Movie-goers have been fascinated with the “Femme-Fatale” for many decades!
.
The handsome and rugged hero meets the beautiful and seductive, yet unobtainable heroine! And before long this nitro-glycerin chemistry produces a 120-minute movie-thriller, which keeps audiences clamoring for a sequel or two!
.
Well, all this is made to look really great on the silver-screen!
.
And with the addition of edgy music, glamorous “stars”, and a sympathetic storyline and some terrific camerawork, this larger-than-life extravaganza makes such an imaginary lifestyle seem so exciting and romantic, and well, maybe even an obtainable dream to so many gullible movie-goers!

SATAN: “GOD OF THIS WORLD”
.
And, the fact is, Satan is the true behind-the-scenes movie producer in Hollywood!
.
Make no mistake about that, O Christian!
.
Satan and his armies (both human and angelic) are busy, busy, busy, churning out all these 120-minute puffs of imagery from the never-dormant smokestacks of Hollywood’s Dream-Machine!
.

SATAN’S ADVERTISER-IN-CHIEF!
.
Yes, the television/movie industry is Satan’s advertiser-in-chief for this high-tech world.
.
And, well, God wasn’t taken by surprise in His foreknowledge of Satan’s last-day arsenal of weaponry.
.
Nor was He ignorant of the Devil’s modus-operandi! As a matter of fact, God had created Nature in such a way, so as to teach us all about Satan’s deceptive ways!
.
Take for instance, the little seductress, the Photuris, commonly known as the femme fatale lightning bugs of North America. These alluring little lightning bugs can imitate the mating-signals of light which female fireflies emanate in order to attract the male firefly into mating rites. But when these alluring impostors make contact with the naive male firefly, they quickly gobble up that unsuspecting firefly.
.
Yes, just imagine this happy-go-lucky little firefly, joyfully buzzing about the summer night air, giving his light for all the world to see! And then, he spots a certain flashing light off in the distance, giving that unmistakable love-light signal that tells him it’s another firefly of the opposite gender! And she wants him!
.
And so, this naive little light-bearer responds to her love-light signal! And off he goes, straight into a deadly trap, set by this predatory impostor! And before he realizes the impending danger, he flies right into her seductively treacherous arms!

And in a few seconds, he is no more!

CHRISTIANS ARE ALSO TO BE LIGHT!
.
Well, the obvious lesson here is seen when considering the Christian, who has been commissioned to “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.” Matthew 5:16
.
Yes, just like those wonderful little fireflies, the Christian is to let his light shine for all the world to see!
.
And God has given him, or her, the joyful commission to let their light be a soul-saving beacon to those who walk in darkness in this hopeless world!

SATAN’S COUNTERFEIT LIGHT
.
Now Satan, of course, wants to put that light out!
.
The last thing Satan wants, is for the Christian to be a beacon of light for all the world to see!
.
And so, Satan has kept himself very busy inventing counterfeit Christians, in hopes of mingling his false light with the true Light!
.
And how does Satan accomplish this? In many different ways!
.
For one thing, the Bible tells us that Satan will raise up false shepherds, who will, “if possible, deceive even the very Elect”! (see Matthew 24:24)
.

UNEQUALLY YOKED
.
Another way Satan seeks to gobble up the young and naive Christian, is to bring some femme-fatale across that Christian’s pathway.
.
Oh yes, she’s good looking and very alluring! And before long they have a church wedding, followed by a life of going further and further away from the true pathway to Heaven!
.
Yes, this femme-fatale seductress has a form of godliness: just enough to fool the simple-minded Believer!
.
And just like that counterfeit little Photuris Lightning-bug, this Counterfeit Christian seductress sends out a signal of light to that naive Christian, and eventually gobbles up whatever Christian goodness he ever did possess!

WHO CONVERTS WHO?
.
Perhaps, in the beginning, the Christian said to himself, “Well, I know she’s not much of a Christian! But maybe I can eventually convert her! After all, she promised to faithfully go to church with me, if we marry!”
.
Well as we all know, the only one who gets converted, is the Christian…converted back into the world!
.
Yes, before long, she has made him the sole-provider of all her worldly dreams and aspirations! And after a few years, his life is so hopelessly devoted to striving after all the accouterments of this life, in attempt to satisfy the insatiable desires of his prosperity-driven soul-mate!
.
(Of course, this above scenario is equally true when a female Christian becomes unequally yoked with an unbelieving male!)
.

WORLD TAKES PRECEDENCE OVER HEAVEN!
.
And so, Jesus gets put on the backburner! The world takes precedence over the things of Heaven!
.
Oh yes, they go to church each week! And this once-a-week Christian warrior attempts to please God with a two-hour offering of church attendance, followed by six days of laboring for the things of the world! (And yes, they may do a 15-minute Bible study each morning. But all that is quickly dissipated, as soon as the mundane-millstone begins its daily grind!)
.
But the Bible says… “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. ” Matthew 6:24
.

THE GOOD NEWS!
.
The very Good News is, that there is nothing impossible for God!
.
Yes, with God, all things are possible! And just as God did not forget about His people who were taken captive as slaves in a foreign land, so too, God sees His Elect people who have become modern-day slaves in this Babylonish world! And at some point, He will bring each weary and heavily-ladened soul into the Valley of Decision!
.
And perhaps as he or she is laying in bed, after a hard and discouraging, or even sad day, a still small voice pierces the night… “Why am I putting out all this energy and self-sacrificing toil? Why am I going after all the meaningless things of the world? And after a few more decades, I will begin to get old and eventually die! And for what? Isn’t there something better? And didn’t I once love to sing about Jesus? And didn’t I once love to read my Bible? And didn’t I once believe in Heaven and all the wonderful glories of everlasting life?”

LIFE FROM THE DEAD!
.
Yes, there is a very wonderful and merciful light which shines down from Heaven, piercing through the dark clouds, sending bright beams of mercy even into this dark and hopeless world!
.
And even though that little unsuspecting firefly goes hopelessly into the deadly jaws of the femme-fatale lightning-bug impostor, the Christian who has been deceived by Satan’s impostors, has a God in Heaven who (if He chooses to), can bring him (or her) back from death and destruction!
.
Yes, even though there’s no earthly hope for that little firefly, yet our great Redeemer has not forgotten even one wayward sinner! And He can even turn a completely hopeless situation around!
.
And the One who was Himself, brought back to life from the dead, can now bring back those who have been gobbled up by one of Satan’s many counterfeit light-bearers!
.
And once revived, that redeemed one will finally realize that his or her relationship with Jesus is much more fulfilling, more faithful, and more joyful than any earthly relationship could ever be!

REVELATION 12 WRITTEN IN HEAVEN
.
“And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman…And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon…And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels…And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness…And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.” Rev. 12:1, 3, 6, 7, 14, 15

Here is a sketch of this Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12. This is the Winter Constellations of Signs Of Heaven. Besides Orion and his Horse, we also see pictured in this sketch, the Dragon of Revelation 12.

This Revelation 12 Woman Constellation is fleeing. As you can see, the Dragon Constellation is spewing a flood of water in her direction, as is written… “And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.” Rev. 12:15.

This wave of water represents Satan’s lies, and his false teachers who tell those lies.

Beholding the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation in winter, it seems that God is trying to get a very important message across to His people: that His Church is to flee!
