under the disapproving eye of God. And because of our idolatry, God will allow our enemies to reign over us. And it is high-time we repent, and turn away from our many idols, back to God!

Most anybody can see that this society is in deep trouble, morally, spiritually, financially, and politically. Things are happening which are baffling, to say the least! Our western societies are literally crumbling before our very eyes, or so it seems!
Now there are many voices in our society, calling for reform. “We have to take this nation back!”And this same battle-cry is being sounded within the Christian community as well! “We have to take back this nation for God!”And many Christians are listening to these voices which are trumpeting this alarm!

Yes, Christians are listening to their own political/religious watchmen.
.
But many Christians are also listening to the secular voices as well…“We have to form ‘action-committees’! We have to get out and vote! We have to take back the various institutions which are mis-leading our society in a downward spiral!”And this message is resonating with very many Christians!
But is this what God wants from Christians? Is God wanting a political and social crusade?

Listen to the prophet, Isaiah… “And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter!” Isaiah 59:14. Yes, even though these solemn words were penned some 2,700 years ago, they could well be today’s newspaper headlines!
Just look around! Judgment is turned away backward! Justice is standing afar off! Truth is fallen in the street! Yes, we are appalled at the crazy court decisions being handed down on an everyday occurrence!

We are astonished as Sodom & Gomorrah is now coming back with a vengeance! We are baffled as our politicians thrust us into economic suicide!
.
We tearfully behold our children being led away into moral depravity, by an invisible Pied Piper from Hell, via television and high-tech musical devices!
Yes, it seems that everything in the world is now turning itself on its head!
.
But is it ‘action-committees’ that we need? Is it more votes to get the “right people” into office? Will storming the not-so-hallowed-halls of the various institutions ever bring back the sanity that we have seemed to have lost in this society?
.
Yes, Isaiah lays out the great problem… “And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter!” Isaiah 59:14.

We are in deep, deep trouble, today! But Isaiah does not call for ‘action-committees’, or more ‘voting-coalitions’, or storming the not-so-hallowed-halls of various, “higher” learning institutes!

The message of Isaiah, as well as the other prophets, is one of personal repentance… “Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;” Isaiah 1:16.Here is the only remedy which will ever cure the cancer upon any society. Here is a revolution which begins when one wipes off the fog from the bathroom mirror. Personal repentance!
And James in the New Testament picks up on the same theme… “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God….Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.” James 4:4, 8-10.

Yes, it has been our friendship with the world, which has caused God to withdraw His protection from our societies! And we Christians have all been guilty! None of us can hold our head up high, or throw our “holy” rags around us, pointing our bony finger of haughty disapproval of others! This is a problem which each of us, who call ourselves Christians, must deal with.

The only action committee that must be formed is with me and the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!
.
The only voting-block that will win an election, is to “vote with my feet”, and walk away from my own personal evil associations!
.
And the only hallowed-hall that needs to be stormed is my own personal prayer-closet!
.
God is not raising up groups to take anything back! But God is working in a very personal way with any man, woman, or child who is willing to let Christ come in and transform that person into the image of Christ!
“Dear Lord, Help me to begin a life of personal repentance and turning away from all corrupting influences. Keep me back from all self-confident human-strength and human-wisdom in trying to change my own personal world, as well as the world-at-large. Make me as Thy little child, relying on Thee and Thee alone, to bring about any supposed needed changes…

Listen to the entire quote… “These (Believers) all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off…and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth…But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly…for He (God) hath prepared for them a city.” Hebrews 11:13-16.

So as that old song says, “This world is not my home. I’m just a-passing through!…”
But the big problem is, as one looks around at Christendom in this society, it seems like most Christians have nestled down, trying to make life as nice as possible!

Just like the unbelieving world!

Even the Sabbath Day at church is often followed by a big dinner, then consummated by sports television, and kicking back the remaining hours of that day supposedly dedicated to Jesus!

And Monday brings a return to work, so as to provide for nice houses, nice cars, plus various up-and-coming parties, and holidays, and travel, and amusements, and copious television-watching, and joining in with this lost world in many clubs and associations, and who knows what else!

PAUL’S TOTAL DEVOTION!

In contrast to this sad condition of the present-day Church, the life of the apostle, Paul, stands as an open rebuke to most all of us today!

Yes, Paul lived the very same life that he preached to others. Living in self-imposed poverty, he worked day and night to lead others to Salvation.

Thus, Paul’s very life was an on-going witness, that this world was not Paul’s home!

Listen to Paul’s testimony… “Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,” Philippians 3:8.

Do we see Paul’s brand of whole-hearted devotion to God in today’s church-world?
There is a saying which goes… “Imitation is the highest form of Praise!”

Of course, to imitate Christ, is the highest form of praise to God.
.
But to imitate the world, and its music, and its sports, and its dress, and its comedy, and its talk, and its business practices, and its ethnic traditions, and its fads and fashions: is not the embracing of these things by Christians, the highest compliment we can pay them?
.
So just how can we expect the world to believe that we have something better to offer them, when we zealously pursue the things that they offer us?
.
Don’t we think they notice?
.
Of course they do! The Devil makes very sure of that!

WHICH WORLD DO I LOVE AND SERVE?
.
Oh yes, we must live and work and provide for the needs, comfort, and happiness of our family members. And nothing is more enjoyable than to enjoy life with our family members!
.
But in this land of decadent opulence and hedonism, many or perhaps most go beyond, seeking after those pleasures and proud pursuits with heart and soul and strength!
Now the very Good News is this: if this opulent world’s vain pleasures and pursuits have caused me to have fallen into spiritual slumber, I can begin to cry out to God to fully wake me up and chasten me, so that my life may be in harmony with Paul’s life.

And Paul was not given to us as some sort of statue-on-a-pedestal, merely to be admired and adored!
.
No Paul was given as a role-model of how we are to behave, amongst our family and friends and community.

Listen… “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.” 1st Corinthians 11:1.

And in my own little sphere, I can have the same zeal as Paul had, whether at work, or at home, or at recreation with my family.
“Dear Lord, Give me the wisdom of how to use the things of the world, and yet not pursue the vanity and folly that is so prevalent in this world. Help me to fully understand what it means to “walk, even as He (Jesus) walked”…

AT THE CROSSROADS OF LIFE…

As we all know, life is made up of one decision after another. Some are of little consequence. Others are more important. And then there are those times which require life-changing decisions.

The Bible speaks of the Valley of Decision…“Multitudes, multitudes in the ‘Valley of Decision’…for the day of the Lord is near in the ‘Valley of Decision’.” Joel 3:14. Of course, this valley is a spiritual concept and not a literal place.

But God has inscribed this very truth in the heavens. It is called “The Valley of Decision” Constellation. It speaks of that valley that each person must walk through.

LOCATING THIS CONSTELLATION GROUP…

Look eastward in the early summer through fall. Find the Cassiopeia Constellation.Cassiopeia is the Mount of Blessing. In the sketch, it is the farthest mountain to the left. In the sky, it is the northern-most of these three mountains when facing eastward. It resembles a pyramid. Then find the next pyramid to its right (south). Then go a little further south to the next third pyramid. The third snow-cap is the Destroying Mountain Constellation. These three pyramids are the snow-capped portion of these three mountains in this sketch. (of course, you won’t see the snow-caps in the sky. They are just an embellishment in this sketch to present a concept-EDITOR).

THE VALLEY OF DECISION CONSTELLATION GROUP.

They appear in mid-summer in the eastern skies in pre-dawn hours. These are made of Cassiopeia (mount on left), and various stars from the Andromeda Constellation (valley) Pegasus (Mount of Cursing (middle mount) & Destroying Mount (right)), and Pisces (Broad Way to Hell). The galaxy which appears to be climbing the Mountain of Blessing is the Andromeda Galaxy.

The above Wikipedia star-chart shows this amazing constellation group as it appears from June to fall, just prior to the winter constellation group. Actually, this Valley of Decision Constellations appear in early summer in the pre-dawn hours. (Editor of this website has sketched in this constellation group onto this above Wikipedia star-chart.)
LITTLE COMPANION… Mercury is the Sun’s ‘little companion’, so to speak. Oh yes, it’s a “little” companion. (Mercury is just a little larger than Pluto; Pluto being the 10th and smallest member of the major planets. There is a current debate about Pluto, however). But small as Mercury is, it’s the closest planet to the Sun. This presents an object lesson. As Mercury is a constant companion to the Sun, so we need to be a constant companion to the “Sun of Righteousness”. Malachi 4:1
But Scripture makes it clear that we can’t “hang around” with someone without being influenced by that person; especially if we admire that person whom we’re associating with.

The Bible says that “companionship” says a lot about who we are. Have you ever heard the expression, “Tell me who your friends are, and I’ll tell you who you are”?
.
The Bible asks the very same question, but in a somewhat different way… “Can two walk together, except they are in agreement?” Amos 3:3.
.
God asks us this question. And the obvious answer is, “yes”. They must be in agreement.
.
But this next verse seems to be an answer to the previous verse. Just listen… “…we…beholding…the Lord…are changed into the same image.” 2nd Corinthians 3:18.
.
This verse confirms that associating with Jesus has a positive influence on a person. Thus, by walking with Jesus, we become in agreement with Jesus.

EVIL ASSOCIATIONS AFFECT US
.
But this principal of “who we walk with”,also works in the negative sense… “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” 1st Corinthians 15:33.

By associating with bad influences, we imperceptibly begin to take on those evil attributes.
.
“Be not deceived”, this last verse states. Every time Scripture issues this warning, we need to realize that Satan will try to deceive us on that very point.
.
So don’t let anyone deceive you into thinking that you can associate with evil behavior and not be affected by that behavior.

HEAVENLY ROLE-MODELS or HELLISH ROLE MODELS?
.
As most everyone in the Christian community understands, the Bible uses, not only Jesus, but mere mortals, such as Paul, to be role-models for Christians to admire and emulate.
.
But Lucifer, now called Satan, fully understands this, and has given us his own role-models for us to conform to. And now, with the advent of television, radio, the printed page, and high-tech devices, like never before this Master-Destroyer has perfected his mind-control machinery in which to conform the world into his own selfish image!
.
And so, the many ‘superstars’ seen and adored by the lost multitudes on a daily basis, become firmly etched upon the tables of the human hearts of all those adoring fans of these so-called, ‘ministers of righteousness’, which are seen and heard all over today’s mass-media!
.
And as a result, they eventually begin to emulate them in their own personal daily lives!
“(Jesus) Who being the brightness of His (the Majesty on high’s) glory, and the express image of His person…” Hebrews 1:3
.
And speaking of images, the above verse states that Jesus, being the eternal Son of God, was the express image of the Godhead.
.
But these things concerning the Godhead are far higher than any human can understand. And yet, one thing is for sure: Jesus was, and is in constant communion with the Godhead, of whom He is an integral part. Jesus and the Father and the Holy Spirit are One.
.
Now this concept brings home to each and every Believer the very same concept: “whose companion am I?Who do I admire? Who do I look up to?”
.
Here is the first object lesson.
.
Just as Jesus is at oneness with the Godhead, so must we be at oneness with Jesus, and He with us!
And back to Planet Mercury, and the Sun: just like the Sun is closest to planet Mercury, so too, the Christian must stick close to Jesus, the ‘Sun of Righteousness’.

And so how does this relate to the Second Commandment?
.
Just listen to this next passage… “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass (mirror) the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2nd Corinthians 3:18
.
Like the 2nd Commandment, this incredible verse likewise speaks of image-making. But this verse speaks of the wonderful image that God has in mind for His children to attain to: to be changed into the image of Jesus! Isn’t this what it’s all about?
And this most amazing passage about being changed into Jesus’ image, lays it all out as to the secret to success, in being a “Christ-like” Christian.

Listen to this passage once again… “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass (mirror) the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2nd Corinthians 3:18. This is one of the most powerful verses in all of Scripture!
#2 HEAVENLY SPHERE & #2 COMMANDMENT… As discussed elsewhere in this website, the Sun seems to correspond to the First Commandment. Likewise, Mercury, which is the second heavenly sphere in our solar system, seems to correspond very nicely to the Second Commandment. Both the second heavenly sphere (Mercury) and the Second Commandment (no images) are closest to the ‘Sun’. That is to say, just as planet Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun, so is the Second Commandment right next to the First Commandment (God compares himself to the Sun many times in Scripture). Jesus says to us today…

“I am the light of the world: he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12

Now any biblical discussion about the music of this world and even in the Church would not be complete without at least a mention of Lucifer and his musicianship.

So the first biblical mention of Lucifer’s musical abilities is found in Isaiah.

Listen…“Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!” Isaiah 14:11, 12.
.
So in these above words of Isaiah, it is mentioned here that Lucifer had music abilities, where it says…“Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and THE NOISE OF THY VIOLS…O Lucifer, son of the morning!”
.
Here it is revealed that Lucifer was somehow intimately connected with viols.
.
These viols would, no doubt, be stringed instruments.
Now many theologians also attribute this following passage to Lucifer as well…“the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created…Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee…Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness” Ezekiel 28:14, 15, 17 [condensed].

So, if both these passages apply to Lucifer, then it is a dramatic testimony to Lucifer’s musical abilities. Tabrets are percussion instruments. Pipes would be wind instruments or organ pipes. Viols of course, would be stringed instruments.
.
Well, you could possibly say that Lucifer was a veritable, “One-Man-Orchestra/Choir”!
Now it could be conjectured about Lucifer’s position in Heaven, or perhaps about him being the chief choir director in Heaven.
.
But we do know that Lucifer was cast out of Heaven and now is known as “the god of this world” (see 2nd Corinthians 4:4).
.
And we also know that he is called, “the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:” Ephesians 2:2
.
And given these three facts (his in-built musical instruments, his being “god of this world”, and his being “the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience”), then it is not too difficult to deduce that this fallen angel continues his musical abilities right here in this fallen world, Planet Earth!
But the big point is, that it was Lucifer’s beauty which caused his heart to be lifted up.
.
And because God has warned us not to be lifted up in our own hearts, one would think that Christians, above all others, would be taking precautions, not to allow ourselves to follow in Lucifer’s footsteps!
.
For anyone who has performed some artistic ability in public arenas, there is an undeniable swelling of pride, especially when one receives praise over that performance. At times, this swelling of pride can almost reach the point of a narcotic-like rapture!
.
And so, it is not hard to imagine how Lucifer allowed his musical abilities to go to his head.
.
Just imagine how he felt, with all the angels of Heaven admiring his beauty, throughout all those eras of time!
And so, with this having been said, it should be of utmost priority for Christians to take every precaution against putting our own selves in any situation which might cause that same spirit of pride to swell up in our own heart!
.
Unfortunately there seems to be a general disregard and carelessness among God’s people today. As a matter of fact, like never before in the history of the Church, Christian music artists are, “rushing in, where angels fear to tread”,in the performance of music. Yes, many Christians, young and old alike are imitating the world, becoming solo artists, in a day when the music world has become filled with idolatry and sensuality!

And, sad to say, the church-world has adopted the ways of this Babylonian world in the area of music.
.
And it is not hard to deduce that instead of following Christ, we are following Lucifer’s poor example!

DAVID SANG SOLO
.
Oh yes, David and other psalmists strummed a little stringed instrument, and eithersang, or spoke their psalms.
.
And so, this would be considered a solo performance.
.
But that is far different to what we see and hear in today’s Christianity. There is a concerted effort in today’s Christianity to emulate the music of the world. Sensuality is a big part of much of today’s Christian music!
.
And many singers make a conscience effort to sound “sexy”, as they strain their vocal chords to imitate the singers of the world.
.
And combined with the very sensual musical styles that are popular today, such current music has become a key ingredient in the wine of Babylon, which the Christian community is now being served!
Perhaps it was during the 1960’s and onward when many churches discovered that by introducing popular music genres into the churches, this brought in many younger people. And since that time, churches have continued to compromise and devolve.
.
And thus, even unconverted attendees could now enjoy church services, especially with preachers who could be part preacher, and part comedian! And along with all this devolution came relaxed standards in dress, in general behavior, with the addition of many social events, now making churches little more than social/fraternal organizations, but with a thin veneer of religiosity.

SEVERAL NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS!
.
It is recommended that all those who have been caught up in this Luciferion idolatry, either as performers or as listeners, should really consider whether it is wise to play so near to the very edge of Hell’s abyss!
.
And all those who claim to be followers of Jesus, would probably do well to take two precautionary steps, so as to not fall into Lucifer’s sin:
.
1. stay away from all forms of sensual music and/or lyrics.
.
2. stay away from all solo performances, if a great emphasis is upon performance, rather than on Christ.
.
Yes, in every area of life, to simply do as Jesus would do, is by far the best way to do things. And notice that Jesus did not do any solo performances! He only sang in groups, singing hymns (like the happy little singing group in this photo!)
.
And for those Christians who are avid music fans, there are likewise several precautionary steps:
.
1. Stay away from all music that has an air of sensuality.
.
2. Be temperate in all things: even in the amount of time devoted to music.
“And there appeared a great wonder (or sign) in heaven; a woman…And there appeared another wonder (sign) in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads…And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God…And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.” Rev. 12:1, 3, 6, 15

Here is a sketch of this Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12. This is the Winter Constellations of Signs Of Heaven. Besides Orion and his Horse, we also see pictured in this sketch, the Dragon of Revelation 12.

This Revelation 12 Woman Constellation is fleeing. As you can see, the Dragon Constellation is spewing a flood of water in her direction, as is written… “And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.” Rev. 12:15. This wave of water represents Satan’s lies, and his false teachers who tell those lies.

GOD’S MESSAGE: FLEE!!
.
Beholding the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation in winter, it seems that God is trying to get a very important message across to His people: that His Church is to flee! But what are they to flee from? Well, you can go to the article titled “The Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation”
But beside the dragon, is she fleeing from anything else?
.
The opening verse in this article, is a passage which is found in three of the gospels: Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Here is that passage again… “But when ye shall see the Abomination of Desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:” Mark 13:14. OK, so God’s people are to flee from the Abomination of Desolation. But what is the Abomination of Desolation? And how does this wave of water coming out of the Dragon’s mouth tie in with the Abomination of Desolation?

Listen… “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only He who now lets will let, until He be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:” 2nd Thessalonians 2:7, 8.

This passage reveals that Satan (the “mystery of iniquity”) wasted no time infiltrating the Church, right after Christ’s ascension.
.
So, let’s take a very short look at the history of the Church, and see just how this “mystery of iniquity” has been working through history.
.
And maybe this will reveal that “Wicked” which is spoken of in the above passage, whom the Lord “shall destroy by the brightness of His Coming”…
“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.” Revelation 13:1

Now after Christ’s ascension, persecution against Christians began.
.
The Roman government as well as the unbelieving Jews both began to make life difficult and sometimes even bloody for Christians.
.
But around 320 A.D., the emperor of Rome, Constantine (see painting), had “a change of heart”, and began to embrace Christianity.
And while peace is nice, this embracing of Christianity by the Romans had its deleterious effects, in the form of worldly compromises.
.
False doctrines and pagan holydays were gradually introduced into the Church, causing the Church to eventually grow corrupt, ultimately becoming desolate of God’s Spirit.
.
Rules and ceremonies replaced a faith-filled communion with God.
.
Hence, the apostate European churches, using the civil governments as their “enforcers”, became the Mystery Babylon Harlot riding the Beast, as spoken of in Revelation, Chapters 17 and 18.
And then, in the 1300’s, began the great Christian Reformation.
.
God raised up men like Wycliffe, Huss, Jerome, Tyndale, Luther, and many more, who would fearlessly stand up to the priests and prelates of the apostate Church.
.
Of course, Satan, the ruler of those apostate churches, likewise began his retaliatory attacks against the Reformation; and this went on for centuries.
.
Oh yes, at various times there was peace for the Christians. God mercifully allowed them such intervals of rest.
.
But after some time, the blood of martyrs once again was spilled.
.
And also, the Bible was a much-hated book by the apostate churches, and copies were burned, and that ‘Book of books’ was outlawed.
.
Satan was relentless in his attempt to obliterate the Bible out of existence!
This Protestant reformation continued on, combating these religious and civil authorities, who were torturing, imprisoning, banishing and even killing God’s people, off-and-on, through the Dark Ages.
.
But when the prophetic timeclock ran out, this first Beast finally received the deadly wound by God’s glittering sword, the Bible. “In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.” Isaiah 27:1.

Yes, God’s glittering sword, the Bible, finally delivered a deadly wound to the Dragon, i.e., Satan, in the “sea of nations”.
You see, when the printing press was invented, an underground movement began to publish and distribute as many Bibles as possible.
.
Soon, many printing presses were producing Bibles in mass numbers.
.
At this point, the apostate European churches could no longer suppress God’s Word: the Word they attempted to obliterate from existence was at last going out into all of Europe, delivering this 1st Beast his deadly wound by a sword (the two-edged sword of God’s Word – see Hebrews, ch. 4).

The Revelation 12 Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months. The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield. This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull. The Dragon’s tail-tip is Pleiades and the lower shaft of his tail is partly of Ariesand Pisces. Then with aid of a dark and starry night, you may begin to connect the mouth and the tail with a very long body in an oval shape. The front and back legs are made of a few stars: the front legs partially of stars from Taurus . The back legs and rear fin are made of 6 stars from the CetusConstellation.

BODY HARD TO SEE

The long oval-shaped body has relatively few stars, but can been seen, howbeit with a dark, starry night. The four stars of the front fins are made partially of Taurus .

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon. And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.” Revelation 13:11, 12

After the fall of the Church of Rome, at about the end of the 1700’s, Satan had to employ a new strategy against Heaven. And Satan had a radically different plan this time. And so came the hour for the second Beast (picture right) to make his appearance on the world-stage. This first Beast (picture below left) received the deadly wound. But this wound would be healed, as is written… “And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.” Revelation 13:3
.
It was the, “Sword of the Spirit…the Word of God”, which began rolling off the newly-invented printing presses, that gave the deadly wound to the 1st Beast.
.
And so, at the same time that the first Beast (left) was seemingly dying, this second Beast was arising out of the Earth. Yes, just as the first Beast arose from the sea of nations in Europe, this second Beast arose from the power derived from earth’s riches in the New World.
.
This second Beast took over for the badly wounded 1st Beast. In worldly terms, you could say it was kind-of a, “hellish tag-team”, with the 2nd Beast stepping in, and taking over for that mortally-wounded 1st Beast!

Now why did God even speak of a second Beast? Why did He not just speak of this first Beast?

Well, the answer to this question is quite simple! You see, after his ruthless first Beast received its deadly wound by God’s glittering Sword (the Bible), Satan knew he had to put an entirely “new face” on his hellish war-machine. The 1st Beast was so ruthless, and had such a horrible and bloody reputation, it was virtually impossible for this beast to have any more favor with society. Not to mention that the Bible was now being read by the great masses in Europe, which only exposed the totally unbiblical doctrines of that apostate European church-system.
.
So, an entirely new and different strategy had to be employed. This new Beast was a kinder and gentler beast. After all, false prophets have to be nice, to a certain extent. And this was prophesied of in Daniel… “and by peace shall (he) destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.” Daniel 8:25

Yes, these two beasts had a vastly different modus-operandi from each other! They had two entirely different strategies to wage their war against Heaven: the first by blood and torture and famine and war. But the second Beast would employ just the opposite: prosperity, materialism, false ideologies and world-loving prosperity-driven gospels.
.
Yes, the pendulum was about to swing the opposite direction. And Satan was going to make sure it would swing much too far in the opposite direction!
.
Wealth, pleasures, peace and safety, and time-consuming diversions, false miracles in world-loving churches, were just some of the weapons of war which this 2nd Beast, the False Prophet, would employ against God’s people in these last days.
“Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Lest I be full, and deny Thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.” Proverbs 30:8, 9

This above verse lays down an important principle: neither extreme (poverty nor riches) is healthy. And so, this passage seems to be a hidden prophecy concerning the two periods of the New Testament history.

This 2nd Beast was a new and improved beast. No longer did Satan need to kill, torture and banish Christians. Nor did he need to confiscate and burn Bibles. No, this new and improved Beast would simply flood the Christian nations with every conceivable pleasure and pursuit, and material good, and false ideology! (“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth;” Revelation 13:11). Truly, this beast arose out of the Earth: because earthly Mammon and material excess, and fleshly lusts were what this 2nd Beast (The False Prophet) was all about!
And in addition to this, Satan has turned his efforts to persecute God’s people by means of false ideologies and biblical counterfeits. He has flooded the world with every pleasure, pursuit, ideology, and false gospel conceivable.

Our great Enemy no longer needs to imprison and torture Christians in man-made dungeons. This great deceiver would simply flood the world with all the “lusts of the flesh, lusts of the eyes and pride of life”,to the point that Christians were so preoccupied with worldly pursuits and watered-down prosperity gospels, that they had little time and little inclination to devote themselves to ceaseless prayer, and to the study of God’s Word, and to the purification of the heart. Yes, this False Prophet successfully captivated the hearts of God’s people, and greatly stunted the growth of God’s Church, by means of earthly Mammon, and wretched excess, and worldly gospels!

“Dear Lord, Give me neither poverty nor riches. But provide my basic needs, myself, and for my family. Let us not go greedily after the selfish pleasures and pursuits of this life. But let us seek to follow Thee with all our heart…
“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.” Rev. 12:3

In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns. However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not. But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns. Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars. The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7). And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10). So we have this 7 and 10 numbering. And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent. Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).
